New life fertility made our impossible POSSIBLE!The entire staff are so kind and caring, greeting us at each appointment with such care and warmth! Really made the experience much better. When going to the fertility clinic seeking answers and being so hopeful, it was amazing to have a team that made us so comfortable.Dr. Ripps and his team took time to explore, determine, diagnose, and explain the issues we faced, and corrected the problems that eventually blessed us with our baby girl!We are grateful beyond what any words can explain!Highly recommend NewLife to any partners struggling in fertility.
To the entire staff at NewLIFE,Thank you for your top notch care during our fertility journey. During the most difficult of times, you showed us so much compassion and understanding. The nursing staff treated me so kindly and gently during my treatments. To the point that when we graduated on from the clinic, I was almost sad to go and leave the amazing staff behind. You made it easy to trust you. Thank you for holding my hand through our first failed cycles, our first failed IUI, and for celebrating with us after the second IUI was successful. We wouldn’t have this sweet, amazing, smart little boy without you. He just turned one last week. We are so grateful.
Going to NewLIFE was the highlight of living in Florida for me. The entire staff was and is wonderful. They are very in-depth with their testing and try to give you a comprehensive understanding of the problems that face you, options for solutions, and the statistical likelihood of those solutions working. We are 1 for 2 in our embryo transfers. We were devastated with the loss of our second, but understand that IVF and FETs are not always successful even though we want them to be and even though all the tests indicate they should be good, theres still a chance that it doesnt turn out. That said, our very first embryo transfer gifted us our beautiful child who is now a toddler. Perfectly happy and healthy. We would not be parents if it werent for NewLIFE.Communication has been rough, but I think they share the load now because it was significantly easier to get responses this FET round than it was the first. I would definitely recommend the Pensacola location for your fertility needs.
Highly disappointed already have been trying to schedule an appointment here. Their machines require a voicemail, nobody answers them. They say they will call back as long as it is before three pm. They dont expect a turn around time of 5-7 business days. When do you do finally speak to someone about scheduling they are extremely rude. They dont want to help and rush you off the phone, wouldnt recommend for fertility treatment.
We are now having to seek treatment and travel out of state because we had such a bad experience here and unfortunately there’s not any other local options that meet our needs. Be prepared for a lack of communication, nothing being done in a timely manner, a lack of trauma informed care, and being made to feel like an annoyance during a vulnerable time.I was never able to meet the doctor, but the staff working there were nice enough but no one seemed to communicate effectively with each other or me as a patient. It takes days to be called back if at all.For one of my initial tests there were 4 staff present. When I voiced my concern and expressed that I felt uncomfortable with so many people in the room I was ignored and no one left or moved to a part of the room where they would not see me fully exposed. There were multiple occasions when my medications were overlooked and information I provided was not reviewed and I was then questioned for not “bringing it up”. This ultimately caused us to have to “scrap” the entire month of testing, hundreds of dollars, and multiple days off from work. They made my husband go through testing twice and insisted he needed further advanced testing. We have since had a second and third opinion with all normal results and no issues. So more wasted money, time, and stress. We have been asking for our test results and documentation for weeks. We were told at appointments it would be uploaded to the patient portal. I also called, sent a message on the portal, and went in person to gain access to my information and still haven’t received it.We are loving our current experience at a different clinic, it’s a complete night and day difference!
My husband and I have been using New Life in Dothan, Al for a little over two years. We just had the pleasure of going to the Pensacola office for two procedures and just wanted to say how lovely the staff were. Dr. Ripps has ALWAYS been so kind. During both procedures he made me feel comfortable and talked us through the whole thing. I know he is very busy and sees a lot of patients but always took his time with us. Highly recommend them! Thank you again Dr. Ripps and staff for all your help!
My husband and I completed fertility treatments at the Pensacola office with Dr. Ripps last year. I am grateful for our daughter that they helped us create. However, if we were to return to the area, we would seek treatments elsewhere. The nursing staff was wonderful but it did not make up for Dr. Ripps lack of bedside manner or the poor communication of the office. He made a very inappropriate comment about my body during our transfer that my husband can attest to.You can never catch anyone on the phone, I’ve always had to leave a voice mail & hope they call back. They didn’t tell the the grades of my embryos so I’ve been trying to contact them for 2 weeks now. I’ve spoke to Nicole just for her to say the embryologist should contact me. That was a week ago now. Don’t expect for them do anything quickly or easily. I also had to advocate for myself more than be guided by their supposed expertise in the field of fertility. They never suggested a new treatment plan after other procedures had failed. Sadly, not a great experience.
As I lay here not being able to sleep because Im still distraught about spending $16,000 with still no baby, Im reading some of the reviews. It seems as though our experience at New Life wasnt an individual case. I hate that, but it now validates my suspicions. I feel for each and every one of you that he, Dr. Ripps, has done this to you. He is not a personable person and in my opinion sexist. He treated my husband with way more respect than me in every situation. It is almost as if he has a God complex without the knowledge. He allows his staff to be incompetent. He refuses to travel or make special appointments or visits for his patients, and he expects his patients to be 100 % emotionally stable. Which is quite funny when they have us doped up on hormones. He verbatim stated that during our situation it wasnt the labs fault this time. Which allows for error. I would HIGHLY recommend any other office for ANY fertility treatments. My sole reason being that after our 2 rounds, with a donor egg, the egg bank gave us a 3rd round for free. This was after seeing medical statements from New Life. The only reason being that an egg bank gives a patient $18,000 in free eggs, is that they see there was fault in the doctors office. I have proof of this. Again, I would stay far away from this clinic. It is not worth your heartache and devastation. If you want proof, I have it!
Staff at New Life made my husband and I feel like family. Dr. Ripps never gave up on my husband and I, has I’m now 13 weeks pregnant. Dr. Ripps was always caring, open, and informative about our options. Heather the NP was always very caring and informative. We appreciate all the staff at New Life for their caring nature and hard work. We definitely would recommend the clinic to anyone having fertility issues.
I felt compelled to post a review following my recent experience with New Life and in response to Jennifers recent post below. There must be a bit more to your situation. My experiences wtih NewLife, Dr. Ripps, and all of the clinical staff is drastically different. I have been a patient in both the Pensacola and Mobile offices. Like you, we have experienced the ups and downs of the infertility journey and could not imagine going through the process at another practice. After being a patient with other physicians, I assure you, Dr. Ripps always provides the best patient-focused care. The outcomes are not always positive, the unknowns stressful, but the reality is attitude, faith, committment and communication are necessary. As someone who also used donor eggs and was 45 years old, when I had my first child, I can relate to the expense and emotional rollercoaster. Do not let your journey stop others from choosing this excellent practice.Without NewLife, we would not have our two precious little ones. Everyone was there for us every step of the way, through the good and the bad. I cannot recommend NewLife enough to anyone that is in need of diagnostics, treatment, and long-term fertility planning.
After being treated at another fertility center for months now, I would 0/10 recommend NewLife Fertility. I’m only going to say how I am being treated now at our new facility and it can be inferred it was the complete opposite at NewLife. At our new clinic, we are treated unbelievably kind. Questions and conversations are welcomed. Timing is solely based on the patient and not the clinic’s convenience. All labs, results, imaging, plans, etc are provided almost immediately. Communication is easy, timely, and efficient. ALL staff at our new clinic are knowledgable and kind. Again, these are what I have experienced since we have moved on from NewLife. It’s still a bit of a heartbreak all the time and money wasted at NewLife that yielded so much added stress onto a very hard season of life. We are so grateful for our new clinic and the way we have been treated.
In 2021, my husband and I were referred to Dr. Ripps and the staff at NewLIFE shortly following a routine exam with my primary OBGYN at Sacred Heart for just some diagnostic, just in case measures. Of course, getting the referral made us want to put the brakes on immediately. Who wants to think that something could possibly be wrong? We didnt pump the brakes and we proceeded forward with the diagnostics. From the very beginning, meeting with Heather for our initial meeting to meeting with Stephanie, Clinical Care Coordinator- they made this process a little less daunting. We officially began treatment in November 2021- beginning with the diagnostic testing, later meeting with Dr. Ripps to figure out a treatment plan, to eventually deciding a long term plan that was the right fit for us.No-one prepares you for the ups and downs of fertility issues and how it seeps in to so many aspects of life but I truly felt like every single person at NewLIFE was on my side. They were so open to questions and so helpful with anything and everything that we came to them with. They made all the blood draws and ultrasounds a little less monotonous. It is easy to feel defeated and sad when things dont quite go the way you expect however, this team is relentless. They listened to our concerns after we had 2 failed IVF transfers and we figured out a plan that worked best for us.With that, I can finally say that after 4 medicated cycles, 1 egg retrieval with 6 beautiful embryos, 1 fresh transfer, 2 frozen transfers, multiple shots, medications and surgeries- we have been blessed and are expecting twin baby boys in October 2023.We are so excited and so grateful to the staff from the front office, to the insurance folks, to the ultrasound techs, the embryologists, the techs, the doctors, everyone for helping us to our dream of starting a family. We would recommend NewLIFE to anyone and everyone going through any sort of fertility issues and have actually referred quite a few people already. We cant wait to bring our little angels in to meet everyone when they grace us with their presence.THANK YOU NEWLIFE!!!!
After years struggling with infertility, NewLife came highly recommended from the women’s center at the Naval Hospital. We were so excited to start a new journey with Dr. Ripps and his staff in the Pensacola Office. The genuine care and compassion was felt from day one. We came to them with a history, but NP Heather and Dr. Ripps still took the time to sit down with us to explain all our options and customize a care plan that was perfect for us. I was so afraid to move forward with IVF but you can’t argue with their success rates. And seeing all the testimonials from other women holding their miracle babies gave us so much hope.I was blown away at how much support and assurance that was constantly offered by each of their staff members. Whether on the phone or in person at our monitoring appointments, every question was answered with calming, individualized care. The biggest thing that set them apart was the support group that was offered, which connected me with much needed mental health support and allowed me to meet other women with different stories but the same old hurt that comes with infertility. I have made lifelong friends thanks to this program.Words can not describe how grateful I am for everyone at NewLife. Thank you for these blessings, thank you for the gift of parenthood.
Only seen the doctor once. Definitely lacking compassion and empathy. After we had only one embryo out of 22 eggs, we asked what had happened. The doctor responded: well it could be the sperm or it could be the egg…They completely ignored that I had a blood clotting disorder. Didn’t put me on blood thinners even after my estrogen spiked over 2000. My obgyn told me she’s surprised I didn’t have a stroke. They don’t seem to be experienced with male factor infertility.Communication is very bad. Just trying to get my medical records took several calls, emails and messages in the portal. You couldn’t pay me to go back there again.EDIT: I did have a positive outcome with our only embryo just not a good experience with your care
My husband and I are currently undergoing treatment with Dr. Ripps and his precious team. We have felt at peace since walking in their office for the first time. We are thankful to be under their care in this journey.
This has been one of my best experiences Ive ever had dealing with my infertility. Dr. Ripps and his team make you feel like you are NOT just a number. He addressed every question I had and made sure I understood everything. I felt like he truly cared about my issues and am 100 percent confident that I will be successful in this process. I have anxiety issues and he made me feel completely at ease. PLEASE make an appointment and youll see how much they really care about their patients.
We cannot say enough good things about New Leaders. My husband and I were with them for 2 years, being treated so we could conceive our first child. Their staff is absolutely wonderful to work with. They treat you like one of their own, celebrating your accomplishments or giving a shoulder to cry on when something didnt work. Everyone was extremely supportive during every moment we were with them. After two years of trying, my husband and I successfully conceived our first child, a son! We are so grateful for Dr. Ripps and his whole entire staff for making our conceiving journey a little bit easier!
Dr. Ripps is incredible and his staff is equally excellent. Literally, every single person who works here is warm, compassionate, and extremely kind! They make an otherwise challenging situation very manageable and are a wonderful support system. I cannot recommend this practice enough!
My experience at New Leaders was more than I could have asked for or imagined. The staff is gracious, helpful, and cheering you on all the way. When we had disappointments, they were also there to support and console. Dr. Barry Ripps is compassionate and exceptionally knowledgeable. He is easy to work with, clear in explanation, and makes his patients, with all the ups and downs of fertility, feel at home and at ease. If I could rate this business 10 stars, I would. You will never regret coming to New Leaders for any of your fertility needs. By the way, my husband and I are expecting our sweet miracle in April!!!
Such a lovey staff and professional care. Always got a call back same day and scheduling around my lack of transportation was a breeze! After all of the results are back you have your sit down with Dr. Ripps, and then see him again after applying his recommendations (there is no magic solution). You see him twice, both times are very educational and he patiently answers any questions you may have. He knows what he is doing and has a great sense of humor. Happily 7+ weeks pregnant and its all thanks to this wonderful place. If you are looking into their practice, understand this journey takes TIME. My PCOS was indeed an issue, but losing weight (not even a lot of weight) in a healthy way with major diet changes and moderate exercise made all the difference and got me out of the pre - diabetic state which hinders fertility. Please understand you are not everybody else and their problems and solutions may not be YOUR problems and solutions. Thank you so much NewLIFE!
My husband and I did not care for our experience here. We went through the whole fertility work up with them, and all of my interactions were fine until my final consult at the end with Dr Ripps. I was shown a series of graphs/slides showing statistics, and basically told donor egg or embryo adoption would be my only option he would offer me. It felt so cold and lacking any compassion or hope. Wound up leaving the office in tears I was so upset. Got pregnant on my own a couple of months later, so there was hope after all.
My husband and I really love Dr. Ripps and his staff. I was ready to quit after my last miscarriage after IVF but talking to Dr. Ripps, he gave us hope to try again and to not give up. Im happy today as Im currently 8 weeks pregnant via IVF and its all thanks to him and his compassionate staff. Without them we wouldnt be at this point in our journey and we are so grateful to them. If you are having fertility issues dont hesitate to give them a call. There is hope.
Everyone was so great at both the Panama City office and the Pensacola office. Everyone was so positive and always available to answer questions. I had to drive an hour and a half for each appointment but I always felt it was well worth it. I recommend Dr. Ripps to anyone experiencing issues with fertility.
We are incredibly grateful and appreciate of Dr. Ripps and the entire staff at NewLife. Dr. Ripps was very informative and honest with us during the entire process. We had previously been going through fertility with another clinic with minimal progress or answers for 2+ years. Dr. Ripps narrowed down our issues and got us on track. The nurses and staff were incredibly supportive and warm throughout the highs and lows of the process. We highly recommend Dr. Ripps and his team! Thank you for helping us bring our little boy into the world!
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a little over a year now with no success. I have a diagnosis of Endometriosis and getting pregnant has proven to be more difficult than I could have imagined. I had my initial appointment with Dr. Ripps last week and he immediately put my mind at ease (which is no easy task). Leading up to the appointment I had been in contact with Jasmine in the office and she is as sweet as they come! I say all of this to say that while Im not far into my fertility journey with them, what I have experienced so far is fantastic. I am looking forward to working closely with Dr. Ripps and the nurses to hopefully make my dream of becoming a mom come true.
We consulted with Dr. Ripps and his team at New Life after trying more than 17 months for our second child. As a result of multiple surgeries in my 20s, I only have a left Fallopian tube and I was 36 years old when we first met with Dr. Ripps. My blood work and my husband’s sample both came back with good results, so I elected to have my fourth laparoscopic abdominal surgery so Dr. Ripps could break up any adhesions that had formed from prior surgeries and confirm that my left tube was open. The surgery was very successful and my recovery was by far the easiest of all of my surgeries, and the next month we elected to use ovulation medication and a trigger shot. That first cycle I had two really good follicles on my left side, and a few weeks later we were shocked to see a second pink line on an at home test!! I’m now 8 weeks along with a healthy baby and we are so incredibly grateful for Dr. Ripps, Dr. Delaney, and all of the staff at New Life. Every person was kind, helpful, and encouraging every step of the way and I will actually miss going to see them on a regular basis. I was close to giving up the month before we met with Dr. Ripps and I’m so glad I followed my gut and made the appointment. Thank you to everyone at New Life and we’ll see you soon with our little bundle of joy!!
I had high hopes for this place, but was treated like a number. We paid for the whole package workup they offer and got to to see the Dr. Ripps twice throughout the whole process. After all the testing I had to wait a month before Dr. Ripps was able to sit down and go over everything with me. I believe he looked at my chart 5 minutes before our meeting and asked me if we had ran certain tests that were stated in my chart, that he did himself.
This review is based on MY personal experience with this facility...I have read many many reviews on this place and a lot of those were bad reviews and I thought maybe people were mad because they didn’t get the results they were looking for... well they were right. You are just another $$ for them. The staff is super nice and the facility is very clean and comfortable. They ran weekly blood tests on me and multiple other tests throughout the course of almost a year. Nothing was happening and I wasn’t getting any answers. I was doing a ton of research at home and thought I may have endometriosis so I told Dr. Ripps. He insisted on doing all the tests before going that route so that’s what we did. Well they did finish the tests and I was right. But I’ve wasted almost a year!! And thousands of dollars.I did my research and Dr. Ripps practice is covered under my insurance. The only thing my insurance does not cover is Infertility. Dr. Ripps office is called New Life Fertility and Endocrinology but what they don’t tell you is they ONLY file under INFERTILITY no matter what. They called my insurance company claiming everything they are doing is diagnostics (which is 100% covered) however months later, when 96% of the tests were done, they told me I had to pay out of pocket because my insurance won’t cover the cost. I called my insurance and they told me that all the tests were supposed to be covered but their office filed everything under infertility instead of endocrinology and diagnostics so just have the doctor change the code and it will be covered, it’s not a problem at all. When I spoke to Dr. Ripps myself, since his staff told me they can’t change the code, Dr. Ripps said and I quote:” the code is the code. We don’t change the codes here.” He then proceeded to tell me “don’t worry we’ll be happy to set you up on a payment plan and give you a discount since you are paying out of pocket.” With only a few tests left and I was hoping to find out why we weren’t pregnant so, I signed up for the payment plan and finished the rest of my testing. After all the testing was completed and thousand dollars later Dr. Ripps told me and I quote:” you are in the 10% that we’d like to call... the unknown. We don’t know why you are not pregnant. Everything looks good so maybe we should look into IVF.” I told him Again, I think I have endometriosis and I had all the symptoms so he finally agreed to set up a surgery to see but when I asked him about how he was going to code it he said:”the code is the code.” Which translates to $7000-$10,000 out of pocket. I asked Dr. Ripps if all the results say that I’m not infertile why are you filing everything under infertility and his response is:” it’s just what we do here.”That was the last day I set foot in his practice. I decided to have my OB perform the surgery instead since it’s covered by my insurance. I got my endometriosis surgery and I was right. I do have endometriosis. I found another Doctor who is amazing! She looked at all my records and found that Dr. Ripps’ office never even checked my hormone and progesterone levels, which is the basic fundamentals of getting pregnant!! Please explain to me why a fertility doctor who ran weekly blood tests never bothered to check those??I am thankful I got out from this shady practice early but I regret wasting my time hoping and wishing I would get some answers. A doctor is suppose to help people. Especially people who are hoping to start a family. Dr. Ripps uses that hope and dream for a pay day. Shame on him. It’s been months of medications and hormone pills, my progesterone levels are finally normalizing and hopefully soon we will have a positive. Keep trying future parents! Wish y’all luck and happiness!! ❤️
After 2 years trying for a second pregnancy we decided to speak up and accept we needed it to consult with a fertility specialist. We came to New Leaders in fertility & Endocrinology and talked with Dr. Delaney and from visit 1 we were so positively impressed by her knowledge, warmth and understanding. She walked us through all our options, treatments, best path and all! We are so very much THANKFUL to have fall in her hands. We cant say enough about the whole staff! They are so awesome from beginning to end, they made feel safe, cared for and trusted. We now know speak up and accept we needed help was the wisest decision we couldve made. We recommend them from our heart. Now 8 WEEKS pregnant with twins!! Thank you New Leaders!!!!
The entire staff is amazing! From front desk to the physician. They explained everything that would occur. The first visit is all about gathering information. I had some testing done elsewhere, but not by a board certified reproductive endocrinologist. Coming from a medical background, I certainly thought a 2nd opinion was worth it. We set up a diagnostic cycle where I called them to let them know the start of my cycle. They got me in within 2-4 days for bloodwork and an ultrasound (to make sure everything was nice & quiet). A few more visits throughout my cycle were required where more bloodwork, ultrasounds & some other tests were done. These were all little pieces to a puzzle. At the end of my cycle (when I started again), I called again to document the length of my cycle. They scheduled me for a treatment plan where Dr. Ripps took all of those puzzle pieces together & formulated a possible cause & treatment plan. In my case there were no explained issues from the bloodwork & ultrasounds (other than my age, maybe). We decided to do a diagnostic (testing) laparoscopy (surgery). I’m going to be honest, I was nervous. Ultimately the “bowel prep” the night before was worse than the surgery itself. The surgery was a breeze, but I did wake up to a definitive diagnosis of endometriosis. The only way it can be diagnosed is via surgery, where they can SEE it with their own eyes (& a microscope). We started treatment right away, as they had just cleaned up all of the endometriosis during my surgery. We did 6 IUI’s, 3 IVF rounds & 1 cancelled round, unsuccessfully.I left out an important part....I had not taken Dr.Ripps advice at my treatment plan to lose some weight. After all I had friends who were overweight that had babies. I wasn’t terribly overweight, maybe 20-25lbs, but enough to not have my body working optimal. I finally listened! And guess what. My body started working the way it should. I now have a 4.5yo (almost 5 in November) because of all of the love, support & persistence from this office! How can you possibly give up on something that you literally think about every single day! I had some pretty low days & I had some high days. Ultimately persistence, hard work & lots of support got me where I am today. I’m still on their fb Page (5+ yrs later). I still send pictures & I still keep up with the office staff & physicians. I recommend this office to my family & friends as well as strangers in moms group and in a prayer warriors group (for women suffering infertility)!suffering what I went through. If you have questions or want to know something, reach out. I’ll be glad to talk to you & answer your questions. The best thing you can do though, is submit your paperwork online NOW!
As a patient of New Life and set to deliver my first child in December, I felt compelled to post and respond to Tracy Quackenbushs post. As someone who is/was overweight as well an advanced maternal age and had been to previous fertility clinics both in and out of state, I did not want to hear that weight was a factor to me getting pregnant. After much adversity, many IVF attempts, it took Dr. Ripps to make me realize that something needed to change. I never realized how important being healthy was to me getting pregnant and the success of a pregnancy. Dr. Ripps had a very candid and uncomfortable conversation with me and for some time I resisted. I wish I would have listened sooner and taken every word to heart. PLEASE take the advice of Dr. Ripps or any other fertility specialist when they guide you towards a healthy lifestyle and weight loss. I have had the opportunity to reflect on the situation and am beyond appreciative that Dr. Ripps did not suggest lets do another round of IVF without a truthful discussion of weight, diet, exercise, and health. It would have been another wasted round; mentally, physically, and financially. The advice Dr. Ripps provided me and my husband made THE difference in us having a child or not. We, too, are Tricare patients, and the way in which Dr. Ripps and the entire staff worked with us along the way was amazing. I attribute the suggestions and healthy lifestyle he encouraged to be the reason for my successful pregnancy. Physicians have a duty to be honest and practice the best medicine possible and sometimes that involves saying something a patient does not want to hear. To everyone that has posted about their fertility experience, trust me, I feel like an expert in the field, you will not find a better place in the Gulf Coast region than New Life.
Im happy to say because of this clinic my little miracle baby is on the way❤️❤️thank you Dr ripps and all the staff of new life, especially becky🥺😊 she is the sweetest ultrasound tech always have a smile that will light up a bad day. Shes one In a million honestly. She made my visit so much more better and this clinic is lucky to have her there.
Dr. Ripps team at new leaders is one of the best! They helped us incredibly much and made very difficult time in our lives much more tolerable. I would highly recommend their team to anyone struggling with infertility.
These ppl dont care. Please do not choose this facility. Me and my husband started treatment in June until August and Dr. Delaney or the staff never told us any information about our results or why we have trouble conceiving a child. We paid for everything that was not covered by Tricare so we dont owe them any money. I had to call and remind the nurses of test we should be doing. My heart is still thirsty for a child and its been nothing but a waste of time trying for a baby with New Leaders.
They were very nice ppl. They could never give me a real reason why I kept miscarrying. That is what it is. But when they take my fiances bloodwork after they forgot to do a certain part then never call us back. So we call after 3 months then they set us up to get results. Before getting the results I find out Im pregnant on our own. And they did bloodwork when I drove to tell them about it and how do I start lovenox and progesterone because its pretty much the last to try after 7 miscarriages, they call back with results and say the test is positive and to see an OBGYN. and Dr didnt see a need in meds. When i ask what if i miscarry again from not trying that,, they said that is why they say not to get pregnant while doing this.. Then they canceled my next appointment to make sure levels were still rising and dropped me like nothing. We tried on our own because its hard to get ahold of them unless u leave a message and get a call back day or 2 later. Or in the one case 3 months. I guess if they cant give you a reason why IVF is the only way and you try on your own they drop you and wont even make sure levels rise and staying pregnant since you were there for miscarriages... maybe its all just a money thing.
My husband and I weren’t sure what to expect with our first appointment. I was nervous about our journey with infertility. Dr. Ripps was very helpful in explaining our next steps and what we should expect. I can’t wait to see where our journey takes us!
I want to give this place an opportunity to redeem themselves. My wife scheduled an appointment on the 11th for the 22nd. She received a confirmation call for the appointment on the mornining of the 20th only to be called back by their office the afternoon of the 20th to say the appointment time was unavailable but they could see us on the 26th or the 15th of the following month. Not even the courtesy of an explanation as to why our scheduled and confirmed appointment was cancelled. My wife was devastated. Dealing with Infertility has been an extremely frustrating experience for us and instances such as these make it no better. This is not the first instance of unprofessionalism we have experienced with this place but it is the most recent. They should be more empathetic to the people that place not only the trust but their Hopes and dreams in their hands and especially considerate of their patients time.UPDATE to the pointedly worded response I received from the owner: As much as I appreciate a reply, I find the wording you used to be indicative of the indifference this establishment has shown my Wife and I. I suppose that expecting a medical provider to have a strict adherence to appointment times and providing full disclosure regarding all aspects of the process is only an expectation of the patient and not a obligation taken on by the provider. I understand that appointment times arent an exact science but, +15 minutes should be the upper limit of schedule adherence. This was not an isolated incident in regard to appointments and time. The only expectations we had were that we would have more answers than the questions we had when we initially came to your clinic for help 2 years ago... so i suppose you are correct that our experience did not meet our expectations.
I become so upset when I think of what all I went through with this place. Do you know how many times I was told we do not leave until every patient is called back and i would not get a call back? I would have to call multiple times with messages and nothing. Let me tell you I have really good insurance. New Life would tell me my insurance would cover something and then right before a procedure Id owe money. What?? When we started IVF Michelle told us we would be required to put a $2500 deposit to cover what insurance did not but after reviewing ours we would get majority back if not all. She also told us the embyros would stay there for one year or until I was six months pregnant and then I would be responsible in moving them to a permanent facility. Ivf was so unprofessional. When we did the transfer ripps said have a good day walked out and left us there. After a while we had to find our own way out. We ended up having a miscarriage. A couple months later we start another embryo transfer. Two days before they tell me I have to pay another $500 deposit. What? What about my other that you said I would get back. They call back and say that I owe $1000 and I would have to pay that by tmrw in order to do the transfer because they have a $0 balance policy. Im sorry what? How do you tell someone this like that money is just laying around. So we start going in detail about things. First of all some of the stuff they said I owed was from months back so obviously there is no $0 balance policy. My insurance paid for IVF. But they said they wouldnt pay to freeze my embyros and thats where my deposit went. My insurance says they will, they obviously coded it wrong. They still wont send me a statement showing this though. Theyll send statements but my $2500 is not on there and freezing of my embryos is not on there. $750 for yearly storage is though when they told me I didnt have to handle that until 1 yr or 6 mo pregnant. So they talk with Michelle and say theyll waive that and owe me $250. Think we have seen that? Nope. Still nothing showing my $2500. These ppl want you to put deposits and find ways to make more money off you. We paid to have our embryos transferred out of there and to another place who have been amazing and we have not had to pay a fraction to what new life charged us and we now have a beautiful baby girl thanks to how we were treated at our new drp. They helped with the stress you are going through. New Life just puts you in an even worse mental state. As long as they get a sale they are good.
We never had anything but a wonderful experience at New Life. The Drs, the nurses, the front office staff all went above & beyond to make our time there easy & smooth. They verified what our insurance benefits actually would cover for testing and a tiny bit of treatment & held our hands every step of the way. Its hard to give up on your dream when its really all youve ever wanted. After numerous IUIs & 3 IVF rounds, I actually started listening to what was originally suggested of me & started on my healthy journey to lose some weight. My 3.5 year old is here due to the if at first you dont succeed, try, try again method! Dont give up & New Life wont give up on you!
I m not sure what other people experience about doing the insemination at this clinic. This is my first time trying IUI process and yesterday was my day to do insemination i was expected for the doctor to do that process but i didn’t even see doctor got in to the room meet with 2 nurses and yes the nurse did the process without doctor in the room and there is no paper to sign or showing me if the sperm is correct or exactly right name from my husband. I thought that part is important that way i know it is correct or no. It just little concern if this is normal to treat every patient or it just only me. So i want to share my experience here.UPDATE : Thanks for your promptly replyYes you said many patients prefer having a nurse for this but i m not 1 of that person. How could you know what patients preferred when your patients have never be informed.I hope my feedback can make you know how important to be honest and clarify to your patients in advance about WHO will perform IUI.Do not assumed all your patients will be happy with your management.
OMG! IDK where to start BUT I would like to start by thank you God 🙏 for bringing me to meet Dr Ripps and his team 🙌 🙏 ❤So I had my tubal reversal done 4/25/23 & I am now Currently 5 weeks pregnant as of today 🥰 today is 9/14/23... Dr Ripps and his team are amazing 👏 very professional at what they do 🙏🏼 Thank you so much you guys ❤❤🥰🙏🏼
Amazing staff that is super friendly and welcoming! I am new to all of the information and procedures, and that have been very informative and warming to me. I’m very anxious and they always reassured me and made me feel safe during the Zoom online and in-person meetings. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who needs fertility assistance as they’ve already given me so much to look forward to 🤍
Deanna (Tallahassee location) and Kathileen (Mobile location) were my nurses for my first and second transfers. New Life is absolutely PHENOMENAL at what they do. We will forever be grateful to the team at New Life and Dr. Ripps for helping us grow our family!!!
They have been nothing but fabulous during our time with them. Definitely recommend them to anyone. They do their best to make sure insurance covers and let you know up front what to expect to pay. Dr. Ripps is very personable and takes extra time and explains each and every step and the reasoning behind it. Everyone is so friendly and go above and beyond for you.
Dr. Ripps and his staff were phenomenal! I am currently 11 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby. Thank you all for everything! ♥️
Staff was caring and professional. Dr Ripps sat down with us and went over all of our labs with patience. If I were to go through this journey again I would return to this office
Have been going here a year no was told i have pcos. Did a treatment plan with one doctor. Then doctor ripps comes in have to do everything all over again. One day tricare is going to stop paying for this was told to lose 100lbs in a year thats why i cant have kids. Love to know why people fatter than me can have them then. Then today get a phone call for my appointment tomorrow saying i may not be going to because my blood work was not done. Like thats my falt. I hate games and saying u can have kids if u eat right and drop the 100lbs over it
$$$$ thats all its about. They get your money tell you one thing and then once youve paid they say something else. Every visit is about how much you can play. They do treatment plans knowing they will not work to get more money. I totally had faith in them but after today I see it was a waste of time and thousands of dollars. Please go elsewhere. Also I clearly went over my treatment plan before leaving the facility and they had me under the impression of what was included. Now their saying Ive must have went somewhere else and heard that..... and Im like uhhhhh no, I know what was discussed. Im pretty capable of understanding things. I would have never wanted so much $ that I dont have had I know they would turn around and slay Ive must have understood. Guess they only understand money and if your not cashing out,the whole demeanor of the way they talk to you change. Im so sad and I see this dream will never happen for me. Thanks new leaders n staff 👎🏾
Thanks to the staff of New Leaders. You guys truly made our dream come true. If we could, we would have found you sooner!
A reproductive endocrinologist should be able to help patients with conditions such as PCOS. Unfortunately, this office seems to be no help for that. Nor are they help in offering you assistance in finding other specialized doctors. I shouldn’t have to be trying to have a baby to know I have infertility issues and want help for them. Do better. Honestly, this could just be the PCOS going off on this tangent. Regardless, I don’t care for this office.
We are selfpay because the military doesnt cover these types of expenses. $1330 so far and we had an ultra sound, bloodwork and a seman analysis. We will be at $1700 ish before anything is recommended by this doctor.... We hope.Im not sure they ever intend to do anything other than recommend we get a $180 consultation followed by $500 ish in tests to get a consultation to see what else they can test.Every visit has been to convince us to spend more money on unnecessary tests. They have never disclosed any costs before billing. So far everything points to a tubal reversal but its pretty obvious they want to get a bad result so they can recommend IVF.
Dr. Ripps, Dr. Delaney and the entire staff at New Life were so patient, helpful and compassionate going through this process. We would highly recommend them for any fertility issues or questions you may have.
Good luck getting ANY ONE to answer the phone. Been waiting on my husbands results to come back for over 14 days, when they said the time frame is 10-12 days and through the MAIL at that. Why? Like the world is all about technology these days. Upload to a portal, or email the results. I just don’t understand They’re absolutely no help. Been a horrible experience
Horrible place to go through, sadly they are the only fertility clinic near me. My husband and I have felt like we’ve been jumping through hoops just to get through this already difficult time in our lives. This company has been nothing but awful throughout the process, with lies, complete lack of communication, cancelled appointments, and ignorance. I would recommend anyone who has the option to go elsewhere, to do so.
I have called everyday for a week and CANNOT get in contact with anyone !!
Its a money game with these people they wont call you back unless they know they can make money off of you they wanted me to pay 20,000 for eggs went to center for reproductive medicine and can use the eggs we have there judgemental will talk about you after they leave the room have no bedside manner told us to stop smoking ....3 months after quitting went back for a appointment and was told we stunk up there waiting room and was told if we cant quit to not come back rudely when we havent smoked in 3 months spent 3,000 dollars and got nowhere not the fact the extra bills in mail from labcorp TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY DEALING WITH THIS PLACE not the fact havent heard from them since they even made an appointment a different day than we were told in office my guess just to get an extra 100 bucks for not showing up SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!!!
Weve had a great experience with Dr. Ripps and Terri in the PCB office. We trust both of them immensely and I appreciate the fact that they are both straight shooters. Couldnt recommend them more!!
I have only been twice, but im beginning to think its pay to play. Its not like we have a bunch money. We were told to pay for a test that we believed we had already paid for. We even asked the day we left if we paid for the test. We really want to have a baby. Weve only be twice and Im just afraid we will get milked for money.
It took patience but my wife and I had a great experience working with Dr. Ripps and his staff. With a positive outcome.
They have always been very nice and respectful. I never felt judged and they were willing to work with me. The process was explained to me in detail. I appreciate all they did for me.
Absolutely wonderful staff. They are professional, kind and caring. so thankful for them!
Dont go to them! They will RUIN your CREDIT! They dont bill you for services that your insurance didnt cover until a year later. HORRIBLE SERVICE!
Very hard to get anyone on the phone or to get anyone to call you back after leaving a message or multiple messages.
