If you need blood work and you were sent here because you are a hard stick. Ask for Avery. I waited years to get labs done because the blood draw experience is horrible for me (multiple failed pokes per visit). My doctor fumbled and forgot to send the right request so I had to go twice in a week. After my first visit where they failed once and called in Avery he was super nice and easy to get along with, was not judgmental and got it first try both visits. I made sure to come in when he works (Monday thru Friday afternoons). Avery needs a raise is all I can say. 5/5
If you need to get blood drawn ask for Latricia! She did so amazing she talked to my sister and I calming me down with my fear of needles and got my vein first try, made it super painless and continued distracting me throughout all of the blood drawing process. I love her and had an amazing experience here today!
Best Sonora Quest in town for sure. It can be busy, but thats true for all of them, sometimes youll luck out and not have to wait long, dependent on time of day. Friendly staff, Avery the nicest dude ever!
This is the second time my husband has been to Sonora Quest Lab on Wilmot. Both times the test results took forever to be listed on their website. First time almost two weeks. This time it’s been four days so far. I called today to find out that they send the test to a facility in California and it takes 3 - 6 days from when they receive it. That’s unacceptable. The only reason I gave Sonora Quest 2 stars because the techs are awesome.
Original doctors office was unable to draw blood from me so they sent me here. Check in was super easy and Avery did his job like a pro. He also educated me on where my good veins are and why so I dont have that issue with my doctors office in the future (even tho Ill clearly be coming here instead) 10/10
Wish they stayed open a little later than 5 . We scheduled them to come to our house and everything was smooth. Its very convenient but a little expensive.
I would like to recognize Jacky (phlebotomist) for her compassion and skill during a blood draw on 8/30/23. I don’t think I have ever witnessed the blessed compassion, patience, and expert skill that Jacky employed during a recent blood draw for a homeless friend of mine. My friend was dehydrated, disheveled, and his veins were barely detectable. He is also extremely needle-phobic. Taking all of this into consideration and without hesitation, Jacky began the process that ultimately took nearly 30 minutes. She simply would not give up, knowing that my friend was very compromised and needed help. She used every available resource to find an open vein and she accessed it successfully on her first and only attempt. The encouragement and gentleness that she showed my friend was truly Christ-like and it nearly brought me to tears. I am still beside myself from witnessing her pure compassion for him.
Great place to go for the basics like a blood draw for your annual physical. Make the appointment on line and then come in so the wait is short. Fast and professional services!VictorB
Had a wonderful experience here. Checked in around 10:15 for a 10:30 appointment and was seen at 10:30 on the dot, out 5 minutes after. Everyone else in the waiting area was in and out as well. Staff was patient and kind.
I didn’t make appointment and just walked in. I didn’t have to wait long. I was in and out less than 20 min even though there was 7 people ahead of me. Front desk people were very nice and I especially liked the my phlebotomist Mr. Michael. Usually my vein is not easy to find but he didn’t have a problem at all. The best thing is that it wasn’t painful at all. Thank you~
I’m terrified of needles and I was so anxious for my blood draw. I made an appointment and everything went quickly. The two nurses who took care of me were amazing and made the whole process as smooth as possible. Definitely will be going back here.
Went to get labs done.... Had to get stuck in both arms... The first try, I told the tech I prefer the butterfly but she used that other 18 - 21 gauge needle... missed & went fishing... it hurt soooooo bad.... I told her no fishing but she just kept on fishing so I snatched the needle out of my arm.... The tech didnt care that I was in pain... She only cared about the possibility of her getting hurt... It took everything in me not to cuss her out... My arm was hurting so bad, I needed an ice pack... They didnt have any but they had heat packs...I allowed her to stick my other arm but insisted that she use the butterfly since I know the needle is smaller (usually 23 - 25 gauge) ... I am still waiting for the heat to help with the pain... Just know, you may get a tech who doesnt give a damn about your discomfort.... Will definitely not be going back to this location

If I could give zero stars I would. Family member had medical emergency while getting blood drawn. Staff was inept and unhelpful. They did not have any supplies on hand to help with situation. There is no attending doctor. Save yourself a headache and find another lab.
Dont bother making an online appointment ahead of time. I did this and they put it under my sons name and then the receptionist accused me of not listening for my name. I am not responsible for figuring out that when you call the first name of my son (not an uncommon name) that you actually mean me. I had to approach the desk to find out what was going on and was treated condescendingly by the receptionist. After that, they had to create a record for me and for my doctor. They finally called me back 45 minutes after my scheduled time. Why have me complete information online if your scheduler is then going to turn around and decide that someone else has the appointment that day?I had chosen this lab because they were good when I took my son, but this experience has really turned me off to this place. I was fasting (which makes me weak and light headed) and then I had to wait 45 minutes PAST the appointment time. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because Mariah was very kind and professional and treated me (and other patients) with respect. She is also an excellent phlebotomist! If she worked somewhere else, I would go to her every time.
I went to have blood drawn, wearing a mask, checked in and took a seat, distancing myself from the other 3 people in the waiting room. About 15 minutes later 4 people came in together, 3 wearing masks and one without. One of them had the mask below his nose and the other below her chin. One of them told the one not wearing a mask to put his on which he did. The girl with her mask under her chin sat 2 chairs away from me. I waited another 5 minutes then told the girl at the front desk I was not comfortable sitting there with them not wearing their masks correctly. She replies, Oh then said she was trying to get my orders in the computer. The gentleman seated next to her immediately jumped up and took me to the back for my blood work. The tech, Vincent was very understanding and did a great job. He went above and beyond trying to get me in and out as soon as possible. Its too bad one bad apple, the original receptionist, left me not wanting to come back to this facility. Masks are mandated in Tucson and businesses, especially in a medical facility, should enforce it!
The staff was friendly and I like the convenience of not having to schedule an appointment. I did feel a little uneasy however having blood drawn here as it looked quite run down. I realise that all the needles and equipment seemed to be properly stored and im sure were sanitary however the whole office environment seemed run down. Paint was peeling off of every wall in every single room. The front desk looked like was falling apart. And walls had marks all over the place. The service seemed to be average and the nurse assisting me was nice however a lot more could be done to make the office environment look cleaner and nicer.
I had a great experience at this location. They were quick, efficient, friendly and Clarissa is an expert at blood draws! I will definitely use this location again.

He is the absolute best blood drawer I have ever met in 25 years of having blood work.Truly great man.Very patience and understanding.I is a true asset to your company along with the front desk people who were very professional in the face of a lot of people that were not very understanding about wait times I hope your manager takes time to give Mike and the desk some kudos for a job well done 👍
I took my daughter to this location after having a bad experience at another location. Our Phlebotomist today was Lucy. I advised her of the concerns I have regarding my daughter. She did her assessment and agreed with me. She was successful on the first blood draw attempt. Thank You for this positive experience.
Its odd that Im leaving a 5-star review for a laboratory but in this case, its worth it. Mainly because the nurse (Im assuming it was a nurse, or CNA or NA) that took my blood sample was so very nice and that gave me a good impression of the place. Its also very, very clean and they seem to be very efficient. I didnt wait long; I think I waited about 10 minutes at the most before I was called to the back to run my tests. I also appreciate their online check in process, as well as their interactive website that makes scheduling and retrieving your lab reports so easy.
First rate service. Walked in at 1100 AM without an appointment; front desk took my paperwork, logged me in and handled insurance paperwork. Blood drawn within 10 minutes. Couldn’t have been easier.
Unfortunately my almost 4 year old daughter had to have blood drawn and we were suggested this location. The location was clean the digital sign in was quick, we were walk-ins straight from the local pediatric allergist office. This rating is based off my personal experience. I mentioned to the front desk it was for a child and requested a technician who would know what they were doing. My daughter was brave she sat in my lap and as I was busy caring for her the tech began. My daughter screamed I held her still and as I looked at the needle I realized the tech is using an adult size needle not a butterfly. There was nothing to be done, I was just trying to help and comfort my child whom I’m sure was rightfully screaming out of pain. Over a month later my daughter is mortified of anything sharp.
Dont get a test here. They charge $115 for a test without a doctors order, but their website lets you sign up without ever telling you that. We didnt realize we were going to be charged until we arrived, when the (very friendly and helpful) employee at the front desk informed us.There was also no signage indicating where we were supposed to go for testing, so we just wandered around for a while until we found the right place.The staff were great, but everything else was a nightmare. Get tested somewhere else.
Horrible customer service! They expect you to use their online portal (which sucks) to review test results, which they never posted. I had to call their customer service line and was fed some bs that they needed to send a request to another department to link my results to my online account and that would take 24 hours after I had already waited 12 business days. I requested that they provide me with my result over the phone since I was the patient and I offered to provided them with the needed information to verify my identity. I was told they could not provide me with that information and that I would have to wait.
Service is the slowest. I arrived at 10:30 and its already 12:51 and they havent seen meIts just a simple drug screening test required to start a new job.Just an update: I left this place at 1:45pm. They were short staffed. They started moving til after 1. I will never come back.
Expect to wait 30-45 minutes to complete a simple pre-employment urinalysis drug screen. The staff at this location are rude, use appointments as an excuse for slow service, and . when in actuality, it doesn’t take more than 3-4 minutes to complete simple blood draws. In this instance, they advised me to come back later in the day and only took me back as I was preparing to walk out of the office. Once that was done, the process took ten minutes.My advice? ALL of Sonora Quests Tucson location should have the ability to do pre employment drug screens, not just three locations in the entire city of Tucson. This is bad business and if you have a choice, find another place or do the same chem panel via your doctors office.
I am very unhappy with the service or non-service I should say. I came into a long wait. Ok my fault should have made an appointment . Did not know that was an option. After I was checked in I was told 35 minutes. Ok so then I began to hear one of the girls say something about fumes at 10. I didnt pay much attention thought it was a different location they were talking about. So I made myself comfortable for the long haul. At 10:45 a lady comes out saying how sorry she was we all had to leave and couldnt be serviced. So Im extremely angry. Several reasons. 1. Why did it take so long for you to tell us if the fumes were dangerous, why let us stay for at least 45 minutes? 2 .I have been fasting so now I am also hangry. I ask the lady look I have been waiting for 45 minutes can I just go to another location and keep my spot? She then tells me now you have to go to another location you cannot keep your spot so then I have to wait again. For who knows how much longer the next location. And now Im not feeling well donk know if its because the fumes that I sat and smelled for 45 minutes unknowingly. I dont know if its just cause Im hungry a possible diabetic .
I am a grown adult with an irrational crazy fear of needles so severe I usually just skip anything to do with them until I have no other choice. I went here today and saw Becca. Becca was this lovely tiny little gal who was not the least bit afraid of my size, or my impending freakout. She did such an amazing job! She was sweet, professional and did not make me feel like the big baby I am....and she did an EXPERT and painless draw (where many other fail). I will ABSOLUTLEY come back here to work with her again!
If I could give them a - I would!! Worst place ever! I was here about 2 weeks ago and waited over an hour for labs even though I had an appointment. Today, I had to come back for more test and waited almost 2 hours for them to call me up and say that they have to call my doctor because some test they do not do. Why tell me that after 2 hours of me sitting there??? May I add there was not many people getting labs??
The t.v. in Waiting room was annoying and a bit loud. I had a bad headache and the t.v. made it worse. Other than that the place seems descent. The wait was over an hour even with appointment. ....I heard it was for various reasons and not usual.
Rushed here with my newborn for a scheduled appointment only to have a sign on the door that they were CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION. You could have at least let people know that beforehand so that their time is not wasted. Call, text, email, ANYTHING.
Phone message says closes at 5pm, arrived at 435 pm they have a sign that says there close at 430 pm posted on door. Tired of companies shorting there previous hours to accommodate their shortage of employees.
I walked in and waited 45 minutes but gave up. I understand appointments get priority, but they were talking for ten minutes in between calling people and I kept losing my place in line. Dont go unless you have an appointment.

I had to wait 1 hour for a simple urine drug test. The waiting room was loud and crowded. Staff are training and unaware of proper processes. Go somewhere else if possible.
Totally unacceptable. No results after 1 month. Has never answered the phone. Has not responded to phone messages or emails. The online contact us portal is broken and does not work. Must be investigated immediately.
Had pretty good interactions with the staff the first time I went to pick up things, but when I went to drop things off the woman at the front desk was super snippy with me for no good reason. Id say dont go to this location if you can avoid it.

Being Here Has Taught Me I Would Rather Not Even Get The Job Then Wait 2 hours to do a 5 minute Urinalysis test THIS THE WORST SERVICE EVER THE DOCTOR IS A RECEPTIONIST AS WELL HE WILL ASK YOU FOR YOUR INFO AND CALL YOU TO THE BACK HIMSELF
