I’m so happy to be a patient at Seven Hills. Scheduling, communication and paperwork are so much easier than with traditional care. Dr Arnold is wonderful as well as the other team members who support her. They offer nitrous for ob/gyn care, low cost medication, and more. It’s a welcoming and comfortable environment.

I’m just an International student (F1), so I don’t have any financial aid like Insurance or anything like Ameican. But the expense to get gender affirming care and hormone replacement therapy is still cheap. My doctor is so kind and listen for what I want. Feel so lucky I chose this place.

Seven Hills is by far the best practice Ive ever been to. Dr. Arnold is an absolute treasure. She has helped me immensely over the past year. Seven Hills is such an open and welcoming environment. As a fat trans man, I have never once felt like I wasnt being listened to at Seven Hills. Caci is amazing! Everytime I have to get blood work done here, she is easily able to calm my nerves. Shes awesome! Honestly, everyone on the staff is amazing. Highly reccomend this practice!

After avoiding care for years, I am so incredibly grateful to be a member at Seven Hills. Ive only had two appointments so far, but they were both phenomenal. Dr. Witt, Nurse Caci, Davis, and Katie made my most recent appointment as painless as possible. They were totally okay with a friend holding my hand during a GYN procedure, and the administration of the nitrous oxide made everything so much easier. The care here is exceptional, and healthcare providers everywhere should look to Seven Hills to develop their standard of care.

Excellent bed side manner from all staff members in a warm and relaxed environment. Each employee thoroughly explained the steps they would take while interacting with me and were sure to give me several opportunities to ask questions. Working with Seven Hills Family Medicine was an exceptional experience all around.

7 Hills is the best primary care practice I have ever gone to. They truly care, are 100% fully accepting and celebrating of diversity, and are understanding and listen so carefully to those of us who may have Autoimmune/chronic illnesses that often times go unheard.

Seven hills is staffed with very kind carong people with mindfulness toward informed consent on every procedure. They take the time to answer all of your questions and help you without any undertones of judgement. Love this place!

Waiting period was a bit longer than usual ,but i completely loved my experience! I wish i couldve taken Katie home with me she completely was there by my side and gentle. She literally prepped me the whole time and was so nice. The RN i cant think of her name she asked me to stay until i was able to leave and recommended great food to me that was close by. The doctor was quick and fast. I loved her completely!

Great quick help for services. Compassionate doctors and staff. Theyre quick to resolve any questions that come up as well through the communication portal.

Had my first visit there, and unlike traditional doctors offices, you actually feel heard here, and that your doctor can take her time.

Just as soon as I started as a regular client for PCP services, I found myself in need of their abortion service as well. They saw me extremely fast, the appointment was quick and sensitive, and the procedure went off without a hitch. I have had to have an abortion previously in life and took the medication orally which caused me extreme nausea and vomiting. At Seven Hills they recommended I take them vaginally instead of orally and I suffered no nausea! Every part of rhe procedure went as smoothly as one could hope. Their PCP services have been great as well. I strongly recommend Seven Hills especially if you are LGBTQIA+, POC, or have had bad experiences with the medical establishment previously.

This is medical care as it is supposed to be. As it once was. Starting with Katy, the office manager, through everyone else I met they are welcoming, professional, and just a delight. Dr. Arnold is exactly the same. A doctor which takes the time to know a patient is a rare thing indeed. Not only did Dr. Arnold take the time to inquire about my health, but also about the quality of my whole life. I cannot put enough positive stars on this review. Best MD experience I have ever had.

In the fall, I put my feelers out for an affordable and inclusive physician at a time I was without insurance (and as much as I love and support PP they were no longer meeting my needs). Seven Hills/Dr. Arnold was recommended to me by a friend and has exceeded all expectations. Dr. Arnold is very competent, inclusive, and makes herself accessible to her patients. The customer service is second to none. I am now insured through my employer but, honestly, the Seven Hills membership fee has already paid for itself and is still cheaper than the co-pays and deductibles Id have to pay with my insurance at another practice, so Ill be sticking around.

Dr. Arnold is great! She always carefully listens to my concerns and makes sure I’m an active participant in treatment decisions. She responds to messages quickly and has been readily available for appointments when needed. All of the staff I’ve interacted with have been friendly and helpful as well!

Dr. Arnold is amazing. Have not been to a doctor in 20 years and felt immediately welcomed and at ease after one meeting. The rest of the staff is also fantastic. Dr. Arnold is your favorite doctors favorite doctor.

I just got an abortion here and the ladies are all really nice and caring. I originally came a day ago for the surgical abortion but my cervix wouldn’t open up for them to do the procedure. They didn’t want to damage anything so they stopped the procedure, gave me pills to open my cervix up, and had me stay another night in Richmond to come back to the clinic the next morning to see if my cervix would open up. I came back, and they were able to complete the procedure! They were there every step of the way and made the process comfortable and easy. I was under a lot of stress due to the guy I was talking to not being there for the procedure and going from “I want the baby” to “Im talking to someone else so abort the baby”….He even told me to drink liquor to cause a miscarriage, so having people that were there for me was really helpful. Would recommend this clinic to everyone looking for an abortion! -Naomi Stewart

I have had several chronic health issues since I was young, and therefore have had many physicians over the years. None of them compare to Dr. Arnold. First, she meets you where you are on your medical journey. I never felt bad about something I should’ve or shouldn’t of had done while I’m talking with her. She explains things thoroughly, using clear and understandable language that I can follow - and then makes sure I understand it before we’re through with our session. As a queer person of size, I never feel wrong or judged by her as I have with so many other providers. She’s amazing at helping with long-term planning, but also is so calm and reassuring with urgent needs. And most importantly (to me anyway), she’s hilarious! Levity is so important to me, and she delivers. I recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Not to be dramatic, but my first visit with Dr. Arnold was actually life changing. Ive never felt comfortable with a doctor before, but she made me feel totally safe and at home. She actually listens and cares and is extremely knowledgable and warm. The transparent and affordable pricing also means I finally feel like I can take control of my health without going broke. I am new to the area and my new job doesn’t offer health insurance. I needed to find a doctor with some sort of plan that I could count on for care. A friend recommend Seven Hills and I am so thankful!! Dr. Arnold has proven to be the best, most caring, knowledgeable, and professional doctor I have ever had! In these times, bed side manner has been lost among many physicians but she was wonderful - she took the time to listen, to get to know me, and to help me feel comfortable with my concerns. Im a new patient of Dr. Arnold and Im very happy to have her as a GP! Our first visit was an hour long and she learned about my whole medical history. Ive since reached out to her about trying a medicine to help with my chronic illness. She researched the medicine and got back to me with a very well thought-out response (and she included her reasoning). Its so nice to be able to get help without always having to make an appointment. Also, I feel really good about being part of a practice that upholds values that I support (expanded access to care, inclusivity).

Dr Arnold is really someone who cares for everyone. I am able to message her with any questions and theyve always been answered super quick. I feel 100% comfy with her on all my trans care needs. I will no longer go to the VA Healthcare System ever again.

I just moved back into the area and had The pleasure of meeting with Dr. Arnold for primary care. She is approachable, knowledgeable, and really takes the time to meet with you to discuss your concerns and needs. I am recommending this practice to all of my friends and family.

Seven Hill Family Medicine has truly saved my life in a lot of ways. As a nurse I am very intimate with the ways healthcare still discriminates against people of color and members of the LGTBQIA+ community. Especially trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people. As a non-binary person, it has become so difficult to have providers fight for the gender affirming care that I need to save my life. Seven Hills helps me with my general healthcare, my mental health medications, and my gender affirming care. All for a price I can afford with access to a pharmacy and labs all in one convenient location. Dr. Arnold, Vincent, and the rest of the team have provided me with resources and support that I never thought possible in the healthcare world as a non-binary person. I cannot say enough good things about them and the care they provide. The quality, the affordability, the kindness, and just the general compassion that these fine people have for the work they do is inspiring and much like for me and so many others, life-saving. I’d stake any amount of money to tell you that this is the best healthcare you will get in Richmond and quite possibly anywhere in the U.S. right now. Thank you Seven Hills Family Medicine.

Dr. Arnold (and Seven Hills in general) is amazing. Ive described it literally as the kind of care which could be life-changing for people. So if ANY of the below scenarios sounds like a fit for you, Id encourage you to reach out to Seven Hills with a patient inquiry.1. If you want to be able to text your doctor while youre on vacation, have a quick chat to confirm your symptoms, and have a prescription called in right after, then Seven Hills is right for you. I was pretty sure I had a UTI, and not only did I get quick and easy support from Dr. Arnold (wherein she trusted my reporting and did not require urinalysis for a straightforward diagnosis), but she checked with me about my antibiotic preferences (eg. youre on vacation, do you want an antibiotic that allows you to still drink? or do you want a faster-acting antibiotic option?).2. If you want a doctor who has the time to listen to you and get to know you, so that if you say this hurts in a really weird way they know youre not exaggerating, or know what is normal vs. weird for you, etc. then Seven Hills is right for you. Ive had two emergency procedures in the past, both due to my doctors at the time downplaying the symptoms I reported. With Dr. Arnold I know that wouldnt be the case.3. If you want a doctor who is gender affirming, to whom you can talk freely about your identity and be 100% heard and seen, Seven Hills is right for you. Because the ways that I express and celebrate my gender do not fit neatly into cis nor trans boxes (afab and female with testosterone and double mastectomy, happy this way for over a decade), I havent felt comfortable in medical settings before (even in Boston) - but I do at Seven Hills.4. For that matter, if you want a doctor who is queer affirming, and preemptively acknowledges that you might have had a rough weekend (on Monday, Nov 21st, 2022), then Seven Hills is right for you.5. If you want a doctor who will say Im not sure about that, but Ill talk to this person and read these things and get back to you then Seven Hills is right for you. I dont want a doctor who cares about looking like they know everything; I want a doctor who is transparent and knows what they dont know in addition to what they do.6. If you think the US health system and/or health insurance industry is problematic and broken, then Seven Hills is right for you. First, you dont have to use insurance for them. Theres no copays for visits, although some specific procedures may have costs - I think I paid like $5 for labs w/o insurance. The monthly fee is not covered even if you do have insurance (nor can it be paid with an FSA, although other costs like labs should be reimbursable through an FSA), but if you want, they can bill labs to your insurance, and they can send prescriptions to your pharmacy, although its often cheaper to pay Seven Hills out of pocket and avoid the industry markups. IMO it is refreshing and reassuring to pay directly for my care.7. If you want flexibility in how you see your doctor, Seven Hills is right for you. You can call, text, have in-person appointments, or have virtual appointments. Its based around your needs and preferences as a patient, which as a busy (and often phone averse) person, is just awesome.Seven Hills would only NOT be right for you if:- You like waiting 7 days for a response to your message (at Seven Hills in my experience its usually within hours except on weekends, and Dr. Arnold will be clear and transparent about expectations).- You like waiting 4 months for an appointment (at Seven Hills you can get an appointment next day or sometimes even the same day).- You want to visit a labyrinthine office with sculptural water fountains, multiple waiting rooms, and an exotic fish tank (Seven Hills is currently in a temporary space, and its a tiny practice - youre getting individualized direct patient care - so it might not look like what youre used to. But to me, having direct, informed, affirming, patient-focused care is more important than the trappings of the office).

This is the best primary care i’ve ever had! Dr Arnold has been super responsive and helpful for me and my family, from help with nutrition to prescriptions to liaising with specialists. Im truly grateful to finally have this kind of excellent care here in Richmond.

I was uninsured and didn’t think I could afford proper healthcare, Well, being a lifelong asthmatic, I was a little skeptical, in the very beginning that Sevenhills could help! And then I met Dr. Arnold! I thought I knew about my own illness what a mistake, Dr. Arnold educated me more about asthma the very first day than anyone has in my whole life! Within a matter of a week or two we had change medication that I’ve been taking for several years and got on a better medication on a regular regiment!
