I have had nothing but a wonderful experience. I traveled from CA to use this clinic because the price was right. Also the research is very up to date and innovative medication protocols had me feeling GREAT the entire IVF cycle. I do not know if I have fallen(RISEN) pregnant yet, but I just wanted to say thank you.The staff was kind and you can tell everyone really loves working there. A bunch of happy chatter and laughing and giggling in the background made me feel warm and glad to be a part of a happy workplace. They ran on time or EARLY. I was taken care of, made to laugh, followed up with, followed through with, and given great care and consideration for my travel situation. On call nurses were always at the ready. They were great at cooperating with my local fertility clinic in California, and while I project managed a little bit to make sure communication was timely, I never felt stressed or frustrated and this is the medical system so come on, that’s a huge win!I am happy to have discovered CNY. I am happy to have experienced innovative healthcare protocols. And I am grateful to feel GOOD in a time when it is easy to feel sorry for ourself or sadness against the realities of infertility. I hope everyone the best of luck and good fortune on their journey. Thanks again CNY.Update: failed IVF cycle and a lot of random charges after, have been difficult to deal with in addition to coming down off the extensive medications and grieving the loss. Seems they keep getting the CC info wrong? We are on attempt number 3 for $50 storage fee. 😣 salt in the wound!
Nothing but good things to say about this office. Dr. Fink is incredibly kind and truly cares about his patients. Ryan CRNA was so comforting when I was nervous about sedation. The nursing staff especially nurse Leighton were so kind and compassionate. Very impressed with this office and their staff. Would recommend to anybody and everybody. What an amazing group of people to help others in such a difficult season of life. I am so thankful for all of their help!
The staff at CNY Colorado Springs are fantastic! The nursing staff is always very helpful and enthusiastic. We have done two egg retrievals there that went very smoothly. Brandis has done all three of our transfers and helped us get pregnant with our first CNY baby! She is wonderful and very personable and I can’t wait for her to do our next transfer!
I had a great experience with CNY fertility Colorado specifically. The medical team (nurses, embryology, etc) was fantastic, super easy to work with and knowledgeable, and Dr Fink was awesome. The billing and online portal have many hiccups. They billed me for the wrong kind of transfer, the portal app is a nightmare, I suggest using a laptop version, but otherwise nothing but positive experiences!
I went to CNY Colorado Springs in August 20/24 for a second time FET, from Houston, Texas. The first one was in November 23, but it failed that time. I had to admit that I was so concerned and overwhelmed this second chance that I didnt know what to spect, but all the staff were so kind and helpful since I got in to the office that helped me to have a peace of mind. They start to prepared me for the transfer into the room created for myself. The nurse Amber showed up and explained me so nicely all about the procedure, post treatment, medication etc, etc. Then Dr Randy Fink came with so much positivism and I remember his words What if I get you pregnant ....and he started the procedure so gently, explaining step by step all about to be happened, they called the embryologist that brought my frozen embryo that Dr Fink transfered direct to my uterus. All that took around 15 to 20 minutes. Let me tell you that the stress comes right after for the waiting time to see if your Beta gives a positive. The good news were given to me on August 30, my HCG Beta came positive. I couldnt believe it but God made the miracle and used CNY professional staff to show his power. I dont have nothing but great things to say. Thank you Dr. Fink and nurse Amber, and all the personal that collaborate to make my pregnancy come true!!!
I had my retrieval last week and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff in Colorado Springs! I tend to be a hard stick when it comes to getting an IV and everyone was so encouraging and understanding while working through it. Special shoutout to Ryan who went above and beyond throughout the whole process; you really touched my heart and made my retrieval day extra special! Thank you to everyone and I can not wait till I get to share photos if my little one with you!
I just had my egg retrieval this past week, we were wanting to do a fresh embryo transfer but my hormones werent what they needed to be so I was advised to freeze all embryos. I definitely understood and didnt want to waste an embryo. What I wasnt told was that the fresh transfer that is included in the bundle is a use it or lose it type thing and I will have to pay over 1k more for a frozen transfer. (That doesnt include what Ill need to pay to travel back gas/hotel/food) I think thats pretty slimy and definitely a money grab. I went into this planning a fresh transfer and it was out of my control when I couldnt...why should I have to pay more!? The first frozen transfer should be apart of the package IF your planned fresh transfer cannot happen because of things you cant control!!!!Otherwise I had a very great experience. All the staff was amazing, kind, and knowledgeable. My nurse Tara was so kind and made me feel relaxed. The CRNA Kelly, was great and explained things well. While most of my time with Dr.Fink was under anesthesia, the brief interaction before my procedure was good. Hes very kind, answered my question and made me feel comfortable. His dad jokes are top notch!! Id definitely recommend CNY Colorado to anyone going through IVF!
Take it from the wife of a local COS urologist: AVOID THIS PLACE at all cost. They have an awful reputation amongst the local medical community. I had my own terrible experience and wish I had headed the warnings of others prior to choosing to do IVF here. It was a series of mistakes, miscommunications (or lack thereof), and plain negligence. The staff lacks competency in all areas of fertility treatment. To boot, they have unethical billing practices and even tried to bill for appointments that never occurred. I had to get my insurance involved and inform them that they were paying for services never rendered. I am now getting endless erroneous bills going as far back as 8 years ago and am contemplating hiring legal counsel to take care of this once and for all. There are far superior options for fertility clinics. Go to Denver!
Unfortunately this fertility clinic and those in management are dishonest and do not follow through with what they say they are going to do. Its been TWO YEARS of phone calls and emails for a reimbursement they agreed to and we still have never recieved. I cannot imagine the dishonesty that happens with their patients behind the scenes as well. I would not recommend going here. Our experience with CYN Fertility has been filled with promises unkept.
Today I had my embryo transfer at the Colorado location . To say I was scared was an understatement I was TERRIFIED and panicked but DR.FINK was a literal angel on earth ! He was so sweet , gentle, understanding and patient with me. That was exactly what I needed in that moment 🥹 I couldn’t thank him and the nurse that helped me enough I didn’t feel a thing . Now we play the waiting game and are hopeful we have a successful outcome 💕💕 thank you cny and staff
We are so in love with our active happy girl, 9 months old! Can’t thank you enough! CNY CO staff were most encouraging and supportive throughout our process! She’s our whole world! Trying for siblings now 🤞🏽
I normally do not write reviews but felt the need to warn others of the deceptive and unethical practices at CNY.Firstly, the pricing on their website is nowhere close to what you will pay. There are several reviews here citing the deceptive billing practices of CNY. To make matters worse it’s impossible to get someone on the phone in billing or the clinic.Second, you will never see or talk to a doctor. CNY Colorado has no fertility doctors. Your treatment will be copy and paste and will be determined by the nurses at the clinic. The nurses at the clinic are kind and are working within a system that sets their patients up for failure.Third, you will feel like a number here. Brandis performed my HSG, ER, and transfer and introduced herself to me on three separate occasions. It would’ve taken a quick glance at my chart to see we had met already. After I miscarried the staff there did not seem to be aware before entering the room. At both of my appointments staff came into the room in a cheery mood and kept mentioning how far along I should’ve been. This made me feelIncredibly small and that I did not matter. It made an already tough situation significantly worse.Overall, understand the allure and the price seems to make this an accessible option. However, you will pay more in the long run and are more likely to end up without a live birth. Please look at their SART success rates and make an educated decision. We’ve moved on to a better clinic and feel supported and confident in our upcoming treatment.
Paid to go through IVF. Never once spoke with or met a doctor. Had bad guidance throughout the process, with last minute monitoring requests every time making it difficult to get monitoring appointments. Had a bad call from a nurse to not take a medication and it ruined our entire cycle. We traveled to the clinic and they confirmed that it was the nurse’s bad call that lost us nearly $9k in medication and almost another thousand for travel (also again last minute). Never heard from CNY again. No doctor discussing what happened, not even a nurse or PA discussing what happened or what to expect when coming off of the intense, invasive and painful medication cycle. I had to make appointments with my local doctors to ask questions and get follow on information, without ever actually going through IVF - just the pain, cost and medications. Reporting them to the Colorado Medical Board and the medical boards of every state they operate in. This is not a legitimate medical organization and they do not care AT ALL about their patients safety or well-being.
While the nursing staff here is for the most part wonderful, they are overworked and sometimes understaffed leading to gaps in communication between doctors/nurses/patients.I had an ectopic pregnancy which was originally a pregnancy of unknown origin as it was not visible on US, until it was. The appointment before I was told to go straight to the ER, I asked the nurse I had that day if it was normal that my resting pulse was close to 100 when it is normally 45 or 50. I was told it was fine. And to come back in 3 to 4 days for another US. Turns out, no visualization on US plus a pregnancy hormone of the level I had plus this resting pulse rate is certainly cause for alarm according to practice management guidelines from medical organizations and professional papers. This lack of knowledge by staff and/or lack of communication on the signs and symptoms of ectopic pregnancy cost me my right tube and almost my life as I was bleeding internally by the time I got to the hospital. This surgery led to me effectively requiring IVF to become pregnant again as I had previously been notified from test results that my left tube was blocked. After taking 3 months to recover, I tried IVF at CNY as I was under the impression this was my only option. The provider went out of network in the middle of my cycle after Id been coming there for almost a year already. Nobody informed me of this. Not CNY, not my health insurance company. I didnt find this out until 6 to 8 months later when the accounting dept finally processed the claims. By this time, I had to fight with my health insurance company for 1 to 3 months to get these claims considered as in network. Now I am likely going to have another 6 to 8 months for CNY to reprocess these claims in their system while Im paying a bill I no longer owe to avoid collections issues. Heres to hoping they actually refund me but Im not keeping my hopes up.My IVF was unsuccessful but that is what it is. You cant control everything. However, the combination of accounting issues and lack of appropriate care for my ectopic pregnancy led to my 2 star review. Im still in therapy from the trauma I went through with this process.4 early miscarriages, 1 ectopic pregnancy and 1 missed miscarriage and it seems like Ill still be muddling through the paperwork and bills related to this process a year from now. Its hard to get over trauma when you have to constantly be reminded of it and actually have to pay your hard earned money for something you dont owe because youve been balance billed.
If you can afford to go elsewhere, do. The billing practices at CNY are so deceptive. I have had multiple bills where they waited too long to charge insurance, or charged incorrectly, and then charged me for those services after insurance told them too bad, its been more than 6 months since the service. I then have to FIGHT to have these bills waived. But it is hard to fight a bill when you cannot reach someone in the call center and your portal messages are met with gaslighting and excuses and circular responses. Or lets talk about being billed twice for embryo storage, once on time and then having it magically start appearing again on statements 16 months later...when CNY was a local office only (my experience was in 2020), I appreciated the in office care and staff. But having to continue to deal with billing issues years later is exhausting.
Forever grateful for CNY Colorado: the front desk staff, RNs Katie and Mary, NP Brandis, Dr. Fink, Dr. Kiltz, and Dr. Neuhausser for my miracle baby. The staff helped me navigate a tough situation after retrieval and Brandis made my transfer as painless as possible.
Serious lack of integrity! After repeated attempts to contact CNY, I can do nothing else but go the internet. Before going to this place, you need to ask yourself if you are willing to deal with doctors/staff that lack integrity. We were not clients, but we have been affected by CNY. More than 18 months ago (Labor Day weekend, 2022), my family and I parked in the parking lot at CNY along with about 50 other cars early (before 7:00 am) on a Saturday morning. When we arrived back at the parking lot around 10:15 am, our car was gone. We called the police because we believed that our car had been stolen. After about an hour of scrambling to find our stolen car and on the phone with police, we noticed that there were people inside the office. The lady running the front desk notified us that the office manager at CNY called a nearby towing company and had all vehicles towed from the parking lot. She then proceeded to tell us that her manager (Ms. Munoz) had gone to Home Depot and purchased Tow Away Zone signs and posted them around the parking AFTER all of the cars were already parked there. There were no signs when we arrived before 7:00 am. She notified us that the cars were taken to a lot owned by Klaus Towing.Upon arrive at Klaus Towing, the lady behind the desk informed us that she had warned Ms. Munoz about the backlash that was about to take place by towing nearly 20 cars that were in the parking lot (the other owners had already taken their cars away before being towed). Despite the warning from the tow company, Ms. Munoz told them to tow the cars anyway.Since that time, Ms. Munoz has informed me on multiple occasions that CNY will reimburse us for our $343.28 that was taken from us from this scam. However, after 18 months, we still have not received that money back. These people lack integrity. Deal with them at your own risk.
Pretty sure most negative reviews are from before CNY took over or about the billing process and not this clinic in particular. I love CNY, it has given me the ability to try multiple times whereas I would not be able to do that with my local clinic. I love working with all the staff from Dr. Fink and NP Montez, to all the nurses and MAs.
Im super frustrated as a patient of 3 years, the use of social media and symbolism have created a permanent chasm in my relationship. Scam a bunch? Look at the amount of reviews from their top reviews. As a reasonable person I would encourage patients to seek adoption. There are children suffering from starvation and needing a family that will love them, throughout the world.
My wife and I LOVE LOVE CNY. They are all amazing who work here. I would give 5 stars, but the patient accounting team who doesnt work at this location is our only problem. They are damn near impossible to reach and when answering messages on the portal; well they only answer half of the message. They never answer the phone when we call. Other then that, we love going here and they make us feel like family.
Absolutely fantastic place to go for fertility treatments. Dr. Fink is the best doctor ever!! It’s such a nice environment and everyone really wants the best outcome for you.
I had my ER Wednesday and the staff and Dr. Fink were just lovely. They were so nice and patient in walking me through all the steps and protocol for my procedure. My nurse Lupe, she was just amazing and took the time to ask questions and clarify information for me. I couldnt be happier with the clinic and staff. My transfer is scheduled for Saturday and I just cannot wait to be in a place that has a staff who are supportive and concerned with my well-being. I just love it here.
Brandis was absolutely amazing for my 2 transfers she has done in the past.~Victoria Schmall
After reading some of the negative reviews I can’t help but remember our experience at this clinic and the level of emotional torment and professional incompetence my wife and I experienced. We went through three cycles of IVF and every step of the process was accompanied by phone call chases, unprofessionalism by CNY accounting staff, lack of procedural knowledge and outright lying to us in order to justify or conceal their professional incompetence. Someone wrote that you feel like a number to them and it’s a numbers game for their coffers and that’s exactly how we felt all three times. We finally got fed up and started searching for an overseas clinic and found solace in Next Fertility Nordic in Tallinn, Estonia. We now have a beautiful baby girl a year and a half old and just returned from a second trip there with the second bun in the oven - both successful procedures from the first go. There is something to say about putting you to ease and truly giving you individual attention that a want-to-be mother deserves. Im a man and a husband and can only speak from my perspective as I see it but I highly recommend getting your passport and traveling to Estonia. Your chances of success are much higher and still at a fraction of the cost, with living expenses included. This is not to ravage the hard working nurses at CNY but it’s not the individuals but the business model and systems they have established that don’t give you a higher chance of success.
I had the Best Experience with this place! My daughter was born 02/28/2023, Best decision I ever made was to come to CNY.
I wanna say this facility has the nicest people ever . I was nervous going but once I stepped foot in the door I was greeted with kind and respectable people. I got checked in the front and she was so nice once she sees u once she knows your name. She was very kind and helped me out when I left faxing my paper work over to my doctor. My partner was there for surgery and her doctor , Dr fink made her laugh and feel at ease when she went to sleep and when she woke up. Shoutout to the Colorado team, Karen , Mary , Nichole , Kim , Adriana , shea , Kelly you guys are wonderful people . See you soon for the transfer
I felt very comfortable there- all of the staff there were just amazing! We drove 12 hours just to come here and we are beyond happy with the care we received…. Egg retrieval was done today.. thank you all for making me feel relaxed and as comfortable as possible!
Update: pull up all the lawsuits they have multiples in New York who knows what in Florida and Chaos in colorado. Currently one of their nurse practitioners has received a cease and desist for practicing outside of her certifications. Brandis is not supposed to be doing transfers . The South still explains why so many people have been experiencing very high transfer failures. The original Doctor Who owned the clinic prior to CNY was finally booted , countless times making nurses cry and feel undervalued and uneducated. He was very condescending to anyone who was overweight . Dr Robert Kilts who owns all of the facilities used to be a nice and ethical person. Now all he cares about is TV shows, being fake on social media and taking money from people who he knows cannot obtain pregnancy . Unfortunately everyones evaluated by nurses and plans are made by nurses and monitoring is done by nurses and these nurses are always unexperienced low pay nurses. Not after that experience. Uncaring, lack of communication, off schedule, confused me with another patient and gave me wrong med instructions.
It took 8 years for my wife to get pregnant in Texas. We both tried for those 8 years and the clinics were so expensive. We decided to give it a go out here since it was 1/4 the cost. She got pregnant with twins on the first try. She had to have a hysterectomy after delivery but we still wanted one more. I had never had a successful pregnancy even after 25 transfers. We still had 6 embryos left so I wanted to try again. I got pregnant with twins on the first try. Definitely didn’t think I could get pregnant. It can be frustrating trying to get someone on the phone but the cost made it worth it.
I can’t say enough how great full I am for CNY & especially the team in Colorado. We started our IVF journey over a year ago with multiple trips to the Colorado location. Everyone we came in contact with made us feel welcome & cared about. This staff deserves to know how much they have changed my life & countless others. Thank you each one of you for the part you played in creating my family.
After 3 transfers with chromosomal tested embryos at my Dallas clinic that cost 60k for 3 cycles, I got pregnant with 1 cycle at CNY for about 13k. Im working on baby number 2 with them now (today actually! ).Theyre extremely nice. But as others mentioned, YOU are in control of your journey and they might not give you mushy conversations and time like other clinics, but they might just give you a baby without you having to remortgage your home. YOU are in control. If you need something, call them. If you have a question, theyll answer. I prefer the directness honestly.
Avoid at all costs. The level of incompetence is appalling. The financial team is the most infuriatingly lazy and incompetent folks I have encountered, and I work in benefits. They have also blatantly violated HIPAA. They will argue with you and tell you incorrect information, which is when they actually ever answer the phone or return a call. Affordable doesnt mean much when you have insurance coverage but they cannot be bothered to submit. I have an approved prior authorization letter from my insurance and CNY is flat out refusing to submit the claim to my insurance and trying to force me to self-pay. After almost 6 months of this, it seems like a flat out scam rather than just incompetence.Besides this, Id note that my nurse told me during my procedure, while under anesthesia, my leg fell out of the stirrup. So now Im left wondering what kind of damage was done due to this negligence during a sensitive procedure.
Had a terrible experience trying to onboard with this agency for lab services connected to a local docs office as a donor. Was initially that they could work with me, and was even onboarded and guided to create a chart. Then told to schedule procedure with the docs office (while the docs office was telling me the opposite). A week and a half later, they then say they cant work with me because Im not their patient. (So the person who onboarded me was misinformed, clearly, and the multiple people who told me to schedule with the docs office were misinformed...). I could rarely get a human on the phone, had to leave messages that werent returned, was forced to message inside of a portal to a limited group of people (not knowing who to direct a message to) and couldnt hit a simple reply button to respond to whoever messaged me. Terrible platform and system of communication. In the end, giant waste of my precious time, much headache and upset and ultimate disappointment. Nothing should be this complicated.
Very convenient location and easy parking. Not too far from the downtown area. Actually located middle of the Colorado Springs city.
Me and my wife carnisha Allen went hear in November for IVF when we got hear they where all very kind and very good with her and I we have been trying for over 11 years , and the dr kept saying unexplained fertility so we did our first frozen transfer in December and we did or first ultrasound yesterday come to find out we our having identical twin boys man oh man did GOD answer our prayers and we thank the heck out oh these folks for helping us . Salute to all the women who have trouble getting pregnant GOD will take care oh you . This was on our very first try
I couldnt be happier with CNY! I traveled to the Colorado office from North Dakota 6 times in 8 months. I did 2 retrievals and 4 transfer with number 4 being our healthy pregnancy. I did 2 retrievals to bank embryos. The 2nd retrieval I got 23 embryos. 16 of them graded 5AA! Im 40. I am so happy with my results and will be back to transfer my girl in the future! I love the all over approach to priming and adore that they do Q and As everyday on their lives. Theres no place like CNY and Ive been to quite a few fertility clinics. So happy I found them. Dr. KILTz and Fink are amazing. Thank you for my rainbow baby after a 10 year battle and 7 losses! I am happy again ☺️
So I was very nervous coming to this clinic after reading some reviews. First off I absolutely loved my first clinic in Kansas City, however it was gonna cost 10k more locally than with CNY. I had my phone consult and was still very torn. The doctor was just very to the point. I am a baby and felt like I needed a more personable doctor. However after about a week of thinking about the doctor was smart and was very sure of what he was doing. He was also offering me immune protocols other doctors would not. After going through 6 losses I want to do everything possible to have a successful pregnancy. In the end we switched to this clinic. My retrieval was Saturday. I know I wasn’t the only patient that day… but it felt like I was. The staff and doctors were AMAZING!! In and out within in an hour and half. The communication is amazing. I am so thankful for Dr. Magarelli And his entire staff. In the end I decided I wanted a knowledgeable doctor that was willing to throw everything at my dream like I am. And that is exactly what I got, as well as amazing friendly service, and a very personable experience!! Thank you so much 💗. I will hopefully be updating with a success story soon. But if you are on the fence… go with this clinic.
I cant say enough great things about this location, Dr. Fink and the entire staff. I did 5 IUIs locally and then switched to CNY CO for IVF. I had success on my second frozen embryo transfer with Dr. Fink. I gave birth to a healthy and beautiful 10lb 1oz baby boy yesterday, which was also my 34th birthday. I cant think of a better birthday present than to give my fiance the baby shes always wanted. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Fink and and the AMAZING team at CNY CO. ❤️❤️❤️
Waited three weeks for an appointment, and then they called me this morning to tell me they canceled my appointment and Id have to wait three more months for another. Extremely unprofessional, and I will hold CNY responsible if their delay results in future fertility issues for me. Wish that I could give negative stars.
The Colorado Team is so welcoming from the moment we stepped in the facility. We traveled from TX to the Colorado Springs CNY. The front desk crew was so polite and explained everything very well. My nurse Jensine, anesthesiologist Art, embryologist Caitlin & Dr. Fink explained everything to me to the T and made sure I didnt have any worries or questions unanswered for the retrieval.
Five stars because this place gave me my daughter......however, if youre a man coming in for a semen analysis, I recommend you come in in full snowsuit gear, as if you are going to the south pole. The collection room was so cold I saw frost on the walls. That was the first red flag. I should have known when Doctor Fink was the only male here, that these women clearly do not know that cold temperatures essentially make a mans balls go inside his body and make collection hard. Maybe this is why they were smiling when I was reported to be collecting in the freezer. Meanwhile, I was aggressively trying to stop my gravity defying balls from going inside me like a goal keeper.I struggled in sub zero temperatures for hours before a little dribble came out. I sat on the leather chair for a moment and I got frost bite on my butt cheek. Its a miracle my count was higher than average and my swimmers werent frozen in time. If you want a real life Titanic experience, come here. Unlike Jack Dawson, I somehow survived a mid summer winter.I hate to complain, especially after all my wife went through in the IVF process. If you come here for an analysis, bring a snowsuit, space heater, perhaps even a campfire/matches. Prepare for Naked and Afraid : Alaska Version but worse.
Our experience with HQA doctors, nurses, and assistants was absolutely wonderful. They truly care about their clients and try for the best outcomes which each individual case. They are honest and upfront about your results and I really appreciated this as our previous doctor had us feeling in the dark and like everything was our fault. However, I cannot bring myself to give this location a 5 star rating because of their billing and insurance staff. The first year we were with them Amanda was amazing and helped me immensely with my insurance as I was fortunate enough to have insurance that reimbursed for fertility treatment. Though, once Amanda left the customer service and respect dropped dramatically. I was never able to get in touch with someone and after a year of going back and forth with attempting to get the appropriate paperwork, I finally threw in the towel. This is unfortunate because we were hoping to use those funds to look into embryo adoption, but I can no longer trust the HQA billing department to help me through that type of process. If this location could find better staff for that department it would be an all around incredible experience!
If your consultation is scheduled with Brandis Montez, NP it is worth the wait to complete your consult with another professional, if you chose to remain with CNY.We have completed four rounds of IVF over the last 6 years. This is not our first go at this however we were interested in what another center could offer. For someone that “Wants to see couples feel empowered,” yet talks down to them, is condescending, treats you like a number and is also highly unprofessional, I would seek another professional at this center or better yet, find another fertility center.Although we are required to complete all paperwork and have records faxed, you will have to provide every painstaking detail that was already provided to the center. By Ms. Montez not knowing herself, only proved she did not hold up her end of being prepared for our consult. If you are scheduled with Ms. Montez, make sure you are up to date on every detail from every round you ever completed. Including but not limited to: dates, number of miscarriages, type of miscarriage, names of every procedure, how many embryos for each cycle, etc. As someone who has been in the medical field for over 12 years, I was not prepared for her quiz or was unaware I should have been. This process of fertility is very sensitive and a highly emotional ride that is expensive and can quickly end in heart break. Many of us have been there. This consult left us feeling disrespected and very disappointed in the Center’s professionalism. I do appreciate the attempt the center made to schedule us a second consult, this time with Dr. Katz himself. My husband and I decided that CNY is not for us.
Absolutely do not go here, explore all other options before picking up the phone and making an appointment. They preach low-cost IVF, but they care only about the money, its a one size fits all protocol with little testing. You are but a number to CNY, processing people through like cattle. So many better options out there. Dr Kiltz himself was a complete A-hole when trying to resolve an issue with the financial department. Their staff is untrained, wait times are months long and the call center is in New York making it impossible to get ahold of anyone. Again, go anywhere but here!
I’m a gestational surrogate my intended parents decided to come to CNY as they are very affordable but in my opinion you get what you pay for. Is sad to say but since day one I’ve felt very nervous and stressed throughout the whole process we did two IVF cycles and both unsuccessful. Leaving us with lots of questions and concerns that of course the travel team never has an answer for you. Please do more research before goin to CNY I’m sure there are more options out there. Very disappointed with doctor Dr. Fink I spoke to him on January 20th and he told me over the phone that on the second IVF attempt we had 100%chance of getting pregnant what a joke as I got my hgc results today and is negative.. would never go back to this place!
The nurses and staff are nice, but this felt like a baby-mill. Yes it is a cheaper/more affordable option than some...but you get what you pay for, and this is a bare-bones operation. It was extremely difficult getting information or getting scheduled at the beginning, until we started the egg retrieval process. Throughout my entire experience, they did not provide good information on what to expect as far as planning, expectations, upcoming medications, etc. And you have to order and give yourself all of your own medications. I would never use this place for fertility treatments again.
I am so thoroughly impressed with Dr. Magarelli and his staff. Every single person has been nothing but amazing since we started this journey. After every single appointment, I was kept informed of everything from my visit in a fast and timely manner. Every question I had was answered and I was comfortable every step of the way. They answered all the questions I had, and made sure that I was happy before I left. I am so happy that we chose this office for our IVF cycle. I will continue to refer Dr. Mag to every person that I know, I am so unbelievably happy with my experience.
Please dont waste your time with Brandis. After watching their social media, I felt very confident I was going to be working with experienced professionals.Brandis is rude and off-putting. She doesnt do anything to empower women during their fertility journey. She is condescending and contradicted herself multiple times during our encounter.A huge waste of time for a consult that resulted in nothing and left me feeling worse about my situation. Please dont work in fertility if you cant support women during this sensitive time.
UNPROFESSIONAL. Dont do it, do yourself a favor and find a clinic who will treat you with value and care. Waste of time.ZERO stars if it were an option
I love CNY! They helped our dream finally come true 🙌 My husband and I tried for 8 years, 8 months and finally on our second full round of IVF we got a normal embryo, I am now pregnant with that embryo. We were only able to do two rounds because of how affordable they, but they also really care. Thank you CNY!
Stay away. CNY Fertility is like a production line, its quantity over quality and you are just a number. The call centre staff (based out of the NY office I believe) is so, so, so, so rude. My initial consultation was rescheduled 3 times and the wait for an initial consultation is months. I had the displeasure of speaking to Dr. Magarelli and without disclosing too much he implied that I slept around. This man should not be working with women, it took over a year before I was comfortable enough to seek out another IVF clinic in my home state. The costs at CNY are a lot cheaper but believe me, IT. IS. NOT. WORTH. IT. You have been warned.
I am thirty eight, and I have had multiple miscarriages, and CNY is the only way I can afford IVF, so I am grateful. I did my sonogram and labs at home, and I drove in from Texas, and I had my retrieval with Dr. FINK, and he was so kind and educated me on the best route for my embryos. The office staff is kind and welcoming. My CRNA Kelly was super kind and educated me well. Selena and Lupe were.my nurse and very kind, prompt, and kept me well informed.
After waiting months for my telehealth appointment, I received a vague phone call from a nurse practioner who had no knowledge of the planning process and just deferred to the nursing team. Upon contacting the nursing team, I received contradictory information about which procedures to schedule and at what time. When I asked for clarification, they were rude and dismissive. In addition, after contacting their office you can look forward to the CNY mass marketing emails selling random supplements and diet plans.
Couldn’t be more thankful for this clinic for giving us the cherry on top of our family - our daughter! 💗🎀 will forever be greatful! Loved everyone I interacted with while I was there. Brandis was soo sweet when she did my transfer.
I visited this office a few years ago. the office staff were great. However, the billing department is a JOKE. I have made multiple payments that are not reflected on the statement. and trying to get someone to answer the phone or call me back, 5 months later still no call back. Do better!
This review is on behalf of a friend who would like to remain anonymous due to privacy. HQA is a very welcoming clinic whose staff is always eager to assist. Sometimes they seem a little disorganized. They repeat information a lot, but that could be because they really want to make sure that you feel comfortable (which I did). They make a great effort and truly cared about me throughout my IVF process. It was a long process but I achieved my goal and am now 7 months pregnant!
Dr Mag and his staff are incredible. They are extremely knowledgeable and treat their patients with kindness and professionalism. We were thoroughly impressed with the success of their protocols, and ability to make the IVF process so affordable. We always felt like we were in great hands, and even though IVF is not something anyone wants to go through, they made the whole process easy and I wouldn’t choose to go with anyone else. With their help, just a few months later we now have a little one on the way, and I look forward to working with them again when we’re ready for our second.
I am super disappointed with my whole experience there. I am 35 and this was my first IVF cycle. From day one, it was difficult to reach anyone. dont even bother calling. It takes you to a general number and youll be on hold forever. for the most part during my simulation cycle, they were pretty responsive if I messaged them on the portal. But that was a different story after my retrieval. It was near impossible getting an embryo grading report. It took weeks you get it and almost every time I called, no one knew what I was talking about. They assumed I was asking for pgd results even though I specifically told them I wanted my embryo grades. I was told multiple times that Dr. Magarelli would be doing my retrieval (keep in mind, up until my retrieval, I NEVER saw a physician once) and just before I was put under I was told a different physician would be doing my retrieval. Thats fine, but it wouldve been nice to know that a little more in advance than minutes before I was put under anesthesia. Be prepared to wait in your car almost every visit...they see a ridiculous amount of patients a day, which was already a bad sign. The only good thing I have to say was about the CRNA (I think his name was Art)..he was awesome. He was very thorough and called me the night before. I asked if they had lidocaine before an IV and he said most definitely and went on about how places that refuse to do it out of laziness. I believe that, but he insisted it wasnt like that there and that theyd be happy to do it if I requested it. Well, the nurses had no idea what I was talking about and it was borderline comedic how difficult it was to get. They said the lidocaine they had was near expired but there was literally a vial on the anesthesia cart that wasnt close to expiring. When I pointed that out, they said, its fine, well just use this. They were clearly annoyed and unprepared that I ask. Honestly, yeah, its cheaper than most places, but youre like cattle there. I wouldve rather paid more for more attentive and organized staff.
Was referred by my doctors due to an upcoming procedure. Called in to schedule with a short time window (few days)before surgery. Was put on hold 15 min prior to closing of business and no one picked up the phone for 30+ minutes. Come to find out that they are closed and the person who picked up obviously didn’t care as it was close to close of business on a Friday. May miss my time window entirely as the situation for me has developed in under a week and is quite urgent. Very disappointed in this treatment from a referred company. Hope to hear from them at open of business Monday and depending on further treatment from scheduling staff, etc. my review could change.
Updating my review as Dr. Mag did take time out of his schedule impromptu today to discuss my concerns and openly receive my feedback which is amicable and appreciated as a necessary step to my healing and closure. Will try and be as concise and objective as possible.I did not have a successful cycle/transfer however I would go to Dr. Mag again in the future. I learned today he stands committed to his constant research and passion. You do have to put a lot of your faith blindly into the process, however, I have become close friends with a few of the ladies who have had success with his protocols and his success rates are extremely high. The legacy nurses are passionate about what they do and do want to see you be successful. My favorites were Veronica, Jennifer and Stephanie the ultrasound tech. Stacy also better partnered with me in becoming an advocate towards the end of my transfer protocol. Michael the phlebotomist is also awesome and passionate about what he does. This is an emotional rollercoaster process but if you trust the process this can work for you.Now that they have become a CNY the model is different. This model will not work for everybody as its high volume at an exchange of a low cost. If you expect highly personalized care this may not be the route you would want to go.Due to the high-volume nature of the clinic now that it is a CNY, I would not expect an exuberant amount of interaction with Dr Mag. He does walk around up beat in the office and will even stop to say hello but your entailed interactions will be limited to your initial consult, the ART consult, and if you do testing, a review of your findings. He also of course will be your provider during any of the actual procedures...perhaps this is the norm however for an IVF clinic in terms of Provider level of interaction...If you build a solid relationship with the nursing team and temper your expectations to primarily be in person interactions you will be okay. For the nursing team that treated me well, thank you, this is what kept me coming back and hopeful. I wish the team, Dr. Mag, and all the women who use this service all the best in success.
I would give this clinic a 0 if I could. I tried them as a monitoring clinic and this was my experience.1) The techs had no idea how to accurately count or measure follicles, thus giving my out of town clinic inaccurate information. Once my doctor complained they had to bring in a real doctor to show one of the techs what was needed.2) Blood work never seemed to match what the techs had to say. Estrogen level reported indicated more and larger follicles than what the techs reported.3) On my final visit before my planned retrieval we went back to a tech who didnt look where she was putting the probe and nearly shoved it up my... not where it goes.4) My last lab results on Monday were reported exactly the same as that of Friday... which is impossible since I was taking my shots all weekend. This caused immense frantic with my doctors who actually had to delay my retrieval and send me to a different, proven clinic for monitoring. Their results were accurate and concerning. Estrogen levels over 6000 and 20+ eggs on each side. This was far higher than what was being reported and put me in immense danger. I was put on blood thinners and given compression socks. Before retrieval I was guaranteed by the doctor to have ovarian hyperstimulation. He was right and it is terrible. This never would have happened if this clinic had been accurately monitoring me, but because of their bad methods I received too much medication and am suffering because of it.All the folks there were super nice and I had planned on making this my usual office... now that theyve done this to me I will never go back or let anyone else.BEWARE!!!
They falsely advertise to be the cheapest fertility clinic but that is NOT true. Do your research! For example as far eggs freezing (even if you can only freeze 1 single egg due to low ovarian reserve) they charge a minimum of $3k WITHOUT MONITORING AND MEDICATIONS. I have found many other clinics where they charge $2500 WITH MONITORING/MEDS INCLUDED and also CNY Fertility does NOT offer needle free / injections free IVF/Eggs Freezing so yeah there are better options out there!
Great clinic for IVF! After two failed cycles, I went to HQA for answers and I got them. Sometimes their protocols are a little confusing as I get the sense that they are constantly updating. They have nice take home material which I reviewed with my husband often. Staff was knowledgeable and fun.
I had an absolute horrible experience which ended in two transfers that failed. I feel if they spent more time on my case looking into results of ultrasounds and blood work along with my endometriosis I could’ve actually conceived. By the time I paid for travel expenses and multiple transfers I could’ve stayed local and done IVF with a doctor who actually looked further into my case. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Id give them a zero if it werent for Dr. Hayes, but Dr. Magarelli and most of the staff are awful.I used them prior to the name change. Before they were HQA, they were Reproductive Medicine and Fertility Center or RMFC.I should add that I didnt use them for IVF, but as a third party clinic as a surrogate because my IPs RE was on the East coast.Im not even sure where to start... it was one issue after another.First off, I had the hardest time even making appointments. They wouldnt make my appointment until they received the orders from the REs office in NC. They were supposed to call me to schedule once they received them. That is specifically what their office told me when I tried to call and schedule. That never happened; not ONCE. I would be told by the REs office that they sent the orders and would wait several hours, sometimes a full day and then when they hadnt called, I would call them. They usually told me they didnt have them. After this happened multiple times, I asked the REs office to copy me when sending them. They did and so I knew when HQA received them. They would flat out lie and tell me they didnt.Even when they did receive them and finally schedule my appointment, I would say about half the time, Id show up for my appointment and they wouldnt be able to find the orders. They would see my appointment, but tell me that they didnt know what I needed done. Shouldnt that have been in my appointment information?! I literally started printing out and bringing the orders with me so as not to waste 20-30 minutes while they attempted to locate them. There were a few times I showed up for my appointment and they didnt even show me scheduled! Like i just made up this date and time?!Its just continues to go downhill from here... even with my providing the orders myself, they often didnt perform all the necessary tests. In the beginning, I didnt know all the lingo or how to read these orders so I had no idea. I learned and started confirming.... saying things like, now you know you have to test for x and y and z, right? For any of you going through IVF, you know how many appointments there are and how important getting all the accurate measurements are so this is no small thing! My IPs are paying a ton of money for this and yet, they continually screw it up!The timing of most of these tests are imperative and since the RE on the East Coast needs them same day, my appointments were always early in the morning and promised by noon local time. I cant tell you how many times it would be down to the wire just before 3pm and Im having to call them to find out whats going on because the RE still hadnt gotten results. One time, they finally just gave me the results over the phone (good news) and then the next time, when the same thing happened, they refused. Of course, I knew it was because it was bad news. It was completely unprofessional the way it went down, but thats a whole other story. One of the things that bothered me the most... HQA didnt agree with the protocol and transfer timing set by the RE in NC (Shady Grove; which is one of the leading clinics in the nation, BTW) so they took it upon themselves to call the RE in NC to try and have it changed. This was after discussing it with me and my verifying that I was comfortable with it and on board. That sent me through the roof! Totally not their place and a complete violation! FTR, the protocol worked and I delivered a healthy baby so they clearly knew what they were doing. As I mentioned, the only bright spot there is Dr. Hayes. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. She did both my hysteroscopy and polypectomy.Ive warned several friends to stay away, but many have been lured in by his low prices. Most have come back and informed me they regretted it.Save your money and go to Advanced Reproductive Medicine in Briargate or CCRM in Denver. It will be a better experience and likely cheaper in the long run.
The customer service has gotten very bad since the change to CNY Fertility. My wife and I are having our second child and the wait time has went have 5–10 minutes to now 1 hour even when it’s only one person in the waiting room. The fact that we are returning customers you would think the service would be 5 start for all the money we invest with them. They never can give us a reason why our appointment is at 11:45 but yet we get seen at 12:50. The inconsideration of other people time seem not to be their top priority.
The front desk staff does not answer the phone and they will not return your phone calls. (Not only during holidays...) Pretty difficult to schedule appointments that way. Not to mention proceedures that must be done at a certain time during your cycle. Nurses, lab techs and Dr Walinsky are great, but it all doesnt help if you cant get stuff scheduled on time.Update: I have surgery tomorrow and nobody from the office called me for a pre-procedure consultation. I called the office 10 minutes before they closed and they couldnt tell me anything. So basically Ill be in relying on Dr. Google to figure out what I should and shouldnt do before my surgery. I dont even know what time Ill be released so the person whos going to give me a ride wont know what time to plan to pick me up. I dont even know which floor of the hospital I have to go to. The disappointment with this office continues...Update 2: The doctor called the morning of the surgery. Dr. Walinsky is a great person, genuinely cares about her patients. She is also liked and respected by the nurses at the hospital, which says a lot. She talks to everyone the same way, like equals, patients, nurses alike! She is the reason why I updated my review from one star to two stars. I would give her, apart from this clinic a five star review.Update 3: I had my follow up with Dr. Magarelli. He is an IVF salesman. I did not give him this nickname, hes earned it well before I ever came to his clinic. He believes that only his protocol, his own research, at his own clinic, on his own patients has validity. If you bring up research from anywhere else, he will condescendingly ridicule you and will attempt to make you feel stupid for even thinking that any other fertility doctor or research center has anything useful to say. Unless you just go along with whatever he wants to sell you (IVF cycles only) he wont even let you finish your sentence, he will not listen and address anything you have to say or ask. If I will decide to do IVF, it will not be at this clinic. I will go to Dr. Silber in Saint Louis, who is the leading fertility doctor in the US and NOT an IVF salesman. He is truly about fertility, ha also charges way less per cycle, definitely worth the extra trip. This clinic should be called an IVF clinic not a fertility clinic!
I really liked this office when it was Magarelli only, but now that it is CNY the customer service is terrible. They called me to schedule an appointment the woman wouldnt listen to what I was telling her, kept interrupting and saying well we will schedule a consult, but I had a few questions before I was ready to do that, and then my phone dropped the call, which I mentioned might happen while I was trying to get to a place that had better service. I called back immediately, was on hold for like 25 minutes before it said goodbye called back was on hold for another long period of time, and it sent me to voicemail. I left one, that was almost a week and a half ago, and no one called back to schedule my consult. Its extremely frustrating, this is a hard time for a lot of couples and having a little decency goes a long way.
I waited three months to get an appointment and waited by my phone all day anxious and never even got a call. The couple times I have called the receptionists I am on hold literally forever, and when they do answer they are completely rude. After reading the comments before mine it sounds like I have to find a new place to handle an already personally difficult situation to be handling. I’m beyond shocked that a doctors office let alone one for a sensitive issue like this one be so careless and disrespectful. I’m beyond hurt and this journey has been painful enough.
My wife and I struggled, trying to conceive for nearly 3.5 years. There were so many ups and downs, tears, and so much agony and defeat. We tried Clomid, timing, hundreds of dollars on supplements, lo-carb diets (not Keto like Dr. Magarelli had us do), you name it we tried it. We almost signed up with CCR in Lafayette, but the money was a bitter pill to swallow. We were downtrodden and feeling defeated when we finally decided to come to Dr. Magarellis fertility facility. He feels that IVF should be more affordable to all couples ttc. It was like hearing the best news I ever heard. When he broke down his pricing, we knew we had a shot. IVF is always going to be confusing, and it has its own set of struggles and difficulties. But, these are because of unknowns. We were on a roller coaster throughout the process because COVID hit as soon as our embryos were available. That became very heart-wrenching. We had so many uncertainties. Dr. Magarellis staff is absolutely phenomenal. We specifically have to shout out Jennifer, Veronica, Stephanie, Stacey, and Mike. These people have hearts of gold and always put us at ease with the process. In the end of this chapter (what seemed like its own saga), WE ARE PREGNANT! And, we had the beautiful opportunity to see our babys heartbeat with him and his staff. Dude, I am a guy who never cries, and I am crying writing this. I truly love them all and will be forever grateful and indebted to them for what they did for us!
Ive always wanted to work with babies in the medical field..never did I imagine I would end up being a part of creating them! Ive been working with Dr. Magarelli for 2 years. I started off as a medical assistant and now Ive been promoted to the IVF coordinator! Being the IVF coordinator keeps me very busy but its so rewarding to be apart of a patients journey from the very start to the very end. I have patients who I met when I started 2 years ago that now email pictures of their babies.. being apart of that means more to me than I could ever express. If youre not a patient at our office and you are thinking about becoming one just know that we would love to have you and we would love to be a part of your journey!
Never use this clinic for monitoring if your RE isnt local. Not only were lab results delayed until I had to follow up, not all of the labs were sent as well as some not even drawn. This has set our timeline back due to negligence on the staffs part and competency with completing a job. Also, the US tech had mistaken a bladder for a uterus. Terrible. If I could give 0 stars I would.
I felt as if what my spouse and I wanted wasn’t what Dr Paul M wanted. We told him we wanted FET and he had me prepping my body for an IVF and it wasn’t until I went to the OBGYN and I got my answers. Was never called about any blood work or anything that had been done so far. It wasn’t until they received my records request that they called to try to get me to come in for a follow up. I don’t usually review people unless it’s a great experience, but I felt this office dropped the ball and only saw me as a dollar sign.
If I can give 0 stars I would!! Dr. MAGARELLI told us my husband semen analysis came back as severe oligospermia and that our only option was IVF but we could try clomid with a 1% chance of conception... good thing I believe in 2nd opinions. My husband went to a urologist today and after calling CNY to send lab work to the portal (which it hadnt been uploaded prior) the urologist looked at the lab reports and said there is nothing wrong AT ALL, quite the opposite, my husband is perfectly fertile! Unbelievable is an understatement Dr MAGARELLI needs to stop practicing!
Nice people, but extremely disorganized and not on the ball. After 10 visits Dr. Magarelli couldnt even remember our names. They couldnt keep our charts, medications, or plans straight, which created unnecessary confusion and heartache. Theyre the budget option, but when you factor in the amount of run around and misdirection they create its just not worth it. They are currently working with a merger and neither side has their act together, so its probably worse than it would have been before.
I couldnt be more grateful to have come across this fertility center! The staff is great, very supportive and friendly! The nurses and doctors are very knowledgeable, I could tell they have been doing this for a long time. Their goal is for a successful pregnancy and healthy babies! I could honestly say that even if I my pregnancy is not succesful, I will still feel the $$ invested was well worth, not only because of thier hard work but because I know that they did everything that they can possibly do in their power and the rest was for nature to take control. I reacted very well to the hormones but sometimes I had bad reactions to the meds, they quickly resolved the problem, they monitor me every step of the way!! Thank you to all, especially to Dr.Magarelli. Much love and respect from my husband and I.
I would give a 0 if possible. We did IVF because the Dr told us we are in the best health, things cant go wrong, yada yada... Well during the IVF they gave me too many hormones! This resulted in producing too many low quality eggs AND OHSS. Then during egg retrieval they gave me TOO much anesthesia that left me in terrible condition! We ended up with NO eggs to transfer so spent almost $18k to be treated like a lab rat! It is now almost 5 months after this and I want to put it behind me, but my cycles are almost 40 days now and I do not ovulate anymore! After all the horrible things I went through this Dr. Magarelli kept telling me I need to go see this specific acupuncturist and it turns out she is his WIFE! He cares only about your dollars, thats it. I might have a possible lawsuit, will find out soon! Please seek someone else so you dont end up like my husband and I!
I had the displeasure of speaking to Dr. Magarelli. This man is in the wrong field. He needs to be working in the corner of a library—away from civilization at all costs. Other than him at the CO location, our experience with nurses and staff from Albany and Syracuse, NY have been great. My suggestion, if possible, is to avoid Magarelli at all costs.
I started my employment at HQA Fertility Centers a little more than a year ago as a Patient Advocate. In this clinic I have been challenged to expand my skill set, learn new things, show my natural talents and discover new ones. I have been promoted twice as Dr. Magarelli and management have given me opportunities to contribute and enhance our patient experience here at the clinic. I have enjoyed the past year learning a new field of medicine, getting to know our patients and I look forward to what the future holds for our clinic!
So I am giving an honest opinion i was sent to HQA for fertility treatment, started off great dr recommending IVF right away but respected our wished for timed intercourse or IUI due to cost. I had 3 rounds of treatment with injectable! Nurses and staff were amazing through it also, but felt like provider was pushing more for IVF and not listening to what i needed. I have been doing fertility treatment for a good 7 years so i knew how my body reacts to med, and i asked for low doses and dr kept putting me on very high doses which caused me to hyperstimulate! So 2 cycles were thrown to the trash due to my body going crazy and the last cycle ended with me in the hospital for a week and having to have surgery to remove an ovary since it twisted and died in me!! If you have PCOS and have been doing treatment make sure you stand your ground with meds especially if youve had good cycles before!! If you have the funds for IVF jump to it cause their prices are awesome.
0 stars. This place is not worth your time or money. I get that Covid screwed up a lot stuff for people be these guys wont even answer the phones since the merge with cny. The patient portal is a joke and no one replies to my messages. It takes me having to threaten them with taking them to court just for someone to return a simple phone call to get my questions answered. Also since covid it was like they lost track of everything and kept asking me to pay $10,000 over and over again. WHICH HAD ALREADY BEEN PAID BEFORE COVID!! Not to mention the fact that I was told that since the merger with CNY fertility there was a good $7000 price drop!! Needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Ive had great experiences with HQA fertility. The staff is very knowledgeable and empathetic. They make themselves available and are more than willing to answer any and every question. Dr.Magarelli is very accessible and willing to help. Ive had 2 successful pregnancies thanks to Dr.Magarelli and the team at HQA.
Our CNY miracle was born on 11-17-21. If it wasn’t for CNY we wouldn’t have been able to afford the fertility treatment. Although we did have some communication issues during our treatments, I would choose CNY again and highly recommend them!
Very satisfied with the Doctor and staff here. I felt compassion and genuine care from doctor Magarelli. I want to use this facility and I have consulted with quite a few. Rmfc has the best prices dedicated staff and high success rates. I am excited about our new relationship.
I absolutely loved the staff and dr fink. You do have to do the homework and learn what could work for you. After doing almost a year of research I finally went to cny and had success my first transfer. Can not thank cny enough for this blessing
My wife and i are currently going through ivf. We were very excited to get started and make it possible for us to concieve. They never give full information and after every turn they say there is another payment. We were orginally told there would be a deposit and thrn we could make our monthly payments. We decided alright we can do that. After we made the deposit, we begin getting told that we have to pay almost triple the deposit for the meds(this was never stated when we first came in). We paid for that and were ready to get going. Our goal is to have a boy, so for this we were told that it was $400 for them to get them tested for that purpose. My wife even called and verified that. Now during the egg retrieval they are saying the $400 for them to send a request to the company doing the actual testing and that we have to pay another $1200 to them separately. This is supposed to be a happy occasion but they have been turning this into hell the whole time by not giving full information. This is very unprofessional. I understand this process is our choice and that it is expensive but its becoming very difficult to want to do this when after every turn something is being added on that was not told to us from the beginning.
Let me offer a different take. In researching fertility specialists, I came across a slew of bad reviews about Dr. Magarelli & was less than inclined to go through him & his practice. However, I met two people, someone who worked w/him professionally & someone who dealt w him/as a patient that highly recommended him over the other fertility specialists in town. Okay I will say, that yes, his practice is a very well-oiled machine when it comes to IVF & recommending that mode & that mode only of fertility treatment. Beware, if thats not what youre looking for physically or financially. Yes, he is a bit of a b.s. artist & its always common sense that when youre dealing w/a serious medical issue like infertility, to get 2nd & 3rd opinions. However, what was pulling me towards Magarelli was the fact that he highly advocated the use of acupuncture to complement fertility treatments. Having used acupuncture previously w/good results, this was a good sign to me! Upon our consult & initial assessments I couldnt have been more impressed. He 1st recommended tests before treatment. His practice is also one of the very FEW that offers the latest & 1st of its kind test called the Ovarian Assessment Report. This gives a very accurate report of exactly how many viable eggs one has & how quickly you need to get on the ball. I found his bedside manner very warm & gracious replete w/lots of hugs. He couldnt have been more sympathetic after our 1st treatment resulted in a loss. His staff were also top notch & always there when I needed them. Look, fertility medicine isnt an exact science. If youre looking for a doctor whos gonna make you milk & cookies & blow sunshine up your tail...there are therapists for that. Also it depends on your case & the cause of your difficulties. At the end of the day hes a fertility doctor not a miracle worker. The lower the FSH
Every single person employed by RMFC, from the office staff to the Doctors, is super friendly and treats you like you are their only patient. Ive been seeing them for a number of months and even though Im not pregnant (yet!!), they make this process just a little bit easier to go through. I know each and every person there wants what is best for me and to help me achieve my goal of becoming a parent. Not a lot of practices out there genuinely care about their patients as much as they do at RMFC. I feel so lucky to have found RMFC.
I had my transfer today and cny fertility in Colorado Springs made me feel so comfortable and they gave me so much encouragement, I would recommend them to anyone . NOW I WAIT
I wouldnt recommend anyone use this service, they charged you money even you cancel your appointment. I got charged twice already.
People were nice. But I went there to find out results and they had none for over a week. Till I called. Communication should be so easy in 2018 but both davita and this place didnt. Seems irresponsible cuz this is me and my wifes future and we trusted them with it. Still believing in hope that me and my wife can have a baby. But with obstacles like this its tough to remain positive
Please save your time and emotions and steer clear of Dr. Paul Magarelli! I should have stuck with my gut after reading the unfavorable reviews but I decided to give him a try. One my 4th and final visit after seeing him, I left his office in tears. When reading (actually before giving me my results) he says, Oh, this is bad, actually this is horrible news. What kind of doctor does that? Then he proceeds to tell me the results after he rudely tells me where the tissues are. To top it off, he insults my husband and still continues to ask if we want to spend $12,000 +. I have never wanted to slap a doctor so much in my life. Ladies, seriously save your time and emotions and go somewhere else.
7 years of infertility, we finally got pregnant with twins! They are a month old now beautiful and healthy. We couldn’t be more happier! Thanks to doctors and their staffs!!
My best friend who was struggling with pregnancy for 2 years was treated at this clinic. She had a great experience there and just found out that she’s finally pregnant! I’m so happy for her!
Excellent and caring staff- especially Amanda who goes way above and beyond! Dr. Magarelli is thorough, direct, experienced and effective. This is a great office and resource for the Colorado Springs community.
Absolutely terrible experience. The Dr that talked to us was extremely rude. He also said one thing to my husband then claimed he never said that when he talked to me. Very unprofessional.
Been a headache for my wife and I the moment she walked in with her Tricare referral. No excuses on your merger or any other issue, this lack of professionalism top to bottom is a clown show
Was a patient here about a year ago for PCOS. I was put on a great plan and my husband and I have since had a beautiful boy. Highly recommend.
Excellent experience. Dr. Magarelli and the HQA team are the best! We are very happy with our results. I recommend his clinic.
Horrible clinic and terrible medical practices. Very poor place to work.... treats employees with no respect and like disposable easily replaceable objects. Patients shuffled in and out like an assembly line. I would avoid this place like the plague
They made us feel so comfortable. They were very kind and patient to explain in details the steps we had to follow. Totally recommend.
If I could leave 0 stars I would they are completely unethical and immoral as a company and I wouldn’t recommend anyone trust this facility with their bodies .
Impossible to schedule anything. Got transferred several times and got nowhere. Nobody knew what they were doing. I was tossed around their call center based in ny. Please get a direct line.
We just started with them recently to have baby but we had lot of problem to get schedule for consulate after that they wanted to do some blood work for us before that when I asked about cost they said finance Department going to call you and tell you about cost but they didnt and now lab send bill to us around $2600 and I dont know how I have to pay I Never get back there again
The staff is amazing and the doctors genuinely care. Thank you for everything you do.
This is the 3rd place for me, love it the most
Waited over an hour to be seen. Unorganized at times. My apt was at 10:00 am wasnt brought in until 11:05am.
Worst place ever. Ive had problem after problem with this place and i literally just walked out! I sat there for 2 hours just for some blood work!!
I’m righting this on my sons phone but I had wonderful time here ,all of the staff are nice and respectful.
Super unorganized and always late. Every time I come in I wait for at least 30 minutes after my appointment start time.
Faculty and staff are amazing and friendly!
I absolutely love this place. Everyone has been so kinda.
Great great place! Everyone was so so pleasant! Thank you 🙏
Great facility, great staff!
Very good clinic, affordable prices, quality care...
They actually gave us different options to choose from.
Making the priceless affordable
Very nice place.
5 years ago I had an invitro, it didnt work for me but they treated me very well, there was always excellent communication, I would like to try it again BUT I am distrustful of so many bad comments, I dont understand much English but apparently they changed staff or sold??? They shouldnt let just anyone write a review, many people just want to damage the reputation of the clinic. Does nurse María still work there? He was the one who always helped me, translated for me and helped me with everything and even more than he should!💖 Im going to see if I can make an appointment, Im going fromHobbs, NM, greetings!!!
People like this are very professional.
Excellent.
