Thank goodness that they were willing to take care of me. They took X-rays and told me to go to an emergency room. Thank goodness the doctor did because come to find out I had pneumonia and heart problems. I love this access medical center. Thank you so much. Roberson
We are in Edmond for a softball tournament traveling from the west coast. We needed our daughter’s hand xrayed to ensure she didn’t have a break. We called the office five min before the last appointment fearing they’d turn us away. But they registered us over the phone. They were extremely kind throughout our entire appointment. We highly recommend!
Woke up with UTI symptoms. Made an appointment and was seen at 8am. Very strange conversation while getting my blood pressure and weight checked. Followed up by additional testing and was instructed on what to do in an interesting way. I think that the staff was trying to be laid back and friendly, but the professionalism was a little bit lacking. My scripts also were not sent to the pharmacy that day so I had to call. By the time they were sent I was informed by the pharmacy I wouldn’t be able to get my medicine until the following day at noon. So I have to deal with the discomfort for an additional day. Glad I received care, but I don’t think I’ll return to this location. The dr herself was wonderful and kind, but the other aspects of the appointment were unfortunately discomforting.
Appointments are super easy to make and the location is convenient. Front staff is also very helpful. However my concerns have been pushed off several times, it’s my own fault that I keep going back. You can also hear them talking about you. And they were making bets on what my tests will come back as. Super unprofessional and inappropriate.
Absolutely ridiculous!! I do not have insurance. This visit cost me $510 for them to only strep and flu test me only to tell me what they think I have is viral. Just to be seen, the visit starts at $335 so those 2 little swabs added up! Healthcare is absolutely not for the people anymore. It is for lining pockets. This is a big example of why people can’t get the medical care they need, they flat can’t afford it! Totally disgusted!!
Been coming here for minor ailments for years. Providers change, the receptionist change but the care and service stay the same. Ben takes the vitals. He is genuine and kind with the kids everyitme we come in. Learned they do sport physicals without appointment. Great access for the community.
The doctor that my son saw was very kind and helpful. He didnt rush us and listened to us and prescribed him 2 medications to help my son. The doctors at the 15th St. office are fantastic.
They were super fast and efficient! Everyone there is nice and kind! Ben was a rockstar drawing blood on my 14 year old daughter! She said that was easy! Thank you!
Was able to get an appointment as soon as they opened. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Staff was very friendly. Using this facility much easier than primary clinic.
We was in town from Western Kentucky, moving our daughter out of UCO to her new apartment and my wife became ill. The staff was very polite and the physician was very knowledgeable and attentive to my wife. Highly recommended.
Dr. Did an excellent job! Thanks staff! the receptionist kept the front very clean and she was nice also, the nurse was nice.
All the staff went above and beyond my expectations! I dont usually share my experiences but just had to about this great service, they were so accommodating, kind and accurate with diagnosis and treatment!
It was not crowded, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The Dr I saw was compassionate, caring and knew how to help me. Wonderful experience
The staff were all professional and took care of my infection well. I was a walk in in the morning and the wait time was short. Cassidy Moore PA was great!
Oh my goodness this place is THE worst!! The doctor was this mean old lady she interrupted me did not listen to what’s going on and had no idea what she’s doing. She was totally disrespectful and had no empathy. Total waste of money these urgent cares are awful!! Total waste of money and time. They will judge you beware! And talk about you behind your back and laugh!!
I am very thankful for Candice Miller, PAC. She was so helpful, attentive and personable! She made me feel so comfortable! Thank you!
I was charged the co pay even though this place of business did not offer any bloodwork services. I stated it in my information I filled out on my phone. And yet was charged for absolutely no help except for a referral. I didn’t go there for a referral, I came for bloodwork. So why was I charged $30 for no help. That’s ridiculous. Otherwise the staff were very kind and respectful.
I highly recommend this Access Medical. I’ve been 2 times in the past year. The offices are always clean, the wait is never too long, and the staff is very friendly. I signed up for an appointment online and arrived 10 minutes early (as asked). They even have complimentary water bottles while you’re waiting! I told them what I thought was wrong with me on my online application for an appointment and as soon as they called me back, they were prepared for me and were able to get me in & out of there within 25 minutes!!! That’s the kind of service I come back for!
I was quick to get in and seen. The doctor and staff were very kind and helpful with my issue. Quick resolution and a plan for recovery.
Very professional and friendly staff. I made an appointment and was seen at that time, no extra waiting. I will be coming back.Thank you for your help.
Great clinic! Friendly staff. The male nurse who has been there for 10 years is always pleasant and professional. He’s excellent at his job. The doctor was kind and compassionate. They were amazing with my daughter with special needs! Thanks for the excellent care!
Staff is always so sweet and so helpful. Never had a negative experience here once. Ben? I believe was his name? I’ve seen a couple times and he’s the most friendly person ever! I always leave this place with a smile, despite feeling ill. 10/10 recommend this place for everyone!!
The team was very supportive and took the time to talk to me about my medical issue. I didnt feel like my concerns werent important to them.Yes, I will recommend the center to my friends and family. As a patient I felt that they wanted to help me get back on my feet. Thanks for everything.Carolyn Gray
Felt we were treated better by the staff and more carefully than our primary care.
Nicole the PA, at Edmond is awesome, have followed this PA, she is that great. Dalton front desk is awesome in and out. Ben the MA, done a wonderful job at Stabbing for covid and strep. Great people.
The nurses and doctors were all extremely nice and professional. I’d happily return.
I sure wished they had more equipment here because I wouldve rather dealt with Urgent Care instead of E.R. Lydia was the 1st person I dealt with. She really let herself relate to me in order to help my needs.. It was amazingly wonderful. She was EXTREMELY helpful to me. And then when I arrived it was clean inside, which is probably her too. Then Ben, the Medic, helped me. Man, He knows his stuff and hes so humble about it. And Hes so easy to connect with about what youre dealing with Medically. Its like they ALL really want to help patients there. It was so nice to see. Ive used them twice this year and both times it was an awesome experience, which is why I keep going back. Unfortunately, both of my medical problems were too deep for them to treat me so I had to go to E.R. But I sure wished I couldveused them. The wait was SHORT in a clean waiting room and the help was efficient, caring, and sincere-real. And finally the doctor was honest, nice, and knowledgeable and smiled. And just bent over backwards for me to get the proper help I needed; not just any old referral. And she didnt charge me once she knew they couldnt treat me. I like this particular ACCESS Urgent Care center. Ben is so compassionate and he seems to genuinely care about his patients. And Lydia is helpful even when she could say no, but instead she helps you anyway. So was the doctor.
Scheduling the appt was a breeze the secretary was very kind and helpful 🙂 wait time was quite a bit but when you consider its a small unit operating the building its understandable. All staff was very kind and helpful! Would Def come again regardless the wait ❤️
I was in and out so quick. the staff was very friendly and professional.
Our appointment was at 530 and we got back at 545. They close at 6. The nurse made it clear that she wasn’t happy that we were being seen in front of the other person in the waiting room (a walk in) and that “we close at 6 so I don’t know why they would schedule someone at 545!” However, the physician was so kind and patient. Even helped me find a pharmacy that was open (we were seen on a holiday weekend).
This is a good place to get attended to with your medical needs
Sara and the guy who administered my tests (sorry I didn’t get his name) were SO sweet and personable. I will absolutely be back if/when needed. This was the easiest and quickest urgent care/clinic experience that I’ve had. I highly recommend making an appointment to streamline your experience, but even so, no one was waiting when I showed up.
This girl at the counter is absolutely no help and should find another source of employment. Says WALK IN and she proceeds to inform about must make an appointment.Who exactly works for who? With clinics GALORE in this area they should practice some customer service skills.
Lavonte & Brooklyn PA were wonderful. Very pleasant experience.
Everyone was wonderful. Kept the entire visit light and kept us laughing after my son had a wreck. Thorough, kind and just a wonderful group to be treated by tonight . Thank you so much
Was fast open on Sunday evening, and very nice people.
I’ve been coming here since I was in my teens. Today, the front desk person was extremely pleasant and Nurse was very kind and knowledgeable. The Doctor was great and did a thorough examination.
We arrived, checked in and were waiting. Another patient came in after, said they hadn’t checked in and I overheard they had the same symptoms as my child. Receptionist checked them in and let them go ahead of us. We were at our appt for an hour.
Everyone was nice ,Dr was great he explained everything to me my family told me about this place !!
Paperwork took a bit of time, I suppose it was because I was a new patient. But the staff was great , friendly and courteous. Didnt make me feel uncomfortable like some other clinics I have been to. Explained everything we had to do.
Charged $75 for the doctor to see me less than a minute and tell me to go somewhere to get my issues looked at because there was nothing they could do there. No help at all. While they may be helpful to some, don’t come here unless you expect to get charged a ridiculous amount of money even if they don’t do anything for you.
These people are great! They get you in and out! You are taken care of and questions answered. They actually send your perscriptions in a timely manner. They have always been so friendly. I have used then 3x now and I would use then again. Brooklyn was great! Highly recommend.
I was in & out very quickly. I was seen by a physician & given the scripts I needed. I felt like the doctor listened to me. He said if I didnt improve in a week to follow up with my PCP. The support staff was very friendly, efficient & funny. I was very satisfied with my care. I would recommend Access Medical Center.
Very impressed with the PA and all the service that i received!!!!! All the Employees were very helpful !!
Other than the excessive wait when I had an appointment the staff and Taylor the PA were wonderful. Very caring and efficient. Once Taylor saw me I was in and out within 30 minutes. It’s close to my office so if I feel horrible at work again I will definitely be returning to this Urgent Care.
Staff is attentive, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Facility is chosen and always stocked. I really appreciate having them close and I definitely recommend
Horrible I went in for an ingrown toe nail and when I get there after waiting in the lobby they tell me they cant help me. I called customer service and waited on hold over 30 minutes to talk to someone to verify that they could do the ingrown toenail removal. And then when I go to leave, they did not touch me they did not assist me. They still charged me for a visit why I would like my money back and I would definitely like to report that you have the worst customer service known to man and you are a horrible company who lie to patients who really need urgent care just because you want the money. I even tried to talk to the provider and completely ignored my concerns or issues.
Service from front office staff, nurse, and PA was exceptional. Didn’t have a long wait time, filled out all forms electronically from my car, entered for appointment and was finished within 45 minutes. Building is older than others, but it didn’t affect their level of care. Also, Monica and PA Auggie were awesome!
Doctor and staff are really nice and very knowledgeable!
No wait time, seen the doctor quickly, nice staff
Came in for smashing my thumb in car door. All of the staff were quick with analysis and x-rays. Having such energetic energy made the visit less awful. Definitely recommend when needing an urgent care!
My visit was great all the way around. Great staff, nurse and doctor. I was in and in less than an hour
Medical assistant and nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant were very nice and highly effective. The system had the wrong address on my prescription and the front desk sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy.
The PA was very empathetic, gentle, and understanding. I felt like he cared about my well-being and genuinely wanted to help. I will definitely be going here next time I need urgent care.
In the past I have always had an outstanding experience until last week. I made an 8:00 appointment for a COVID test and the medical staff was late getting there it took 40 minutes to get back to a room and no other patients were there. I was upset about the wait (I needed to get to work) especially since I made the appointment the week before, but the PA reprimanded me. After that I didnt want her to touch me. I was there for over an hour and had the worst experience. When I go there again, I will check first to see who is working.
Prompt service, polite, caring staff. Very good care!
The staff is very friendly and they were quick with me in to the doctor. The doctor was very friendly as well. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone.
My experience with the doctors and the nurse was absolutely wonderful. The receptionist not so much. I understand people have to do their job but she did not offer other ways to pay my bill after my insurance did not go through. She basically kind of treated me like a criminal like I was going to get treatment and run out. I intend to call the center and talk to someone.
I was able to make a same day appointment around 8:30 for 11:30. I was seen about 15 minutes after checking in for my Covid-19 test. I got results within minutes before I left. The staff was very friendly and professional. I highly recommended going here. I have soonercare insurance. This was from a couple months ago
I went in there because I couldn’t get an appointment for my insulin at primary doctor. I brought in diabetes medicine to show nurse practitioner or PA. I had Novolin FlexPen. Not the vial. I needed refills. I physically showed him the pen. I went to Walmart and told them the PA wrote the wrong prescription. Walmart faxed and contacted urgent care. No Response. A few days later stills nothing. I called Access and they got my number and left a message for PA.And their responseNothingLazy healthcare unprofessionalsDon’t go thereThey aren’t that busyLazyUnprofessionalIs the summation of the so called urgent careSitting behind their desk pretending to be busy when all they are doing is on their phoneTheir jobSee a patient and enter note in the computerNot that difficultHe can’t even change a simple prescription🤦♂️
In and out pretty quickly. Great staff
I have a weak immune system and have visited this Access Medical center about 5 times this year for UTIs and covid and other respiratory viruses. They always take care of me! Their facilities are clean and sanitary. I would recommend to friends and family members. Only downside is that it does usually have a longer wait period in the waiting room.
From the minute I stepped in the door till the minute I walked out I was treated very nicely. Lisa was very thorough and made sure I got the right items to help me feel better. There was only one person in front of me so it went quicklyThanks to all. Doug , Florida
The nurse and PA were very professional and kind. They got me in quickly and ran tests in a short time. They also took time to explain symptoms and medications prescribed to help. Wonderful treatment, so glad they are here.
Update: I emailed you to provided email address 5 days ago and didn’t get any response! Still awful customer service! 👎👎👎Awful customer service- it is impossible to reach their billing department and all of them send me to billing department to get my refund. They didn’t run my payment through insurance and I never got my refund
The staff was absolutely amazing! I came in with multiple dog bites to my hands, and they were right on top of getting me fixed up, and out the door so I could get back to my dog that was at the vet having emergency surgery because we were attacked by a neighbors dog. Can’t thank the staff enough!!!!
Pre check-In is convenient, but honestly even without that I have never had much of a wait. Alex was my PA. He was so caring, professional & thorough. He was a lot more thorough than some primary care docs! Always so pleased when I go here! I have never had a bad experience!
So I booked the appointment same day on Solv. I didnt get in till about an hour after my scheduled appointment time but everything clearly was posting to expect delays. The staff and doctors were completely friendly and helpful, and the clinic was spotless. They only allowed one patient in the waiting room at a time.
Staff very friendly and attentive. PA took very good care of me and answered all of my questions. Was very caring.
I was impressed with all the staff. Computer issues slowed down the flow but we all were served, seen, and with individual attention. I will go back when my regular physician isnt available, ER is not necessary, and I need medical care.
The service is always excellent! The staff is always compassionate and caring. There is never a long wait to be seen.Because I am a Vet, I usually go to the VA because it’s free. But free comes “with a price,” meaning there is always a long wait for either a walk-in in the ER, or in the clinic module. At least an hour to two hours. Not with Access Medical! I was in-and -out in less than an hour. Instead of trying rush the process, the took their time to make sure I was given the help I needed.!Now, I am back on to recovery!
I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment, they put me in a room almost immediately. I was in and out in 15 minutes! Great doctor appointment! The staff and the PA were very caring, professional, and helpful.
A Great Medical assistant by the name of Cody, was so helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The checkin was a breeze because I had done it online so there wasn’t a wait. Front desk person and the PA were awesome as well. A super first time experience.
This was the best doctors experience Ive ever had! Everyone was super nice and friendly and professional. Got there at 8:05 am and was in and out by 8:45 even having to fill out new patient info. I felt very listened to and Alex explained everything without making me feel talked down to. Wish it wasnt an urgent care so I could make him my PCP honestly it was a great experience
Both Jen and her male assistant were extremely professional, kind and caring. Jen went to extra lengths to confirm her treatment’s compatibility with my several meds and conditions. They both were A+
I was able to get in fairly quickly, even with the pandemic safeguards. Including telephone check in I was out in about 30 minutes. Staff was very friendly and the physician was good. Ive used Access Medical 5 times now and have had good experiences each time.
Always kind and gets us in there as quickly as can. Even if there is a wait. There hospitality and making sure they get you better is worth it.
Dr. Stout is the best Dr. He is so professional and he has a good personality. He makes you feel at ease and gets right to the problem and fix.The receptionist is friendly and the nurse there is very nice too. They get you in and out rather quickly.I highly recommend this clinic.
Dont even bother to make an appointment at this place because if 10 people walk in before you they still get to check in despite of you having an appointment. I understand in a way but dont tell people on your website to book an appointment if you dont take that in consideration. The staff is great but be prepare to wait a lot!!!
Horrible wait times. I originally was a walk-in during the morning. I came in for a flu test and the original wait time was 2 1/2 hours and the front desk receptionist recommended that I book an appointment. I booked an appointment in the afternoon and when I showed up for my appointment, I was told the wait time is 2 hours long 😒 what is the point of booking appointments if I have to wait HOURS
Rescinding my previous 5 star review. My daughter had pink eye in both eyes, so my mother took her to Access while my husband and I were at work. They let them go through the waiting process, vitals check, and seeing the doctor, until it came time to write the prescription, when they said my mother wasn’t authorized to take my child. They had confirmed earlier that my mother was indeed the grandmother and never thought to tell her about this policy which is absolutely terrible customer service- not to mention my child wasn’t able to get her prescription despite the fact the doctor confirmed she needed one. Paperwork to authorize an alternate caregiver should be easily accessible online if Access is going to enforce this policy.
Worst service ever! Complete rip off. First they gave a diagnosis and medication that was completely inappropriate for the symptoms I had. Needed to go to a professional doctor after visits to this place to get a proper diagnosis and medication. On top of that I was told that for a follow up visit paying out of pocket was only $20 (after I already paid $234 for the first visit). I gave my card and paid for the follow up. After this they send me straight to collections without informing me I owe them more money. This decreased my credit score by 20 pts. and now I have to deal with a collections agency when I was happy to pay them at the time of the visit. Stay away from this place!
The lady at the front desk was friendly. I was seen by the nurse expediently and the doctor was in the examination room just a few minutes after I got in there. She was thorough and pleasant.
It was really nice to be able to see a Dr and it didnt talk all day to be seen I was there for about 30 min starting from the time I checked in the 2 tests they ran vitals taken and seen the Dr and got my paperwork I have never been somewhere that was that fast they are very friendly and they treat you like a human not a number thank you for your time
Was seen immediately, no wait time. Tested for covid, strep, and flu. Had all three results within 15 minutes. Doctor was kind But what really stood out to me was the awesome medical assistant Katrina, she was the kindest person ever. Will come back. Fast service, and extremely kind staff.
I appreciated the efficacy of the process to be seen. They sent a link to my phone to fill out in my vehicle while I waited and eliminated the potential for gathering in their waiting room. The staff was friendly. I’m grateful they were available.
Great staff. Very friendly. Easy check in and registration process. Definitely will return
Nicole was great. Thorough and educational
Don’t waste your time here. I went in on a Tuesday evening for what I suspected was tonsillitis. I waited 45 minutes to be seen despite having checked in online. The nurse took a strep test (one swab for an in-house rapid test), but I didn’t feel it touch my tonsils or throat. I waited 25 minutes for the results. They came back in and swabbed me for the flu without telling me my strep results (which I presumed were negative since they were testing for something else). I waited another half hour and was seen by the PAC once for less than 5 minutes. The nurse eventually came back with the flu test results, which were negative, and told me to just keep alternating ibuprofen ant Tylenol. Because they tested for two things and neither of those tests came back positive, they basically wrote it off. I went home feeling defeated and angry that I spent 2 hours at this place to be told “ibuprofen and Tylenol.” That night I reached a fever of 102 and spent the night shivering and sweating as a result. I went back to Urgent Care the next morning and explained that Tylenol and ibuprofen weren’t cutting it. They said I could be seen again but that they would charge me my copay again and that they would give me the same instructions if the second strep test came back negative. Because if it’s not strep, you’re definitely making it up, right? If anyone had taken the time to interact with me for more than 3 minutes, they would have seen that something was awry. They seemed wholly uninterested in making sure I got adequate care, so I asked for a short-notice appointment with my GP’s office. When I relayed my saga to them, they were apologetic but unsurprised that this had happened to me. It’s apparently something they see quite often. Save yourself the money and go see your GP if you can, even if it means waiting until the next day.Long story short, I was given painfully inadequate care here that was easily addressed the next day at my GP’s office with a round of antibiotics. It was unfortunate that the folks here didn’t care enough to fix their mistake and that I had to go somewhere else and pay again to get the problem addressed.
Very professional, quick appointment.Great for times that you’re not feeling well. Pretty much know what’s wrong but need a doctor to prescribe meds so you feel better soon.
Everyone here was really nice. However, when you walk in, they only had the reception window cracked a tiny bit, and there is a blaring TV right next to it, so I could hardly hear the girl at the desk. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times and even stick my ear in the open space of glass to hear her. The check-in process was easy, and there was no one in front of me, so I got in very quickly.I came in for a strep test because I had a fever a few days before, and my throat had been VERY sore. I had found out a couple of hours before I came in that my boyfriend had strep 2 weeks ago and didnt take antibiotics for it (men 🙄). I also had white all over my tonsils. Obviously strep, right? They NEVER looked at my throat. Every time I have had strep or suspected it, the doctors look in my throat with a light. Nope, they just swabbed me. The rapid test came back negative. Rapid tests only test for strep A. Had they looked in my throat, they would have seen cause for concern and would have ordered a culture. I know this because I have had strep G before, and it had to be cultured because it obviously did not present on the rapid test. When they didnt offer to culture it, I had to request they did. The nurse didnt even know there was such a thing as strep G. This was all honestly pretty mind-blowing to me.They then had me do a covid test, which I knew was going to be negative, and it was. BECAUSE I HAVE STREP!! Never even sent me home with antibiotics. Last time I went to an urgent care and they cultured my strep test, they at least called me in some antibiotics in case it was strep (which it was) so I would no longer be contagious after 24 hours. Now, Im going to be contagious for who knows how long until the culture comes back.I gave 3 stars because the check-in process and paperwork were a breeze and the staff was very kind. But they dont seem too knowledgable here.
Fast, friendly and professional. Ive never waited longer than 10 minutes but I arrive at 8:00am or make an appointment online which is the way to go as they honor those times first. Ive seen both the PA and Doctor and been as equally pleased. Accurate diagnosis and meds. Always pleased with level of care I receive.
Be careful of the billing department and whether or not you can trust the word of the doctor or nurses. Took my kids here because they had strep throat. Dr tested both of them and they came up positive. Dr suggests that I get tested as well even though I feel fine and I have been very careful to ensure that it did not affect me. Dr and nurse assure me that my insurance will take care of all of the costs so I figure why not, just in case. Fast forward 2 years, I decide to buy a truck. There is something negative on my credit! It is from this visit!!!! No prior notification, no letters, no call, they just hit my credit. Even worse, they do not provide the credit companies with their contact info. And to boot, I contact my insurance company and they paid the Drs office for this visit! So they are charging my insurance company, then charging me without even telling me? Sounds pretty fishy to me, I have turned them into the BBB!Do yourself a favor, go find a credible Dr. Not some corporate office that does not hold the Dr himself or herself responsible!!!
Great team over there, I was in a pinch to get my vitals taken by someone official on thenow program, and they were able to get me in and through the entire process in 25 minutes. The PA, Kyle Johnson, was very professional, observant, and his sense of humor made the whole process quite painless. The whole staff, the receptionist, nurse, and PA, were all very helpful and I really felt their desire to help in any way they could, even after what Im sure was a long day.Thank you guys!
Got in and out in under an hour. Kyle, Erica, and the receptionist were all very friendly. Ive serious anxiety with anything doctor related, but they put me at ease and made it a breeze. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.
The staff was fantastic! Kiana the receptionist was very friendly, helpful, and I had a speedy check in. Mikea, the nurse was quick to get my vitals and laughed at a joke I made (which most people dont laugh, so this was huge!). And lastly the provider Dr. Stout helped cure me, well... diagnosed me and gave me prescriptions to solve my problems. He was also friendly! Overall an amazing, super quick visit! And plus Im already feeling a lot better with the meds the doctor prescribed. Two thumbs up, 10 out of 10, 5 stars! You guys rocked!
The Doctor or PA my husband seen was very nice however my husband had some very concerning symptoms and the Doctor seeing him said yes that is very concerning you need to find a primary care Doctor and sent us on our way! Which made us more nervous than we originally was! We have an appointment at another facility tomorrow to get some actual tests done! I was very disappointed with the doctors response!
Love this place! the staff are amazing with kids.they get you in & out really fast!
The weekend doctor was the worst. He was rude, unprofessional, and incredibly disrespectful when I brought my daughter in.I WILL NEVER RETURN OR REFER ANYONE TO THIS PLACE.Replace that terrible doctor and the girl upfront with the bad attitude. Patients and their parents deserve much better.
People mostly very friendly. Had a longer wait today. Arrived at 9:20 AM and wasn’t seen until 10:30 AM despite having a 10:00 AM appointment.
I went to AMC with a hand injury that I knew would require stitches. Less than 1 1/2 hours later I was on my way home . My wound was cleaned, disinfected, stitched, and bandaged. The medical staff was polite, efficient thorough, & professional. My last trip to a big hospital ER had me waiting for 4 hours before I was finally admitted. My trip to AMC was far and away a better experience. This earns Access Medical Centers a 5 star rating in my book. Doug Hackney
Very friendly staff. Although the wait was long, I was sent a link to check my place in line. This allowed me to wait in my vehicle with my child until he moved up on the list. Very helpful for us. After he was called back, didn’t take long to be seen and sent on our way. Thanks!
As a general rule, I dont like urgent care facilities, and I avoid them unless absolutely necessary. The staff were all phenomenal and the PA, Alex Sherry, was excellent.
Staff is great! No long wait. The Doctor spent a few extra minutes talking with me. Very good experience.
When I cant get right into my primary care doctor, I head right over to Access Medical Center. They are always so nice, understanding, and knowledgeable. They have always done a really good job for me and my family.
The staff was all friendly and helpful! The clinic was clean easy to move around.
Their new system for walk ins is atrocious to quote some of the staff. However, I do still agree that the actual treatment was swift and the staff are very patient and kind.
The team was quick to take care of me. They explain to me and sent me to another clinic that had the medication I needed. I highly recommend it!
Ease of scheduling and appointment was great
I hardly EVER write reviews like this. but i feel i have to share. the receptionist and nurse were very nice. when it came time to see the doctor, I kid you not I spoke to him for under a minute and he instantly told me I did not have the flu or strep “based on my stated symptoms” within one minute (probably less), he told me it was a virus and said he’d send medicine to cvs and that I could feel sick for six weeks. I was in his office for maybe two minutes combined. no strep test, no flu test and I had several symptoms of both. he sent me out in two minutes. he could probably see the shock on my face. this was the weekend, so i’m not sure if there are different doctors during the week. I will likely have to go to another urgent care tomorrow to be tested for strep and flu.
People here were very friendly, but I came here for an injury. They dont prescribe any pain meds here. I dont think they should advertise treatment for injuries if pain management is not a part of treatment.
They were very quick and thorough. My daughter has a spider bite, and it was super easy and convenient. They treated us nicely as well. Also!!! You can make an appt!
Must friendliest staff Ive encountered the 25 years Ive been trucking. Every one was very professional, unlike some of the other places Ive had to get a dot physical done this was the best at my next one Im definitely coming back here.
My son had a Sports Physical; PA was friendly and personable, nurse was nice also. We had very little wait time; we were a Walk-in. Thank you.
Very friendly staff. But don’t let them think you might have diabetes or they wont treat you for the reason you came in (sore back) but instead they’ll send you to the ER. Friendly staff but total boneheads.
Decided to take my son here over my typical location, next time we will be making a drive.
Quick response and genuinely kind and professional health care.
I waited over 2 hours to see a doctor. Don’t waste your time going to this urgent care; there are way too many good urgent cares in Edmond that actually operate efficiently.
Walked in at 645, was asked some questions about what was wrong, they then told me they didnt have any walk-in spots available for the rest of the evening, there was one whole person waiting to be seen. They stay open till 8pm and obviously didnt want to work. I wouldnt recommend the drive here if you would like to be seen.... mercy go health is a much been option for getting seen.
Everyone was very friendly and took their time. Excellent visit sit.
I loved them! This was the BEST access medical I have ever gone too. They listen, they’re kind! Oh my I’ll be coming here for now on. The one in Edmond past 33rd next to the big lots!
I loved this place! Very warm and welcoming when I went. Got me in and out very quickly. Shout out to Stephanie for being the best nurse ever!!
My daughter visited the other evening with her 3 young children. She was also suffering from congestion and a cold. Her visit was terrible. The staff showed absolutely no compassion and made faces at her and her 3 little ones. They ended up with streptococcus and were not feeling well either. The checkout nurse was playing on her phone on fb while she was checking out. She left in tears.
In and out as a new patient with Tricare referral in 40 minutes. PA Alex & team were quick and helpful. Gave short term plan and follow up & even gave a discount copay card w/o having to ask. Will return if needing irgent care again .
This is such a caring and professional clinic, because of the staff. Kerry welcomed me at the reception desk with a smile and confirmed my information quickly. Creighton escorted me to the back and was friendly and professional. The PA, Laci, showed concern, asked lots of questions and answered mine. She was so personable and made me feel at ease, while explaining the diagnosis. I would recommend ACM as first class.Thank you.
I was taken back fairly quick, tech was pleasant , the front desk was very nice and helpful with what I needed to give to her. The provider was nice, and came across like she cared for sure.
Could not find out a consultation price on their site. Went to a provider that had clear pricing.
Best urgent care! I’m always in and out quick! Can schedule online for in person or virtual! People here are great!
Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The provider was decisive and efficient. I was pleased to be seen and received good care.
I went to this location for a COVID-19 test eight days ago. I have yet to get the result. I’ve called four times, and had to leave messages. No one ever returned my calls. Since I got answer or test result, I had to go to another clinic and pay $85 for a second test.
I have confidence in this clinic as much as I do with my primary care physician. I only use this urgent care because they know my medical history. They treated my concerns today and Im feeling so much better. Thanks again for the great care!!
We have used this location several times and I should know better when Dr. Stout is working. Tonight my son had cut the back of heel and knew he would need stitches. After arriving we were asked a couple times what time he cut his heel b/c if it had been 6 hours they couldn’t stitch it. Once getting back to the exam room it was if it was deep they wouldn’t be able to stitch it. Long story short, Dr. Stout came in said no that he could see the tendon and we needed to go to the ER. We were told that they would have to move the tendon around, a MRI or CT would be needed and possible surgery. (Our son was freaked out) Went to the ER, we told them what access had told us and took a look at it...........:And 3 stitches later we were on our way. I really think they just didn’t want to be bothered. (We did arrive 45mins before they closed) This isn’t my first unsatisfactory experience at this location but is defiantly my last.
This is the fastest urgent care I’ve found in Edmond. I’ve been in multiple times and it’s always been a good experience. All of the providers and office staff are knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I absolutely recommend to anyone.
Rude staff. Treated me as if I were drug seeking when coming in with a /Fibromyalgia flare/migraine. Would not even give me zofran for my nausea. I left crying. Awful care. My doctor was out because she had the flu and because of my Integris insurance I had to use this place. Later my doctor said she has heard nothing but awful reports from the care here. I will never return. Ive never been made to feel so insecure.
The girl answering the phone told us to come there for COVID testing. When we got there, the same girl told us we couldnt be tested, we couldnt speak to a nurse (on the phone), and she hung up on me. She refused to give her name, but Im sure someone there will know who was working at that time. There are much better places to get healthcare in the area. I dont recommend a place thats run like a Hot Topic.
I prefer going here over my family doctor. every time i’m here it’s judgement free and i’m treated with respect. thank you to all employees at this location!
Very professional and had me in out.
I feel like I got great, personal care and advice. Supportive and friendly staff. It was a very comfortable environment and I would go there again.
We have trusted Access Medical for years with our familys care at the Penn/164th location. I tried this location as it is closer to our new home. The waiting room was dirty and with dead crickets all over the floor. The desk attendant wasnt bluntly rude, just not friendly. The tv was blaring loud with kids cartoons and disruptive. I also was verbally and almost physically attacked by a woman in the waiting room for asking to have to tv volume lower, as it was hurting my already pounding headache. The RN that came to get her stopped any impending violence about to happen, as I ask her is this OKAY?? to be treated this way in the waiting room? This location and its clientele may put you in danger, beware. Unprofessional, Unacceptable, Will never return. Drove to Penn/164th and was taken care of properly with kindness and compassion.
Everyone was very helpful and nice and I really appreciated their help. I would recommend this medical center to all my friends and family Ty guys❤️
They closed all their branches early because of a dusting of snow. I mean, I totally understand closing if we would have gotten freezing drizzle/rain, maybe an inch of snow or more. But the roads arent bad. I know, because I drove all the way to this location only to find a dark building. I had no idea they decided to close all their offices because the weather got cold.
Fast. The staff here does an excellent job. The entire visit took maybe 30 minutes tops. Much better than the experience I had at an urgent care off of memorial.
We were taken care of quickly and professionally. The nurse and PA we’re kind and patient with my son who needed stitches. Thankful this place is in my neighborhood.
Was not told or made aware that they will only test asymptomatic patients for covid-19. Set appt with symptoms etc, when I arrived and called the lady asked more questions about my symptoms and then said they are only testing asymptomatic patients and unfortunately they couldnt see me. This would have been nice to know before driving to the location, it should really be pretty easy to put a disclaimer or something on web appointments that if you have covid symptoms you will not be seen.
Very friendly staff, and the service was quick yet thorough and they took care of me right away! Would come back again! Thank you guys for your work
I would highly recommend this Access Urgent Care to anyone. Everyone was very kind, helpful and professional.
Made an appointment for a physical and flu shot. The website says they accept my insurance however the office manager stated my appointment wasnt covered, and I needed to pay out of pocket blaming my insurance. When I called my insurance company I was told any appointment where lab, immunization, or diagnostic is performed would be covered so essentially they just refused to bill my insurance and my appointment unless I paid cash. I have utilized Access Medical Center in Grand Junction, CO for 2 years without issue. Not sure what is going on in Oklahoma, but this appears to be a thing.
Waited two hours for them to see our kids. Whenever I would ask to see how much longer it’d be, they were all just out there talking. It took 20 minutes for them to give us our prescriptions. Don’t waste your time go somewhere else.
I NEVER do this but I am so angry about what I just experienced I have to share. I only use these places when I am sick and my doctor is not open and to avoid a high er copay.I do not recommend this place or Dr. Stout. I would actually recommend you run the other direction. The doctor asked me what the problem was and I explained in detail. He looked in my ears, my throat and then THREW the used ear piece on the table, hitting my arm and landing on my jacket. His diagnosis after less than 30 seconds talking to me was “well there’s an infection somewhere, we’ll give you an antibiotic” then walked out. While I was waiting on my script and obviously not feeling well, all I could hear was the doctor cutting up about Instagram, laughing so loud with the nurse that I could hear every word. Well, they want social media reviews as it clearly states all over the building...they got one.I’d rather have gone to the er and paid, at least they would have been professional. Access Medical, don’t bother responding with your “canned” Facebook comment. I will not be calling you because there’s no chance you can “turn your experience around” as I’ve read several other comments from others receiving the same care from Dr. Stout.
The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and if it wasn’t for her, it would have been 5 stars. Other than that, the rest of the staff was very nice and it was a very quick visit which is great with two little ones.
Fast, courteous, knowledgeable, and less expensive than a trip to my primary care physician. And they didn’t push to do unnecessary tests. In and out in 30 minutes!
Always get me seen pretty quickly as a walk in and all the staff including the doctor are very nice!
I was supposed to get TB test per form request, which wasn’t done. Should I just stop in today? All staff were very nice and knowledgeable.
Had a great visit and walked out feeling that I was truly cared for!
This staff is so caring and gentle with the kiddos. I had a safe space to voice my concerns and they listened and my sick child responded very well. They are the best.
Although this facility does a good job in all respects, best to avoid the weekends, if possible. The weekend doctor is predictable in treatment and bedside manor. Was sent back to the Urgent Care after a week, by my MS doctor Gabriel Pardo. I had specifics to relay that my neurologist shared with me, which the weekend doctor refused to hear. I have also been prescribed a rescue inhaler at times in my life including by the ER, that this facility sent me to in the past, when struggling to get past a virus. I have always struggled with bronchial tube irritation due to viruses. I tried to share that, but the weekend doctor refused to listen. Instead, I was prescribed the typical script for prednisone, which my MS will only like for a short time as it will suppress my immune system. But once my immune system is no longer suppressed artificially, my immune system will rage back and attack. I would have much preferred to just have an inhaler to help me over this virus. But no, 250 mgs, is so much better, sarcasm intended. Dont expect to be listened to by the older beadered, gray haired weekend doc. He wont listen, not even listening to the instructions of well qualified MS specialist, who has been treating this such patient for 13 years.
If I could give fewer stars I would. I have gone here for years but things have changed, was given a steroid and told to get cough syrup at drug store. Now I have an ear infection and a sinus infection. Could have avoided being sick for 2 weeks and another Dr. appointment, not to mention time off of work if this doctor had treated me then.
I went in saturday because my 6 year old daughter wasnt feeling good and they just look at her said she had a cough and sent us on our way. Not even 12 hours later im at the e.r. with her and she test positive for flu. Worst place ever !!!! #acessmedicalsucks
All were friendly and professional. I will definitely return if necessary and recommend them to family and friends.
If youre in a hurry, dont go here. It always takes them around an hour to even get to me, then about 30 minutes to give me my prescription. They are always nice, but not speedy what so ever.
Wife went in for a simple test for a UTI. Took two+ weeks to get back a result saying nothing was wrong after they screwed up the tests twice. Then the lab charged $660 for what should have been a simple UTI test. Will never use this location or another Access Medical again.
They do sports physicals for school and was easy to schedule an appointment.I recommend 100%
Just dont do it. There are much better urgent care centers in Edmond. The PA today was horrible. Will not make the mistake of going back again.
The wait is unbearable! Not sure why it’s so slow, but do not use this facility if you are in need of timely care. I left after waiting 2 hours.
We got in quickly and the nurse and PA were very nice and helpful. Got our tests done quickly. Thanks
Great experience with them. They were super nice and helpful. Was able to make an appointment fast and didn’t have to wait long.
They were very nice. I was in and out really fast. Happy to have my problem solved and on my way fast.
Very effecient care. I have been here three times. Once for Strep throat and twice for Tb testing. All times I was treated efficiently. They are nice. I recommend this location.
Fast, friendly, convenient, professional. Best visit we have ever had at any walk—in clinic , thanks to the staff.
Friendly professional and attentive staff.Made me feel comfortable and were prompt with whatever questions or concerns I had.
Fast and convenient. The nurse and Kyle Johnson PA-C were great with her. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again if I had to.
They were very gentle and attentive to my babies, and I appreciate that! We we’re in and out in 20 mins with two kids.
It all went great the nurses and PAs were nice. When I got to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription it was closed. Im still feeling sick. Tomorrow is my birthday and I still feel bad. Not happy at all.
We go every year to get my daughters sports physical and they are always pleasant.
We walked in and the were quick and helpful. There was people waiting and we still got in and out within 40 min! Great service and very nice!
Their customer service was great theyre pretty fast. Was a great experience would recommend to everyone ☺️
Staff is very friendly. Always professional. Treat you as if you are the only patient. Provide quality time with the provider.
Excellent staff really made me feel good about taking the time to come here instead of the other options in Edmond. They are always as quick as they can be and so nice!
Everyone very proficient and professional. There is nothing worse than going to the doctor and they treat you like a 2 yr old, not here! They explain and treat you with intelligence. Always a good experience. Thank you all!!!
Lady put my son in a room and left him sitting almost a hour just for a damm TB test while she just sat at the front
Was very disappointed. Although the wait was short, I found the staff to be unpleasant. When just asking questions or getting checked for a cold, we received very unfriendly responses and not alot of patience.
Great care from folks who listen. I saw different teams both times Ive gone and each time everyone was thoughtful, compassionate, and thorough. Definitely recommend Access Medical.
The good, it was easy to get in by making appointments online and was fast service especially being a weekend. The bad, doctor did not make clear his diagnosis and did not explain treatment plan well.
Had an appointment. Waited for an hour. Was never seen
Poor pain management due to the opioid crisis. Didnt ask for them, but seriously, Tylenol does not even touch the pain of strep throat. I needed hydrocodone. Another sleepless night swallowing painfully. Hope the antibiotics kick in soon.
Went in for a sports physical. Price was much cheaper than going to my usual healthcare provider and the doctor was great!
I have a sinus infection and just didn’t want to wait until Monday Great place and people. So convenient…
Set my appointment online for 10:15. Checked in at 10:09 was seen by 10:11. Very fast and friendly service.
Fast easy if you make your appointment online which is simple to do enjoy the staff theyre courteous and friendly and get you in and out as soon as possible
I was amazed at how fast it was. They said they have loooong waits on weekdays but I went at noon on a Saturday. Dr listened and helped. Very satisfied.
It was very fast and quick service I loved how much Patients and caring they have don’t wanna go to the ER this the place ❤️💯💯
This facility is great! I always feel like my questions are valued and answered. The staff are always willing to answer my questions and listen to any concerns I might have.
My wait time was short after signing in online and then I was taken care of and on my way to the pharmacy! I’ve always received great care here!
This is my go to urgent care. I can check in online, the staff is great and always takes time to truly listen to me. I would highly recommend this location.
Their online appointment service will happily set you up for a test that the clinic cannot provide, thereby wasting your time and travel.
Very professional caring wonderful experience didn’t take very long set up an appointment got x-rays and a referral.
Staff was extremely helpful and sweet I was super comfortable ! 10/10 experience!
Kailynn does amazing work, I would highly recommend her for photography, video, graphic design and marketing work. My logo turned out amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Everything went smooth and the nurses helped me out tremendously! Best ear clean ever
