I am thoroughly disappointed with the service at Boston IVF. Reaching out to them is nearly impossible—theres no way to speak with someone live, and when you finally connect with a staff member, they are completely unhelpful. Having an actual question about your care plan seems to be an affront to them, as they belittle you for seeking clarity. They have consistently messed up critical elements of our care. They’ve bungled medicine orders, missed appointments in their system, and provided no follow-up on test reports. Shockingly, they even had incorrect information about us and our medical history. This level of incompetence is unacceptable.Boston IVFs approach feels incredibly disingenuous; you’re treated like just another number being pushed through their flawed system. The lack of genuine care and professionalism is appalling. Avoid this place if you value your health and peace of mind.
While we did have a positive consultation experience with Dr. Resetkova in January, and would have gladly proceeded in working with them....we found working with the billing office to be unusually stressful and unpleasant. The hostility we faced over trying to get claims submitted to insurance was unprecedented and clearly sought to abuse us of our rights as consumers. Though we did eventually succeed and the claims were submitted, no one should have to make such a concerted effort to avoid a blatant consumer rights violation under state and federal regulations in addition to Boston IVF contractual obligations with our insurance. If using this clinic, please do know your rights as a consumer and be prepared to self advocate.
I was originally a patient with baystate IVF, was never informed that they closed down and no one called me. I waited five months for an appt that no longer existed. Once I got in touch with someone through Boston IVF (since they bought out baystate ivf) I was told that they were going to bring me in as soon as possible and was told that they were tentatively putting me in for match 8th. They were prompt to get my insurance information and was told I was going to get an appt confirmed that week, this was over a month and a half ago. And the appt they put me down never existed, and I was never called about it. I have called 3 separate times and left voice mails and not a single person can call me back. I have been waiting 7 months for a fertility appt and feel very defeated with this whole process.
I honestly do not know how a company with more than millions cannot hire a receptionist to answer calls. I was told to call the nurse for next steps… 2 weeks later no call back. The only one who answers once in a while is the admin and thru email. I understand they are busy and drs and nurses do not get paid to answer the phones but if you are telling me to CALL what is the point? Very frustrating about to cancel the whole process
Absolutely terrible experience. Constantly got the runaround from staff. We called to challenge a bill and were told it was being reviewed by their team and they would let us know. Followed up several times, always got the same answer. We never heard from them about it… until we were sent to collections. Seems like the “review process” was an excuse to avoid talking to us about our problems with their service. Can’t speak to the quality of their customer service because a dozen calls (with voicemails) to the patient advocate went unanswered. Go elsewhere.
They told me three times that my lab tests would be covered by insurance . The doctor reassured me, patient care attendant , nurse and secretary. I have a large bill and was misinformed . Boston IVF please do better with your business administration. I would not write a I’ll review if I did not see that it would benefit others to here my experience. Hopefully you will not misinform people in the future .
We were referred to Dr. David Ryley last year, and we are so glad we went to him at Boston IVF! He is an incredible fertility doctor; he’s very honest, kind, and he has a wealth of knowledge and experience. I was happy that he didn’t assume my fertility issues were due to me being overweight, like many other fertility doctors do before testing and finding out the actual root cause of the fertility issue. Both my husband and I appreciated his scientific, non-judgmental approach, and for how he clearly and compassionately communicated and explained everything to us. He was wonderful to work with, as was his nurse Louise and all of the staff at Boston IVF in the Boston, Waltham, and Lexington offices where we were treated. Dr. Ryley made our dreams of a baby come true, and we will forever be grateful to him and everyone at Boston IVF. We highly recommend seeing Dr. Ryley if you are having fertility issues.
No proper response. Different prices for same diagnostic test in different locations. They are not concerned about the patients , just business minded.
Awesome experience with Dr. Nishant , all staff members are very good. Again Very good service, taking care in every step!!!
