The people here really helped me even when I didnt have identification or medical insurance card.Furthermore, staff found a way to treat me and help me in less than a half hour. I havent had my identification because I had a domestic violence relationship where all those things were taken for me and they found a way to get me help without violating the policy of the facility.I was really impressed with their professionalism.Im a baby about getting shots and Victoria, the medical assistant; who is young handled me like a boss.Thank you ladies for your empathy and inside and and mostly for your integrity and efficiency.Class act thank you.
Cassandra was a big help to me and my son today. She got us checked in right away. Very friendly and fast. My son is scared of Doctors because of his immunization but the way PA-C Shapiro came in so sweet and friendly he forgot about all his fears. They both also throughly listened to my worries and addressed them. I highly recommend this location! Thank you Ladies for your kind customer service!
I walked in with a cut on my right index finger not knowing if they could really take care of it. Susan is an NP who has spent most of her career in the ER - I was in and out in 35 minutes. Very efficient and quick work. Great customer service from everyone! Excellent facility!
Such wonderful care and kindness was shown during my visit. Exceptionally fast but I never felt rushed. The team took great care of me and made sure that all questions were answered. Best urgent care experience Ive had.
The front desk lady charged me $280 and said it was toward my deductible. I insisted that was incorrect and she looked at me crazy. After paying the fee i was looking at my insurance card and it said $50 co pay. I went back up and showed her and she “still with an attitude” grabbed someone who then refunded me. I wonder how many people she over charges due to negligence. Shady. The nurse was very polite and nice though.
Everything was a breeze. From the quick scheduling, the office hours, the front desk person, all the way to the Dr (Katie) who saw me, everyone was incredibly nice, professional, thorough, quick without being rushed. I had no waiting time. It was like a perfect picture of a visit. I have been to other Urgent Care offices in my long life and nothing compares to this one. Extremely nice experience. I highly recommend it!
Great Place! Process was quick, from check in to being seen by Doctor. All staff were very nice and professional! Definitely recommend this Urgent Care.
Amanda alviz, worst FNP, others may disagree, but she was being very judgemental towards me, and her staff were looking at me weirdly. They did not do anything for my wrist. I had broken it twice, and she says we can not help you here. Sad and very incompetent. Shame to this urgent care. Or whatever it is.
Made a 7a appt in the middle of the night, after sitting unseen in an ER for 3 hours. I was in so much pain! Made it to the spot where i was promptly helped, assessed and given the much needed meds to help me feel better. Everything the NP said about my pain and how long until i had some relief was true. Will def come back here for my urgent care needs.
Simply the best urgent care Ive been to. The whole staff and doctors were beyond understanding and caring. I am a first time mom and they really put me at ease.
I’ve used this urgent care clinic several times. The providers and staff have always been smart and efficient. Special kudos to Susan who is one of the smartest clinicians I (retired hospital administrator) have ever met.
Very rude customer service. I went in for a lab test and got told different results than what Labcorp showed me.The nurse practitioner I talked to over the phone was very disrespectful and rude and couldn’t even answer basic questions on their own lab results. She started raising her voice at me for no reason when I was just trying to figure out my health condition.Very unprofessional.
Honestly not sure why i waste my time with urgent care. They sent me to the ER just for the ER to give me antibiotics (something my sister who works at an urgent care in another state said he should have done first and suggest a follow up if no improvement)Previously i had come just for them to tell me i had a muscle strain after a crash and sent me to PT when after no improvement THEY sent me to get an xray and it turned out i had a fractured shoulder. If you have something other than a cold or bug i highly reccomend waiting for an appointment with your primary doctor instead of wasting your time here
We had a 6:45 PM appointment and due to traffic, we were a little late arriving, and the nurse practitioner and staff were ultra efficient and had us in and out for our High School sports physical inside of 20 minutes. Very professional, kind, and pleasant.
Was treated for a different reason about a year ago and the provider was fantastic and I received excellent treatment. Before my recent visit, I thought to myself, I hope I get the same provider as I had last time and sure enough I did and was so pleased with my overall experience and treatment.
I was in the middle of a commute and had some shortness of breath with wheezing. It felt serious so I stopped in. Was worked in to the schedule without missing a beat. Everyone was professional caring and courteous. And the pharmacy was right next door. Great experience.
I had pain Saturday but still went to work thinking it would go away. It didn’t. I went to go get seen for left side pain from my lower back to my left leg. The doctor wrote me a referral to go to the ER. She was great. I’m here at St Joes getting to the root cause of this, thanks to the doctor. I would recommend this location.
Had an amazing experience here with nurse Susan Eller. Scheduling was easy and they got me back to be seen within minutes of arrival. Susan and her team are truly top tier, I am beyond impressed. Thank you!
The staff cannot be beat. And the service was outstanding and I woke up with an infection that was making my face swell and they got me in there right away. There was an insurance issue. They Take care of that Issue for me, on that 1They took care of it. Great Doctor just cannot say enough about the level of service that I received this morning. Thank you.
The wait was a long, even with an appointment, but overall good experience The provider (Katie) was thorough, kind, and attentive—going above and beyond to address my concerns and find immediate relief.
I highly recommend this location. I’ve been coming here for years when I’ve had a medical situation. Staff is always professional wonderful and quick to responsed if I have any concerns. Thank you to everyone & keep up great job!
From the front desk to the practitioner, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. I was in and out within 30 minutes. I will definitely return to this office in the future.
Everything went really well, from making the appt, the wait time was short, the care and testing, treatments, care and follow up all was thorough and explained. I would highly recommend this location above all others.
NextCare urgent care is always the best no matter what location you choose to visit . The customer service and immediate attention you receive from the minute you reserve your appointment online to the follow up phone call after your visit is one of the many reasons why I continue to come back . Thank you for all that you do.
Well organized and efficient sign in. I booked on line. I was in and out in little the. My care provider was very thorough. I would not hesitate to come back when necessary.
Did a walk-in for my CDL physical everybody was great lotta paperwork but they helped me through it and the doctors were pleasant and efficient
I’ve always had really good service with nextcare. They get me in, don’t have super long wait times, and send the prescriptions over quickly.
So grateful for on time service these days! On a Sunday, I needed to have something checked out. Same day appointments were available, could do everything through an app including insurance upload, and I was seen at my actual appointment time. In and out in a little over 20 minutes. Friendly and informative folks all around. Susan rocks! Excellent work by everyone!
The care providers and front desk girl are wonderful. I will say, though that the building is really hot so if you are running a fever dress light.
Nice clinic, short wait time with book ahead option. Friendly nurses and receptionist, FNP not very personable or friendly.
Made appointment on line. Ck in was easy. PA listened and answered my questions. In and out pretty quick.
While visiting family here in town my Grandson had a fever so we brought him here and the service was very impressive. They saw him right away after getting his insurance information. We only waited about 15 mins and soon saw the best doctor who knows how to help a 13 month old feel as comfortable as possible. My grandson usually gets very scared of anyone wearing a face mask and this doctor was able to check eyes throat ears and nose and his breathing without to much fussing. He let us know there was an ear infection developed and prescribed antibiotics and next thing we were all done and had all our questions answered. Thank you NextCare for taking excellent care of my grandson in such a timely manner putting all our worries to rest. Best place to bring anyone not feeling well ❤️🩹
Awful! Was prescribed a small dose of prednisone for a sinus infection, in which I told NP I have terminal cancer and if I get a full blown sinus/cold it turns to pneumonia since I have no immunity. I needed an antibiotic with that prednisone which he refused to give and now full blown chest cold. Waste of money and time and now I’m so much more sick for no reason! Go to ER this UC waste
I got a pretty deep cut on my hand at work and knew I needed stitches. Its a pretty common occurrence for me, so I begrudgingly drove to the closest urgent care at 40th St. and Camelback. The wait was short and the staff was excellent. Cathryn Sexton was my PAC. Shes very skilled with ncredible bedside manner. She threw in 6 perfect sutures in no time. I get injured a lot and this was the best urgent care experience Ive had. I hope Im close by next time I get hurt. Thank you all so much!
Rosheda front desk admin was amazing, fast, efficient, and well mannered. The provider was diligent and quick. The MA that triaged me was also amazing. Very personable and quick. Everyone made me feel so comfortableGreat experience
This place is very welcoming. The 👩⚕️ doctor was very nice and the assistant too. I am glad I went there for medical issues.
Had a Great experience for having to go to an Urgent Care. The Front Desk check in Lady was very helpful and Friendly. I was seen and Treated in a Way that made you feel more like home than a Dr’s office. Susan Eller was very Professional, and explained a wrist injury term, which I couldn’t even spell. Who knew you have that many bones in one Place. Bad News Friday turned into more of a Happy Hour thanks to her Delivery. A Great Experience. Definitely Recommend.
Such amazing Dr and staff! They are fast, efficient, caring and more.
The staff were kind and timely during my visit. The reception area and exam rooms were very clean and well maintained. Ashley clearly communicated what she was doing during her examination. She answered my questions and recommended a course of treatment.
This is the second time I’ve been to this Urgent Care in the last 2 months. The first with my husband and the second for myself. The staff and Susan, FNP, were amazing in recognizing my husband’s acute, critical situation. As directed, I immediately took him to VA Emergency where he was admitted with Sepsis. Urgent Care’s urgency saved his life and we will be forever grateful.
Seriously! These people are god send! The front desk receptionist is so pleasant and always has a beautiful smile every time I visit! Even on busy days!! I so appreciate that! The doctor was wonderful and also the tech! She made my dad feel so much better! Quick and easy check in and process! Thank you everyone 🙏🏽💗
Please be careful using this company! I was denied service and accused of being hostile/angry due to a preexisting medical condition that I informed every one of. The physician walks into the room and totally ignored everything while being rude and inconsiderate and then sending the manager in who was aggressively getting close and telling me to leave while trying to explain to him I have the entire conversation recorded I wasn’t rude at all. I have reached out to the other manager multiple times via email and phone calls with no response. This is very unacceptable and I expect disciplinary actions to be taken soon!
In and out so fast. Great care and never waited to get called in, vitals taken, then the doctor came in, then they did some tests, reviewed with the doctor again and out in 45 minutes. And I was a walk in.
It was very easy to get an appointment, and do paperwork online. The staff and nurse practitioner were professional, efficient and so nice! I was in an out, which I’m glad as I was on my way to work.
I went in to check on a cough and a fever. Check in was a breeze. Medical staff were amazing and efficient. Took great care of me and other patients.
Katie was super professional, patient and helpful. We didn’t wait long and were very well taken care of.
Everyone was very friendly and understanding. Qmqent right in. Everyting hap I ened so fast.
Id never been to nextcare, I went in for covid testing after isolating for a few days, the front desk staff were professional and nice. We were seen by the MA Jose, and then the nurse practiced, Susan who was also nice and professional. I will consider them first in the future for my urgent care needs!
This location is much nicer and way more organized than the Shea location. I made an appointment and was seen on time. Susan the PA was so genuine, caring, and personable. I will definitely go back to this location even though I live right by the Shea location.
Went to NC on Scottsdale Rd. however, there was a long wait. Front Desk checked other NCs and wait times, and sent me to 40th St and Indian School. That was great. Went there, everyone was fantastic . They gave me gauze and coban for home. Awesome job . Nurse was great, friendly, and helpfulDr. was great and professional. Very helpful and informative.
If you have any sort of medical needs or emergency, I would avoid this place at all costs. We made an appointment and after waiting over an hour after our appointment time, we were told the appointments don’t even matter. When asking how long until we could be seen, we got laughed at and told they only have one physician on staff as if we were responsible. All the while the staff were chatting and laughing as a room full of sick patients were waiting just to be seen. Please do not visit this location if you are seeking timely, polite medical assistance please avoid this place at all costs.
Its always a pleasant experience when I have to go here. I always get sent to the ER, but its just my health issues. They do really listen to everything you are telling them. The wait time isnt long at all. The facility is always clean and smells nice. Everyone is always very nice at this location. Id recommend this Urgent Care over any other ones. Thank you ladies for the overall care experience.
I was treated very well given everything I needed and I am very happy with the camelback office, I will be going back there if I need any medical attention at all. The physicians assistant was amazing and thorough and my nurse was awesome!
Dr. Eller was excellent! Very happy woth the evaluation and treatment plan.
I received excellent and quick treatment in the course of a couple of visits recently. I made appointments, completed paperwork, and checked in online, and I was called back shortly after arriving. Sue Eller, Gabby, Rosheda, and Romelia were professional and kind. I don’t typically leave reviews, but I was very impressed with everything during my visits, especially Sue’s bedside manner, and I’m grateful for the care I received.
I’ve had a fever of 104.6 past few days, so I went to this location at around 2pm 12/16/23 and was turned away due to them not accepting walk ins??? What kinda “medical facility” full of ppl who are supposed to help ppl turns someone with pneumonia away?! There was nobody in the waiting room and it was 2pm, what was the problem?! And before you say hospital, you wanna pay for my hospital expenses? This country’s medical industry is an absolute joke, y’all are hypocrites and I truly hope you never get turned away when being that sick. When tf did people stop caring about others? Oh that’s right it’s not for views or followers on your instagram to let ppl know how fake you are.
The receptionist was nice. I loved the Nurse Practitioner, Susan Eller, she was so sweet and thorough. She made me feel very comfortable and she listened to me.
I received unbelievably great service here yesterday. Only a 20 minute wait. The doctor, Lana & her assistant we’re both excellent. The Dr. explained every test I’d be getting, how long it would take, why, plus explained all the meds, the benefits, the reason why prescribed, the possible side effects, etc. Better explanations than I’ve received anywhere else. Plus I was sent home with a game plan. I feel 100% better & am so grateful for the care I received. Would not hesitate to go back in the event of another emergency.
We had an amazing experience here! The front office staff and MA were both friendly and helpful and Lana Kathib PA-C was so patient and kind with my daughter. I had a better experience here than at my own pediatrician’s office. Very grateful for their help!
I made an appointment for 1:20. I’ve been sitting in the waiting room for almost two hours. There are still two people ahead of me including a man who said he made an appointment for 12:20! He literally just got up and walked out. Unfortunately my issue cannot go unresolved so I’m just sitting here super miserable waiting for the slowest service I have ever received at an urgent care. They just let in a man they knew ahead of everyone who has been waiting here for hours. I can’t even!*Update: three people have walked out, but somehow I’m still waiting. And the guy who just came in and only waited for like 10 minutes and went to the back is still back there. Not fair or professional.
Super efficient, location wasn’t busy but i was in and out of the exam room in under 15 minutes
Took care of my sick 6 month old on new years day!!!!Amazing receptionist, assistant and nurse practioner. They should all get raises and bonuses for working on new years day!!!!!
DO NOT use their Telehealth services. It’s a waste of time. They tell you that you visit needs to be continued in office and all details of the virtual visit will be transferred to the on-site location but that is not true. You have to answer all the questions over and do all the paperwork over again. There is no communication. Doing the virtual visit was like a completely unnecessary step and didn’t do anything to help the in person visit go faster. Better off using Amwell.
Positive experience here. Efficient, I was seen quickly and the check in process on my phone was easy. Susan Eller, FNP was excellent - kind and she explained everything thoroughly.
Great! Visiting AZ and my care was Pleasant and efficient!
Had to have blood drawn and my phlebotomist was incredible!Barely felt a thing
Very good experience. Helpful staff.. short wait. The medical pro who saw me could not have been more professional. Very friendly too. You usually go to urgent care or an emergency room with a sense of dread that you are going to have a bad experience. Not the case here at all.
The staff was very professional and friendly. I applaud Rashida, the young lady who took my vitals and Daniel (FNP). I received 5 star service from each one of these staff members. God bless them for making my visit most memorable and comforting since I was a visitor in Phoenix. True example of how you to sell the company!! Great team!
I am so grateful for the staff at NextCare Camelback and 40th St location. They were quick, thorough and kind. Special shout out to NP Susan for her expertise and stellar bedside manner.
Like the usual, service was extremely good. Unbelievably This is probably the best medical clinic in Phoenix today. There was just no way of me going to any other emergency medical clinic in Arizona. Absolutely no way...!!! PERIOD.!! One more thing before I forget.. Dr Susan is just something else.. quite remarkable..!! She is so good.. its unreal!! Thanks Dr. You are awesome and its very, very much appreciated .!!
As someone who was in healthcare previously, I liked this clinic. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I recommend this place for anyone! Thanks guys.
Clean, small, efficient clinic. I was in and out within an hour. Overall a very pleasant experience for having to see a provider.
I had a good experience at Nextcare. They were very professional and didnt have to wait long. I was prescribed the proper things and gave me a piece of mind, and felt much better that evening.
In and out in 45 mins. Staff Rosheda, Romelia we’re great! Nurse practitioner Susan Zellers, got my sliver (that broke off when I tried to remove stuck well under my nail) in about 10 seconds. Now I can leave town not worried about infection!
Excellent experience. Walked in 45 minutes before close with a hand injury. Front staff was very nice. Chris was very professional and attentive. And Lana the PA was fantastic. While the injury wasn’t fun it was a great experience. Best urgent care experience I’ve ever had. Fast, efficient, professional - 5 star service and environment.
The worst urgent care I’ve been to the staff and the nurse were extremely rude. And the nurse prescribed me.only 5 days worth of antibiotics when 7 to 14 days was the appropriate dosage. I had to go see my general practitioner after all urgent care dropped the ball..
Clean. Quick. Lovely staff. Will definitely go back here!
I dont like to give out bad reviews but my experience was terrible. One star is for convenience of location and the other for the timely fashion of the visit. They took me in exactly on time and the registration process was very easy. Aside from that everything else was not good at all. The nurse had 0 bedside manner, didnt even say good morning, seemed in a bad mood. Then the doctor came in and he also didnt say good morning and was totally apathetic and seemed to not know much of anything. He wasnt even a doctor, he was a PAC (physician assistant). Receptionist was personable. However its the doctors and nurses that count and they completely missed the mark when it came to customer service/beside manner. Whats more is that he had 0 confidence and told me to just go to the ER or follow up with my doctor ASAP. He did absolutely nothing and I ended up paying for it.
The front office was knowledgeable and efficient. I appreciated how she enforced the social distancing which made me feel safe. The medical asst was friendly and quick with my testing. It only took 15 minutes max to get my results. The PA was warm and personable. Id recommend this place.FYI: book an appt online if possible since walk in can take a while
I was seen within an hour from Check in ti actually meeting the PA . Tara was thorough and kind.I will definitely come back and refer anyone to seek care. The young ladies who checked me in were so nice and empathetic. Well Done Next care!
Staff was great. Greeted immediately and seen in about 10 minutes.Intake, the doc and nurse were wonderful. The doc sent me to the ER which was the right move. I had surgery on my arm the next day.
Service was fast, staff friendly & Professional....Dr Kate Sexton was great on answering all my questions, thoroughly and in an understandable way !
I love this office and the staff. They are caring, kind, compassionate, and quick. Susan Eller is just great! I always know I’m going to get great care with her. Great staff at the front and in the back.
Service from start to finish was amazing. I was greeted kindly and professionally as soon as I entered even though you can tell they were busy. I was called back promptly as I had a scheduled apt. I had an X-ray done on an ankle that I had hurt. The X-ray tech and the PA were very knowledgeable and compassionate. They cared for my ankle delicately to ensure they didn’t twist or turn to cause any discomfort while examining the foot. The brace they provided was a life saver. I’m glad they went above and beyond, instead of providing just your everyday band most places would provide.
Everyone was super nice and helpful. The Doctor even gave my baby girl a pedialyte freezer pop and made sure she was feeling a bit better before she left.
The new management and staff for this urgent care is 1000% more compassionate and knowledgeable than the crew pre-Covid. I received quick and efficient care and left feeling I was correctly diagnosed and sent home with a solid plan for my wellness.
Saw me on a holiday weekend, no wait. Dr. Eller and staff were very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and most of all diagnosed and treated my problem
They are friendly and fast and quick. My family is in and out. I will keep goin to this place.
The receptionist was very friendly and professional. I had a very short wait until until I saw the nurse. She got my vitals, and then on to see the PA Brody I was very impressed as to how smoothly the office ran. Brody was very approachable and explained her Diagnosis in terms I could understand. I’m from NC and not going to my regular doctor I was a bit apprehensive on the skill level of a clinic the staff here put me at ease
I highly recommend NextCare Urgent Care. The team was knowledgeable, kind, had great listening skills, and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you NextCare!
I received timely, skilled and knowledgeable care. The staff was friendly and helpful to me. I received personal attention to my symptoms and medical history. Options for addressing my problem were shared along with recommendations and advice. Thank you.
People there were really nice and helpful. I didnt have insurance and they signed me up for their program which saved me a whole hell of a lot of money. Paid less than 200 and for an EKG and a COVID test.
I was a walk in, was able to get in to see the provider pretty easily. Everyone in the office was helpful and kind. The PA, Lana Khatib, answered all my questions and spent a good amount of time with me.
My issues were handled promptly, professionally, and well. Overall, it was a very good experience, and the Doctor Who talk to me was excellent.
The front desk employee and the nurse that checked me in were super nice. The medical professional that checked me out was super nice, I am surprised that when someone comes in with a high level of pain they will not prescribe anything. The nurse that came to end my visit needs major training on customer service she was really rude.
I recently visited this Urgent Care and I am so thankful I did! I honestly have nothing negative to say. It was very clean, I got in and out fast and the nurse and Nurse Practitioner Susan Eller was incredible. She gave me suggestions of doctors to see in the area since I just move to Phoenix, listened to me, took time with me and was really just so helpful. I felt so blessed to see her for my visit and would recommend her to anyone. She helped to get my prescription switched to another pharmacy and so much more. I am glad I made my way over to this office!
This place is awful. They wasted my time and the Dr. when you are really sick, that is the last thing you need. I almost walked out after the horrible front desk experience and then seeing the Dr. was a waste of time. When you are sick why would you want to come down and wait to get no medical assistance.
The wait was longer than I expected, but it was worth the wait. I felt that Dr.McCabe was thorough, confident, cautious and excellent overall. I was visiting from out of state and this location was very helpful for my medical needs.
Do not bother to make an ‘appointment’ or a ‘reservation’. They made it clear to me today that regardless of scheduling it, it’ll still be 90+ minutes. Asked if I can leave and come back and they said no. You’ll lose your place in line. Stated I made the appointment and she clarified it’s a reservation not an appointment so (to her) that means walk-ins patients still go before you.
Very pleasant staff and environment. I understand the wait/appt time delay due to nature of variation of time it takes with patients and possible higher urgency visits. This was no problem given that, and made up for due to the overall good and professional, yet comfortable vibe of this office. Very grateful.
It was my first coming in, but I was pleasantly surprised of the care I received. The staff was great and Dr. Lana Khatib was amazing. She truly saved me from days of unbearable pain and explained everything as to how to continue treatment at home and what to expect.
Every time I visit I receive the best treatment and so does my grandchildren
Outstanding! These ladys that I was blessed to have as my nurses, Doctor and front desk.Truly cared, they were properly cautious, courteous, professional, wonderfully organized! Happy.. and i am grateful for what they have been through and continue to be dealing with as this Virus has not slowed down. Thank you all! Love! Grace! Peace!
Ashley McCabe, PAC was thorough, informative and sensitive to my needs. Often I feel uncared for after leaving a medical office. I left with great confidence I was being treated and cared for in a manner and to a standard, all in her field should strive to achieve. Thank you
I arrived at NextCare Urgent Care in a lot of pain. When I got there, Cynthia was working in the front office. She was extremely helpful, kind and knowledgeable throughout the entire time I was there. Even after my appointment, she went above and beyond to make sure I had all the information I needed to move forward with the next steps. While I was there, I was seen by Aaron. He spent time going through my history and current issue, and discussing options and next steps. I definitely recommend going to Aaron as he has an excellent personality, shows compassion, and is very knowledgeable!
If I could give them a zero star rating I would. The level of indifference exhibited by the staff at this urgent care is unparalleled. They do not respond to emails and do not even try to call using the number. I have been waiting on lab results for three weeks. A patient would be better off using Google to diagnose and treat whatever issues they are facing than see anyone at this care center. Would never go back, never recommend anyone go or do anything with NextCare.
Dr. Eller was so kind and empathetic. She also made me feel heard and comfortable during my visit, which I greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this location.
I was able to book an appointment online and complete all my paperwork prior to getting to the office which was really convenient. They were very quick to room me and help me with my issues, i would definitely recommend!
Pathetic. In brief, it was two weeks ago today that I saw them and *still* I dont know the results of the lab testing they performed.I also had a problem with the prescription they promised to send over - as in Safeway Pharmacy asserted they had *no* record of the prescription when I went to pick it up. Could it have been Safeways error, not NextCares? Sure...but the lengthy string of NextCares failures that followed make me think it was likely on them. And also they seemingly manufactured a problem with my insurance (that my insurance insists was them).1) Saw them Monday, 1/9/23. Had to call my health insurance customer service line because my insurance that Ive had for 9 years and runs on Blue Cross / Blue Shield AZ (obscure, right?) suddenly came back inactive according to these guys. BCBS assured them this wasnt the case; still they couldnt figure out how to successfully run it. Funny, neither me nor my family have had any trouble before, or since.2) Went to pick up RX; no record of it.3) Waited on hold forever to talk to someone who was obviously out of state whos solution was to send the local office a message to retransmit the RX. I said no way - why would electronically transmitting the RX work this time if it didnt work last time? Unless they failed to do it last time? I insisted she call the local office and tell them to *call* the RX in, person to person. Well, that worked. Started my RX on Wed or Thu, not Monday like it should have been. So much for urgent.4) About Thursday I also began wondering when Id hear about my lab work. Called, wasted excessive amounts of time on hold, reached out of state call center, again. Well try to reach the local office for you...but they didnt. Theyll call you back.. But they didnt.5) Five more days pass and I get a follow up call from the out of state call center people. They reassure me that my labs came back, and she has them right there in front of her. Great! Um, no, not great. She goes on to tell me that a provider has to release the results to me, and no one is available. Dont worry, though, they will be calling me...soon. So *they* have the labs, but me - and my PCP - dont? Not helpful.6) That was almost a week ago. No call, no lab results. The RX is gone, now...it was only a weeks course and should have been done a week ago, but due to the delay in obtaining it has only been done a few days. Should I continue with another prescription? They advised me during my visit to follow up with my PCP...that would be their call. But what will they base their decision on? I have no labs to indicate if the RX was appropriate, unnecessary or the wrong pharmacological agent?Urgent care is the easiest form of healthcare to deliver. You have no ongoing responsibility to your patients like a PCP; you reserve the right to turf anything complicated or high liability to the ER, and anything at all specialized you also refer out. As an UC, youre left with the easy pizy cherry picked cases of utmost simplicity to manage. Sadly, my experience would suggest that even that is too much for this organization to handle.Pathetic.
I usually never have problems and specifically come here because of how welcoming the staff typically is, today I walk in and get met the front desk attendant acting like I just kicked a puppy and speaking so softly I resort to partially reading their lips to understand what’s going on, when I ask if I can wait in my car because of the very long wait time I get looked at like I’m stupid and disgusting, I don’t know if they could tell the interaction put me off but they started turning it around when I started walking to my car, given the wait time and that kind of greeting I might just go somewhere else, it’s the holidays and the holidays are hard enough especially when you’re sick and seeking help.
Super fast and friendly, anyone with kids understands the importance of both of those words!
No complaint. I went in nervous, but it was completely fine. Clean, nice staff, knowledgable folks. I had a simple ear infection. Took maybe 20 minutes to get in on a busy Saturday. Truly no complaints. Glad I went and I do recommend it to others.
My visit there went smoothly. A lot easier than I thought, so glad I choose this one and went there. And they showed a lot of patience with me because of my deafness. Staff are very friendly.
Good morning experience at the office. Paperwork for registration could be improved by waiting until paperwork is completed before confirmation of appointment.
Very friendly staff. So thankful they still provide kenalog allergy therapy. Thank you!!!
I had a very short wait to be seen. All three people who helped me were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The doctor listened carefully to my description of my illness and she answered all of my questions. The doctor took the time to provide information about potential side effects of the medications that she would prescribe and dietary restrictions. It was a very good experience during a stressful time for me.
Came in for a deep gash, had a quick check in, and was cleaned and saw the doc very quickly. Great experience, would gladly come back.
This place was great! Other Urgent Cares in the area all had 2+ hour waits, they got me in to see the doc in less than 30 mins. Their self pay rates were significantly less than the competitors rates too. Doctor Messinger was very nice and sympathetic. If I didn’t live out of state, I’d definitely go back. Thank you.
My doctor was awesome and my nurse was named Leia and she was super nice and very pretty. Now that Im newly single I wish I would have asked to to get coffee or something. Will definitely go back in a need help again.
Most times it is very quick and efficient. We had to use it multiple times already and most visits go quickly and are helpful.
Ashley McCabe, PA-C, was my provider and she was wonderful. I felt a little silly because I went in for a suspected broken tailbone, but she was understanding, respectful, and thorough. I appreciated her taking my concerns seriously and setting me up with an x-ray and follow up care.
The lovely ladies up front promptly checked me in. They were professional and friendly. Informed me of my wait time and I was seen within a timely manner. Great location and staff!
Great urgent care! No wait and great service. Definitely recommend going there, especially if you want a caring staff and a physician who listens and makes a quick, accurate diagnosis - so glad I went to this NextCare!
We had to wait a bit even though we had a “reservation”. However, they got us in quickly as possible considering it was 5:30pm. I was there with my 4 year old son and the Receptionist and PA were so great to him and gave him a lollipop on his way out. They even found a pharmacy near the place we were staying because we were visiting from out of town.
We have used Phoenix Urgent Care three times now with the same great experience: clean and comfortable waiting room, efficient and fast check-in with a reasonable wait time. I was in last Tuesday night with my son who fractured his radius; he was seen by Michael, a PA, who was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and caring. We received a follow-up phone call the next day to see how my son was doing. We dont get this service from our primary care doctors. I/we highly recommend Phoenix Urgent Care.
I checked in online and showed up when I was told to. I had filled out my paperwork online so the check-in process was immediate. I saw Charles Larsen, PA who listened to my concerns and provided in depth explanations on what I can do to feel better. I would highly recommend this urgent care. I was in and out within 30 minutes at most. It took my pharmacy longer to fill my prescriptions than my entire visit at this urgent care.
Susan (NP) was so great with my boys!
Staff was friendly and efficient. I was given a test for Covid-19, strep, and flu. I was positive for Covid-19. I asked for a prescription for Paxlovid, due to my husband receiving it a couple of months before and recovering in about 2 days from symptoms. The provider said I didn’t qualify for Paxlovid as I did not have underlying conditions. Over 50 and asthmatic qualifies according to my doctor. I now have to get it through my doc. I thought I would save time coming in to Urgent Care…
This facility and the people who work in it do a great job of assessing and treating a variety of symptoms. The wait time is short and my visits have shown them to be thorough, caring and professional in all respects.
Great experience with staff and Doctors. The only thing I didn’t like was that they do everything on paper instead of digital. I was in there on Monday, filled out all the paperwork and needed to return again on Wednesday. Instead of being able to go to the computer and pull up my information they have everything kept only on paper so I needed to fill everything out again because the information I filled out on Monday was already filed and picked up to be put in some warehouse or somewhere. I have no idea why they chose that methodology for their filing system as it seems very archaic to me. But again, the service was great.
Excellent through and through.Staff were friendly and well informed and promptly looked after my injury and sent me home in much better shape than I had arrived at NextCare Urgent Care.I shall highly recommend them to friends and family.
They are quick and efficient. The receptionist is friendly and knowledgeable and the medical staff are thorough and caring.
The whole intake process was very quick and efficient. However, I did receive some attitude from the PA-C that was seeing me. As one healthcare worker to another, I certainly know that answering “what purpose is this procedure going to do for me” is not polite or acceptable to ask. Having to explain my reasoning and seeing a change in their body language proved the inappropriateness of the question.Times are stressful and I understand one can catch someone at a bad time, but as a patient I would like to see better bedside manner.
I was able to schedule a same day visit, fill out my paperwork on my phone and be seen in very little time. My provider was lovely and told me all I needed to know. I would recommend this location.
It was a quick but great experience. I went in for a covid test. Staff was very helpful and very sweet. They are all working really hard and still providing wonderful customer service. Will definitely come back to this location. Keep up the great work guys!!
We were in on Friday and received information that the provider today said was inaccurate. I also accidentally left my personalized water bottle there on Friday. I called an hour later and left a message that I would pick it up at our scheduled appointment today but it was nowhere to be found. Todays staff was completely different than Fridays. They made a clear half-hearted attempt to locate my water bottle. Both days staff wasnt very knowledgeable on what to do with our group, making it way more complicated than needed. They misspelled a name from our visit Friday and ended up creating a duplicate chart. It would be great if management made an attempt to locate my water bottle that says I love you Nelly on it.
Amazing service a girl named Romelia was working front desk very professional, was in a room in less than 5 mins. Bre who took my vitals very professional and nice very fast as well. Was in and out within 30 mins. Very clean facility would go back to this location again vs the one on 59th
I have been sick to the point of being in bed, for three weeks. I have seen 3 doctors during that time, two prior to coming to Doctors Express Urgent Care. I enrolled online, showed up 20 minutes later, was greeted immediately by the receptionists who took about two minutes to print my paperwork and make copies of ID and insurance cards. I paid my copay after waiting for five minutes, and was immediately taken back. The triage nurse was very kind and made sure that I told the practitioner all of my concerns. Upon taking my vitals, and asking a few questions, he took me to a room. I was in the room for less than 5 minutes when the practitioner greeted me. Not only did I find him, kind, warm, and caring, but he actually took the time to LISTEN to my concerns. He talked to me for a few minutes and said hed like to take a more aggressive approach to my treatment. I had really been struggling to breath and was constantly coughing. A nurse administered a steroid shot for inflammation as well as an in-office breathing treatment. The doctor returned to see how I was doing and explain my prescriptions to me and why he was prescribing them. Twenty four hours later, I feel real relief for the first time in over three weeks! I cannot thank PA Rudy Noriega and all of the staff at the clinic for such wonderful care! Though I dont wish to go to urgent care again antime soon, I am grateful to know I have a great place to turn to, right in the neighborhood!
The receptionist, nurses, and doctor are all very friendly, caring and helpful. I’ve only ever seen Christina Belle, but each time I was there she spent time with me and answered all my questions. As far as urgent care goes, this is my favorite one in the area.
Very courteous and helpful. Great team!
Everyone listened, & was kind & helpful. I am unable to take pain meds, but was sent home with a couple of ice packs. Thank you!
I love this location. My first visit was to get cleared for nursing school last year and I have such a great experience. Now I go in if me or my children are feeling sick and each time has been a great experience. Wait time is not too long when I go and staff is very friendly ☺️
The entire staff was great, the person who stood out was Lana K. She was terrific take charge attitude, patient interaction is reassuringThank you Lana
Absolutely stellar care and service. Extremely competent provider and friendly staff
Very professional, nice, and attentive staff. Best Nextcare in the valley it seems like. It does get very busy and you might have a longer wait time than expected even if you have an appointment, but they do a super job and get you in as fast as they can. To all healthcare workers please know you are beyond appreciated! Thank you Camelback Nextcare!
I arrived at 7:45 pm with a lacerated finger. Everyone was very helpful. PAC, Lana took care of me. She was knowledgeable and friendly. I left feeling confident that will recover quickly.
I completely agree with Brenda Gallo on this place the front staff where great i needed a TB test done as well but the assistant who checked me in the back didnt even come in to shake my hand to greet me was very cocky and rude..he repeatedly told me i was wrong when telling him information i was told for the situation im in,, in which he was WRONG and i was right! he was very rude and arrogant! Would not recommend!
My wife was really ill from food poisoning she contracted at a local Chinese restaurant (thats a whole other story). We got to this urgent care just before it was scheduled to close. They couldnt have been nicer or more accommodating. The care was quick, professional, and compassionate.Best Urgent Care!
Phoenix Urgent Care gave high quality service. I had Dr. Susan and she was very thorough, informative and made me feel better by showing that she cared. Clean facilities, nice waiting room and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend Phoenix Urgent Care.
Try to avoid this location!!!!!The nurses are very rude. The blonde nurse with the tattoos was listening to music slightly loud and spoke to me like I was an idiot. The nurse who took my vitals was like a zombie and the doctor was no help.Im not asking for outstanding service or to treated like royalty. All I ask if to be treated like a human.First and only time at this location. Do not recommend the visit. Youre better off driving a few more miles down the road.
The staff and nurses were extremely helpful, professional and kind. The wait as a walk-in seeking a COVID test was almost 90 mins, which isnt convenient. However, the level of care made up for it.
The staff were pleasant and professional.
Love the staff, cate, and experience, every time!
Very great experience.! Thank you to Susan and the medical assistant and front office staff.! You guys were so amazing and very very helpful. Thank you again.! 🙏🏾
We were in quickly and everyone was helpful and pleasant for 7am. Easy to access forms online. Thanks!
I got in quickly as a walk in. The service was quick, BUT the med tech came in and put a wrap and brace on my foot before the P.A. ever gave me a diagnosis. I feel like the service SAS almost too fast and perhaps not thourough enough.
I cant say enough good things about this Urgent Care. It was exceedingly clean, had a comfortable waiting room, the staff was incredibly friendly, they had me in and out in less than 45 minutes without making me feel rushed, and they seemed genuinely concerned with my well-being. I highly recommend this location!
Everyone was polite and professional. The Dr. was caring and treated me very kindly. I would recommend this facility.
Caring medical provider. Helpful person at check in. Not a long wait.
I recommend this ER/urgent care organization to all. Everything is fresh and clean. Staff are friendly, personable, professional, and get you in as fast as possible. The doctors are superb, especially Susan Eller. She is the kindness doctor, able to DX quickly, listens to you and solves the problem. Jacque Wright/Jerry Foster We have always had a good experience here at this location.
Thanks God for Urgent Care. Every time I need to go there I feel the Doctors are truly doing an excellent jobNo matter what my health problem is, I know with Urgent Care I am in good hands.
I really liked this location. Although I still had to wait an hour (with an appt time), the PA, Lana K was really kind and efficient. I would definitely go back.
Friendly receptionist, quick service and nothing but praise for the Dr I met with. She made me feel like I was the only patient in the office, and went the extra mile explaining all my options. Would give ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆s if I could!
Yikes. Made an appointment online. Had to wait a full hour after appointment time to be seen. Very slow service. Very nice PA but not worth the wait for a sports physical. With all the urgent care options these day, we will look elsewhere.
The guys/gals over here are great. When the medical imaging company couldnt get my images faxed over, Alexis reached out on her own and made sure I got my results reviewed before the afternoon was over. You cant ask for more out of an urgent care location. Thanks to all who helped.-Forest
Brought my 3 y/o here refuse to go to banner urgent care near me we got seen very fast and the provider was awesome her name was Bronte my daughter was in a ton of pain she had bilateral ear infections and she was so gentle and kind we were in and out within 45 from start to finish my rx was ready even as I left. Highly recommended
I was so upset when I came in after feeling awful for the last week or so. I had no idea I was in such bad shape, and was pretty emotional. I saw Lana Khatib. She took wonderful care of me, made me feel so much better about my situation and gave me just the right meds. I regret not going sooner.
I made an appointment online on Sunday night and brougt my son in at 8am Monday morning to be seen for an earache. He was seen quickly and the staff was phenomenal, especially the PC, Bronte, who quickly diagnosed and treated his condition. I highly recommend this NexCare location.
This place was a complete waste of my time, money and energy. If I could have given zero stars I would have, but the lowest option was one star. My doctor recommended I go to urgent care because she could not get me an appointment and it was Friday afternoon. She felt it was important that I be seen that day and not go through the weekend with the symptoms I was experiencing. I called ahead and was told there were only 2-3 people waiting. I asked if I should still go ahead and put my name on their call ahead waiting list and was told I didnt need to. I arrived at the facility 35 minutes later and the waiting room was completely full. I was told the wait would likely be about 45 minutes to an hour. My husband actually had to wait outside because there wasnt enough chairs for us both to wait inside. This should have been our cue to leave and seek out another option. Sadly we stayed. I waited for about an hour before being called back. Vitals were taken and I was told to go wait in the crowded waiting room again while they got a room ready. Once I was called back to the examination room, I waited another 30 minutes in there until the doctor arrived. She immediately told me sheDidnt know what she was going to be able to do for me and questioned why I came in. I told her I had come due to my regular doctor wanting me to be seen due to what we assumed was the stomach flu lasting 7 days. I told her I thought perhaps they were concerned about dehydration. She looked at me and said, Well your pulse is 88 so youre not dehydrated. I didnt realize this was the ONLY clinical indication of dehydration. Long story short, she said she was used to treating in an ER environment so she was going to do the same with me. She briefly touched my abdomen and that was the extent of her examination. She said she was going to have some blood drawn for labs and thought perhaps I had c. Dif so she also wanted me to bring a stool sample to the lab. She then left the room. Approximately another 30 minutes pass and in walks a tech with my discharge paperwork, a container for stool samples and a lab sheet. I told him I was under the impression blood work was going to be drawn there in the office and he said, Well you have to go to the lab to drop off the stool sample anyway. I suggested that at least we could get the labs started since it was Friday and I didnt want to wait the weekend to get things going. He said, Well you wont get any results until Monday anyway. Hes right, I wouldnt have gotten results until Monday, but I would have at least gotten the results then. Instead I had blood work drawn on Monday and will now wait additional days until we get results. After spending 2.5 hours and a $100 co-pay, I walked out with a diagnosis of diarrhea (as if I didnt know I already had diarrhea) and a prescription for Zofran (which I told the doctor I already had at home). My regular doctor was able to see me first thing Monday morning and guess what...The problem is a bit more involved than the stomach flu. Maybe we would have known this and I wouldnt have spent the weekend feeling horrible if I had gone to a different urgent care. Do yourself a favor. Go somewhere, anywhere else if you need medical attention!
Dangerous and DishonestI went to the NextCare on Camelback on Thursday morning to do a Covid test with my son. I was given an appointment and told he could get the rapid text that morning. When we went into the room the medical personnel discouraged our request to have a rapid test done, even though that was what I had asked for and that was why I was there. She assured me MULTIPLE times that my sons results would still be ready within 24 hours. It is now TWO AND A HALF days later and we still do not have our results. This is not only dishonest, it is dangerous.UPDATE - As of Monday morning, a full FOUR DAYS after having the nasal swab, I still have not received any results from the test.
Great experience! Front office staff and clinical staff were courteous and professional. Going to urgent care can be stressful and unpleasant this experience was experience was neither!
I booked an appointment online. Once I arrived, it took less than 10 minutes before I was seen by the doctor. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. A very pleasant and professional experience.
Quick , efficient, thorough and has xray. Great choice for smaller emergencies & quick check ups, and easier than trying to make an appnt w ur PCP if u need to be seen today & not in 3 days.
The entire staff was welcoming, efficient, professional and we felt cared about as well as well-cared for. We appreciate having such an excellent emergency care center nearby.
Made appointment on line. Got right in. Nurse and dr were personable and answered questions. Got what we needed. Thanks.
Made appt for 11:30, got there at 11:15. Was in the treatment room by 11:30 and out the door by 11:45. Great experience!!!
Excellent customer service!! The physician assistant was really great! Her diagnostic skills are phenomenal and she is very kind, as well! I highly recommend her and this location!
Took my Dad in to be seen! Staff was extremely friendly and made my Dad feel so comfortable.
Quick and easy; got my COVID test results the same day, which exceed my expectations. The staff was friendly. Great job!!! I would recommend this location to my friends and family.
I had an ear ache and it turned out it was a build up of wax. They cleaned both of my ears out in less than 10mins, checked me over again amd I was on my way. Very pleased with the staff
Super fast, super friendly and I was well-taken care of there. For sure I’ll be back, but I would recommend that you try to time it when an Orange Theory class isn’t in session because parking was very difficult! Just a little tip.
Was beyond impressed. They had me in and out in under an hour and took good care of me. Answered all my questions and the Doctor took time to explain everything.
Very friendly and professional Staff. PA Ashley McCabe is very knowledgeable and thorough. She explains things well and answers questions intelligently, making certain one understands and leaves without any further questions. I recommend the Camelback location highly.
I came into this facility and after a two hour wait, I was ushered into the back and went through all the usual tests and what not. After they finally made a diagnosis, they told me I should go to a specialist, which would be available in two weeks. I begged for more information about the condition and when I could expect it to get better. They shrugged and said I need to talk to a specialist. They literally did nothing to help me. I would highly recommend staying away this doctor shack.
We got an appointment quickly and easily and waited less than 10 minutes. The PA was great!
Close to where I live. Friendly. Professional. Especially the female doctor I saw today she was fabulous. I wish all doctors were like her!!!! I was there Jan 6th 2021 at 5:30 pm.
Low wait times and very professional staff. Staff was immediately concerned with the amount of pain the patient was in and treated him quickly.Office areas were clean as well!Everyone on staff was friendly and professional and took the time with each patient.
The girl who took me back to get my vitals and the doctor were both amazing and super accommodating. It is rare to see that in a dr’s office these days.
Urgent Care is there when you need them and you can call to make an appointment. They are professional, knowledgeable and just all around nice people. ✌🏼
I received competent and compassionate care at the Camelback location from the moment I checked in until my visit was completed. Im really happy that I selected this urgent care center.
I was a walk in and waited maybe 15 minutes before I was taken back. That wait was maybe another 15 minutes and the staff is great. Lana is absolutely awesome! VERY kind and sweet.
My visit was fast and efficient. PAC Lana Khatib was caring and knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed. I have visited this location many times over the years and always had a good experience
Always nice and helpful! The staff got my kids school physicals done in a flash!
Great team. Always appreciate their compassion.
Very professional and on time. Made my appt 15 min prior and when I arrived on time I waited 90 seconds and was in and out in 20 minutes!
Professional and positive demeanor. Very efficient and thorough. I would highly recommend this location based on my interaction with the receptionist, medical assistant, and the PA. They were all excellent!
It was quick and thorough. Susan was great! Everyone was very nice. Would reccommended.
I didnt get her name but the lady at the front desk was really nice and helpful on everything. The service I received was great. They already knew it hurt so they were careful. It was best visit I didnt want to go to lol thank you
I was able to book an appointment online for 30 minutes out. Everyone there was so nice and helpful before and during my appointment!
