I can’t say good enough things about the treatment I received! Everyone was so wonderful and genuinely concerned for my well being. The gynecologist were very attentive to my needs and the nurses were extremely kind and supportive. Couldn’t have asked for better help.
All of the doctors that I have ever had through Denver health are amazing. They listen and they do not judge you the nurses on the other hand are completely different situation. I honestly feel like almost every single nurse, especially the newer nurses through Denver health need to be retrained on how to treat people. Again, the doctors are phenomenal not just at this clinic but every doctor I’ve ever had through Denver health. All I can say is make sure that you advocate for yourself. Do not let the nurses treat you like shit they will if you allow it.
Alexis Harmon is the best women’s care provider I have ever had. She is kind, intelligent, and just an overall compassionate provider. She took her time in asking questions about my medical history and explained her procedure to me very thoroughly. I have not had good experiences with many GYN providers in my lifetime, but I can confidently say that I will be her patient for as long as she’s in Denver. Thank you, Alexis for the incredible care you provided to me 🩷
The doctors and nurses definitely make sure you are getting the care you need! They were all so sweet and answered every question you could possibly have while making sure you don’t feel out of place for asking any type of question! From my experience it was amazing and they took such good care of me and my child! They also know how to ease your nerves when going into labor or having a c-section!
I had a great experience! The surgical team did a great job explaining my procedure and made me feel a lot less nervous! I was in excellent hands during my procedure!
I am giving 3 🌟 because I came to my appointment on time, waited 10 min and was finally called by the clerk at the front desk 20 min pass my appointment time.I double check to see if the clerks were busy with others patients, but no, they were just sitting there doing nothing. After I was called in, I have to wait another 20 min for the doctor to come in, which was a total of almost 1 hour past my appointment time that was scheduled at 3:30 pm.
Midwife Alexis Harmon is an angel! Easily the best gynecological experience I’ve ever had! She listened to my concerns and questions and gave useful feedback and suggestions. Interacting with her really showcases how much she cares for her work and her patients. I really felt like I was in good hands that truly want the best for my wellbeing. I’m grateful to have met her, especially after losing my grandmother and mother in the same year to cervical and breast cancer. Alexis made me feel safe and like no matter what comes up I’ll be prepared.
Dr. Alexis Harmon was the one who helped me today. She was literally the sweetest & really made it feel like another home where I was welcomed. She helped me with everything I needed and more just to make sure we were all good not to mention the hospitality that’s so important especially for OBGYN stuff. This location is hands down my favorable of all the locations, if the staff sees this as well you guys were just as amazing even the lady who checked me in was a sweetheart. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH !
From reception through the end of my visit all the employees who assisted me were warm, caring, timely and knowledgeable. My nurse midwife had a lovely demeanor that made me feel very comfortable and she gave expert advice and answers to my questions.
It was a very positive experience! Dr. Phoebe Montgomery was knowledgeable and personable. Denver Health is fortunate to have her.
I love my doctors and the nurses here every is kind and very caring! They go above and beyond for you. I truly appreciate the service I get each time I come here, whether it be at the women’s clinic or the ER. Everyone is so sweet and compassionate. Truly feels like ur walking into a “second home” .
My experience was excellent! The whole staff was friendly, professional and efficient! I was taken on time and although I was in the wrong pavilion a staff member came and got me so I didnt miss my scheduled appointment! It was great.
I was seen at my appointment time and because of my chart I was able to do the paperwork for new patients beforehand. All of the staff that I dealt with was friendly and made me feel comfortable and safe. I give this clinic 5 stars and plan on going here for all future appointments.
The women’s care clinic was perfect for me today! My wait was not long at all, the nurses were very polite, and the doctor was patient and knowledgeable. Everybody was professional with a smile! Exactly what you need when you must go to the doctors office!
My Experience with the Nurses with the Doctors was so Awesome, Everybody was so Caring so Helpful although there was one nurse who was a little rude when they told me to get a pregnancy test and she tells me I dont need one. And rushed me to et my Surgery. I hadnt started my menstruation last month of July and was concerned maybe I was pregnant and NEVER got informed if I was. So Supposably I could of been pregnant and was never told the result. But all in all my Surgery went really well and Im healing well. The doctors fid a Great job explaining everything and getting my Surgery complete. Thank you!
Everyone who works here is so friendly and make the environment really comfortable and welcoming. The nurses who took care of me and my baby during my induction were the best! Wish I had my prenatal visits here throughout my pregnancy but will definitely be following with baby checkups here
So I’ve gotten care here for my previous pregnancy and now currently for my second pregnancy. If I just had to rate the midwives I would give it 5 stars their great. They talk to you with respect never condescending very informative and I always felt in control and that they care about your consent. During my first labor I swear almost everything that could have gone wrong that was out of their control did however they stayed so calm and kept me well aware of what was going on so what could have been an extremely traumatic labor was not. I ended up having a C-section which then switched my care over to OBs and that’s when things went downhill. All the OBs that rounded on me didn’t seem to be listening to myself or my husband and I ended up having an infection missed and being readmitted 16 days postpartum. That was traumatic. Fast forward to the current care and again midwives and the MAs in the office are fantastic but my interactions with the OBs have been exactly the same. I’m neurodivergent but it’s very weird like they can’t understand anything of what I’ve said? They talk to you like a child and uneducated and i spent most the appointment just trying to wrap it up to get out of there. They seem like great doctors it’s just the listening and communication seems off which could be because of my neurodivergence however I do not have the same issue with the midwives and I’ve seen so many there which seems a bit weird. I highly recommend coming here if you go through the midwives but if you have any neurodivergence I’m not sure I’d recommend any of the OBs I’ve seen although they were friendly and knowledgeable.
I can’t think my surgical team at Denver health enough. My experience with the surgical team and with everyone at Denver health was so positive. Truly caring people and excellent healthcare. I would never hesitate to come back to Denver health.
I came in for an ultrasound for what turned out to be a partially ruptured ectopic pregnancy. The entire care team showed deep compassion for the loss we were experiencing. They also carefully and thoroughly discussed our options with us and when we decided to have surgery to remove it, they expedited our case so that I had surgery the very same day to prevent further issues. I am very thankful for the care I received under these terrible circumstances.
Doctor Joy was a delight. She was very thorough and took the time to ask lots of questions. I did not feel rushed or just a number. Excellent car
Ms. Catherine was such a sweetheart she made sure i understood the procedure and everything about. She was so gentle i would recommend her to anyone.
Ive struggled with seeing the doctor and keeping up to date on all my reproductive exams pretty much my whole life lol, but the Obgyn clinic here is so lovely. NP Shania Klackle was thorough and addressed all my concerns, I was in and out in an hour and then another 20 minutes for the lab. My results came later that day and early the next. Get yourself checked ladies!!
It’s difficult for me to think of anything they couldve done any better honestly. The caring team here knew how to answer questions i didnt even know i had in a compassionate way. Thank you!
My first appointment was great. Both providers who did my ultra-sound did an amazing job and were very informative. My second appointment was very uncomfortable from the start to finish. My provider took 30 minutes to come to the room and this was after I went to ask for help. Upon her entering she said hi in which I replied hello. She immediately asked “would an interpreter work better for you?” As someone who was born in America and has no issue articulating myself in english I was very confused. I can only assume because i’m brown she assumed I didn’t speak english. The appointment continued and it was determined that I needed medicine. Knowing my past health I knew I would need the recommended second medication for side effects. I asked her if she could this and she replied that they don’t order this before showing side effects. This would be normal, however, numerous providers have done so in the past so I was aware this was up to her own discretion. This is the first time in a hospital i’ve ever felt discriminated against. I think this employee needs training so people don’t feel like this in the future. This was probably the worst hospital experience i’ve ever had and I hope to not have to return to this provider.
I had a great experience from the time I walked into the door! The staff at the front desk were very helpful and I didnt have to wait long - ok, well, I did have to wait a bit once I got into the exam room BUT Catherine Grinnell spent a good deal of time with me once my appointment started and she was very thorough in detailed and answered all my questions.
Best Dr I have ever seen. I felt so good when I left. I would recommend him highly to anyone.
Denver health womens clinic has excellent care! Loved my Doctor and Nurse. Very thorough and thoughtful! Thank you!
My Visit At The West Side Clinic Was Great. My Doctor Christine Haynes Is Amazing. I Didnt Wait Long & The Lady That Checked Me In Was Very Nice.
I didn’t realize I went to a “women’s care”facility until I was asked on MyChart to write this review. Why are men and nonbinary people being sent to “women’s care” for a cancer screenings? Women too should be able to get cancer screening at a place where men get screened. Cancer has no gender.I was not informed just how painful it was going to be. I asked if they could numb the area and was refused numbing. They took three tissue samples and I bled over the next few days with no way to stop the bleeding. I was told the bleeding was normal and that I should go back and have it done again next year.I would prefer NOT to go to women’s care next time for cancer screenings and I would prefer numbing and wound closing next time.
I love that they have never made me feel like I’m a nuisance. They have always made me feel listened to. Loved my new doctor today! Shout out to Amanda!
They was very helpful and they answered all of my questions and godmother questions with respect and honesty
Did a walk in on Monday around 8:30 am they helped me check in within 10 minutes. Lovely staff and very helpful!
I had a great experience at the clinic! The nurse and doctor that took care of me made me so comfortable and was able to answer all the questions I had and was overall a great visit!
I have had good care here but our 20 week ultrasound was extremely disappointing. My partner and I were so excited coming in today and were told to expect a 30-40 minute in-depth anatomy ultrasound. We had been excited for weeks.Unfortunately, what could have been a very special experience ended up being ruined by the ultrasound technician in what was a 10 MINUTE appointment! She was clearly very uninterested in our enthusiasm and going through the motions as fast as possible. We barely saw our baby - she took photos and measurements as fast as she could, was clearly annoyed with our questions and didnt really say anything beyond the very bare minimum. She let us hear the heartbeat for a couple of seconds before abruptly moving on.As first time parents, this was truly a hugely disappointing experience. I understand if you are fed up with your job, workload, etc. but that is not an excuse for treating patients that way. I am seriously considering moving to another hospital for my prenatal care.
Dr. Culp was fabulous. She was knowledgeable, help and kind. I appreciated her professionalism and how she listened to all I had to say, while taking it seriously & showing concern. She was prompt in helping me with next steps for further care and was such a kind doctor. Thank you, Dr. Culp for all your help!
Wasn’t what I expected they give u stupid response after or while asking questions been shitty so far to much for being the best care tbh
Had an appointment but had to wait an hour to be called. This place is not inclusive. I was misgendered and It’s still called women’s care clinic in 2024 when not everyone who needs gynecological services identifies as a woman. It’s seriously time to think about a name change. There should also be a childfree area to wait for people who don’t want kids and are sensitive to the loud noises that kids make while having to wait an hour for their appointments.
I had questions and the nurse practitioner was great. She helped me figure out next steps and got quick confirmation from the doctor. It was a great experience.
This place is amazing and so is there staff they make you feel welcome and for someone like me who is scared of everything and everyone they make me feel safe and comfortable and easy to talk to them they respect you and your wishes and there just so so amazing highly recommend
Went here for gender affirming surgery. The surgery was only three days ago as of this writing, but so far, everything has been going really well. I have not had any complications yet, and during my pre-op visit and my two nights in the hospital, everyone I interacted with was very kind and respectful. Everyone used my proper pronouns (she/her), with the exception of one male nurse who used they to refer to me when I was first being moved to my hospital bed. I never saw him again after that single brief interaction.
Drs were kind very understanding and went to her immediately to restore my health to the best of their ability.0 Im really, really, really glad I switched doctors.
I am so grateful for the personalized and thoughtful care that I receive here as part of my pregnancy journey!
It was a great experience, I was treated with respect and my questions and concerns were answered.
Great stuff , friendly thank you for making me feel comfortable!!
I was so nervous going in for a check up. Dr Alexis Harmon was absolutely a pleasure meeting and was very caring. She help with all my concerns and made me feel safe and HEARD!!! She is the best 🩷
Wonderful service and the doctor was very patient and she explained very well my procedure.
Denver health has turned into one of the worst hospitals in the past year know sent my daughter home while being in labor and all because of lack of beds visitors get priority over Colorado natives
Absolutely amazing. All the women that had my case made me feel safe and they were very informative.
I am always treated with care and respect at the women’s care clinic. I always look forward to my visits. I am happy with the service.
Lots of people and semi long wait, but quick and easy/in and out
Everyone was welcoming and attentive! Super glad this is my new OBGYN center in Denver. The nurse and doctor were both informational and sincere. Thank you!
The staff are courteous, punctual and thorough. I feel like I was heard and taken care of.
No pain medications for an invasive procedure. Performed by a male doctor. They ask you to pick up your own meds from the pharmacy within the hospital (instead of having them available on site at your appointment, as they should). They then want you to insert the medications into your body in a filthy, public hospital bathroom. Then hangout somewhere at the hospital for hours while the medication sets in and you begin experiencing painful cramping. Then you’re able to come back up 1 hour prior to your procedure to take a useless dose of ibuprofen. Their procedure “policy” is illogical and careless. This is a new service they offer and they don’t yet seem to know what they’re doing. I walked out.
The day that took me back was fantastic. The only down fall was I showed up early and they got me back late.
Such a friendly atmosphere. Everyone is so kind and will go out of their way to help you.
My PT was great and people are always nice with me from the security guard at the entrance to the nurse that checks me in.My second review is not as good. I was told my appointment would have no cost because I was seen my a nurse and not a physician. Only to come find an email where I am actually being charged for the services. I dont understand what changed and why I was not notified.
It was the quickest and easiest PAP I ever had done. No problems with cramping.
Quick and efficient. The practitioner I saw was very professional and thorough. I felt heard and listened to, and like I was truly apart of the care plan.
Great staff! There was no wait time for my appointment, and they were kind and helpful.
Denver is so fortunate to have this resource available. Ive been going to the Denver Health Womens Care Clinic for ongoing procedures for about two years now and the staff is helpful, prompt, kind and informative. I feel taken care of and know my questions will be answered.
Friendly staff. Warm welcome feeling. If you need help all you have to do is ask and they will guide you in the right direction.
My experience with denver health has been great. Great care and very thorough. Thank you!
I have never had a more disheartening defeating experience than I did with dr beckman and I strongly encourage any woman of color to stay away from this place! I left every appointment in tears because she was constantly talking down to me and consistently didn’t listen to me and was so unhelpful with paperwork I needed for my work. She would ignore the fact I was in excruciating pain and clearly didn’t believe me when I said I was left incapacitated most days due to my condition. She continued to give me increasingly less helpful advice every appointment and it seemed like she was frustrated I wasn’t getting better. She tried to say my condition wasn’t improving because I didn’t follow her care instructions when in reality the plan she had for me wasn’t even set to begin until February which wouldn’t have helped me recoverin her timeline anyways! I felt like I was showing up so she could have a paycheck and I had to wait till February to find any hope of relief anyways so I say another doctor to get second opinions and once she found out she immediately began treating me worse which is ultimately what made me seek care somewhere else. So please don’t trust this clinic with your health if you are a woman of color because I don’t believe they are on our side at all.
I am so thankful to have met Dr. SterlingSo gentle, knowledgeable, understanding and took all the time to answer all my questions
Every time we come here we get the help and guidance we need. Always nice and helpful
I am so proud to get my care at Denver Health. Everyone I encounter has been friendly and helpful.
I had my first appointment, the staff was very friendly and I was in and out! Love it.
The staff are very friendly and considerate of each individual patient. When performing any testing they make sure of the patients comfort level!
I had my first biopsies there July 16 totally misled me that everything was OK j Test came back positive. Got the test results on my chart. Didn’t hear from anybody So I called the Clinic. and left a message to see what was going on then I was scheduled for another procedure on August 21, got there. Everything was set up. Doctor started the procedure I stopped the procedure and said it was unsafe with no explanation and they would reschedule me a whole week later. August 29 got a call from Ashley to schedule the procedure an hour later I got a call from a nurse Sophia who was awesome and explained everything August 30. I got a call from Ashley. schedule coordinator was trying to cancel my procedure. Didn’t explain anything just wanted to argue .Anytime that I asked her anything. She couldn’t explain why they were canceling. I don’t think Ashley understood How it is to be on the Other side, of this phone call no compassion no explaining why !shame on Ashley. I hope you never are on the other side of the phone call. After she Ruby hung up on me, I called back to see who I could talk to about what was going on with my surgery which was scheduled for September 3, 2024 I was transferred to who I thought was Ashley supervisor it wasn’t. She’s a supervisor over the OB/GYN clinic. Her name is Nubia such a kind, compassionate woman which transferred me over to Candace who explained everything showed more compassion thank you ladies. It’s already a scary procedure. Thanks for showing me, some compassion it’s scary not knowing what going on with your health
Started services with them in Jan first visit was virtual didn’t like that but what can you do. Second visit was with a good midwife though she wasn’t my primary still didn’t have one she was helpful and informative. I had issue high pulse at work with dizziness blurry vision at work she listened to my concern and took precautions advised aspirin due to black women high risk of complications during pregnancy. March I met with mid wife Ejaaz and she seems she didn’t prepare at all, her student did a better job than she did. A urine sample I did prior visit didn’t test well she did a phone screen and noted retest urine next visit she didn’t though. Day of visit she didn’t know It was our initial visit until the end her student told her. I called nurse line twice for headache dizziness and feeling awful first time got a response. Second time when I noticed I had high blood pressure with above signs no call back. I let Ejaaz know when she came in 5 minutes at the end of the visit she didn’t know it was a record though she found it when she finally looked in the chart. She stated it could of been a misread due to wrist Bp cuff failing take note of other associated symptoms and the fact I’m a nurse I know how to take blood pressure. So she focused on headache saying take Tylenol but I feel strongly against that due to risk of autism and adhd. She told me risk of stillbirth, stroke and seizure should outweigh the possible risk of my son being born with autism/adhd. It’s my choice and there are other options of treatment for headaches her lovely student suggest magnesium. I still wanted to focus on high blood pressure and I told her I haven’t been working due to this and aspirin been helping.she replied while aspirin doesn’t cure it , I never wanted it cured I want it managed so I can work as a nurse and function at home. She gave a bad first impression with black moms dying more than any race I would think of woman of color wouldn’t dismiss a woman’s concern and take the moms wants into consideration. Definitely switching my midwife
This was the most efficient doctor visit I’ve ever had! I arrived 20 minutes early as requested, and found the staff to be friendly and businesslike and then proceeded to relax in the clean, comfortable waiting room. I was called back 5 minutes before my actual appointment time, and was done with the visit in under 20 minutes. During that short time frame, I felt heard and was given all the information pertinent to my visit. I will definitely be going back!
The staff at Women’s Care is wonderful. They have continued to try different approaches to my care until we all agreed on a course of action. Since surgery the staff continues to check on me and are available if I have any questions or concerns. I appreciate the level of care and respect me and my family were shown.
Best experience Ive had with doctors, EVER... Everyone was very nice...Thank you
This whole hospital is trash. The quality of care the staff provide depends on if they have a heart. Most of the nurses had an attitude and were not helpful or compassionate. There were a few nurses that were very compassionate and provided excellent care. None of the staff that said they would help me followed through. The only time I got help or a response was when I left negative feedback. Their social work department does the bare minimum for providing support. Their billing department doesn’t do their job completely and are insensitive to the situation. The only department that is helpful is their nurse hotline. I will never ever go back to Denver Health.
Good attention they explained all the procedures of my surgery and always attentive to me
Denver Health is absolutely HORRIBLE. I would give it ZERO stars if I could. Im not specifically talking about the womens health care clinic - but the system itself. I have been trying to get in just to establish a new primary care doctor for TWO months. Nothing is available at any clinic. This is the worst health insurance that I have ever had, run, run, RUN AWAY and do NOT go with Denver Health. If I could quit and change right now Id do it, but I am trapped until Open FREAKING enrollment. This system sucks.
I appreciate all the care I’ve received at this clinic. Terra, my midwife is incredible and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure I get the care I need. Her MA, Jasmin is also amazing and very thorough.
Really great. Nice facility, friendly staff and very quick and efficient. Thumbs up!
6 weeks for an appointment and 2 total months of worry, stress and anxiety to be called morbid at the end of the final meeting.nothing has been resolved.
Awesome Im so thankful for their service it really helped a lot thank you so much..
They were very caring and humble.discuss details about the problem and pre cautions
I didnt make my appointment and I really hate doing surveys
Very helpful and caring. Always very attentive and patient. Treatment has helped me.
Beyond words! Life changing, life saving, world class health care!!! The absolute deepest of gratitude to the entire staff that helped me in my journey! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Dr Krupp was fantastic - great bedside manner.
I go to Denver Health for all of my medical needs, but I’ve been going to the women’s care clinic for my prenatal care. I absolutely love coming here for my care. All of the staff members are extremely compassionate and professional. I always feel like my concerns are heard and not taken lightly, which isn’t always the case for someone of my demographic. Dr. Heybourne, in specific, has been excellent. He informed me of a recommended surgical procedure that would benefit me and my child. He was there every step of the way with compassion and knowledge. Weeks after the procedure, he continued to check in on me and make sure I was okay. I’ve never experienced that level of care before. The nurses and their bedside manner is impeccable as well. They are also prompt with their responses whenever I send messages through the MyChart app. 10/10.
The lady physicians were a delightful reprieve in what was a very traumatic hospital stay. I dont say that lightly. They were relatable and kind. They explained everything they did. I appreciate theyre good nature.
The everyone from the front office staff to the doctors was very helpful. It is clear how much they care about the health and safety of the patients.
I love Denver health they really care about the ppl that comes in that needs help I love it there would change it for nothing I have a wonderful 🤱 her name is Emily she is great to me I love that she wants to help me and I just love all the women thats there great ppl just a peaceful place to be at were u can smile and just enjoy everyone that comes in
I was seen promptly and all my questions were addressed. My provider was very warm and engaged. I recommend DH Womens Care Clinic!
Empathetic, respectful, and thorough professionals here - it’s so refreshing to feel heard and valued at the obgyn!
My experience was great! Amanda Dancler is an amazing midwife
I just had my first OB intake appointment here and I absolutely love this place! The staff is so incredibly friendly, and they won’t hesitate to answer any questions you have! I’m honestly a bit sad that I’ll have to switch facilities when I move back to my home state! I was in and out with no problems, I would highly recommend them!
After helping me get pregnant through fertility treatment, they didn’t wanna help me anymore with any issues I was having while being pregnant. Told me that I had to refer to whoever I was going to my pregnancy care for, which was them? So I got confused about that? Overall I loved Megan linden she was amazing in helping me get pregnant! And judy one of the nurses was very helpful with answering my questions fairly quick.
The staff is so friendly and relaxed and made me feel welcome right from the start. I was able to explain all my issues because the provider Tara took the time to get deep into my medical history and discuss my options. I didn’t feel rushed like I did at other places. I needed blood work done which is upstairs and was able to be seen almost immediately.
I met Dr. Bull for my physical. She is so kind and knowledgeable. She took her time with me and made my questions feel heard and answered. She also responded to my blood work quickly and with detail. I am very grateful for Dr. Bull! I met several people at my visit and they were kind and professional- nurse, bloodwork, front desk.
They are so supportive sincere and caring in what they do I am making a change to go to the west side, healthcare clinic, and wouldn’t go anywhere else after going to be taken care of by them. Thank you so much to all the staff there who made me feel welcomed and cared for.💕✨
Everyone is always great. My doctor is absolutely amazing. The clinic is always clean. Everyone is so professional. The staff are very communicative. I appreciate what use all do.thank you
It was great as really helpful.excellent. My doctor made my day.
Amazing care even when I was running late for my appointment
Great experience with Dr. Mendez. I appreciate the group of women that supported me through this process. I felt heard and well cared for throughout the process.
I couldnt see my regular midwife today so I had an appointment with Catey and she was by far the worst experience Ive had with a midwife yet. Tried putting me on SSRIs and assumed that Im suicidal and at risk to my baby just because I experience depression. I went in for an early appointment because of sharp pain Ive been having so I requested an ultrasound to check on baby before anything bad happens which she refused and told me to try tylenol and a belly band first. She didnt respect any of my questions, wishes or concerns, she shut me down and was focused on all the wrong things. Someone like this should not be a midwife. She wanted me on SSRIs to control my cortisol levels but she probably made my levels spike more than anything else has throughout my pregnancy. The disrespect and disregard was immense and Im infuriated with how I was treated today.
I look forward to visiting my PCP because she takes time listening to my needs and explaining what I don’t understand. She is friendly and easy to talk to. The other staff are welcoming and helpful as needed.
I had a great experience here. The practitioners put me at ease and had a wonderful bedside manner. I really appreciated how they treated me and supported me in feeling comfortable in an uncomfortable situation.
One of the best pregnancy experience ever! The staff was absolutely amazing! Thank you all who helped bring my son into this world!
The Womans care clinic always takes care of my needs. They are very prompt in taking me back and provider was quick about seeing me.Thank you Maritza for being thorough during my check in. Thank you Nicole for tending to my needs.
The doctor I saw this day was awesome. Answered all my questions and made sure I understood everything that was being done. Also made me very comfortable for a very uncomfortable procedure. Best experience Ive had and thats saying a lot since the gynecologist is the last place you ever wanna be. Lol....
This was a Telehealth visit, and I really feel that much was accomplished!
Very professional, clean and polite staff.
The midwives are the best! Sarah is my absolute favorite. She takes to time to actually ask me how I am doing while treating me in the most non-judgmental way possible. I feel heard and action was taken when my back was hurting so bad I couldnt walk during my 1st and 2nd pregnancies.
I have never in almost 40 years received such awesome care for myself than I have been receiving in the past year from Denver Health Womens Care Clinic! I have to admit 98% of my review today is all because of Dr. Kaylin Klie I honestly dont even know that I can put into text exactly how much I appreciate her. I have never had such exceptional care from a doctor in my life! She has taken her time to understand me when I speak, she has never judged me when I know others have! Dr. Klie is easy to talk to and has gone above & beyond for me when I thought there wasnt anyone who really even cared! She is 100% the best out there and If all providers would follow her lead they are set up for being the best!Thank you Denver Health for having a top knotch provider!#BestCare#DenverHealth
I loved the experience fast didn’t have to wait long at all
Always great care with this team. Phoebe takes her time with us and thoughtfully answers our questions! She is a wonderful provider and I fully trust her care.
I had the pleasure of working with Catherine Buckland, NP, and found her to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful in terms of highlighting all of my options. I was quite pleased with my recent appointment and would highly recommend Denver Health Women’s Center. Thank you for all of your help!
The resident was one of the most knowledgeable doctors I’ve ever encountered either as a fully licensed physician or resident. She was patient and kind and answered all of my questions and was sure to acknowledge my wife during the procedure. I only wish they had done a better job of explaining how long the cramping would last post insertion. Maybe they did but it didn’t really click like all the rest of the info they went over. Could have been the Adivan…
I always like the experience, but today was my first day at the pharmacy but the experience was really bad. The guy at the counter were careless, especially Jason. He checked my Id and told me to step aside and wait at the next window while they’re working on my order, and ignore me there. 30 min later I went back to his window to ask him if my package isn’t ready before he told me yes and send me go through the line again just to pick up only one of my medicines out of 2. He wasn’t even able to explain me what’s going on with the one missing. I finally spent one hour just to get a vitamin
Dr Narr is absolutely amazing very understanding!
Womens health care clinic is great, the ladies there make yoy feel welcome and calm your nerves. The clinic as a whole for my experience that day was awesome. Special thanks to Jenny Baxter.
10/10 loveliest experience at the gynecologist. Everyone I interacted with— Norma, Elizabeth and Sarah —were all kind, thoughtful and respectful. It was the easiest pap Ive ever had. They gave lots of great advice and answered all of my questions! Definitely would recommend! Plus, its a 5 minute walk from my apartment so it was super easy to get there!
Not yet had a bad experience with Denver Health and I’ve been coming here my whole life and now bring my kids.. the only thing I wouldn’t give the last star for is in the emergency department the nurses can be snappy most times.. if you can’t handle tired parents with sick kids don’t work in the ER.. other than that I love the west side clinic.. the staff is always on point with my kids needs.
Very helpful and friendly. Services provided quickly.
I love the womens health care clinic at Denver Health! Everyone is very friendly and makes your experience comfortable. I was in for my appointment and out within 25min! I love every doctor I have ever worked with. They are kind and answer all my questions!
Very nice and knowledgeable and help me with my concerns
Friendly, Fast and welcoming environment. They make your visit relaxing and easy to swallow if you have bad news. Theyre super helpful and overall wonderful.
Great hospital.. good service
This is the best health clinic I have ever been to. Everyone is pleasant, no long wait times, nurses are GREAT, my doctor is great. They even have a service that speaks 25+ different languages, so everyone can be understood.
Staff in the Womens Care Clinic are friendly and made me feel comfortable during my visit.
They took very good care of me and explained everything they were going to do and everything I should expect.
I loved Dr, Nguyen. She was punctual, kind, empathetic and spent time explaining everything to me in detail. I have been suffering for almost 2 years and for the first time I felt listened to, understood and have some hope of recovery. Everyone I came into contact with, from the front desk check in to the MA, they were all amazing and kind. I was a bit worried because I have never been to Denver Health and had heard some not so great things. They totally blew me away with their professionalism and kindness, exceeding my expectations in every way. I recommend the Women’s Clinic in Denver Health.
One of the best OB/GYN experiences I’ve had. Got me in on time, the staff was great and Emily Kritzler is fantastic! I had most of my lab test results by the end of the day and overall am very happy with my care!
With the nurse, doctor & midwife that I got, they made me feel like they really care and worried about my health. I really appreciated that! They are great and respectful at all times! ❤️❤️
2nd time being pregnant and everytime I come to the womens clinic at denver health I get blessed with the most dedicated, kindest and understanding staff and nurses. Very grateful for them.
Dr Muffley is the sweetest and most thoughtful doctor I have ever met! Great at his job as well! Quite thorough!
Dr. Jennifer Heyer is a highly skilled surgeon, and a compassionate, caring and understanding medical doctor. She also has a unique sense of humor that somehow put me at ease and gave me a lot of confidence that I was in the best of hands: hers. She set the tone for the whole nursing staff and the caregivers for my stay in the hospital after my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Heyer and the whole Denver Health team; they were all top notch in every way. Its hard to put put into words how grateful I am to Dr. Heyer and the medical staff at Denver Health-for how they treated me and what they have done for me. Thank you so much.
I have been going through IVF and infertility for over a year and struggling with needing extra diagnostic procedures on top of the fertility treatments. Dr Adkins had so much empathy towards me and my situation and able to get me in quickly for a procedure that was required before moving on with the next fertility embryo transfer. Dr Adkins kindness and willingness to help me brought me to tears and took so much stress off of me. She not only did a great job with my procedure, but emotionally helped me more than she will ever know. The day of the procedure her whole team was incredibly nice and proficient.
Great experience the doctors & nurses and staff are amazing 😀
Everyone was patient, supportive, and created a very comfortable atmosphere. My doctor made casual conversation with me throughout my appointment asking me random questions about myself to keep my mind occupied, then sat with me and talked for a bit afterwards. I felt like they genuinely cared about my well-being, and I left happy!
Dr. Muffly is the best. I have seen him for many years and he is always empathetic, kind, gentle and most of all, an amazing listener. He treats 3 generations of my family and that says a lot to how he relates to multiple generations!
A nurse was supposed to call me for my appointment and never did. I ended up having to call myself and ask around about if I was supposed to wait or call in myself. I finally received a call 20 minutes after my appt time.Theyre getting better. I do love my OBGYN shes professional and I can tell she cares.
My experience at Denver Health Women’s Care was exceptional. The staff is friendly and attentive from the front desk to the care providers. There was not a moment when I felt like I wasn’t being listened too and taken seriously, which I know is a big issue women face with their healthcare. This is a wonderful and supportive place for women to receive top notch care.
My experience was Great! The midwife was friendly and was very gentle. The most comfortable I felt getting a pap smear. Wish I would of known this The last 30 years of my life.
The staff is always professional and timely, they do everything to make you feel comfortable and make sure you are safe at home. The appointments are easy to make and during the appointments, they will help with whatever you need assistance with, so I love coming to the Womens Care Clinic here at Denver Health for all the above mentioned reasons! However, they had to reschedule a pap smear as the first one didnt have enough to have clear results from tests, so I had to schedule another one and I might have to pay out of pocket for that mistake...
Center that only takes care of specific women and denies health care to a woman thus she has to look in other countries to have prenatal care. Disgusting group of women who hate women
The worst hospital to get seen at if you are expecting. Theres no communication between doctors, nurses and front desk staff. They cant keep up their patients because of how low staff is and the staff they have now is really bad. If you can, skip. No one should be going through so much frustration just to get proper care specially while pregnant
My niece just had a baby here and they did something wrong during delivery as the baby is fine we are worried about my niece further action will be taken. As well as the security guards are incompetent
The providers I saw at the Womens Care Clinic at Westside were wonderful! Every person I came into contact with, was professional, kind and answered any question I had. Dr. Stefka Fabbri and Nurse Liz Rolen were both absolutely wonderful and made me feel very comfortable with the procedure I was having.
Denver health care has completely changed FOR THE BETTER! Ive never felt so cared for by any hospital or clinic. Yes sometimes the front desk ladies are rude as heck but the couple Doctors and ultrasound techs in the Womans Care Clinic are phenomenal. They have called to check on me each week with out any suggestion. From the moment I needed them they have been there for me with NON-judgmental care. Yes they are the # 1 trauma center but have since proved to be more than that. I sincerely hope that they continue to show up each day like they have these past 6 weeks! Keep up the great work and thank you for making me feel as though Im really cared for. All of this comes from a place where I hated Denver health from horrible past experiences, so much so that I made sure I had my baby at another hospital in Denver. I decided to give them another chance with my care and so far I am happy I did.**Edit the front desk staff are horrible especially the ones that are supposed to set you up appointments she wrote it on her hand that I needed a 3-week follow-up and said that she would just call me back or just schedule it and Ill see it in my chart while she never did that its imperative for me to have that 3 week checkup its already been a week since and no new information. Please train front desk to handle appointment scheduling better and please work on their attitude theyve always had poor attitudes.
I liked the care they provided.
Check in was easy and the receptionist was friendly. My practitioner was warm and listened to my top 3 health concerns. I was offered a referral and a preview of future remedies for my other female entering her forites health issues. I will be back.
Denver Health has been in my life since 2019, treating my Lupus and other health concerns. This year I welcomed a beautiful baby boy and their L&D nurses are the greatest nurses I could’ve gotten. I absolutely loved how caring and gentle their care was! All the nurses my baby has had are all very tentative and caring.
Great clinic. Dr. Adkins provided excellent care and peace of mind, and I found her assistant Philip to be very comforting and easy to talk to. The team up front is also quite welcoming.
As a trans patient, the staff have been very respectful in using my name & pronouns during checkin, making it feel like a safe place. I saw Rae Narr & they were very fast & helpful in scheduling me in quickly at a time catering to my schedule. & after my visit with them, I feel like they really genuinely care about the patients they see. I would def recommend them & this office!
All of the midwives we have met so far have been friendly, informative, and have taken there time to ensure all our questions are answered. We’re so glad we chose Denver Health for prenatal care!
Denver health was ok great place to have surgery at and a great place to have kids at as well but I will never have my kids here someday very unfriendly staff and place and they have my gender at birth is wrong Im a female not male and I hate when the nurses put info in wrong
Geri Walsh was incredibly kind and generous with her time. She really listened and took the thorough wholistic approach to my health that I have come to associate with Midwives.
The staff was fast and efficientVery pleased with how they take care of me!
This has truly been an amazing establishment in every way possible! The midwives are amazing the assistants are amazing. They care about your wellbeing whether your pregnant or 6 month to a year after having baby! They call to remind you of appointments you need to be scheduling what kind of help they can provide and everything you need done is in that building. The website for lab results and appointment scheduling is so easy to use! You will not be disappointed going here! I wont go anywhere else for care! Denver Health Hospitals and Clinics really surprised me! Blew my mind actually!! Truly great staff, building, everything!
The Womens Health Clinic C , Suset was extremely helpful , she was sitting in the middle front desk, this lady treats people like how they should be treated like how any person should be, the woman at the desk in front of ob screening Blanca extremely rude looks at people like their scum and irritation while checking you in.
Professional and personable medical staff. Thanks for taking great care of me through my surgery.
NP Montgomery is the best! So kind and helpful.
Everyone in the office was really welcoming and kind. I was anxious and I had a lot of questions, but staff was professional, helpful, and supportive throughout my entire procedure, before & after. I’ve never had a more comfortable, stress free & easy gynecology appointment. Thank you, you are a phenomenal office!
Every time, Im here I receive such high quality care and genuine interest in my health. I never feel rushed or unheard and honestly probably the best healthcare service Ive ever received. So thank you!
Denver Health Womens Care Clinic has given me such a great experience. I have recently transferred to Denver Health from another hospital and healthcare operation. I really enjoyed my last clinic, so Im very pleased that the level of service is up to par. I have been treated with respect, care, and compassion during my process throughout 2022.
I love Denver health. GREAT help
I felt welcomed and the midwife was very helpfulI really appreciate her help and she will still be there for me whenever I need her
Fantastic surgery experience. Everyone was very kind and professional. Surgeon actually followed up with me on multiple occasions post-surgery to inquire about my pain levels and how I was getting along. The patient navigators were also excellent. I reached out to them with a question and they had an answer for me within an hour. I couldnt have asked for a better experience!
I really appreciate your support, care, and kindness. They saved my life. Everyone is so nice and caring.
They were quick, friendly and helpful!
I didn’t think the MA Perla treated me as an individual. I felt like I was just another number in her list. She never made eye contact and kept asking her questions as a script. Being a former employee of DH and receiving training in AIDET, she did a very poor job.I also felt the appointment took a long time, because the medical student wasn’t asking enough questions and had to come back three times to verify information and report back. Resident and attending spent probably 10min tops including a pelvic exam, I could had left the clinic in half an hour.I only give 2 stars because of registration. We need to do better and try to personalize service. Medical care is very expensive for costumers too, let’s try to serve them as how we want to get served.
Totally and completely trust and appreciate the women of the women’s care clinic at Denver Health. I was very well taken care of and respected throughout my emergency operation. Thank you
Amazing staff! They are very trans-friendly and made me feel welcome and accepted every step of the way. Very transparent with explanations/procedures/insurance. Had my procedure with Dr. Hyer who is an amazing surgeon and person! Would definitely recommend Denver Health for their Women’s Care Clinic and other services!
I had a really tough surgery. It was my first sugery ever, and I really felt safe and secure. Alex really stayed on top of my pain and made me feel at home. I definitely would recommend Denver Health to my friends and family.
Denver Health Womens Healthcare Clinic exceeded my expectations. The staff was timely, helpful and friendly. I had a very pleasant experience with Stephanie C Sahadeo, NP! She went above and beyond to answer my questions and made the entire appointment very comfortable for me. I couldnt recommend her services any more.
Worst place ever to go, when I was 16 weeks pregnant I went to my appointment got there 20 mins before time like they suggested but they had me waiting for 1:30 they were supposed to send a referral for my 20 week ultrasound but they forget they told me to wait that I was going to receive a call to set up time and date and that never happened, when I went in for my 20 weeks check up they were able to finally send the referral for the ultrasound and they got me in at 23 weeks pregnant the day a arrived to my ultrasound I was running a little late they couldn’t see me because supposedly one of the girls had to leave early so they canceled my appointment I told them I live 50mins away the traffic is horrible I now that is not there problem but in the main hospital there was cars parked that you couldn’t get through to go to the valet parking they didn’t take that in consideration I never arrive late I’m always on time this was my FIRST time arriving late they don’t care about your time I will be switching hospitals
Surgery went great and I loved my doctor and most of my care team. The student that was learning how to set up my IV was horrible tho. She turned my entire arm purple and had zero bedside manner. And it was the only time i had an IV hurt and bleed a bunch. Het trainer didnt stop or fix her actions at all. It was nort a great start to my surgery day and made me questions everyone elses qualifications to even be in the building. Usually I love denver health but yesterday sucked for first 2 hours of being there.
Had such a great first experience with Dr. Chupp! Looking forward to having her help me along my health journey.
From my experience at Denver Health I can say that Im am very comfortable with my care provider Amanda C Dancler .she has made my pregnancy A very smooth process since day 1 .she is the most kind and joyful person I have met she is always smiling and just so positive and comforting especially these last few weeks ..and over all i feel that denver health is a very nice hospital i have always chosen them for My families care ...
So thoughtful, took time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Thank you!
My experience was awful. They called me the morning of my appointment to send me somewhere else “because of insurance clarification around payment”. They then made me wait an hour to say they would make an exception. Felt like discrimination, ageism and poor service. I waited 2 months for that appointment for them to call me the morning of to turn me away and shame me. Awful behaviour and awful client care!
Dr. Muffly is the most genuine and comfortable surgeon/doctor Ive ever had. He thoroughly explains procedures and other options in such a calming manner and truly listens to what I have to say. He respects me and my needs and has saved my life on multiple occasions. Even aside from him, all of the other nurses and surgeons Ive dealt with in this department were nothing less than lovely and dealt with my anger upon waking up from surgery (anesthesia does not make me a happy camper lol). I love it here and Im so grateful for everyone in this facility!
I really am happy with my service. They were on time and the nurse practitioner took her time with me. Let me talk and I never felt rushed to get to her next patient.
Denver Health Women’s Clinic has been amazing every time I have an appointment or with anything pertaining to my health. I am always seen in a timely manner and the entire clinic staff is always courteous, understanding and helpful.
Great docs. I’m so grateful for Denver Health.
Did not listen to me. Did not run the tests I asked them to run. Still in serious pain.
The people are friendly and helpful, but the clinic is not staffed well enough to support the amount of patients available. It takes several days to get in touch with my doctor, and it takes several months to get an appointment in person. I was referred to this clinic because I have a complicated problem that doesnt present normally, but the only people who are available to help me immediately when I have symptoms are on-staff nurses who dont know my whole history. I strongly believe that if I had access to responsive doctors who could see me when I actually had symptoms, my issue would be solved.
I feel privileged to have delivered my infant at DH. Everyone from start to finish, took excellent care of me and my family. The midwives listened to my goals and helped me achieve them. My labor and delivery nurse was very supportive and was instrumental in keeping me calm. The Post Partum nurses were very helpful and supportive. I never had to wait for supplies or medication. Six days postpartum. I began hemorrhaging at home. My husband and rushed to the OB screening room. The staff took me to a room right away. A midwife came in and the OB chief was soon to Follow. Together, they isolated the source of the bleeding, and again I was taken care of by the excellent staff at Denver Health.
Medical staff, is very kind, patient, and caring. Im grateful for Denver Health womans care took great care of me, before and after surgery . They saved me from ovarian cancer . Thank you.
Brenda Q. was so warm, kind, thoughtful and comforting. My experience couldnt have been better. She was very knowledgable and the perfect person for me to see.
I required a biopsy and after seeing my emotional reaction, Dr. Boney put me at ease. She wrote me an rx to help me relax and scheduled me for the following week (Today). She was empathetic and compassionate toward me. She was confident in her ability to answer questions as well as perform the procedure. Additionally, she had the opportunity to write a prescription prior to receiving biopsy results and chose to air on the side of caution. She’s a fantastic doctor who I will stick with as long as possible!!
I continuously asked to go home and they refused to let me. i was in my right mind asking for this as i went in for food poisoning and ended up needed a bunch of other things due to the disease i currently have. they kept telling me theyd talk to a doctor but never got back to me. i asked for pain meds considering i was in severe pain and i got blown off until the last minute when they thought tylenol would help in any way shape or form. it didnt.
If you can set appts with the midwives, like J. Baxter, she & others are personable, attentive and most knowledgeable. Often bit more in touch on womens health, & take more time to answer questions. The front office staff made things easy at West clinic off Federal.
Had a different Dr today & she is very personableShe took extra to nicely introduce herself from behind the curtain. I was not uncomfortable but appreciated her extending the gesture
I generally like the clinic and the midwives there. However, I had a substitute midwife and she was awful. Her name is Sheila and she didnt listen to anything I said and jumped to a conclusion and came up with an inaccurate diagnosis due to judging me on my size instead of the signs. She was rude and very apparent that she only cared about what she had to say and nothing I had to say.
I had a great experience for my first time visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next appointment
Was very helpful and understanding about my concerns
My midwife Alexis Harmon is a great person and midwife always so kind and respectful. I just love her. I was have good service from the time I walk in and out.
The staff at the Denver health womens Care clinic are very professional very friendly and are the best in their profession. I wholeheartedly recommend the womens Care clinic at Denver health to anyone for diagnosis. I Love The care that I got there. I want to thank them for taking such good care of me.
My experience at Denver Health Womens Care Clinic was a pleasant experience, everyone was kind and friendly.Thank you Ladys!!
Was there early and on time. Still got seen about 10-15 mins after appointment time.Mid wife was really nice and reassuring but I still have to go back for lab work on my time before my next appointment because they didn’t have anyone there today to perform my glucose test.
