This review is in regards to how rudely I was treated at Capital Womens Care suite 304 west Pavillon. I believe the names are Gerry, receptionist and office manager Lateshia?I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and frustration with the experience I encountered during my recent appointment at your medical practice on [date].Upon arrival, I faced numerous challenges, including severe weather conditions, difficulty navigating the parking garage, and ultimately discovering that my appointment had been canceled due to an ambiguous text message system. Despite my attempts to rectify the situation and explain the circumstances to the receptionist, I was met with skepticism and rudeness. The situation escalated when the office manager became involved and, after a brief discussion, threatened to involve security if my husband and I did not leave immediately. Despite our desire to address the issue further, security was called, and we were escorted out of the building.Throughout this ordeal, the unprofessional conduct and dismissive attitude displayed by the receptionist and office manager were deeply distressing. Despite my emotional state, I attempted to communicate with my nurse practitioner, who showed limited awareness of the situation.I want to emphasize that my complaint is in no way directed at my nurse practitioner or the medical staff, with whom I have had positive experiences for nearly 30 years. However, due to the treatment I received from the receptionist and office manager, I have resolved never to return to the west wing pavilion or any facility associated with your medical practice.Additionally, I wish to reiterate that I made multiple attempts to contact the office to notify them of my delay, as evidenced by my call records, which were subsequently verified.I hope that this complaint prompts a thorough investigation and necessary improvements to prevent similar incidents in the future. Patients deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, especially during times of vulnerability.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,Julia
Should be a negative star! The Drs and receptionist talk about patients right in front of others. This young lady was in there and got yelled at for being 2 minutes late because their elevator was broke. She walked up the steps and got reamed for it. But yet us patients sit in the room forever and wait on them to show up. Very unprofessional and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Some of these women are pregnant and I hate to see how you treat them in delivery if youre this horrible in the office. Im posting this on a friends behalf and saw how she was treated. I drove her there.
Terrible patient care at this office (6569 N Charles St, Suite 501!! I made an appointment with Dr. Mahle for my 17 yr old Daughter as a new patient when our prior (wonderful) Ob/Gyn retired. Shes been having severe menstral cramping and also wanted to discuss changing the type of birth control. We waited more than 40 minutes before she was called back. I was told by the PA that they would call me back once they asked her some questions. This never happened. Dr. Mahle spent about 5 minutes with my Daughter, handed her a piece of paper with information on the birth control implant, and walked out - even after my Daughter explained she was having severe cramping. I am thoroughly disgusted with this Doctor and this practice.
Dr Daya the best
The doctors are probably fine, but the billing office is ridiculous. They refused to take a copay at the time of service because they couldnt verify what they needed to collect, even though we told them it we owed a $30 copay and they had collected that several times from us. Then, they never billed for that copay, and the first notice we have of the amount due was a letter threatening collections. We tried to pay the bill when we got that letter - but they had already sent the bill to collections. So, we reluctantly paid the bill at collections, but then they said there was another portion held at their office that was still owed! We tried to pay that, but they couldnt take a credit card over the phone because the balance was a few bucks less than their minimum allowed credit card charge. Then they sent us to their automated payment service, but it said we had a zero balance and wouldnt take a payment. ALL of this was over a $30 fee, total, from the start! They lose 3 patients and whoever else I can warn about this, all over $30! Such a mess.
