I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Armstrong. She was truly incredible throughout my egg freezing process. From the first consultation, she made sure I understood every step, answered all my questions with patience, and helped ease any concerns I had along the way. Her knowledge, professionalism, and compassionate care gave me confidence and comfort during what can be a very emotional and personal journey. I felt fully supported at every visit, and she and her team went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. If you’re considering egg freezing or any other fertility-related treatment, I highly recommend Dr. Armstrong. She is truly one of the best

I cannot say enough good things about Kindbody! After struggling for some time, their knowledgeable and compassionate team (especially Dr. Bendikson!) helped me achieve the dream of becoming a parent. From the initial consultation to the ongoing support, they made the entire process smooth, personalized, and reassuring. The staff is professional yet warm, and they were always available to answer any questions. I truly felt cared for every step of the way. Thanks to Kindbody and all the wonderful staff, my family is growing, and I am forever grateful for their expertise and dedication.

This is my second time using KindBody. Both experiences thus far have been amazing. The clinic is friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. They are quick to communicate with you over the patient portal and informative. They are able to schedule appointments within a timely manner, and they have one team working with you, so your care is consistent. Their pricing is fair and they offer financing too! 10/10 recommend!

Amazing experience with Kindbody! Dr. Armstrong and her team were phenomenal! The Kindbody portal is well organized with great resources for education/background information. From the get go you are assigned a primary nurse who is in constant communication from beginning to end. They were extremely thorough with instructions and responsive in a timely manner. Part of my care was through outside monitoring and they were prompt and fast in getting me all the documents needed for the outside monitoring process. The office is amazing, from aesthetics to professionalism - everyone from front desk, phlebotomist, ultrasonography, embryology team were fantastic, kind, and well prepared.Dr. Armstrong is truly excellent - clinically exceptional, positive and warm, patient with all my questions, and cared for me both as a patient and person. IVF can be an anxious time, and she was a constant source of reassurance and bright energy. From the initial consult, she was incredibly thorough in addressing the overall process, explained reasoning for labs/ultrasound/testing, provided background info of the science behind egg freezing/retrieval, and always reachable when I had questions. She was extremely on top of her patients, always knew what was going on, and would go out of her way to expedite time sensitive matters. As her patient, I felt safe, well cared for, and trusted her judgement 100%. Cannot recommend Dr. Armstrong and Kindbody enough!!

My experience with Kindbody has been nothing short of exceptional. My husband and I struggled with fertility issues for a couple of years before finding Kindbody. Our beautiful son is now 14 months old and Dr Bendikson and her team are our angels. They really held our hands thru what can be a very emotional, exhausting and frustrating experience. As a woman I’ve never felt more respect and compassion from a doctor’s office. Dr Bendikson, we love you and we’re so grateful to you and all the nurses and admins at Kindbody for making our dreams come true!

I loved my doctor, but I found the portal and overall process to be very confusing and time consuming.I understand that since Kindbody is run like a boutique clinic, you only ever see your dr during an initial consultation and then during the day of retrieval. It would be nice to have the opportunity to ask the dr questions live during the visit. However, you do have the opportunity to ask the nurse any questions each time you go in.Portal messaging was very poor with response time and was usually past the stated time frame. I would even call the customer service #, leave a message and never receive a call back. I think I only ever received a call back once during my entire cycle.I have been trying to reach someone in the billing dept regarding my remaining balance that was not used for my last cycle. Even the contract I signed stated the unused balance would be credited. To this day, I have not received an invoice showing how the charges were applied and never received a refund for the remaining unused balance. I dont plan on moving forward with my second cycle through Kindbody, and have been trying to request a refund.Going through a cycle is already stressful enough, and I should not have to add stress by trying to navigate communication and billing.

Avoid at all costs! They like to double-bill you and your insurance so they can pocket the extra. Absolute scam artists! Plus you better hope you dont have an urgent matter to deal with because you can spend literally 6 months calling, everyday, multiple times a day, with multiple voicemails and no one will call you (or your insurance company) back. Then if you can get them to actually email you back, they switch to their own messaging system. Then they can claim the issue is resolved without actually doing anything and close out the conversation. People who go to doctors like this are already dealing with enough, we dont need new age Santa Monica scam artists in a fancy office trying to swindle us for more money.EDITED TO ADD: Its funny how you can call, email, and private message for 7 months to no avail, yet 2 days after posting a review, now theyre all ears. Too little, too late. If your billing department cant do its job, then maybe dont be in business

The Santa Monica Kindbody clinic was a great experience. From my initial consult, Dr. Kristin Bendikson was so kind and caring. She answered all my questions, and has a way of making you feel very comfortable in an intimidating process. The clinic itself is very nice and clean. From my phlebotomist to my sonographer, each person was so sweet. A fertility journey isnt easy, but they do all they can to make it easy for you. Before you start, there are a ton of pre-recorded videos and reading materials you can dig into so you are ready for all the injections when they arrive. I felt empowered to manage the process knowing my doctor and nurses were just a text/call away. Thanks!

The staff are very friendly, educated and very helpful. The process itself is a bit annoying with all the shots and it gets quite uncomfortable at the end but the results are promising. The facilities are very calming and the equipments are set in a way to make you as comfortable as you can get for such a procedure.Overall if you follow instructions given to you you’ll get through it quite easily. The only thing to keep in mind is that you can’t go to work the next day as mentioned on the website and some documents, you definitely need at least a couple of days to heal properly before you can get back to work. Especially if you need to stand or drive.

I am writing this review under a fake name because I feel like they are holding my eggs hostage and I dont want that to be compromised. But for all who are reading - if you want to have a smooth, worry-free experience, look elsewhere! This IVF journey is such an emotional time; you are pumped with hormones and are sensitive. Anything wrong adds extra stress. I am typically a very calm person, but they stressed me out every step of the way.I will start with their general office. If you have to dial a number with 20 prompts, and you have to select Santa Monica twice - that should already be a red flag. They dont have an easy way of getting in touch. No one has 2 minutes to listen to prompts. You can never get in touch with anyone immediately, and messaging is easier, although you do have to wait. Their after-hours nurse responded to me once out of many times I reached out.Regarding the doctor - there is no doubt she knows what shes doing, but heres my problem. When I showed up, I was asked how many kids I want to have. I answered 2. I was in between two procedures - IUI and IVF. This was my first time doing it. I didnt know what questions to ask. I wish I had been guided. The doctor went on and on about how IVF is more reliable, and how I can actually use the same eggs in the future, how I can test my embryos for any issues, and that it has 95% accuracy. Everything sounded so easy and beautiful.Once the procedure was done, they told me if I want to have a second child, I need to go through this again. I had told them about wanting to have two kids. No one said I might have to do it twice. Not to mention, the doctor described EVERYTHING as if it were one procedure and everything was part of a plan, just for me to find out that everything is extra. My medication was messed up. I started the journey without needed meds; they gave them to me later because originally the prescription was not sent. I dont know if this influenced my egg quality. The most stressful part is billing. All the complaints you see about their messed-up billing system are absolutely true. I received the price for my procedure 2 days before the actual procedure when I had already started. This was the first shocking point. They gave me a price list but billed me higher for absolutely every single procedure. So I had to spend weeks going back and forth until they fixed it. It was a lot of unnecessary stress. Moreover, over the phone, I was told that I would have a year of free storage. When the contract was sent, it specified only 4 months. When I asked why the information was different, I was told whatever is on the contract is what I get. When I was ready for a second procedure, the price on the contract was $100 more. When I asked why, they told me the prices were not updated before. But Im checking now, and the prices still show what they showed, so why I was billed more is questionable. This is not me being upset about not having a baby and the way the nurse delivered the news; I can get over that. But today I got bills for the whole procedure that I finished and paid for. This just shows me how poorly this office is run.By the way, the statistics that the doctor gave me based on their formula are different from what their website says. Also, they claim to have the highest success rate, which I doubt is true. Everything is inflated here just so they can get your business. Considering how there were so many mistakes with billing and medication, I can only assume they made mistakes with embryo creation and implantation.I wish I had gone elsewhere. And there is no one in this office to help you. Some people, if you ask questions, just stop responding because they dont know how else to lie. You dont have to listen to just one review, but read all reviews to find out we all have the same issues, and you will too.

I loved my experience. I went to the LA area. The team is so kind and on it from the RE to the tech people. When I did the egg retrieval the whole team were female and they were all so kind. The anesthesiologist was checking on me constantly and made let know what was about to happen. They cared for me the whole step of the way. The communication was top notch. Any question I had the doctor or NP answered very quickly. I really felt like a patient and not just a client or number. The doctor gave me the best protocol for DOR. I am a poor responder anyway, but from what I read she did the right things that was unique for me. Dr. Sundheimer is amazing. You will be in good hands with her no matter what.

Had a terrible experience with KindBody, which is especially unfortunate given how sensitive the work they do is and how vulnerable their clients are. I went to KindBody a year ago for fertility support and began the emotional process of egg freezing. At one of the initial appointments they recommended a genetics test that they assured me would cost no more than $200. This is because that is the out-of-pocket rate, and though they would check my insurance to see if it was covered, worst case scenario is that insurance does not cover it and Ive paid the $200. I paid, and a few months later received a bill for nearly $9,000. KindBody assured me it was a mistake and would be resolved, and then I received a bill for almost $700.The genetics testing conpany said that they needed KindBody to confirm with them that I made the out of pocket payment. KindBody said they saw I made the payment, but were having issues generating a receipt but would resolve the issue ASAP. Despite multiple calls and apologies from KindBody, despite no fewer than three assurances that I would hear back within 24 hours (I never heard back at all), and despite my letting them know on no fewer than five occasions that I was getting threats from Natera of the bill being sent to collections, this still has not been resolved (the initial payment was August 14, 2023, and my initial call to them about this issue was December 2023), and Im still being told the case is in process.Cried on my most recent call to their customer service. Infertility issues are painful enough, they shouldnt be so cruel with their billing and failure to follow through on multiple reassurances.

BE AWARE!!This review is specific to Kindbody billing not the clinic itself. I got my assessment in July 2023 and a cycle of egg freezing in December 2023. As of May 28th, 2024, I am still waiting for their billing system to send a correct form w-9 to my insurance to cover labs. Ive tried calling different times of the day, different days of the week, have been on hold for hours but it is impossible to get a hold of a person. The messages on portal get an automatic response that someone will get back to you in 2-3 days and here we are almost 1 year later with no accountability. After repeatedly trying, they finally sent a form with incorrect information to insurance. This system is a nightmare to pay invoices.Anyone whos going through this know that the whole procedure is taxing emotionally, physically, financially, and logistically. The LAST thing we need is to deal with this added stress. Its incredibly frustrating to have to pay for this out of pocket when a simple form could solve this. They will of course send you text messages reminding you of your owed balance.

I went to Kindbody from June 2022-August 2023 and had 2 IUIs, one round of IVF that resulted in a successful pregnancy, numerous ultrasounds and various other procedures. I loved my doctor (who is no longer with the practice), the ultrasound techs and the nurses at the century city office (which is now closed). So why the 1 star review you might ask? Because Kindbody has owed me for overpayment for 11 months and has thus far refused to refund me despite the withholding of funds being against the law. Apparently it is too complicated for their billing department to do something as simple as write and mail a check, despite my numerous attempts to contact them and demands that they do so. Their only solution was to refund my credit card and when I told them that was not possible because I no longer have that credit card they ghosted me. Working with their billing team has been an absolute nightmare and for that reason alone I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. Next stop, I’m off to make a BBB complaint.

Worked with Kindbody for both of my babies and tell everyone what an amazing team they are. If you are anywhere in your fertility/ early pregnancy journey I cannot recommend them enough. Patient, calm, warm staff and environment - from the moment you step through the door you feel the love and support. Dr. Bendikson is a multi-faceted highly experienced, yet down to earth OB. Natalie Crump, PA will floor you with her intellect, depth of knowledge and researched approach - yet communicates with you like a best friend breaking down the science into tangible pieces of information. Natasha Pelaez, Sonographer, will sprinkle you with smiles whilst ensuring your upmost physical comfort. I never left the clinic feeling lost in the process or unheard. I always felt like my journey, my fertility, and my eventual pregnancies, were their number one priority. Big cheers to this team, thank you for all you do!

Like many other reviews said, they are a complete mess with billing, so you will likely have to deal with mystery large bills after working with them.I have been trying to find out the cost of their services since November, and every time I get a different answer - from $0, everything is covered by your insurance, to only pay deductible, to you will have to pay $1500 out of pocket for X procedures that you neither want nor really need. Its insanity! The company sent 10 different people to reach out to me and they all said conflicting things, which keep increasing the expected bill every time. Its been 3 months, but Im still waiting to clarify the expected process and coast involved, before starting to work with them.

Like others have mentioned, watch out for billing. Over a year after I stopped going here because they suddenly started charging me for something they had previously covered, I was automatically charged a large amount to my cc which I did not agree to pay. I’m sure they’ve covered themselves legally by putting it somewhere in small print that they will do so. After zero communication for a year they charged an old card that was on file with no heads up. I was willing to let it sit on my credit history because I was mad about the sudden charges and honestly I just couldn’t afford to pay it which is why I stopped going there…then they just charged me anyways out of the blue. At a time when I cannot afford it. I get that it’s a business but it doesn’t have to be a shady business.

This review is solely on the business aspect of this practice and does not reflect the provider.I went to kindbody for my initial consult for IVF a few months ago. The facility is beautiful! I forgot that I was in a clinic and that made me feel at ease. The wait wasn’t not horrible the rooms are clean and esthetically pleasing. I spoke to the Doctor who spoke fast but I knew the information so I wasn’t too concerned. She advised me to take DHEA as part of my treatment plan which is not recommended for pcos. I did my own research and caught that mistake. That’s the only negative comment about the MD. The billing department is who I have a huge issue with, I was told I will be contacted for pricing of IVF treatment but no one contacted me. I called and they said it’s the beginning of the year so they are backed up. It’s been months and not a single phone call in months. Luckily there are plenty of reputable IVF clinics in Los Angeles so I went with a different clinic but it’s unfortunate they dropped the ball like this.My advise: go to a clinic that focuses solely on IVF skip this place.

- Lots of misleading pricing. Ended up paying about $100 more.- Disorganized in office front desk / administration by Yanisel.- Bianca who did my annual exam was very professional with excellent bedside manners.- Fantastic call center staff.- Do not fall for the great branding and presentation. Santa Monica front desk is the most disorganized medical office I have ever entered and this is what made my experience extremely frustrating. Was advised via phone over 5 times, an annual exam includes a pap smear. Yanisel at Front desk then tells me it’s not, after I have a pap smear. Price then goes up. The list goes on.Details: I called in August, 2020 and spoke to two fantastic women at their call center. Both took my name, one opened an account for me and scheduled an appt for Oct 15th. Both said, they do see on their screens earlier appts are available, but only the Santa Monica office has access to book the appt. now. So they both emailed Yani at the Santa Monica office to contact me for scheduling an earlier booking. I did not hear from Yanisel. In Sept, I called back 4 times and even emailed. One call center person said she sent a High Priority email to Yani to contact me. Still no communication. October 14th, I finally heard from Yanisel. Oct 15th - came in for an appt. I had submitted all my insurance details over the phone, but had to come back on Oct 21st today due to not having my insurance card on hand. But Yani did scan my passport on Oct 15th.Returned on Oct 21st - I submitted my Insurance card details through the portal, but came in for the appointment and was told my jpeg could not be opened. I was quoted an average of $225 for my annual if I paid out of pocket by the call center staff. Yanisel advised my insurance said I was no longer covered (Although my employer prepaid for the year and Blue Cross said I was covered for an annual). To get it over with, I offered to pay cash.I asked Yanisel for a receipt and a contact so I may reach out to someone at head office and notify them on how disorganized my experience was with front desk. Yanisel said she would send a receipt and have someone call me. Its 6pm, No Receipt and No follow up phone call from anyone. Bianca did keep her word and sent me a doctor to follow up with through the portal.

Its much more enjoyable going to kindbody than a typical doctors office where youre staring at a drop-tile ceiling from your view on a crunchy bench in a cramped badly lit room. Kindbody takes the horror-movie elements out of this whole journey and transports you someplace else.Im extremely grateful to have this option run by female doctors and nurses. Their app is straightforward and I can get immediate advice and answers to questions related to medications.
