Had a wonderful experience with SRM, not only because we had success, but because everyone that I came in contact with was so kind and easy to work with. We did IVF and the process was very efficient. Thankfully we have fertility insurance and their office handled all of it. I didnt have to worry about claims and could just focus on treatment. We worked with Dr. Mazur who is very knowledgeable and explained things well. Due to my age, he suggested that we go straight to IVF and with his experience and some luck, I got pregnant after our first embryo transfer. Daphne was my main point of contact and shes amazing. Shes very supportive, responsive, and always answered all of my questions. IVF isnt easy, but I feel like they made it as easy as possible.
Tell me why SRM has someone on the weekend or Labor Day to answer the phone but she can’t schedule an appointment. First time, I called on a Saturday to cancel an appointment on a Monday, and that lady was so rude to me. Then, she told me that the appointment was canceled, well I received a call on Monday from the office telling me that I missed my appointment. Second time, I called on Labor Day to make an appointment for suppression check and she asked me to call the next day because the office is closed. I knew the office is close but I was expecting that she can at least make an appointment if she is able to pick up a phone call.Besides that lady, I always have a nice, helpful, and respectful conversation with all others representatives.
I wanted to take a moment to share my gratitude to SRM Care, four months after our successful embryo transfer (first and only transfer we had with SRM). Our journey here has been incredibly positive. Despite facing challenges like severe endometriosis and the loss of a previous pregnancy due to an ectopic pregnancy, my husband and I, both in our late 30s and early 40s, are now expecting our first baby girl. We are immensely grateful for the exceptional care provided by Dr. Mazur, nurse Lexie, Dr. Wald, ultrasound technicians and front desk staff. Their dedication and expertise have made this miracle possible, and we couldnt be more satisfied with the results. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.Update from 09/22/2024: our daughter was born on 09/20/2024 and is a healthy thriving baby 🐥.
Doctor Eric Mazur is amazing, funny and just a all around great guyWhen we met I told him I didnt think this would work, I explained it had been years or trying and I wanted to jump straight into ivf.He didnt hesitate to tell me I had a plumbing issue and my husband was boring 🤣🤣🤣 its are favorite thoughts when we think of him. He treated me like I was his only patientWe met in June of 2023 retrieval was in September we did a transfer in NovemberAre son was born July 2024 and I have this wonderful team ❤️ to thank for itThe girls at the office are sooooooo amazing and they joke and dont make this a awkward thingMegan was so quick to reply ,call, and just help with the smallest thingsI cant wait to bring my son to meet you all and I look forward to my next transfer ☺️
I had heard from friends and my own doctor that this place is disorganized and cold, but we tried it out anyway. This was not our first experience using a fertility clinic to expand our family, but we thought we would try one closer to home this time around.I don’t even know where to begin. Our care coordinator quit the practice the week before our IUI and sent out an email to patients about all the systemic issues. SRM deleted the email from my inbox but I screenshot it.SRM turned our donor sperm delivery away TWICE because they mishandled our paperwork. They listed me, the husband, as female and the patient. They repeatedly blundered our paperwork causing delays in treatment. We haven’t heard a peep or seen our doctor since the initial appointment 3 months ago. Instead we get tossed around to different providers who often have no idea what is going on.Lastly, we were told to come in for our IUI last minute. We have a small child and could not find last minute childcare. When we showed up, we were told no kids are allowed in the waiting room and they did not have a dedicated space for kids and families. What kind of family building space does not have a space for families? My crying spouse was then relegated to the back room alone and I was not allowed to join her for the IUI.My friends who are using the same clinic right now shared similar stories, including sperm being turned away, mixing up who was the patient, and paperwork mixups. We’re going back to UW Medicine who helped us make our first kid. It doesn’t have be this terrible! Don’t use this place, there are other great options that won’t make you feel like cattle.
I’m writing this 18 months after my last visit.I started my journey with SRM feeling so defeated and was starting to lose hope. Dr. Barker immediately gave me the boost I needed and eventually helped our family grow. The whole team was absolutely amazing throughout my entire process. I felt very informed, valued, and seen. They supported and comforted me when I cried and cheered me on when I got pregnant.I will never stop recommending them.
I was Dr Nichole Barker’s patient when my husband and I began our journey of IVF treatment at SRM Tacoma clinic in 2017. Dr Barker’s irreversible error in wrongly adjusting my thyroid level by 50% reduction at the onset halted the entire progress in April 2017 on the day of my egg retrieval, fertilization by my husband’s sperm and implantation. I was dismissed with no clear and rational explanation, other than that a miscarriage was imminent as a guaranteed outcome due to my exceedingly low thyroid level. Compelled by the profound trauma from the shock of this blow, we paused the pursuit for many years and now resuming with a different IVF option, only to endure that SRM has thus far been non-responsive to our formal written request for my records transfer to POMA Fertility Clinic for 7 weeks now. In hind sight, why didn’t they retrieve my eggs, fertilize with my husband’s sperm and freeze for deferred implantation when my thyroid level recovered? And why are they refusing to transfer my records to POMA? What else did Dr. Barker botch? Am I the only patient to be a victim of her incompetence?I rate this clinic 1 star to recognize the other staff members who were compassionate and professional. Negative 5 stars for Dr Barker.
I couldn’t have asked for more of a positive experience with SRM. Dr. Mazur and his team was attentive and very informative through the whole IUI process which resulted in a positive pregnancy and birth of a beautiful baby boy. Highly Recommend!
My experience with SRM started off positively, but unfortunately, it took a disappointing turn. Despite the substantial amount spent and several months into the process, I have yet to meet a doctor face-to-face. Attempts to communicate through messages or calls have been met with little responsiveness. When inquiring about the possibility of an in-person meeting, I was informed that it is uncommon for patients to meet doctors unless its a high-risk case. This is perplexing, considering their vision statement emphasizes setting the standard in fertility care, offering comprehensive and personalized services, utilizing advanced processes and technologies, and creating an inclusive environment. However, my experience thus far has been far from inclusive.Their commitment to instill hope and confidence appears unfulfilled, as weve undergone two cycles since the recommendation of IUI without making any progress in securing an appointment to attempt it. As we approach the third cycle, my confidence in their ability to fulfill their commitments is diminishing.
All the nurses, doctors and even the front desk staff are all amazing! I saw Dr. Barker for a year and after failed IUIs we moved forward with IVF and currently am 17 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby on my fresh embryo transfer. She was very upfront and realistic with expectations and the nurses always responded so fast in the portal and are always helpful. We have 3 more frozen embryos left. I truly miss SRM and graduation day was bittersweet. I wish they could see me throughout pregnancy!!
My spouse was REFERRED for testing by his primary care office. They said they would call to go over results. Over a month later I had to email Stacy Bartline to even get a response. In her email she stated we’d have to call the referring provider to discuss results. His provider gets him in right away but SRM Tacoma did not release any results to his provider. Stating he was “self referred” which is not the case at all, as his providers have record of the referral in his patient file. His nurse calls SRM and they refuse to release the records to his provider and state he can access records through his portal. My husband said he was never given portal information or access. His initial appointment was 12/01/2023, we received unexplained results via email 12/11/2023 and portal access information on 1/30/2024.
We worked with Dr. Mazur, he is very knowledgeable and helped us finally get pregnant with our little baby boy. We ended up needing to do IVF since my husband has issues with not being able to have children naturally. Dr. Mazur recommended that we go with IVF treatment because that would give us the best chance of pregnancy. Following the egg retrieval procedure we were able to produce four healthy embryos, two boys and two girls. We did do PGT-A, and had our first embryo transfer in April and are now pregnant with our little baby boy, we were lucky to be successful on the first try. We are looking forward to transferring the other embryos in the future. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with the doctor and the staff, and they were all very helpful and knowledgeable. They were also wonderful with walking us through the process of the procedure and the expectations and risks involved. I would highly recommend Dr. Mazur and his staff.
Dr. Mazur & team at the Tacoma office are amazing, kind and great bedside manners. Started with SRM in 2018 and the pandemic happened and fast forward to 2023 we are pregnant. We went through testings for both myself and my husband, tried medication & timing, took some time off. Later tried two IUI and last IVF and we are pregnant. I say to anyone starting IVF, give yourself grace, patience, positivity and lots of love so that you can understand all the information given to you. For us it was unexplained fertility where I was able to produce eggs and my husband sperm and for whatever reason it just didn’t happen for us naturally, so I had to give myself some grace to understand what’s happening. It’s helpful to have support but most importantly don’t give up hope.It can be frustrating, feeling like your coming to a dead end, but remembering why you are there in the first place will always give you the boost of confidence. The team at Tacoma is so nice and welcoming all the time, my nurse was attentive and supportive, Dr Mazur was understanding and considerate of my time, money and treatment plans.Best of luck and lots of love to all going on this amazing journey. God Bless!
If only I could give 10 stars! There arent enough words to express the gratitude and joy in my heart for all the team at SRM has done for us. From the moment we first stepped into the office we felt this place was different. We felt so much respect and kindness from everyone there. The doctors, nurses, assistants and of course the admin team are all amazing! A year ago we met Dr. Mazur for the first time, now as Im writing this I am 14 weeks pregnant and so grateful for the miracle he and his team helped create. I highly recommend SRM and trust only SRM with our future family. Thank you so much for everything SRM! We couldnt have gotten this far without you!
I am so happy I chose SRM. My experience has been so great. They communicate so well, the clinic is such a comfortable environment. The staff was attentive. Dr Mazur has been wonderful. My nurse Amanda has gone above and beyond in my eyes and I cant thank her enough for being there when I needed her. I am excited for our future together building our family with SRM. This review is for Tacoma location only.
Coming to SRM to seek help trying to start our family comes with its own set of sadness and heartache. But everyone here has been so kind and caring. Even though I cant see their smiles, the front desk is very welcoming and I know there are smiles under those masks. Ive never waited in the waiting room for more than 10 minutes. All of my visits have been prompt and accurate. The nursing staff is professional and walk you though everything. I also really like the fact that I see the same faces. After I had my initial phone call with Dr. Mazur, his nurse Sarah reached out to introduce herself. She has been a constant for me in this process and that has been so reassuring. Financial Services also immediately reached out to go over everything with me. I feel like they have thought of everything and stayed ahead of me every step. They did tests, we explored all options and formed a great treatment plan together. I highly recommend using SRM for any of your reproduction needs.
I cant say enough good things about the team at the Tacoma SRM office. My path to having a baby took so many unexpected turns, and I was always treated with compassion, care, and kindness by all the providers and staff I encountered. Dr. Mazur was my primary provider, but by the time I graduated I think I had seen every provider in the office, and they are all wonderful.
If I could rate SRM a 10 out of 10 I would. They truly made our experience wonderful! Dr. Mazur and his team made us always feel comfortable and explained the process. Dr. Mazur has a wonderful bedside manner and seemed to truly care. We did four IUIs which failed and then started IVF . We are so grateful that we are expecting our 1st baby in the spring. After ten years I am so glad we went to SRM for our infertility issues and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is going through the same thing.
The entire team at SRM is incredibly caring and focused on your health and goals. Dr. Mazur and his team are excellent at providing the best information about protocols and medications, while also respecting your own wishes. My husband and I have been seeing them for most of 2021 and are happy to be pregnant through successful first cycle of IVF!
I can’t speak highly enough about SRM. They have seen us at our worst and helped us through so much. The staff at SRM is amazing. Everyone I have interacted with has been kind, professional, and helpful. They go above and beyond to help. Dr. Mazur was so patient and kind. He sat with us and answered all our questions and genuinely cared.
Excellent care! Dr. Barker has her own personal experience with infertility so you feel like she truly gets it. I was assigned 1 nurse and 1 financial counselor for our duration at SRM. The financial counselor was able to tell me what services would be covered and the cost of those that may not be covered. If I had any questions or concerns I could reach out to her directly by phone or on the portal. My nurse Sarah was wonderful too. She was easy to reach and I loved the continuity of care. Having a nurse that knew my story without me having to reexplain every time I called was a big relief.I felt like this team really and truly had my back. I didn’t feel pressured in any way. In fact, with my situation I was actually advised against some costly options because they wouldn’t improve my success. I have a million more wonderful things I could say but not nearly enough time. If you are on the fence about scheduling an appointment, just do it already!! This team took so much weight off my shoulders. I was able to hand over all my googling and research and was really able to trust their knowledge, opinions and guidance. My anxiety went down the moment I met with Dr Barker and her team. Excellent, excellent care. I will gladly recommend them to anyone and everyone . Thanks SRM team!!!!
SRM is just amazing in every way! They think of every detail, they make you feel supported, safe, and are up to date with the newest and best procedures and practices. Everyone is amazing at what they do from the front office staff to the doctors. Thank you, SRM!
The kindest, most patient and amazing staff, nurses and doctors. They were able to figure out the best, safest and quickest path to get me pregnant and less than a year after my first appointment with them I am now pregnant. Highly recommend
After 11+ years of infertility and failed treatments, I am 13 weeks pregnant with my miracle baby, thanks to Dr. Mazur and the rest of the amazing staff at SRM!They were all so kind and supportive through out our journey. I highly recommend this team!
My experience at SRM was amazing...from the 1st day I stepped into the office until my last I felt informed, taken care of and that my husband and my needs were heard and met. Dr. Mazur always provided us straight forward communication in our direction moving forward while soothing any anxiety or fear mainly I would have...and now we are due in January! 5 stars all the way! Couldnt recommend them more
Can’t recommend this practice enough! Dr Mazur is incredible. The nursing staff is also very caring, empathetic and very responsive. I have had the most vulnerable moments of my life in this office and can’t imagine going through this without Dr Mazur and his team.
I was with SRM for about a year and a half. Everyone from front desk, nurses, NP, and docs were amazing. They were quick to respond to emails and concerns and always made me feel comfortable in one of the most miserable and stressful things a family can go through. We did 1 year of medications without success and then 1 cycle of IVF and now im 22 weeks pregnant! Dr. Mazur and everyone there were amazing and I really felt like I was part of the family there.
AMAZING. This clinic is AMAZING. From the front staff to Dr. Mazur and everyone in between, this clinic has made what is a rough journey, an easier one. They are so kind, thoughtful and very attentive. They answer any questions you have in a timely manner and make you feel very safe and secure through the whole process. Thanks to SRM, after years of struggling with infertility, I am pregnant with my first child. I owe more than I could ever give to this clinic. So incredibly thankful.
Best Experience possible! I was a patient at the Tacoma SRM, the doctors, nurses and front office staff were all friendly and very professional while I was receiving services here. I had a great nurse Lexie who I was able to communicate with often during all the processes and procedures I had done. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fertility clinic. Thanks to the staff for making this time so nice and calm.
I cant say enough great things about our time with Dr. Mazur and his staff at SRM. Their services and care were exceptional and we are thankful for the thoroughness and expertise that they provided to us. Ultimately, they offered us encouragement, hope, appropriate testing, and explained results to us that were realistic. Dr. Mazur and his staff are punctual, professional, and I would highly recommend SRM to those looking for first-class reproductive care.
Dr.Barker and Sarah along with the SRM family really were a huge part of the blessing I’m carrying in my belly now. Dr. Barker knows first hand what her patients are going through. Sarah was not only a great nurse but she was my counselor with my venting and frustrations. Although I believed that God would see us through, it was great to have this team of caring ladies helping us. Pregnancy happened the first time. I give all glory to my lord and savior Jesus Christ because I believe he has been with us the whole time. Thank you SRM, you are making miracles happen.
The whole process of seeking help to conceive is unfortable and embarrassing, or at least what I was feeling before going into SRM.... The whole clinic overall was amazing!!! The staff was pleasant and informative. Everyone was extra helpful and I felt as though they were personally invested in me and our process!!! Dr. Mazur will always be a light at the end of my dark tunnel.... Everything he did and said was well explained... I was put at ease so many time by him, and he spent so much time with me through the whole process!!!! I don’t expect everyone has a perfect out come for reasons sent her but I believe that everyone will get the best chance to succeed if possible at SRM!!!
Everyone, from the front office, nurses, doctors and those managing the phone calls were friendly, compassionate and kind. We instantly felt comfortable in their care and they were quick to respond when we had questions. Dr. Mazur in Tacoma was wonderful and encouraging throughout the entire process. I couldnt be more pleased with our experience.
SRM was an incredible gift to my husband and I— we were met with kindness, professionalism, and felt like they were in our corner the whole way during our treatment. We highly recommend SRM to anyone looking for a fertility clinic in a time of need.
Ive had exceptional and compassionate care from Dr Mazur and Ruby. They were always quick to respond through the patient portal and provided me with well thought out options for my care. They made sure we were thoroughly informed and educated to allow us to best participate in each next step of the fertility process. Their financial office was also helpful and transparent about billing and insurnace. Thank you SRM!
I really have nothing but great things to say. Dr. Mazur was one of the first providers to not tell me, Just lose weight and thatll help you get pregnant. He took the time to dig deeper and find what I actually needed to be treated for so that we could have a truly successful pregnancy. Ive struggled with my weight my whole life, but more so after being diagnosed with PCOS and now knowing I have thyroid issues (thanks to him). I loved that the patient portal was user friendly and that I would get such speedy responses from the nurses and clinical teams. We were seen for about six months and I only called the office one time for a scheduling concern on my part. It was a breath of fresh air working with SRM and we felt we were in the best care during a very sensitive time in our lives.
Wonderful patient experience! The care and attention was phenomenal. They were responsive and well-coordinated between scheduling, healthcare staff, and financing. Everyone from the front desk to the lab technicians to the nurses and nurse practitioners had great bedside manner and seemed like they truly cared. I so appreciate their hard work!
This is our second time working with SRM, first time with the SRM Tacoma team. We used to live in AK and traveled down to Seattle for our first baby. All of the doctors, NPs, nurses, MAs, and receptionists have been very welcoming and extremely patient, understanding, and clear from the initial start-up (we wanted to do another check on the timing before we moved forward with the FET of our last embryo). It is such a difficult time filled with so much stress and uncertainty, but everyone at SRM will take the time to help clarify any questions and support you as much as possible. I really appreciate all of their work and we are now pregnant with baby #2! I highly recommend using SRM for all your infertility treatments (and as a person who had been trying for 7 years elsewhere before getting pregnant that it is beneficial to go through with the genetic testing and timing of implantation testing [ERA] prior to the transfer to optimize your chances of success - acupuncture is also really lovely). Thank you SRM!
After 5 years of countless doctor appointments and not one doctor able to get me pregnant, doctor Mazur did! On our first iui I got pregnant. Today I’m 34 weeks along. I’m so happy with SRM. My nurse always kept in contact with me and they always keep you well informed when going through something so emotional. I can’t help but say thank you to Dr. Mazur and his staff.
We’ve been with SRM for over 2 years now and the level of service is beyond any clinic we’ve ever been to. Halfway through our journey with SRM, we decided to look elsewhere for a new opinion. SRM did nothing wrong, we just felt maybe other clinics would have a different mindset or point of view for our case. We tried out several other clinics and doctors and we can confidently say SRM is the best. Other clinics weren’t as polished in their operations and communication which is very important. We personally love Dr Barker, RN Heidi, RN Brianna and NP Ruby! They are the absolute best.
I really loved my team at SRM. Even though you dont really see your actual doctor he was definitely very caring and listen to what I had to say. On the other end my healthcare coordinating team, they were always there to answer any questions I had and really took care of me. Through that rough time Im so happy that we had them.
SRM is one of the most welcoming all-around experiences I have had in a doctors office. Every member of the staff is kind and friendly which can be a feat in stressful situations. I will always be grateful for the care Ive received from Dr. Letterie and his team, both in Seattle and Tacoma.
When I found out I had cancer I was referred to SRM for sperm banking before chemo. While they made the process comfortable and simple, I was definitely shocked when I started getting invoices significantly higher than we originally discussed.
SRM was the absolute best! They were able to help me figure out what worked for me and what didnt to get me pregnant. Ive been trying for a year on my own, and then decided to get checked, turns out I had PCOS. So I was referred to SRM, and in 8 months I finally got my positive and expecting baby #2. I couldnt be more thrilled! Everyone here is so nice, and listens to your concerns and takes in your suggestions. I recommend them 10/10.
I had an amazing experience with Dr. Mazur, Shannon, and the entire staff. IVF could be a very traumatic experience and they made it very easy and comfortable from start to finish. Dr. Mazur listened to what I wanted and Im lucky that I was able to get pregnant on my first round. Thank you for helping me expand my family!! I will be back for my 2 other embryos I still have frozen.
I had such a great experience with SRM Tacoma. Everyone was very prompt with responding, I was always able to get in quickly for appointments, and if it werent for Dr. Mazur, my nurse Lexie, and all the other lovely ladies who helped me, I wouldnt be pregnant with my little girl! Thank you SRM!
Dr. Barker and the entire team in the Tacoma location are fabulous professionals. They were all understanding, compassionate, communicative and extremely supportive throughout the entire process. My husband and I definitely appreciate this team making the process easier for us. Thank you!
I was a patient at the Tacoma office for almost 3 years. The staff was wonderful. Dr. Barker was amazing! She always listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. With our last ivf cycle we had to do a frozen transfer instead of a fresh and she was able to help is squeeze it into the last weeks of summer so I didnt have to miss work at the beginning of the school year (Im a teacher). The only hiccup we had with them had to do with our insurance and was mislead by what they cover. Marty was extremely helpful and helped us through what caused it, and when asked to speak with a higher up about they called right away and apologized. Marty was also helpful with understanding the Attain program. We are now happy parents of a 1 month old all because of these awesome people!
I had a great experience at SRM. I felt taken care of and I appreciated the attentiveness of the doctors and nurses. The medical process was well explained to me and I felt they did everything they could to help with my fertility process.
We began care with Dr. Barker for low motility resulting from vasectomy reversal that took place in 2014. I have no children, husband has 2. I was placed on Clomid and intrauterine insemination was the plan of treatment.First attempt at IUI January 2016, husbands count and motility were very low. Dr. Barker was very honest and realistic with us about probability for success that month - so we waited. I really appreciated that. In February 2016 we had our first IUI and found out yesterday, 3/17 that is was a success! I really appreciated the staffs professionalism and sensitivity. I also thank Marti with financial services for tsking the time to explain everything to ny husband and I. I would recommend SRM Tacoma to anyone having difficulty conceiving. They have given us such a gift and I am truly greatful. The Bliss family
Dr. Mazur is incredibly smart, kind, and straight-forward. We always felt informed making decisions and appreciated his direction. I had great experiences with the front office and the med techs; the lab is top notch, and should get much of the credit of our success (Im currently pregnant after my first round of IVF and first FET with PGD). My relationship with my nurse was awkward, and sometimes communication was lacking; however, that improved after we voiced our concerns. The reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I find the financial packages to be almost predatory in how much they play on an already emotional person in order to get more money. The buy one get one for reduced price offer is for grocery stores and Payless Shoes, not babies. And Payless Shoes doesnt keep the money for the second pair if your first one fits!
I would recommend SRM to those closest to me or anyone struggling with fertility issues. The level of care I have come to know at SRM is so compassionate and thoughtful. I was apprised of every step and fully in control of how I wanted to proceed. I never felt pushed or in the dark. Thank you, SRM Tacoma for everything you do!
Absolutely amazing first impression... Dr Klein is firm yet soft! We are extremely hopeful that SRM can help us achieve our family wishes! We and 2-3 failed attempts at the Gyft clinic, highly unprofessional and dirty place! We feel safe here at SRM and that is everything!!
My husband and I have suffered through many miscarriages over the last 17+ years. I have PCOS and Hashimotos Thyroiditis. Infertility and paths to parenthood needs to be something each person feels is right and is such a personal experience that only those two (or one) can determine. It is emotionally and physically taxing (to include financially) that I felt we needed to ensure this was right for us.We had completed two unsuccessful IUIs with ORM in Portland in 2017 and was apprehensive to move forward with IVF, for us, as I felt it was playing God. I prayed for many years for God to open my heart to IVF if it was in fact ok and in our future.December of 2020, after so much prayer, we agreed to move forward with one cycle of IVF, agreeing if it works with our DNA, that if we were fortunate enough for it to work, we could close this chapter knowing we tried everything we felt comfortable with.We were paired with Dr. Mazur and Sarah C. in the Tacoma office (who I cannot say enough amazing things about!). They were positive, knowledgeable and reassuring while being realistic about our chances of being successful. We chose to complete PGTA on our embryos (I am so glad we did this!) which means we would need to do a FET cycle. I had my egg retrieval in 5/2021, they collected 17 eggs, quite a few fertilized, but only two embryos made it to Day 5 to be biopsied for the PGTA testing. One embryo had Trisomy 16 (a girl) and the other was a Euploid embryo, which we kept praying for at least 1 perfectly healthy bub to make it. We did not want to be greedy, but I was so concerned about my body failing this euploid embryo. We were given the option to complete a second egg retrieval or move forward with our transfer. More prayer, but we ultimately decided to be grateful for how far we had come and where God had guided us that we chose to move forward with the transfer for quite a few reasons. And because of SRMs help and for Gods guidance and hand throughout our entire journey, we are now 14 weeks PREGNANT with our son that we prayed for so so so many years! I am due in 4/2022 and I cannot thank the SRM team enough. I know how blessed we are for this to have worked for us on the first cycle, and it has NOT been easy as we have encountered quite a bit on this journey alone, but after what will be trying for 18 years by the time he is born, we could not be more thankful and humbled for Gods guidance.
First time visiting today for an IUI, the staff was friendly and inviting. The nurse who performed the iui was friendly, reassuring and very knowledgeable and could tell she loved her job. I had a great experience during a very high anxiety time! I would highly recommend to anyone needing fertility treatment.
I was a patient at SRM for 18 months. My experiences were continually frustrating. First, although I was a patient for 18 months, and despite continued requests that I be given very standard fertility testing (e.g. cycle day 3 testing {Estradiol, FSH, LH, Prolactin, TSH, Testosterone}, new patient workup {e.g. AMH} and follow up PCOS testing {fasting glucose/insulin, A1C, etc.}), the only thing my physician ever would test was my progesterone level to verify I ovulated and HCG blood test. Despite that I have PCOS, my physician NEVER performed a baseline ultrasound or did anything to check-up on the status of my PCOS. When I REPEATEDLY asked for additional testing to be done I was told I dont need to do those tests to know what is going on with you. Second, I really found their approach to patient care to be very impersonal and hands-off. You cannot communicate with your doctor directly. The nurses are the gate keepers to all communication with your doctor. Moreover, you cannot even contact your nurse directly -- all communication goes through your patient portal and a nurse (not always your assigned nurse) will respond back within 24 hours. Third, as if it isnt frustrating enough that you cannot communicate with your doctor directly, their staff turnover is incredibly high. It seemed like every three months a different nurse was assigned to me. Fourth, I was rushed through a cookie-cutter treatment plan. After 5 rounds of letrozole I was automatically moved to IUI, and after two IUIs the nurse already started hinting at moving forward with IVF. Fifth, and finally, my medical team was ignoring HUGE red flag reactions to treatment. When I called them in hysterics because I was having an anxiety attack and very scary depressed thoughts (as a result of the increased dose of medication THEY prescribed) I was told to talk to a counselor and power through the cycle. When I repeatedly told them the same medication was causing other abnormal and embarassing bodily symptoms I was told I must be mistaken and that it was probably something that was perfectly normal. Again, all of this was being forced upon me with NO LAB WORK EVER HAVING BEEN DONE! I find their impersonal cattle approach to patient care, and their systematic approach of running patients through cookie cutter treatment plans to be at best negligent. After feeling continually ignored by my medical team I sought a second opinion because I kept feeling like there was no way this was par for the course --- running patients through expensive treatments without ever doing any standard fertility tests. Sure enough, the day I met with the specialist at another clinic, I was advised that the standard protocol is to run a series of tests to determine the best treatment plan. I am completely appalled by SRM. Shame on them. People rely upon them in an incredibly vulnerable time and I have now wasted nearly two years of prime reproductive years as a result of their negligence.
I have been here many times. The front desk is helpful and the ladies who draw your blood do it painlessly (and when your doing a lot of tests and a lot of poking, this makes it so easy). The sonographer that I had (multiple times) was super helpful in explaining everything to me and answered all my questions. I had a really good experience here.
Dr. Mazur and the staff are absolutely amazing. Dr. Mazur has great bedside manner and we always left feeling informed. My nurse Anna is also incredibly helpful and caring.
All my treatment occurred at the Tacoma location. I was treated with compassion and respect, the staff was very kind and supportive. My doctor was realistic and straight forward but optimistic. Now that Ive graduated Ill miss the staff. .
Dr. Mazer took his time with me, I didnt feel rushed, and felt understood which is Huge! The whole staff was very helpful. My only complaint is that initially it is very hard to get ahold of reception when making appts, they are usually very busy! But when I did reach someone, they were very helpful, going above and beyond to answer questions and if I had issues, figure them out.
I have had nothing but great experiences. I stared in 2015 when we were just looking and they did some genetic testing and stuff. Then forward to 2017, we got another referral after trying for 2 years. At that time, they helped us with an IUI. There was a hiccup with the insurance and referral, but it was all taken care of. I was able to chat with my nurse and doctor all the time, whenever I needed. I switched nurses one time because she was pregnant. But, I had the same people consistently! one IUI and boom, pregnant. Please try them out if you need fertility treatments.
At the beginning, they are great! Then if you get diagnosed with true infertility and can’t afford the astronomical cost of IVF... they completely drop you. NO couceling, NO support, NO more return calls or follow up questions. Also, their billing process is not user friendly, you are forced to leave a message and get a call back 3 days later, and the online bill pay had no portal interface (so hopefully you enter everything correctly).
Started treatment about 5years ago, it wasnt an easy journey to go through but SRM made it possible and now we are expecting 2nd child. I really appreciate the care I received and highly recommend this clinic.
We are having our 2nd child with the help of SRM. Dr. Mazur is our doctor and he is fantastic! I have referred friends to him.
SRM has helped us with both of our babies. The experience is AMAZING! The staff is so professional and I wish all of my physician experiences were this good!
I like this place and with their help my wife and I will be having our girl at the end of December, BUT I felt like I had to be the one that kept up on them and mentioned things I would like to try to help my chances at getting pregnant. Also, the billing process is nuts. I got a bill in September for things that happened in April!! I thought the whole time I was caught up and then BAM a bill. I wasn’t to happy about that.
Friendly and courteous staff. Dr Barker is very professional and compassionate health care provider. She is SRM finest and her help is highly appreciated.
The fantastic staff here provides a comforting atmosphere and friendly environment. Youre seen within a reasonable time frame. The doctors are attentive to your needs and/or concerns and offer the best solutions for your care. I strongly recommend this office!
It’s difficult to get an appointment for convenient time, because I’m full-time working wonan. Finally, I am happy with my experience in SRM, because I’m pregnant. The stuff is knowledgeable and responsible, appreciate for your job.
After 16 years and trying everything, IVF (@SRM) in less than a year, got us pregnant. Just praying baby arrives safe and healthy.
The process I went through to get pregnant with SRM was simple and straightforward. The staff are always nice and accommodating as well as knowledgeable and confident.
Very helpful staff. The only issue that I had was some confusion with how to take some of the medications, however the nurses are quick to respond and provide guidance even after youve graduated.Would recommend.
Great place to get care! staff is responsive, costs are clear and affordable. everyone was super helpful, I would recommend this place to anyone who is seeking fertility help, wether its just taking hormones, or full on IVF.
Ive been trying for 2 years and they didnt waste any time testing me and my husband and i was pregnant by my 2nd iui thanks so much SRM! :)
I never visited their office I have received call from them and call was less than 20 min they send me $375 I tried to call their billing office over 2 weeks I left voicemail they never responded. Just be carful people please. If I were knew I never answer that high cost useless consultation call.
SRM was wonderful to work with! Loved all the staff including the receptionists, nurses and doctors!
