The staff was so professional and quick. But it wasn’t rushed quick, it was efficient quick. I could tell that they respected my time. The NP and all the staff had wonderful bedside manner. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I hope I never get really super sick again, but if I do, I will definitely go back to NextCare!
I started my cycle early Sunday 8/11/24. Cycle r irregular. I woke up on 8/12/24with heavy bleeding/ blood-clotsMy shower lasted 4-5 hours. Due to the insane B & C continuous to Tuesday 8/13. Same pattern all over again.I was able to book an appointment that same day. I was in and out within 45 min with instructions to get to hospital. ASAP. Made perfect sense of course.Despite I couldn’t be treated there fully. Due to the severity of my symptoms/condition. Which was the reason for my visit obviously. The staff has always been & still is amazing. Just as always very attentive and friendly. In addition I’m certain that if they could’ve fully, fulfilled done & treated my visit . There they would’ve done just that. However I still would definitely recommend! Especially for the sake of one’s own healthcare needs and life’s.Whether “BIG or small.”PS. Thank you. NextCare Staff. Ironically. It really helps feeling treaded good, with dignity compassion and care. When not feeling/doing so well. You guys are the BEST!
My daughter was refused to be seen because the front desk wanted her to pay her co-pay AND her deductible even before she was seen. The co-pay is no problem, but how can this clinic even know what is left of her deductible and what other claims may be pending? How do they even know what procedures or tests will be performed? I can only imagine how difficult it would be to get a refund for an overpayment. Not visiting this location again.
Had a really bad sore throat for 2 days. I was able to schedule an appointment late at night. However, when I online checked in I never received a response. I had to go up to the reception desk & let her know again I checked in online. She then said, ok I checked you in. After that, everything went smoothly. Friendly staff, triage Josh was nice, then the PA stepped in & saw me. All took an hour. Thank you Urgent Care. 😊
I have never used an Urgent Care but I was pleased that it was an easy check in and pleasant staff. They took me back as soon as I finished my check in and the nurse and Dr were great. There wasnt a lot they could do but I was concerned I might have a foreign body causing me great pain on my big toe, and had not healed over quite a bit of time. She gave me an antibiotic script and eased my mind that it wasnt more serious. I would recommend, especially if the other choice is going to an emergency room!
I have visited this location on several occasions and have consistently had positive experiences. The staff is courteous and professional, and the wait times are reasonable. Typically, I spend 5-10 minutes in the lobby and 20-30 minutes with the doctor. The process is efficient and streamlined, allowing for quick and convenient visits.
Did a walk in appointment. Got seen relatively quickly; was there about an hour and 15 minutes in total. All of the staff was friendly. The NP I saw was so sweet, she gave me a couple popsicles for my very sore throat (strep, ugh)!
Absolutely a scam and waste of time. I had an accidental injury, split my earlobe. They took my insurance, my copay, to only tell me We cannot help you because it is a liabilty. The Doctor spoke broken English. Told me to go to an Emergency room. Said they would be filing an insurance claim (for doing absolutely nothing) but they did not realize I will fight that scam to the end. I went to the ER and within 1.5 hours was sewed up and done. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.
I was seen quickly but had to wait 45 minutes before someone decided to suture my forehead. I think they were drawing straws, a wonderful NP came in induced herself and took over. She did an excellent job.
Everyone at this clinic was so friendly! Especially the nurse practitioner, Jennifer and her helper whose name I can’t remember starts with a R, sorry I can’t remember but they were amazing! The nurse who took my vitals and got the solution to soak my fingers in was just as amazing!! I can’t say enough good things about how they made me feel so relaxed and comfortable! Ladies, I have so much respect for you all!!!!
The overall visit went well however theres room for improvement. I scheduled an appointment for 2:00pm and didn’t get seen until 4:30pm. After speaking with the front desk, there was only one provider available (understandable). But, I wouldn’t recommend having people make appointments if you can’t meet with them around that time. I did however end up going home and receiving a call once a room was available but I wasn’t told this was an option until I was there for about an hour and a half and threw in the towel telling them I was leaving. The staff and doctors were very nice and helpful though!
I did not feel good at all. They got me in quickly, hardly any wait. The techs and the Dr were all very nice and very thorough. Everyone was very understanding and made sure I understood everything as well. Thank you for taking good care of me!
I made an appointment and it was so easy. Front desk customer service was excellent. He got me all checked in and was so pleasant. Saw a NP and she was understanding to my concerns. Gave me what I needed to solve my problems. Thank you
Staff treated me and my family like VIPs.I can’t complain about the wait time, I did arrive late. The price I paid was what I was told before handing my kiddo.I would and have recommended this facility.
I went into urgent care 6/1 with a burned I lid the office was nice the ma was excellent but as for the the doc on site. She doesnt even belong in medical. She has no bed side manner. It was like I was annoying to her. She abruptly pressed down on my eyelid which had a burn on it and hurt tremendously and then told me Im not dealing with this Im sending you to the ER. Come to find out it was not as bad as the doctor made it sound to me it was superficial burn and my eye was not damaged she just didnt want to take the time to look at it maybe shell have a better day tomorrow.
Scheduling through the app with a pain in the butt for some reason, Ive used it before and I never had an issue until this time. It wouldnt let me take pictures of my insurance information which one they should have already had on file because its NextCare and I use NextCare like four times before just not this location. But because it wouldnt allow me to take the pictures of my medical insurance it wouldnt allow me to continue the appointment scheduling. So I just ended up doing a walk-in. At the walk-in I let them know and they did take a copy of my ID and both of my insurance cards. And after I was there and checked in and I was doing the paperwork on the phone then it would allow me to input the pictures of my ID and medical insurance cards and answer the rest of the questions. I have no idea why I wouldnt let me do that while I was still at home so I can make an appointment but that was my main issue. But once I got there got checked in, which was fairly quick. Though it would have been faster if the solv app actually work like it was supposed to. I was in and out of there within half an hour and I had to have an x-ray done turns out I did fracture my toe which is why I went in to to see if I had broken it or if it was just a bad stub because I did slam it into a curb pretty hard, when I was taking the trash out. Yeah my genius self decided to be good idea to take the trash out in only socks. And I feel even more stupid considering the curb is painted bright yellow. But this place was great very fast very efficient staff was friendly caring and I would definitely recommend if you need non-emergency care to go here. Plus it seems to be one of the very few NextCares with a x-ray technician thats there until 10:00 p.m. whereas most of the other NextCares their X-ray technician leaves at 3:00 p.m. But I did not find out that my toe was fractured until the next day, Im guessing this is probably because I showed up so late 9:00 p.m. and the x-ray technician didnt have time to actually look at it before they had to leave. I know some of these places are very strict about hours and some of the employees could not work overtime at all. My other complaint about this place is they did not give me anything for pain not even Ibuprofen so Im still limping around in pain with a fractured toe. I dont even have a crutch to help keep my Weight off that foot. So the two stars they lost was because they didnt give anything for the pain, they didnt even give me a crutch and I had to wait until the next day to find out that my toe was fractured.
I scheduled a sports physical for my daughter at 1:00 pm and arrive 10 minutes before our appointment. She didn’t get seen by the nurse practitioner until 2:20 and the appointment lasted 5 minutes. I understand that sometimes long waits can not be avoided but this tends to always happen at this specific NextCare.
I was highly satisfied with my care and diagnosis. An area that I saw in need of improvement or staff spoken too, was at the front desk. The woman was pretty cold, as if everyone was bothering her. I had to wait 15 minutes to make sure I didn’t have a reaction to a shot, then I went up front and was told I needed to wait for discharge paperwork. After an additional 20 minutes (while feeling bad) I asked the lady and she turned around and got paperwork that had been sitting there in the tray already and she handed me a sheet of paper with details of male and female anatomy pictures to help understand UTI’s. That was it, not one piece of personal info on my visit, discharge or treatment, I just waited 20 minutes for anamoty. Otherwise, top notch care by techs, nurses, and doctors, I appreciate your care and trust you all.
Loved the physician who did our sports physical evaluation. She was from another location in Oro valley covering a shift, and was wonderful. Talked to my child about concerns related to his age group like a mother and was an outside opinion building on what I, as his mother, have been trying to express to him. Wish I remembered her name. Would follow her to any location.
This is my go to urgent care. Scheduling is always easy and even if I have to do a walk in with no appointment the wait times are usually shorter than other places. The staff is amazing, great with adults and kids anytime of day or night.
My daughter woke up sick for the second day and Jessie Jesus was so kind and considerate to her. It made me feel at ease like he truly qcared!!! He truly is the best at his art!!
Great care. Jessica Repolda is really knowledgeable professional. She asked right away if my tonsils been removed already. And she diagnosed and prescribed a number of nasal sprays and rinses for my sinus problem. Six stars out of five!
Was there almost 3 hours. 2 other people came in and 1 was being seen but that was all that got care in that time frame. My 8 year old cried for an hour in the lobby and in the room for them to check his ear. Then went to give him ibuprofen for the pain took 30 minutes. I could have been home in 10 and given him some myself. Front office woman told us Dr was in a procedure when we walked in. Didn’t think much of it at the time and said ok. She played on her phone most of the time. When I came out of the room to ask how much longer, was told practitioner was in a procedure by the MA, he however was the nicest person working in the facility but the practitioner was sitting at the desk.
Personal and service was excellent! No take 2 aspirin and call in the morning! They had me take several test and an xray. 30 min and they had results. I highly recommend these well qualified staff, Drs, etc!Jerry
Staff was wondeful! They saw me as quickly as they could. They were efficient at giving me a diagnosis and gave me medication to help and they also gave good instructions on follow up care.
Everyone was great! I was in town visiting and I needed stitches removed from my finger. They made it an almost pleasant experience ha ha - As pleasant as it can be getting 10 stitches, pulled out of your finger. Would definitely go back there again again!
The nurse was great however the skinny girl behind the counter ruined the entire experience. Not only did I specifically ask that my prescription be sent to Walgreens at Kolb and Golf Links, three times and have paperwork to prove it, she filled the script at Grant and Swan which is way out of my way. Additionally she couldnt seem to process my HSA payment card because she claimed it was declined. Also not true and my bank has no record of the charge they attempted to process. Thats fine send me a freaking bill! Because Im almost going to bet that they didnt file it with insurance either! The girl is completely incompetent!
Unfortunately the urgent care isn’t open at 10:00 however the website stated it was open till midnight along with the sign.
We arrived 15 minutes before our appointment time. They called us back within 20 minutes of arriving. They did my so/ vitals and then took us to the exam room. We waited for the nurse practitioner almost an hour. There wasn’t anyone else there. I have things to do and don’t have time to wait an hour. I could hear the workers including the nurse practitioner just laughing it up and having a ball while we waited and waited and waited some more. I will never go to this location again.
My 4 year old has a cough keeping her up all night. We can in 15 minutes before close & I know that sucks for the people working but they were all still kind & caring. Happy to start treatment to get my little one sleeping great at night again. A sleep deprived kid makes for a rough day lol Thanks guys!
Went for HS physicals. The staff was great and everyone was very friendly. My only complaint would be that I had made appointments for 11:00, 11:15 and 11:30 and we were not even called back until 11:45.
The discharge instructions said to buy some medicine to use instead off something I had used twice since this started. I just wish they would listen better. It seemed like she didnt read the assistants notes. I had to call them the following day because she never called in the antibiotic to my pharmacy. I usually have a much better experience there. I never want to see that NP again.
The NP did nothing for my symptoms and I was told to come back in 5 days even though I have been miserable for two weeks and I’m pregnant. So I called my OB and they were able to prescribe me medication and said it was ridiculous that they wouldn’t treat me.
Everyone was polite and professional from the front office staff all the way to the back. Jesus the medical assistant has a very nice bedside manner and did an awesome job with my TB test. Thank you!
The FNP was helpful with her diagnosis and additional steps for further diagnosis. However, the prescription order was sent to the wrong pharmacy after I explicitly voiced to the FNP and the employee behind the counter where I needed it to go. As it sits now, the following night, it is still sitting at the wrong pharmacy and I wont be able to get it until tomorrow at a pharma further away than the one I wanted it to go. This is defiance to its lowest level. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Just another example of what our healthcare system has evolved into.
This Old Spanish Trail and Harrison in Tucson location is my preferred Urgent Care provider. Ive been using this location for at least a decade; maybe longer.I sometimes, schedule my appointments in the middle of the night when theyre still closed and I can sit in my car upon arrival and check-in using my phone.Staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Center accepts my insurance and HSA card for payments. Facility is always clean and wait times are minimal. They have a lab and x-ray capabilites on site too. I highly recommend this location.
Easy and Convenient check in process. Friendly and organized staff. Very clean establishment. Doctors are very concerning and were attentive to my sickness. I knew I was in good hands. They hired an excellent team for the front office MAs. I dont go to any other Urgent care for this very reason.
Very disappointing!! The nurse ( nurse practitioner if that actually means they know more or have the ability to prescribe as a doctor might) spent less than 5 minutes listening to my detailed 3 month history of treatment for my now very painful back ailment. I WAS NOT SEEKING NARCOTICS just in case you thought this is where I’m heading.I was prescribed a sub therapeutic dose of Prednisone for 5 days- 5 tablets! I have taken this in the past from other prescribers at doses that actually worked. I was also prescribed a mild muscle relaxant for 3 days. They charged me $267 and told me to go follow up with my primary care doctor!5 mins, $267 to get a prescription of Prednisone that would be more appropriately used to treat a rash that hasn’t responded to a topical Hudrocortisone cream!!
Awful experience, a 3 hr wait before talking to a doctor for a sceduled appointment. Doctor Silvia Schafer had a major attitude problem and talked down to me like I was a child trying to get out of school when I went in for a workplace assault. The front desk lady and guy with tattoos were great though.
4 stars because the staff members were all amazing at my morning visit today. Front desk, nurse, xray tech. ….But the PAC was terrible. Rude and insensitive , borderline disrespectful and short in conversation. Had my 10 year old not have been with me , I would have likely called her out. She lacks empathy and I would never want to be in the same room with her again. I mentioned it to some staff and they agreed. It takes a lot to make me uncomfortable. Would never go in again on a day she’s there.
The front desk girl refused to spell my sons hispanic name correctly and told me it wont matter. They refused to see us because they could not find his insurance in the system... well name spelling is usually crucial. We are now on our way to the ER an hour later because they are either heartless or racist at this front desk. Just get his info right... its so simple. A 2 year old with an ear infection does not deserve to be exposed to such hatred and bias.
Staff were very nice, however I tried to go in the night before my appointment as a walk-in, as their website states they take walk-ins until the close of business hours. They turned me away, stating they don’t take walk-ins after 8pm. Maybe change your website then???Then, they told me nothing was wrong and sent me on my way with over-the-counter solutions so my problem. Well I went to MinuteClinic the next morning after I went to UrgentCare and was diagnosed with an ear infection and sinus infection and sent home with antibiotics. So UrgentCare charged me 75$ for no results, when in fact they had missed two separate infections that I needed treatment for.I will not be coming back to this UrgentCare.
I was at this urgent care for over two hours. They had to do 3 tests that they said only took 10 min for the results. I could hear the employees laughing, fooling around, not working. They eventually said there was nothing wrong with me and discharged me. Today I went to the ER since I was still feeling sick and I was diagnosed and given the proper medication for what I did have. I am beyond disappointed with their service.
The male nurse was very nice what I didnt like is that nothing was done for my mom. They didnt even get an xray to rule out pneumonia. I chose this urgent care because it had 4.6 rating however am very disappointed nothing was done no medication to treat her and what is worse the diagnose that she wrote we came for is not even close to what we explain to the doc and nurse
I was seen by Ericka. Not sure her credentials. I had recently been to 2 other doctors. She asked what they diagned me with. She didnt bother to see if there was something else they made had missed. She just checked my lungs. I didnt feel like I was really treated. She spend like Maybe 8 mins with me she was also talking over me and would not listen or let me finish my sentence
I honestly felt pretty dismissed and regretted going... it was money I didnt have to begin with and I dont know that I really feel much better as far as understanding what is wrong with me. Now I feel unwell but also upset for spending the time and money.... UPDATE: I just saw that a service I was told if I go in and sign this cancellation form would be cancelled charge my account. I went in signed the papers and was told to my face it would be sent where it needed to be and cancelled. This was maybe 2 months ago. What God awful patient service. I couldnt be paid to return to a NextCare and will strongly advise anyone around me to go anywhere else.
Went in due to positive covid results. Everyone was super nice, from the receptionist, to the person who took my Vitals, to the doctor. Everyone was very helpful. Thank you!!
Excellent, fast service. Paperwork easily completed on line and seen by the doctor before scheduled appointment time. Doctor assessed, sent prescription and wrote work excuse.
Exceptional care from everyone at the next care on Old Spanish Trail, and a special shout out to the receptionist at the nextcare on Irvington in Valencia. She is simply amazing. I didn’t get a chance to get her name, but she is a very compassionate person and you are lucky to have her working for you.
The visit felt very rushed and uncaring. I had maybe 2 minutes with the doctor, was quickly prescribed a medication, and asking how many days I want to be excused from work, initially presuming id be fine in a day with meds. Backstory: I had a severe sinus infection from a cold that began 2 weeks ago. Waited between this room, to that room, to the front again maybe an hour and a half. The ratio of waiting to getting a doctors time is so sad. My payment using Aetna insurance went up to over $200 from $100. Heard this doubling in price applies to Aetna and United insurance members, not sure where others stand. Were probably getting pushed out of urgent care to use telehealth. Ill be using telehealth next time I need a doctors prescription and advice in urgent circumstances, same service of get you in get you out for half the price. The front desk agent did the best she could under the circumstances, tons of patients to process and just her.
Fast & great service 👍🏽We were in and out and my son didnt need stitches. Doc glued his finger and we were good to go. No more trying to cut frozen burger patties. Lol
They were late opening up with some issues. Wouldn’t let us inside. Waited 15 minutes. Once inside things progressed well. Doctor was quick with diagnosis. Good visit overall.
Awesome, awesome, awesome! Very friendly, compassionate efficient and all around awesome. I did have an appointment either and was seen very quickly.
Doctor was really great. No waiting. Front desk reception woman seemed irritated and annoyed. It’s. It isn’t normally like that in there in this clinic.
Staff was friendly and efficient. Only disappointment was that a copy of xrays were not burned for me to take to ortho clinic I had been referred to. I ended up having to get a 2nd set of xrays in order to be treated, which will likely not be covered by insurance.
My neck/lymph node was swollen on the right side and I could not schedule an appt with my PCP. I went online with NextCare on Old Spanish Trail and scheduled a same-day appt. From the moment I walked in, I felt a very comfortable ambience in the lobby and the interactions with both the Receptionist and the Medical Assistant were exceptional. The Nurse Practitioner was very detailed and thorough, and I felt that she was truly empathetic regarding my concerns. If and when I have any future medical issues which I feel need to be addressed immediately, I will make an appt with NextCare on Old Spanish Trail. You guys rock!
My experience with this facility was a positive one. I was in and out in a little over an hour. The woman that took care of me was awesome
I made an online appointment but had to go out and was near NextCare so I stopped in just to see how long of a wait a walk-in was. They took me in right away. I have been seen at this clinic several times in the past and received great care. At today’s visit, Jennifer Ross FNP asked the right questions and prepared the appropriate care plan. The front office staff was quick, efficient, and friendly. I highly recommend this NextCare clinic.
Got seen quickly. The doctor and staff were thorough and quick so I didnt spend much time waiting for a diagnosis. The doctor even noticed a sty I had in my eye that and got that taken care of too.
This was a repeat visit, all past visits were better. But today, after waiting over 3 hours, the “doctor” who saw my child said that she thought he had strep throat, but refused to swab him for strep throat. They only did a swab for Covid and flu, and admittedly said they should have done a strep test too, but didn’t want to do their only job….They said my child was severely dehydrated and sent us to the emergency room, claiming he needed an IV. After only one hour at the pediatric ER, his strep test came back positive, they DID NOT NEED TO GIVE HIM AN IV AT ALL. He wasn’t dehydrated. He needed nausea meds and a strep swab, BOTH OF WHICH ARE SUPPOSEDLY OFFERED AT NEXTCARE. But not today! Today they’re peddling lies and wasted time only.So not only did the NextCare doctor refuse to treat my sick child, she also wasted more time of ours by sending us elsewhere for treatment that wasn’t even required, for a diagnosis she could have done herself. Adding a second bill to my wallet. These “doctors” will literally send you somewhere else just to avoid doing their job. Will absolutely not be going back to this NextCare. Highly recommend the ER over this joke.
1st know I would normally go to my own Dr but she didnt have any appointments that day.I will never go there again and I would tell everyone to avoid Nextcare Urgent Care on Old Spanish Trail not to go. I went because I had a cough and was instructed by the attending nurse practitioner or doctor she never introduced herself that I should get off all my medications stop all dairy, stop spicy foods, alcohol and went down a whole list, made all these suggestions without even testing me for anything. Then proceeded to tear apart Arizona saying everything here is backwards. She insisted my only issue was that I am extremely dry because of Arizona and that I suffer from massive inflammation due to all the bad things that are in Foods today. Not that I dont think the chemicals in foods are bad on you dont tell a person to just drop everything and expect them to do this with no testing no nothing. Also, the main reason I was there, she gave me nothing for it. I am a symtomic asthmatic due to being a 911 survivor and anytime I have the beginnings of a cold I have to treat it ASAP or my lungs get bad.
Scheduled an appointment for 10 o’clock checked in at 9:40 did not get us back into a room until 10 and now I’ve been sitting in the room for an hour. What’s the point of making an appointment when they will see walk-in patients before you this urgent care, used to be amazing now, it doesn’t seem like they care about about your appointments time Dr can in at 11:25 and spend less then 5min with you Next time I’ll pay the extra money and just go to Carbon health Urgent care
Although because of staff shortages there was an hour of wait time from the time I got there, it was, as usual, worth the wait. I was quickly diagnosed, received appropriate care, and was sent home with a full treatment plan.
Love the staff was seen in a good timely manner love the fact open to midnight cant go wrong nice clean office and staff also well put together would recommend and continue service always thank you and great job next care staff
I called NextCare requesting an appointment for specified testing(I told the scheduler the name of the test I wanted). They asked if I was showing symptoms and I said no but my girlfriend just tested positive so I want to make sure Im not as well. They gave me an appointment, when I went into the office to have the test done, they told me they wont do that test unless theirs an outbreak or Im showing symptoms. Even after my protesting they still said they would not test me. Then they tried to charge me $60 for the appointment. At this point Ive refused to pay them. They did an internal investigation into the matter and claimed that I received medical advice therefore I should pay them the $60. Giving people appointments for a test and then not administering the test because certain criteria are not met is not medical advice, that is an internal policy and one not communicated to the appointment scheduler OR deliberately ignored. Please help me with this situation. NextCare now ignores my calls to attempt to resolve this situation, Ive now resorted to this and reporting them to the appropriate government agencies. Please be careful, youve been warned.EDIT: I tried calling the clinic manager who responded and never got a call back. This place is trash. Be careful.
Took my son as a walk-in for a sports physical, everything went quickly for being a walk in. Receptionist and the rest of the staff and FNP were super nice.
Cut the top of my finger wide open with a razor blade. Showed up around 11:30pm and was still seen and got my finger stitched up. All the staff was super nice and didnt make me feel like it was an inconvenience that they were there until almost 1am treating me. Highly recommend NextCare for anyone needing fast and proper treatment and thank the nurses and doctors that stitched my finger up for doing a thorough job with my injury.
I was taken to on time. The staff was courteous and professional. The diagnosis was proper and swift. Now I am well on my way to recovery.
The experience was made by the amazing nurse, but I forgot his name unfortunately. He had an angelic touch; I didnt notice the needle going in at all. He was also very kind and informative, keeping me engaged during the visit.I was also able to show up early and get seen 30+ minutes early, which was so very appreciated!
I’ve been to this location twice now, and they’re always so great! Super fast check in and so nice. I will forever go here while I’m in the area lol. HIGHLY recommend!
I just finished sharpening knives. I am a real clutz and wear a stainless glove. I was putting them away and one fell on my ungloved hand and cut my finger. Im on blood thinners so it just kept bleeding. Off I go to Nextcare Urgent Care on Old Spanish Trail. They saw me right away, got it stitched up, got a tetnus shot and got it bandaged. The doctor was very nice and we had a laugh about what happened. Hey.. Im a clutz!Nextcare is a very clean place..the people who work there are very nice,
I made a late appt before closing on Saturday night. I took my son in for what I thought was probably a sinus infection or something we would get some antibiotics for. We saw Jennifer Neiss, FNP, who right away asked if my son had asthma. He actually has seen an allergist for years and this has never come up. He was given a breathing treatment and steroids and to follow up with our doctor for a PFT test. My brother, RN thought that was far fetched, as well as his allergist, MD who did the test today. Not only does my son have asthma, it is a pretty moderate case. Thank you FNP Neiss! Win for the Women ;)
Came in wanting to give benefit of the doubt.Walked out thinking other reviews right, desk lady got bad vibes
I scheduled a video visit because I felt literally so sick that just getting dressed and getting there for an office visit would take more energy than I had.So after waiting 20 minutes for someone to come on I was greeted by a physician who right from the start was cold and almost rude. I began to explain I was on the last leg of Covid but felt now that I was developing a sinus infection and had a very painful uncontrollable cough that had just started during the night. I was pretty much cut off when I asked if there was anything that could be prescribed for me to alleviate getting worse or to provide some relief because I was almost desperate at that point. I then was told that there was nothing to be done it had to run its course. Conversation was pretty much shut down after that. Video visit itself took all of 2 or 3 minutes after waiting on hold over 20.I spent the rest of the day and night progressively getting worse only to end up in the hospital with pneumonia, ear infection and yes a sinus infection! All of which needed an antibiotic. An antibiotic that I had been told previously on the video visit would do nothing for me.My family and I have visited this urgent care location for years and have always had nothing but good experiences until now. I was on the fence about leaving this review, but I couldnt help think about how dismissive and rushed the physician was. To be treated as though you are putting someone out or perhaps exaggerating your symptoms and pain and talked down to as though you know nothing of how you feel or what youre experiencing by someone who is already unfriendly and seemingly annoyed from the start is demoralizing. I can honestly say that I was the sickest I had ever felt and then dealing with that made things even worse. Next time I know where not to go.I wish there was an option for zero stars.
I love the ability to make an appointment and be seen on time. My appointment was for 1:15 and I was called for sceening at 1:29. Giving a 15 minute window as a grace period is acceptable to me. Once screened, I was quickly seen by Sarah Aldor, LNP. Diagnosed, prescription in hand I was out the door by 1:54. Great Experience.
Its taking a long time to be seen. They are understaffed.i walked in around 12:45 pm, they said they had an opening around 2:00 pm. We took the appointment and decided to wait at the clinic. Did not get in until 2:45 pm. They did give me a referral, but it took another 20 minutes to get the discharge paperwork.
I was able to get an appointment early. A short wait. The Doctor was wonderful. I have used Nextcare before and have always been satisfied.
Went in due to watery eyes. Arrived at 9:05am for my 9:15am appointment, wasnt seen until 9:45am, when my vitals were taken. After my vitals, I was asked to go back to the waiting room and waited another 30 mins to be called back to an exam room. Once in the exam room, I waited close to 30 mins for the FPN to come in. After the exam, I had to wait 20 mins to pay so I could leave. Was finally discharged at 10:50am.Staff was all very friendly and professional, but appointments sold be more spaced out to prevent backup.
Exceptional experience at this urgent care location! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly attentive and efficient. Our needs were promptly addressed, and the care we received was top-notch. Highly recommend!
I use this NextCare often for my health needs. They’re usually pretty quick at this location. The doctors explain what’s going on in a manner that’s understandable and they listen to my concerns.
We would like to say that we have been going to this Urgent Care for years now. Old Spanish Trail Urgent Care has always been our favorite when we need this care as opposed to our primary medical team. It has always been warm, carrying and very friendly. However, this time the front desk staff for our visit on Feb. 11th at 6 pm was not as welcoming and friendly as we usually have. While we were there two of your employees were chatting and a patient came in they did not stop chatting to help, the couple left, to get assistance somewhere else, it did not seem to bother them at all. In my opinion, as I to work in the helping field, we are to care for our members/patients first before personal time. On a positive note, I did want to complement the NP who took very good care of our daughter. She was very kind and attentive to our daughters needs. She made the exam simple and non stressful for our 3 year old. I want to Thank her very much!!
I cam in around 8:30-9pm and was quickly checked in, and inside talking with a wonder MA named Natalie with 15 minutes. Over the span of an hour or so, I got the antibiotics I needed and was helped by a great staff. Will go here again if a problem arises
Great care received, but a much longer wait than I have ever experienced in the past. 3 hours total.
Was taken to room only a few minutes after scheduled appointment but then waited an hour before the nurse practitioner (not even a doctor) came in and talked for 10 minutes. Then waited over half an hour without seeing the NP but someone else came in and said papers were at the desk and my visit was done. NextCare: claiming appointments are kept on time only by making them wait in a treatment room for an hour is NOT the way to do business.
I like that Im able to see a Dr or NP for health issues. That Im able to make appointments early as 3 a.m. The staffing are wonderful and great front and back office. Its very clean and bathrooms, too. Didnt wait long to be seen. I love there signs about no tolerance on bad behavior and foul language nor threats.
I have visited NextCare locations several times in the past 2 years. NextCare has made steady improvements to its online scheduling process. Everything now works very smoothly. As always I found the NextCare staff from receptionist through provider to be very helpful, friendly and professional.
The only complaint I have is the wait even with an appt. The staff were great and the NP that saw me was excellent!
The staff was helpful and friendly. We booked our appt on line and was seen at the time they stated.
The worst experience. I paid my copay. I was brought to a room. Doctor never examined me and said he couldnt do anything. That I was in the wrong place. Very disappointing. I wil never go back. I will not recommend this place
Service is always great, however I feel that cleanliness should be a lot better. I feel that hospitals or urgent cares should be clean already however we are in the middle of a pandemic and should be more clean than usual.
Dr Ritter and Medical Assistant Ally, at the Harrison/ Old Spanish Trail location were both very kind, sympathetic and helpful in taking care of me. I was in the worst pain Ive ever experienced in my life. Dr Ritter was already on top of my situation in alleviating my pain almost immediately w a shot. Very satisfied!!
I hate going to get medical treatment! I do everything in my power to take care of myself and only seek treatment when I cannot succeed. Today, I went in for pneumonia, it has been a regular accurance every few years for me. I could barely function today, and made an appointment, took a shower, coughed up a bit before the appointment. In the appointment, I was told that I was fine, and treated as if nothing was wrong. I know my body, this is not the first time this illness has happened to me. Absolutely LOVE being told Im fine when my entire body is hurting and feels like its falling!Very disappointed in this visit! Ive been coming to this location for years, now I may be finding a new place for my family.
It was a bit of a long visit but not their fault. I had to wait for xrays to be read and not in their control. Back office nurses, x ray tech, and doc were fabulous! Front office looked like it has been a long day and my apt was late, but Im sure they are amazing as well when not so stressed on a busy day. 🙂 Happy Holidays to all. Blessings.
The provider and staff on site during my visit were very welcoming. I was uncomfortable and in some pain due to my issue, and everyone I encountered made the visit easy.
I scheduled an appointment for 11:00am. It is now 11:20a and I have yet to be seen. Not even told any reasoning or apology for having waited. I’m here sick on my lunch break. This is unacceptable.
I went here on Monday due to an upper chest respiratory infection. Nonstop uncontrollable coughing. I needed a prescription for Amoxicyllin but they did nothing but tell me to drink water, back off on caffeine and get rest. What a waste of time and money. I got nothing. They charge $300-390 for a visit, plus the price of testing...The minute clinic at CVS is approximately $139 for a visit. Way cheaper!! Nexcare diagnosed me incorrectly and caused me great pain and suffering. I see a va dr next Monday. Then I plan on contacting Lerner and Rowe to file a formal complaint. If they did this to me, theyre doing it to many!!
Had an appointment at 2pm on a Sunday. I showed up at 1:45pm and didn’t get called in until 3pm. We finished up our appointment at 4pm, by then all the local pharmacies had closed. They didn’t provide us with any doses of take-home medication to help my child sleep through the night with his ear infection (which is the main reason we showed up). We would have been better off not utilizing this urgent care and just waiting until we had a chance to see our provider Monday morning. In short, showed up to the urgent care for my son on a Sunday. Stayed for two hours (1 hour just waiting to be called for my appointment) and received nothing to help ease my son through the night.
Appreciate that they were able to see my son so quick but then drove all the way out to my pharmacy only to discover they never called in the medication. Very disappointing.
For the second visit in a row, the prescription was sent to a different pharmacy than I asked. And I asked multiple times for it to go to a specific location. The location sent to was closed, and they then couldn’t transfer it. So I had to come back to urgent care to pick up a paper prescription. In the end, delayed getting my daughters prescription by an hour and a half at 9pm.
So came in doctor saw me for a allergic reaction to mess, said had to go to er because a shot of steroids wouldnt be enough...er gave me a shot of steroids and sent me home. Waste of money and time
The staff seemed a little uninterested in conversating about anything I tried to joke around with the lady at the front desk as I was having difficulty in giving a good number for them to send to paperwork through to and she just grabbed the paper I wrote the number on and without saying a word went on about her business and then the nurse who walked me back just wasnt able to listen or focus or something seeing as I had to repeat myself multiple times in the 10 mins of interaction I had with her. The doctor on the other hand was polite and made me feel a lot less like I was a bother she was definitely the best as far as staff friendliness goes other then that they where quick and I was in and out in about an hour from check in to check out
I went to NextCare because I was in extreme pain with my ear and throat. They did a strep test and another culture test. The other culture was told it will take 4 days to get back. But while I wait the 4 day. I will be in extreme pain. What is the point to even going to NextCare when you don’t get help nor answers to what is wrong.
Very effective appointment made online medication was ordered. Feeling better already. The nurse practitioner was great friendly. Will go again in the future.
Felt like the doctor was rushing me out and left with the same exact answers I came in with. Feeling very frustrated.. This visit wasted my time and helped with nothing.
The NP is excellent here and everyone that works here is nice. I always like to come here if I ever need help with something. They are always willing to work with you to help find a 24 hour pharmacy and change pharmacies if necessary.
They were so busy but still efficient. Everyone was friendly despite the pressure. Always make an appt online. They cant always take you right on time but you can text to let them know youre there and wait in your car. They call you when its your turn. I can highly recommend this location!
Triage was very nice, as was the lady taking x-rays. Doctor Anita Chapman was completely lacking in bedside manner. I was unable to get a word in edgewise, was spoken down to, interrupted, mumbled at, and treated like a bother. She also was not thorough with her check and didnt seem to care about what was going on at all. Is that not her entire job? She couldnt even pretend? At the end of the appointment, she told me I had a virus, but it was 1 of 500 viruses. Unprofessional. Not worth the money by any means. If you want a REAL doctor, dont come here.I went to the emergency room right after at the advice of my primary care. While walking out of urgent care with no prescriptions and no diagnosis, I was given steroids, steroid injections, sent home with a prescription, spoken to like a person, etc, it couldve gotten serious fast. The staff at St. Joes was also appalled when I told them about what had just happened. Absolutely ridiculous.
Waited 4 hours to be seen, was charged $250. Was told to just take nyquil when I havent slept in almost 3 days and regular cough medicine isnt working.
Service from staff was fantastic but don’t even bother with appointments. Just wait until a later time in the evening and come in as a walk-in. Had an appointment for 1:30 and wasn’t brought back until around 2:15. Was assessed and brought back into a room to wait another 45 minutes to be seen then was seen for about 5-10 minutes and waited for paperwork for another 15. Again, staff and Dr were fantastic, but do not waste your time with an appointment.
The visit to the urgent care went great, but afterwards trying to get my prescription was a pain. Im still at Walgreens waiting for a prescription to come through, called their office and they said they resent it, called back and and they said they told the provider to do it, but it hasnt been done. Dont tell me the prescription has been sent when it hasnt. Not the providers fault, but Im ill, frustrated and dont feel well. I shouldnt have to wait a few hours at a Walgreens for my meds.
Was quick and easy to do a walk in. I have waited hours before but at this location, they are very kind & took me seriously. Gave me the doctors notes I had asked for. While also having good professionalism and respect.
The front office staff and checking in was friendly quick. All the back office was very professional very friendly. Nurse practitioner that I seen was very good thorough and really helped me. I’m feeling so much better I would recommend anybody to see her
First time here! I usually go to carbon. I decided to give next care a chance. Kaydance at the front desk was amazing! She had great customer service and so much patience with all my questions.. she was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable about my first time experience! The front desk was very clean. The dr was also very nice! He even shook my hand at the end. Great experience overall! Will definitely recommend this location all my friends and family!
It was very pleasant. I was feeling miserable and they were understanding and accommodating. All were so pleasant and helpful. Thank you. ❤️
Easy to schedule appointment. I arrived earlier and they were able to see me sooner as there was a no show.
Awesome staff and much better than an ER for many purposes. Made an appointment and was seen within an hour of showing up.
Great service for being a walk in. Reception was great and Back office and Doc were fast, to the point and out in 20 min! Thank you!
They didn’t send me my labs after visiting. Ever. I have to go ask for them and wait in line again. Kinda unprofessional.
The receptionist was very kind and efficient. We were lucky and the only ones there. So we zoomed in and out.
BEWARE they will give you the wrong antibiotics to treat an ear infection. Gave me a zpack but should have given me amoxicillin. I went to a different urgent care where they were confused on why I was given a zpack first since amoxicillin is the first line of treatment. Now that I had to finish a zpack- I now have a bilateral ear infection. Fluid in both ears.
My prescription is still not called in and it’s been almost 18 hours. For a place that opens early and closes at midnight they might want to do the job they are there for.
Would give zero stars if possible. Don’t Go Here.Worst experience I’ve had to date at a next care. The doctor was rude, presumptive, had no bedside manner. She imposed her beliefs on my care and after care. Not providing me the same care she would anyone else as I am a breastfeeding mother. She was unable to help me in any manner In the two hours I was there aside from a steroid. Which, is the only aspect of yesterday’s ordeal I’m grateful for, yet would have received anywhere with much better service. Two hours of my time were spent to be told she would not drain my massive cyst that had been causing me excruciating pain, I had been there just two days prior, and was told to return when it became larger and closer to the surface, which I did, but was turned away for a second time without any care to my treatment. She also called one of my doctors (which would seem against protocol) simply because she was not trusting me at my word due to an office error not having my correct file. When she spoke to said doctor and got off the phone, she then made false promises on behalf of another provider to me about being seen right away, which, when I had called the office after leaving Next Care, they had no record of her call, and we’re not able to book me until two weeks later. Gross negligence of care. I know it was a misunderstanding, but she misunderstood that I worked in dermatology due to me saying that I was working with a dermatologist for treatment.Brazenly and very rudely told me that I knew exactly what I needed to be taking and exactly what I needed to be doing when in reality I have no darn clue. . . Almost as if to shove in my face I wasn’t good at my job. But jokes on her that’s not my job and you showed your true colors.I would never recommend this office or the practitioner Dr Sara Alder. She even had another representative come in, essentially to bully me into accepting that they would not be treating me. After doing so they tried to pawn me off on the dermatologists that I already frequent who sent me to a NextCare to begin with as there is nothing more than can do while I am breastfeeding. The manager Crystal is no better, she didn’t seem to want to see hear or validate any of my experience when approached with the issue.Sure I’ve had good experiences here but this last time was just THE WORST I will never be going there again and tell everyone I know to support elsewhere. What’s worse is I’ve gone here since it opened for many needs including having my cyst being drained 3 -5 separate times. Dr Sara Alder is a dermatologist herself, which she flaunts, no one better to excise my cyst than her, but she refused where many other providers before her, non-dermatologists, cared more for my relief in my treatment, and aided in my said relief.I was lucky to have a friend there to advocate for me when she started backpedaling on some of her statements. She also had put in my prescription to be picked up in correctly so I had to wait over 12 hours to have it corrected and sent to the correct pharmacy all due to her incompetence. The pharmacist even told me that she should know better than to enter the dose she did. Which was a half dose I might add because I’m breastfeeding. Not her decision to make. She only sent me two days worth as well full knowing I’d not been seen for relief for over a week.Sure seems like her aim was to make me suffer not to help.
I came her with my daughter because she was sick. They tested her for the flu and said it was negative and referred us to the hospital. After going to the hospital and testing for other possible causes, they tested her for the flu again and it was positive.
Great experience. Was a walk in after being referred by Military Nurse Advice Line, had a brief wait but was way quicker than any other walk in clinic I’ve visited. Clean environment, helpful staff and overall would go back.
Wait time was very bad. They should give an estimate if its really backed up. I waited 45 minutes, drove to get gas, drove home, worked, then drove back to the lot. I waited an hour and a half total. The staff were very nice and professional, though. I appreciate how great they were.
If you have an appointment be prepared to wait until at least 2 hours after your scheduled appointment, while walk ins go in before you.
The tech that did the initial assessment and vitals was very kind and made me feel calm and safe. She seemed to listen and be compassionate and understanding. The provider got me what I needed without using up time.
I was seen immediately. No wait time when scheduling online. Theyre very gentle with my grandson and we didnt have to hang out and wait for results. They called promptly when they got the test results and relieved our minds thank you so much. God bless
The doctor or possibly a nurse practitioner said what I have is viral and just over the counter meds will due. I told her I am prone to sinus infections and I have asthma. She said if symptoms get worse, go to the emergency room. So in other words dont come back here. Now two days after my appointment, Im running a 101 fever and hardly slept last night from coughing up phlegm. You dont have to worry doc, I wont come back to you.
A very positive experience. Office staff and medical personnel were competent and friendly. My nurse practitioner was very pleasant and personable, explained everything, and she did a great job on my finger. Thank you!
Amazing NextCare staff! The intake specialist professional and caring. Extreme customer service and family friendly!!!! Thank you
Needed to get a sports physical for my daughter. Scheduling was easy and checkin was seamless. Staff were all great! The scheduled appointment time was 1115 and when we got to the office and checked in by 11, 2 others were on waitlist before us. However, we were triaged within 20 minutes or so but were not seen until after 12. Usually we are seen in a more prompt manner so not sure really for the delay. Love this office though and will continue to be seen here when needed. Thank you.
Quick &Easy Dr.was the greatest!Very thorough Exam.Front Desk Staff were very helpful,& concerned for us all.Thank you.
Everyone at nextcare was great!!! Very courteous, attentive to my needs, and friendly!!! Explained everything they had to do before doing so. Just down right good experience for not feeling well and needing help!!! I recommend this place and I will use them again.Thank you to all who helped!!
Highly disappointed. There is no urgency at this facility. Had a chest xray and was told that I would be called in a couple of hours with results. I have not heard back from anyone. I have placed 3 calls in the past 24 hours. Each time I had to hold for over 20 minutes. I spoke to an actual person twice and was told that someone would call me back. It’s been over 6 hours now and still no call. Why take an xray and not respond with results? I would appreciate a response from someone in charge on the next business day.I had worked in healthcare for 38 years. I have never seen the degree of apathy anywhere, like this.
Guys didnt know how to take my sons blood pressure. And the doctor walked in and not even 60 seconds he told me that he had pink eye without even touching him or anything and we left. Wasnt the best customer service skills. It felt like they didnt care and was just trying to get us out the door. Was not impressed.
My only complaint is that I had a scheduled appointment. I was made to wait behind the walk ins with no communication as to why I had to wait despite having an appointment.
I got to my appointment 5 mins early. Checked in and there were 4 people in front of me. After being taken to a room I was forgot and had to go out and ask someone if I was going to be seen. Doctor comes in we do our thing, doctor insists on a Covid test and felt I was not listened to. Was forgot again after the test, had to walk out and ask for my results. Overall it took almost three hours for the doctor to tell me what I told them I thought it was. Never received an apology .
Came in coughing and thinking I might have Pneumonia and told them my chest was heavy so they did an EKG, and sent me to the ER because it was abnormal. They are thorough. Very little wait time, everyone is professional and kind.
Fast and painless... The should have some type of video or something for the little ones though. Other than that I will go back again.
Pretty much at the last minute, I needed to schedule a sports physical for my daughter, and the process of scheduling was easy, the staff were very helpful in getting me the right forms, and the nurse practitioner was amazing and thorough, and did not seem to be only checking boxes. She asked my daughter questions to assure that she was physically prepared for the season.
I had a seriously cracked heel and two cuts on my foot that didn’t heal and had caused pain for 3 weeks causing me problems walking. The NP walked into the exam room and failed to come close enough to barely look at my heel, made a comment that I had dog hair on my socks, failed to look at the other two cuts until I asked about them, she still stood far away without getting close enough to even see them and implied the issue was my hygiene even tho I said I had been cleaning constantly, using antibacterial cream, salt soaking and bandaging my foot for weeks. It was insulting, unprofessional and rude. Overall, the NP didn’t even get close enough to get a good look at my foot to make ANY medical examination, much less a determination.
Not sure where the 4+ star reviews are coming from. Potentially fake and/or given by friends and family. This place took forever to help my daughter only to spend 2 minutes with her in the room. Meanwhile you can hear the staff laughing and having the time of their lives in the back with several empty rooms and a full lobby.4+ hour wait.Look elsewhere.
I’m super disappointed in the service I received.. the “doctor” I saw asked me, the one who needs doctors advise and help, what I want them to do for me… I’m sorry is that how this works? Am I suppose to put my greys anatomy training to the test in a doctors office that is suppose to be doing the doctoring?? I’m coming for help and they are asking me what to do?! What kind of help is that! I’d be better off asking my small child to give me medical advise then that joke of a doctor… absolutely outraged and disappointed! Not only that but he was in such a rush to get me out he didn’t even listen to my concern at all!!
Everyone was very nice. I felt taken care of. It was a good experience. If the need arises I will choose nextcare again.
I had an online appointment booked for 4:15. I got into a room at 4:45 and then I was told there wasn’t an x ray tech on duty until 6 o’clock. I returned at 6 and wasn’t seen until 6:45. I should have been first in line. I will never go back to Nextcare. Oh and while I was sitting in the lobby, the girl with two side ponytails was reading these comments and having a laugh. Good to know.
Quick, and doc listened to my concerns and I felt like I was treated appropriately. Great customer service
I think it is great that I was able to schedule an urgent care appointment and fill out paperwork online. It made the wait time minimal and less stressful when I was not feeling good. All team members were kind and helpful. The doctor I saw was able to get me the help I needed quickly. If I were ever to need urgent care again, I’d definitely come back to this location.
Check in was smooth and front desk staff nice. Thats the only pleasant bit about this review.Sitting in exam room currently. Our appointment time was scheduled for 1.5 hours prior. Can hear staff chatting and laughing. No real service being performed for us. I think staff need to work on turn around times, this is ridiculous. Go find a different care centre if you can.If you find my review helpful, please click like.
I booked an online appointment that was within one hour of going online. I arrived on time, was seen, and left that office within one hour of arriving, even though there were people in the clinic when I arrived, and a steady stream of people kept showing up while I waited for my appointment. I was able to get my prescription filled the same day and start taking my medication that evening. The entire staff was very pleasant and extremely competent. I highly recommend this location for your urgent care needs!
Excellent service once in back office....FNP Owen was wonderful and so were the techs. Highly recommend this provider!!Front desk staff were opposite, unprofessional behavior, delayed discharge due to paperwork left sitting on the desk. Neither wearing identification.
Very fast service. Professional. 30 minutes for an eye problem from walk in to out. Very pleased.
My almost 2 year old has had a cough for over 4 weeks and his pediatrician at square and compass children’s clinic wouldn’t prescribe him anything and/or antibiotics and said he was fine. We finally came to urgent care when it got worse today and the doctor immediately understood the severity of the situation and handled it with professionalism, knowledge and care. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone that needs medical care!
Walk-in at 340 on a monday(no appts until8), able to wait in car/complete checkin via phone, seen at 425 for triage/MA and by Provider at 450. Provider(Nunez) was super friendly, great with children and communicated well. Promptly sent prescription. Checkout took 3min.
Brought my daughter and today 3 years old and extreme pain saying it hurts to go potty and it hurts down there.Im taking her there before she has a history of UTIs were there forever they would not give her anything until she went pee I told them Ive been giving her fluids all day she refuses to go pee and screaming because it hurts obviously theres a problem obviously she has a urinary tract infection they wouldnt do anything just letting her sit there and cry.Mind you Ive been there before and they treated her without having a urine sample but this old hag wouldnt
Easy to book appt. Always on time, paperwork is done on your own phone. Drs and staff are super friendly and the Dr always diagnoses and prescribes the right meds sent to my pharmacy. Ive been going there when needed multiple times over sevreal years.
I just had a beyond awful experience here by someone named Sarah, I believe? I usually have had decent appointments and nothing “problematic” has ever happened. I get seen, get the help I need, and then I leave. It’s a simple process. But tonight was awful and it made me feel even lower than I could be given that I was told to come back if my pain worsen (which it had). Sarah came in, she mumbled a hello, I told her what my issue was and got on the exam table. She looked at me and refused to help??? Even though I have had this procedure done here on multiple occasions…??She outright said no and tried to argue with me. She said, “go to the ER, I don’t feel comfortable helping you.” Which left me more confused and distraught given my advice from my appointment on Friday was to come back if my pain worsen???Needless to say, she was NOT kind during this encounter either and I left crying since I did what I was told to do and did not get the service I was use to at this location. I did get a refund which was nice of the lady working the front desk, but it was wasted time and I am still in pain.
I arrived, was greeted and given paperwork quickly. The staff was so friendly, sweet and welcoming. I was instantly comfortable. They informed me of every step and my wait was not too long thankfully. Paperwork is super easy with their online access. Makes things go faster. I also love the fact that you can watch your live waitlist, you always know your spot. Doctor Straw was awesome and his medical assistant as well. Great experience even though I’m sick. I left very pleased with the service and care I received.
Made an appointment two days in advance only to walk in and be like told Id have to wait an hour. Would it have been any different if I just walked in? No. So whats the point of making an appointment? To reserve your spot. But thats not how it worked....Theres literally no point to book an appointment, disorganized and extremely unhelpful. Wish I could find basic healthcare with the two insurances I have.
My son needed stitches after cutting himself. We got in fast and everyone was amazing and they dealt with alot as my son has a very low pain threshold and didnt make it exactly easy but memorable Im sure... They Are open till 12pm and Id definitely recommend them. THE STAFF IS AMAZING
We pre-booked a 1:15 appointment. And as it got later and later we heard they were backed up because a staff member took a longer lunch than they were supposed to. This seems to be something that shouldnt happen, as it affected so many people, including their own staff.
This was such a great experience! This is hands down the BEST medical experience Ive had to date. Not just the best Urgent Care. The staff was so helpful and kind you can tell they actually care about you. I couldnt recommend this place more. Genuinely, thank you guys for treating me last night you are all amazing.
5-19-23My son has pink eye, we went at 6:40pm & was seen pretty fast. The doctor, she was the best. The nicest people in this place.
The care here is very good. This facility is my go-to when I need treatment in the evening hours or more immediately than my primary doctor’s schedule would allow. They genuinely have invested themselves in helping me through some difficult situations and go the extra mile every time I’m here.
I brought my wife in because she wasn’t feeling well. The staff from the front desk to the triage to the doctor could not have been more caring and compassionate. They got her in quickly and took good care of her. This was a great experience.
The lobby had been renovated and looks amazing now, although they never follow appointments, I waited over an hour when I booked an appointment 3 hours before arrival and showed up 20 minutes before. Nurses stayed in the back chatting while lobby was full. Sadly they only have one provider a day clearly doing all the work- carbon health across the street is a safer option!
Great fast and painless. Thank you for helping my little peanut with her ear infection. ❤️
The best in town! Friendly, professional, wonderful care! When in need, they are there.
I always get good care at Nextcare Urgent Care. Usually you can get in pretty quickly with appointment. Although I waited more than an hour today. Despite being slammed every staff member is thoughtful and thorough.
They made the process for an uninsured person very easy and, thankfully, affordable.
Great practioners. Terrible follow through. X-rays taken prior to 7pm, no results as of 10am the following day.
Waited with a 2 hour wait them knowing I may have a broken rib as I registered online for an appointment onluy to be told. We cant do an X-ray. Go to nearest ER. So Im left in severe pain and am headed to the hospital in pain very irritated. They could have called to let me know. Very inefficient and unprofessional in my estimation. Usually they are good here but this really was uncalled for!
Overall quick service to see a Dr. Under 30 mins on a week day at 200pm. Another Urgent care was going to be over 2+30 wait with five people in front of me. This is the place.
Very friendly, Professional- except when it came to my prescription which was OTC( But I didnt know, because the Pharmacy didnt tell me, nor did Nextcare call me to tell me) I waited 1.5 hrs for medicine that was OVER THE COUNTER- had anyone bothered to inform me................
This “just ok” rating is strictly pointed towards senior management. While Dr. Street and the rest of the staff were great, I can tell that they were rushing the process, because they were overwhelmed. I ask senior management to hire more doctors/staff to address this issue accordingly.(especially with COVID cases are on the rise again).Quick update: I just found out that they messed up my first name and they sent the wrong prescription (cancer/renal medication lol) to the wrong pharmacy. This can’t be real. I don’t know how businesses can be that dysfunctional these days.
NP Nunez and staff were amazing. They took care of my daughter quickly. Very friendly. First time at this urgent care clinic and will definitely be going back for both my kids and I, if needed. Thank you!
Staff was great. Appointment went fairly fast. Less then an hour! Took care of all my issues. My only complaint is it needs a bit of cleaning. The windows and front door were pretty gross. I didnt even want to touch the front door. That might be a property maintenance issue?
Emergency stitches. Great professional care. Thank goodness for them on a Sunday night!
Everyone was absolutely wonderful. Very polite, professional and kept me informed. I appreciate everyone at this NextCare. Such a wonderful team.
Dr Danielle Smith was the absolute best physician. She was very knowledgeable and did a very thorough exam on our daughters for a sports physical. She made sure there was no previous injuries that would compromise the upcoming season, very pleased 100% recommend her!
Nurse practitioner, Shannon was amazing! Quick but personable.
Wonderful quick and easy. Everything I expect in service. Grateful for all that work there
It is weird to say it’s a great experience when you are going because you are sick but it really was. The staff was so friendly, efficient, professional, they did a great job and we are on our way to feeling better because of them.
I appreciate the system they use by letting people make appointments. By being able to notify them when you have arrived and them letting you know when to go inside really makes a huge difference in urgent care. Patients don’t have to sit and wait for long amounts of time in a room full of sick people. The staff was very pleasant.
Sarah—the nurse practitioner—had the worse bedside manners. She did not care one bit for her patient. I will not go back to next care on Harrison & 22nd street in Tucson and will inform friends & family not to either
This place (in particular the Spanish trail office) is amazing! the staff have always been awesome every visit Ive had in the past. when they developed the telemed services which I used for my most recent visit, it made life so much easier!!! it was so so stress-free and the doc was so caring, didnt rush at all and even asked if there were any other issues I was concerned with that I wanted to address!?! it made me feel like I was actually important And not another number wanting to whine about the stupidest thing I could. I also love that they have the app which once filled out stores your info for future need. 10/5⭐
When I went to NextCare I didn’t feel well at allMy doctor wanted to send me to Tucson Medical Center by ambulanceI refused and my daughter took me laterWell I ended up in hospital for two days with extreme exhaustion and possible stroke and heart issueThanks to your doctor things did not get worse and now I am homeTHANKYOU for staying to your diagnosisWhen I said no wayJoyce Matthews
The staff was kind and helpful. They knew I wasnt doing well.Only had to wait 2 hours.Sounds like a long time, but not bad for a walk in.The NP helped me feel cared for, cleaned my eye & the staff called an eye specialist to see me the same day.Thank you all so much !!
My boyfriend visited your location twice. The first time about 2-3 weeks ago. The guy who he saw didnt even check his ears, nose, or throat. He performed tests on strep throat and a flu. Tests were negative and he send him home with a z pak. However it didnt make him feel better. He had to return second time because he felt sick. This time the woman looked at him and diagnosed him with double ear and sinus infection. It made me mad because I think this guy misdiagnosed him because he didnt even look at his patient and his condition got worse. What kind of care is it????After this visit, doctor prescribed him 3 medications. After 45 minutes wait we found out that they didnt receive prescriptions. We had to go back and asked for paper medications. The front desk person told me that doctor forgot to send prescriptions?? What kind of care is it? My boyfriend felt miserable and had to go at this point to the different 24 hour Walgreens and wait for another 45 minutes.I think this is a terrible patient care. Because of your incompetent providers, my boyfriend had to make two visits, his health condition got significantly worth, missed work for many days, and even pick up medications at a pharmacy was a terrible experience. This is unacceptable patient care because there is no care at all!!!
Great place. Limited wait time and I did all my paperwork on my phone.
My daughter was seen twice within a few days and both times we had great care and all staff were compassionate. We were in and out within an hour during both visits. Unfortunately the first visit required X-rays and the machine was down but the NP issued an order to radiology and we went the next day. Second visit the doctor was thorough and quick. He diagnosed my daughter and Gave her medicine and we were sent home with a prescription. We were satisfied and pleased with her care.
Great service by doctors and assistant… waited a reasonable amount of time… about 35 min.Recommended for young kids 😊
My daughter was in an auto accident and went in to be examined. She arrived at 7pm as the office staff were discussing dinner plans, when they commented that now they would have to wait longer since my daughter was there. She instantly felt like she was not welcome and wanted to leave but knew she needed to be seen. The staff assessed her but did not have x-ray capability so they put her hand in a moldable splint and wrapped it. When they splinted her hand, they didnt bother making sure it was in a nuetral position and she was in so much pain the next day, and her hand was incredibly swollen. The care professionals at the ortho office were confused as to why anyone properly trained would place a broken hand in a splint that was not in a nuetral position. Apparently they were in a hurry to go to dinner.Have not had any response from customer care in Tempe though we have called a few times.Marking Nextcare off our list of possible care providers.
Took my daughter in for flu symptoms. The doctor was very thorough and informative. The only downside I can mention is the wait time. I scheduled an appointment online for 1pm, and didnt get called back until 2:30. But, it is an Urgent Care, so I understand there may have been patients that needed quick attention.
I made an appointment at 8 showed up early was taken back and dismissed at 8. Great staff and provider! Walgreens didn’t have the medicine needed for my daughter came back and provider quickly put in another prescription.
It took a couple hours but the care was excellent, the people were friendly. The nurse practitioner was wonderful and took her time examining a cyst I had on my leg. I feel that I got better care than I get in my doctors office!
Ive definitely had good experiences here before. Theyre close to my house, and overall theyre the place I look for when theres a problem.Back in March, the staff took care of me pretty well when I sprained my ankle late at night and didnt want to go to an ER, despite their x-ray not working at the time.Today I came in for some sort of GI flare up. The provider wanted to do one of two meds, the nurse came back in contradicting what the provider said and said they dont even have that here. They also only wanted to treat symptoms and not figure out what was wrong. I feel like communication this round wasnt great, and Im probably going to reconsider NextCare the next time I need an urgent care and look elsewhere.
I went in by appointment. Made the appointment over the phone filled out paperwork online. Once I was in, I was out with in the hour. Had to go 3 times due to my illness but they were always helpful, polite and prompt.
Even though they recommend appointments, I waited until 8 am with my 3 sick kids. They got us right in with minimal waiting time. The staff was BEYOND kind and helpful. The doctor for that day was caring and truly wanted to help my kids. I cannot recommend this place enough. The two ladies upfront are what I consider the dream team.
