Saturday 9/28 pre booked our appointment for 9am. Walked in at 8:55 (the door was unlocked) there was an elderly receptionist who walked up and her words were, “umm uh oh, what are you doing here? We don’t open until 9”. She had me scan the QR code and check in as she said she couldn’t check me in until 9:00 on the dot. We thought it was very unprofessional for her to talk to us that way just for being five minutes early. Wasn’t very nice when asking for my ID either. I had a sick teenager and this is usually our clinic or choice but this experience as far as professionalism and the wait time was really dissapointing.
The receptionist is absolutely worthless. She claimed my insurance was termed but wouldnt verify it beyond whatever system she used. I tried multiple times to prove I was active, but she refused, stating I had to provide email or fax. She wouldnt even speak to the insurance herself. My family had gone there for around 10 years, and we used to recommend them to friends. Never again. All because she couldnt be bothered to help a patient verify ACTIVE insurance.
A truly unsatisfying experience. Was told my daughter could have only one ailment to discuss. Barely looked at her and said she had an eye infection without looking at it. I had to go to a doctor later that afternoon because your provider wouldn’t revisit her or fix the problem. She had a virus and a secondary infection in her ears. She did not have an eye infection. The provider should not be practicing. Don’t ask me to contact the liason as I left my name and number for the clinic manager to call me. A day later still no contact.
I have gone here for several different things before & haven’t had an issue till just this last time Dec 2023(I had already met my deductible as well) when they didn’t mention that they no longer took BCBS upon seeing me for the exam. I feel that it was very disappointing to not even have them take the charge off considering I had been there before. Never will be returning here again or have my friends/family.
Excellent service! The doctor Lillie was amazing! Very knowledgeable, kind and attentive! All other stuff was also very caring and professional. I recommend this Urgent Care for high level of performance!
I hate redoing the exact same paper work I did the previous day for the exact same vaccine. You would think you would have all that information in the system but other than that the staff is great especially the lady who gave me the TB shot like 100 times
I have come to this location several times tor my son and I. But after today that will not be happening again. I went in this morning with congestion that has been going on for over a week. The pa on staff today Sandra Cooper told me that congestion can take up to two weeks to clear and said she could call in benzonate a cough medicine to help with that but offered nothing to help with whats causing the cough or the fluid behind my ears. I told her I wanted a steroid shot and got a lecture about how bad steroids are for you and that she doesn’t let her family use them. She suggested allergy medicine, hot compresses (for my ears) and flonase and I told her I have already been using a decongestant and flonase for a week and it’s not getting better. She said she would call in a medrol dose pack if thats what I wanted to which I said yes. I shouldnt have to tell a pa what I need to get better I work full time and have a 6 year old and do not have the energy to feel this way for another week.
From the receptionist, to the nurse to the doctor the service was phenomenal!! They treated me so well . 10/10 would recommend.
Came in for a simple visit, was in and out. Everybody was extremely nice and the provider was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Wonderful clinic.
Fast access at the urgent care. The Physician Assistant was thorough in her assessment. The best part was that she called me the next day to follow up. Who does that anymore? I am impressed!
Made an appointment for 12pm. Showed up and checked in online at 11:50. Online it told me to be patient cause it is flu season and everyone is busy. After an hour I went inside to see no one waiting and the front desk told me they just didn’t see my check in come up on their computer.. Then she tried to charge me $75 upfront for my business. After being surprised at that amount she then lowered it to $35 and I agreed. The other time I used Access medical (the Yukon/Mustang location) while using the same insurance I used today the other location they only charged me $15. After paying, within 10 minutes I was called back to visit with the doctor was short and simple. Didn’t really figure anything out medically . As I explained what was going on and she asked me what I wanted to do. So I asked her what she recommended I do.. she didn’t seem concerned or have any suggestions of what to do so we didn’t do anything..but 2 stars cause she did give me a note for work and was very kind about the requirements my work has for those notes.
Always curious and kind. The PA was knowledgeable and made sure I understood my symptoms and the medication I would be receiving
The staff was excellent except the dr who accused my 36 hours straight of puking was linked in to my pregnancy . Gave me a script I could not fill anywhere around me.Still puking, no relief, dr did not care, nurses were nice. Dr genuinely did not care. Now I am sitting at home still puking, miserable. When the only advice I was given was to take a prenatal when I stop puking. Disregarding the fact I’m aborting it. And was genuinely needing help not being so sick
Be aware of the excessive new patient charge before you go there. Check it out my bill and on the top you will see the new patient charge which is $300. It is just for stepping in this urgent care. A friendly advice, find another medical center which doesn’t charge an unreasonable amount.
Very quick and got me taken care of!! Very nice Dr too and staff!
Very friendly intake person. Very friendly doctor. However, my daughter is still down 6 days later. Tried calling yesterday and never received any advice on what to do next. Called at 8:00 am this morning when they opened and have been on hold for 27 minutes so far waiting for someone to answer the phone. (And my bill was over $500 when we went in.) This is not the kind of service indicative of those kinds of charges. Very disappointed.
My son broke out in a rash after his chicken pox shot and I could not get him into a PCP appointment for the next month. I didn’t want him around a lot of people in case he was contagious so I tried to smaller clinic. I made different appointments at other urgent cares but this ended up being the soonest appointment and the service was amazing! Such a great atmosphere, great staff, awesome PA. It was easy to make an appointment and we were in and out in about 30min. I’m thankful to have found this place and will come back when needed!
Kind and attentive staff! Doctor was quick and thorough. I will continue using them for all urgent care needs.
Everyone extremely nice and very thorough will definitely be back if needed.
Took way too long to do simple paperwork. My ER visit was shorter than that.
The entire staff went above and beyond the call of duty to help us manage our new foster placement. Front desk helped us manage the unfamiliar online check-in process, the nurse was so kind, gentle and accommodating to our sick little one and the PA jumped through hoops to navigate SoonerCare on our behalf so we could get the best medicine for our sick little one as soon as possible. This saved us from an otherwise unnecessary long night in the ER and state resources! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I love the intake nurse. She so sweet and so personable. Wish I would had gotten her name. Doctor was very thorough. Front desk can stand to be more welcoming.
I had to evaluate a boating injury and they were very quick and convenient. Booked appointment online, added insurance and even completed my check in questionnaire from my phone. They were a little short staffed so wait was a little longer to get a quick set of X-rays, but still got in and out in about an hour.
The facility was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and professional.
I guess they’re trying to take me out of the world. Came in for ear pain/sinus infection. I have high blood pressure. They took my blood pressure, it was elevated quite a lot.PA prescribed FLONASE(increases blood pressure)…This is why I prefer MD doctors. And yes, I do still have ear pain every night.
Only knocking a star off due to the wait time, however the front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The work up nurse seemed thorough and also friendly. The provider was happy to answer any questions I had and was prompt with his return. I would return to this location again!
Friendliest staff around! Wonderful urgent care. Very quick and efficient in care and listens to concerns. Every staff member had exceptional bedside manner.
We took our son in for strep test. Great service and the team was efficient. Love the ability to book online. Highly recommend.
Quick polite and I felt attended to. I am grateful may God bless them
Very clean clinic! 👌 Ran on schedule. Multiple patients and you can see where you are online ... check in online... its fast and legit! Staff was friendly & knowledgeable. Definitely feel better after taking my little here!
Very quick and easy service. After check-in, which was done on my phone making it super convenient, I was seen almost immediately. The staff was SUPER friendly and they all have a warm and gentle bedside manner! They put me at ease immediately, which is not something I’m used to with a doctors office. Everything was done super quickly and there were no egregious wait times on test results and eventually prescriptions. They also accept O-epic health insurance with the tiniest copay I have ever paid in my life (>$10). I would definitely recommend access medical to any of my friends and family!
I’ve been in so much pain today, and it has been such an emotional rollercoaster. These ladies here at this urgent care were so kind and therapeutic. I got quick treatment and they didn’t have to but they also talked to me and made me feel better that way too. Highly, recommend! Very professional and kind!
I love access medical! The staff and provider were, always, awesome! On-line check-in was a breeze! I was greeted by Ashlee, at the front desk, as soon as I walked in, who was so so so kind, made sure I didn’t need any help, and verified all my info super quick! Then Morgan, the nurse, got us back to a room immediately and was so sweet and patient with my grandson during his vitals! Alex, the provider was very professional and knowledgeable! He took his time with my grandson to make sure that my grandson was not uncomfortable or scared during his exam,. Then, at the end of the visit, Alex made sure to explain everything from the diagnosis, to the medications prescribed, to how we can care for the issue and hopefully prevent reoccurrence. This was a wonderful experience and definitely a 5 Star Visit from all the staff involved in my grandson’s care!
NP was very knowledgeable and highly intelligent. Nice, efficient staff. Great job 😀
Never thought Id say this but I enjoyed going to the doctor. From the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor, they made it very easy and were very friendly and helpful. When youre feeling bad it sure does help and I appreciate them very much!
The staff was great! I’ve taken my children here in the past over 8 years ago. My husband brought our daughter here back in February 2022. He told me the service was great. I made an online appointment for my daughter today. Everything went well until Dr. Stout walked into the room and told my daughter to sit in the chair I was sitting in. I stood up and moved to the side. He engaged with my daughter only and didn’t introduce himself to me at all nor did he acknowledge me. When the visit was over, he was about to walk out of the room. I asked him why didn’t he speak to me and I am her mother? As I was speaking, he abruptly said, “hi, my name is Dr. Stout” twice. I told him I’ve never experienced this type of treatment here and should acknowledge me as a parent with respect. I will never bring my children back because of him. Not sure if he has something going on in his personal life that’s affected his work ethic. This was my personal experience and he may not treat everyone the same.
I booked my appointment online. Only had to wait about 15 minutes to get back and into a room. The Staff were very friendly and caring. Very professional and the PAC, was so nice and knowledgeable and very pleasant. great customer service is very important!! I would recommend this place to anyone that needs to be seen fast. However, with so many illnesses these days they will let you know how many people are ahead of you and how long the wait can be. My appointment was at 4p and even me being 7 minutes late due to work and traffic, I was still back in a room by 430 once I went through triage. The place was clean, everyone had on mask, just a very friendly atmosphere, which is what you need when you dont feel well. Thanks a bunch access medical
They were great and got me in really quick!
I love this place. They always take you serious. I never feel like Im going to go in there with pneumonia and be told I have the sniffles or have a cold a be given a cabinet full of medicine. They always seem to address your actual issues. The staff is always friendly. It isnt exactly cheap, especially if its out-of-pocket...but what medical facility is. Highly recommend.
Great experience. Treated with concern and smiles. All personal were helpful.
I brought my toddler in close to the closing time but the receptionist quickly assisted us fill out the paperwork and see the doctor. Both nurse and doctor took their time to do what need to be done and I’m very pleased with their service. I will come back again if in needed.
Chill, laid back but still thorough. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
I was seen as a walk-in within 2 hours of arrival. The virtual waitlist was helpful too. After I was called in the appointment and results were fast. Alex was the PA on duty and he was very professional. My only complaint was the unprofessional receptionist. She had me standing at the window listening to her and the other receptionist talk about their work schedules and when they should work at the Rockwell location together. I finally interrupted and asked for my insurance card back so I could sit down. I would’ve preferred for her to finish helping me then they could’ve finished their conversation. I didn’t need to hear about their schedule and how they prefer one location over the other.
The staff was friendly and very helpful. They addressed my problem and in my opinion did their best to help resolve my health issues. Given the opportunity, I will certainly recommend this location to my family and friends.
It was my first time here and the staff was very helpful and kind. They listened to all my needs and concerns and answered questions. It was a quick and easy!
Access Urgent Care was TERRIFIC!Very polite, efficient, and they took great care of me.
Upon arriving, front office was very clean. The front desk staff was very unprofessional. I was not greeted when I got to the front desk (no big deal), waited patiently until I was acknowledged. I was then asked what I was needing to be seen for, while explaining, the receptionist answers the business phone. After she hung up the phone, I was then asked again what I was needing to be seen for (I guess she wasn’t listening to me the first time). The first person you encounter when going into a business sets the standards for the business... I considered leaving and taking my business elsewhere. I decided to proceed with my appointment and had a great experience with the medical assistant and P.A. The wait time was longer than I anticipated, but it’s to be expected with current circumstances.
The staff at this clinic are beyond amazing! The front desk clerk was kind and professional! The nurse was so kind and caring! Augustine the PA was so much fun and put my toddler at ease during her exam!
Everyone was helpful and kind. The type of kind you need when youre sick.
The charges were excessive, the receptionist and the MAs were wonderful but the blond doctor would interrupt me, spent all of three minutes with me, was rude, dismissive, and it wasnt until i outright said i would go to another clinic did she suddenly act like i was a human being. i was already in terrible pain and once i was away from sight i almost cried from just how little care was shown while in my moment of pain. it wasnt like she had to rush, i was the only patient at the time! its sad when a doctor treats their patients this way.
The staff here are very kind and helpful. Their website is wonderful to save time by booking an appointment or filling out paperwork before you arrive.
Great customer service!! Very clean, the physician who examined my son was very patient and answered every question we had!! Keep doing what you’re doing!!
Everything went well. The PA was supper nice and professional. Acted accordingly for the patient. It was my 7 year old son being seen. The PA was so patient and kind with him. Over all great experience.
Brought my 1 year old son in because he wasnt feeling all too great. Facility is super easy to find and very clean. I didnt have to wait to long, maybe 10-15 minutes. Once we were called back the nurse was great and listened to all my concerns and he let me know what the doctor might do, test wise. Again I waited maybe 5 minutes for the doctor to come in and she was super nice and I felt like I was listened to about my sons condition. She was thorough about checking him over and found out it is just an ear infection. She explained where its at right now and the steps we would go from there for treatment. Great Facility and great staff. Hopefully I wont have to visit them again but if I do I know to expect!
Everyone in the office was efficient, friendly and professional. Their system allows booking an immediate or delayed appointment online from home and then driving over at the appropriate time. You can even fill out the preliminary paperwork online and then you are in and out, just as it should be (but it’s getting harder and harder to find things that work like they should these days).
Doctor was rude, stern and NO WHERE near informative. told me he was going to “educate” me and literally just told me I didn’t have strep and said we were good to go. Didn’t tell us where he was sending the prescription or anything. Most unprofessional place I’ve ever been and will not be returning. Don’t recommend to anyone seeking help. Edit: the lady up front was super nice and gave us the rest of the information we needed!
I took my mom a few times here and we have had very good results. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciated being taken care of from concerned staff and directed us on what we needed..
I was seen by PA Taler Henry. Long story short: she was very snappy with me from the moment she walked in the room, I just brushed this off because everyone has bad days. Well she prescribed me a medication that did not work last time I had pneumonia. I kindly explained this and asked for a different (specific) medication that works very well for treating pneumonia according to my mother who is a nurse. Immediately she said “that is an inaccurate statement” and if you want that antibiotic you’ll have to go to a different facility. so I looked at her like 🤨 because it IS an accurate statement and that was pretty rude. She told me I could just go somewhere else since I wasn’t going to be happy with anything. Very unprofessional. 11/10 do not recommend
Everyone there was so nice and professional. I appreciate how detailed they were with how the process was going to be to prepare myself for the pain that would occur with Stitch removal. From the greeting at check in the nurse and doctor all the way to the end with saying have a good day it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend them to everyone for urgent care.
Its difficult sometimes to make an appointment with my sons primary doctor and this place is right down the street from my house. Its convenient and you get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Be sure to set up an appointment online where you can get all of the annoying paperwork done ahead of time.Update: October 22nd, 2023I booked an appointment online today. Again, I cant stress enough getting your paperwork filled out ahead of time to cut down on the administrative tasks. Total visit time was about 45 minutes including COVID and flu tests. The staff was friendly and professional and provided treatment guidelines and documentation for work purposes.
Very quick and efficient. Knowledgeable doctors. Definitely recommend!
Doc was super helpful and took great care of me. Got in and out quick.
My visit today was a very nice experience. The nurse is so very knowledgeable & thorough. She is very compassionate with excellent nursing skills. The doctor I saw was also very knowledgeable with very good advice & treatment. They were both very personableIf you need urgent care, I highly recommend this facility. Waiting time was not an issue either.
Even though on the schedule there were many people with appts and a number of walkins in front of me, I was finished in an hour. The PA was very knowledgeable and kind. She made me feel comfortable and confident in her ability to treat me. She listened to me and was very helpful.
The process from start to finish was smooth and easy! I was seen in a timely manner and my discharge paperwork was completed quickly. The front desk receptionist was nice and proficient, the tech was friendly, caring, and made me feel like he was genuinely happy with what he is doing, and the PA was thorough, listened to my concerns (I had bronchitis), and was knowledgable and confident with the treatment plan. Very happy with the care I received and will return again! Keep up the great work!
Staff always thorough and kind. Have always been seen quickly and visit always thorough and treatment accurate and effective. Would definitely recommend Access on N Penn in Edmond!
Although the wait was long, the whole staff was amazing in communicating the process from beginning to end! I could not have had a better experience (especially feeling under the weather and getting a COVID test). Definitely worth the wait! Remember we are all in this together and a little patience and love go a long way! Thank you Access medical center (Penn location) team!
Very thorough and knowledgeable. Staff is personable and kind. If you can make an appointment, youre in and out much faster. Ill continue to come here when I need urgent care!
Ashley, the receptionist, was very nice and helpful. She worked with me on prices since I don’t have insurance. The doctor, Brooklyn Johnson, was very helpful and nice as well. They saved me lots of money and time. I recommend this Access Medical center to everyone!
I’m sad not with Access Medical, but with the world that urgent cares across town are now booked up days in advance with appointments. My service at Access Medical was sweet, efficient, and helpful. My nurse and PA both treated me like my thoughts and life mattered. Most other places, I feel like the staff just want to rush me out. Thank you all for making me feel cared for. ☺️
I really liked the text update feature that tells you where you are in line. Also, the front desk person did get asked the same question over and over and got gripped at and handled it pretty well but it’s probably a sign they need to change the form if every patient missed the same section. The PA was good although I’d much rather her have looked in my son’s non draining ear FIRST and then the other instead of using the same dirty tip in the clean /better ear. Over all, I’m very glad to have this place as an option for after hour appointments.
Friendly and helpful staff the office is a little dated but overall a good experience. I would go bad again for treatment. UPDATE I was having a heart attack for three days properly diagnosed by Mercy Go Health Urgent Care. I will never go to an Integris urgent Care again. I hope you heed my warning ⚠️
Did not wait long. The Dr was really great. Got me fixed up quickly. Will definitely go back if I need to.
Thank you for treating me like a human today. I came to this location to UA and it was such a refreshing experience. I cannot thank these ladies enough for treating me kindly and respectfully. I would absolutely recommend this location and will definitely be back. Thank you again.
I was in the exam room, doctor came in and I explained my symptoms 30 seconds later he was sending me out the door with a antibiotic script. I stopped and asked how long the pharmacy would take and he said “if you would stop talking I could call it in” ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AND DISRESPECTFUL. Especially because the bill was $300 for a rude doctor who spent 30 seconds of his time on me. I left and went to the pharmacy I said to sent it to and they sent it to a pharmacy 20 minutes away. What a terrible experience all around. I will not be back.
Absolutely love how the staff are professional yet friendly and get to the root of your problems so you can get on with living. I trust them explicitly and highly recommend them and the environment is clean and pleasant and beautifully decorated so you feel more relaxed and at home here. Its the only urgent care i go to. Thanks to you all who do such an excellent job. Love love love Access Med
Came to have my husband seen was told he was checked in online and be seen by 3 pm then we were told it would be 10 minutes…. 35 minutes later the nurse finally shows up from her break and after going to the back the care physician was sitting on his phone. After been seem the Dr didn’t seem to care that my husband was in pain and all he could do was tell us to go see our primary care. If we could see our primary care physician to get a referral why wouldn’t we. Needless to say not much help from anyone there hit the receptionist.
I had Dr. Stout. He had no bedside manners. He let me know one of my problems and got mad that I was telling him everything going on. The only reason that I did that was just in case it all might be connected. He did one test and nothing else. No flu/covid which I feel very flu like, and just over all didnt seem to care. Honestly, he was a jackass.
They could fit me in when no one else has appointments left! Im satisfied with the assessment they gave me, I felt listened to and the employees were friendly and professional. Warning, they are low on staff so dont expect to fly in and out, be kind, medical workers deserve all our patience.
Your sign up with your paperless Solv is way too long, we had been to this same Access Med a number of times, so they could have seen 45 minutes sooner except the front desk person kept telling us to use our phone to set up our appointment s. Anyway 45 minutes later we got our tests done by a very nice tech or nurse. It was the doctor or PA we have a problem with, she wouldnt let the tester give us our results which were negative, so another 45 minutes were wasted. We were there 2 hours which was very unnecessary!
Really liked being able to schedule my appointment online. Everyone was friendly, detailed and very professional. I felt better than when I walked in just because of this and their upbeat attitude.
The doctors and nurses are very welcoming and accommodating. The front desk staff will need to work on customer service (emotional intelligence) skills. Very short on patience and verbal communication. This hasn’t been a problem in the past but hopefully it will be corrected.
This is way mote convenient than trying to get into my dr. Ive always been impressed with them. It is fast, little to no wait, very nice staff n doctor! 😃 😊
Generally the care I receive here is adequate. The nurse has been the same for years and has been more caring at times than the Dr, PA or what have you. However, the wait can be very long, they offer the option to check in online, but the person at the desk has informed me that they only honor first come first serve. Don’t bother checking in online, and if you’re trying to avoid time in a waiting room with other sick people, maybe venture elsewhere.
Access staff has made me feel at home even if it was my first visit. All staff met my expectation of the highest standard of professionalism. Thank you,Team Access!!!
Made the appointment online at 4:15 for 4:30. No wait, good Covid protocols in place. The PA on duty was excellent with my son - thorough and recommend follow up with our doc. I’ve always had good experiences with this clinic and highly recommend it!
Horrible! Made appointment overnight for 9 am the following day when they opened. Approximately 920 am did they decide to open their door. I was the only patient. Gentleman at the front desk was very nice. Waited approximately 15 minutes to get called back for vitals. Flu test, strep test done. Dr Stout came in later, told me both were negative and that I had a bad cold with 102.8 fever and MULTIPLE symptoms. He didnt listen to my lungs, look at my throat. Did absolutely NOTHING other than call in a steroid. I got home, tested myself, positive for the C. Treated myself at home, sick as a dog for 2 weeks. What a joke when a physician does absolutely nothing other than rx some prednisone. BTW, Im a nurse. So terribly disappointing. Will NOT go back and will never recommend this facility.
Fast and efficient. Staff and doctors are always extremely nice and knowledgeable. I appreciate how wonderful they are with my little girls too.
This medical clinic is awful! They front reception staff isn’t friendly at all!!! The PA or Dr. seeing you are usually good. APPOINTMENTS MEAN NOTHING!!!! Don’t waste your time. Find another place. This is my second time here and it was the same both times. I wont be back!
Had an almost identical experience as someone else commented.I called before noon today Wednesday January 6 2020 and was asked for insurance info and asked to arrive at 3:30pm. When arriving there werent many cars parked. I parked and called. First receptionist answered and said they were out of rapid response tests for the day. She confirmed what Id been told that delayed response test more accurate so i chose to go ahead with the delayed. She asked me to wait in my vehicle until she was done with patient on hand and shed call me in for check in. I waited and watched one person leave to parking then another. Another car pulled in and a nurse approached theyre window. Driver left then another vehicle parked and they went in. After another vehicle parked and went in i called to see if i had been forgotten about.Receptionist named Julia answered. I let her know of my last conversation just 10 minutes prior. She sternly said testing was thru for the day. I let her know my insurance had already been taken and i arrived as earlier instructed and then after waiting like asked. It was obvious from her tone I wouldnt be seen and I should just leave without any explanation or apology for me showing up and then lied to. I will be contacting my insurance to confirm no insurance was used towards an unseen visit and Ill certainly never use another access clinic while letting everyone know of these experiences.I wonder if this negative experience wil get any response from whatever entities thank the positive reviews?
The nurse and the doctor Stacey were wonderful. Very patient and took time to my 3yo feel safe. But the front desk clerk was rude and inattentive even though I was the only one there. He would yell at me from the desk while I was across the waiting room. He made me feel stupid when I told him I couldn’t hear him.
The doctor told me “I’ll be right back” left me in the room to go see another patient and EAT HER LUNCH. Completely forgot about me. All they do is tell you to go to a primary care doctor or hospital for treatment. Don’t go here.
I went for hearing loss secondary to ear infection. The staff is very professional. The PA or NP was outstanding. She was very informative. I let her know I had used Cortisporin prior and it wasn’t very effective. She changed it to Ciprodex. Besides the paperwork, the visit was quick. Unlike Mercy Care in Edmond off of Bryant. Highly recommended
Very thorough and friendly. Calming patient experience for myself and kids. I would recommend for minor urgent medical concerns. They seem to have a solid, caring team on board, and it’s been convenient for our family to go here when we can’t get an appointment with PCP and emergency room visit is unnecessary.
Possibly the best customer service I’ve ever received. I felt heard and all my concerns were addressed. Very accommodating and professional. Highly recommend the office on N Penn in Edmond.
We have been going to Access Medical for years and have always found the staff helpful, kind and courteous. They listen and do a great job of explaining the diagnosis and next steps. They are also extremely efficient as we are usually in and out in no time. I highly recommend them.
They have taken care of our injuries and other urgent care needs. The staff is very professional and the system is smooth. Everything seems streamlined clean and customer oriented. They really do care. Highly recommend
Staff was friendly and courteous. I saw the doctor quickly and had my results in just a few minutes. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
All of the staff was very knowledgeable and kind. I was seen by the nurse and by PA Brookelyn Johnson very quickly. Both had great bedside manners. I would come to this location again.
Was virtually only place in Edmond, OKC area with same day appt. Set up appointment online. A bit of a wait once checked in, but nurses/PA were great. Relatively efficient process. Everyone was very nice and helpful.
Ive been going here for years because its close to home. The nurses and doctors are always nice but it seems like I always have to go back because the prescription they give me doesnt work so they have to give me a different prescription. When the guy is working at the desk hes rude and doesnt pay attention to what your saying. When the girl is there shes very nice. Really bad on calling on results of cultures.
I have utilized Access Medical Center for years and have always received excellent care. This location treated me very poorly and cancelled my appointment. The front office person Chris treated me as if I were subhuman. This gentleman claimed that my insurance required a 25% co-payment which is entirely false, because I have never been been required to pay one in the past. He stated there was not a supervisor available and then cancelled my appointment. While awaiting a response from corporate the district manager of Edmond called to speak with me. She began to tell me how everything I felt was untrue, disregarded her employees behavior, and stated that I could no longer receive services at any Access Medical Center. I was never allowed entrance to the building. I requested that she put that in writing and she yelled that she would and hung up. I intend on reporting this to my insurance company and seeking legal counsel regarding this matter. Noone should ever be treated as I was when seeking urgent medical care.
Thorough and speedy. Immediately recommended and sent to a specialist. Appreciate their bedside manner.
I was seen in a timely manner and treated well. My prescriptions were sent immediately and I was able to pick them up as soon as I left the office. The staff was kind and made me feel cared for! I’ll definitely be returning!
PA Alex S was very patient and generous with his knowledge. I’ve been going to Access Medical for the convenience. My past experiences have been average but this time I really felt listened to and he offered great solutions. He didn’t mind my questioning his recommendations and made me feel comfortable. Happy to see him at this location.
I came in here the other day because I needed a sports physical for my son and tryouts were in 15 mins! I was so concerned we wouldnt make it in time but the staff was so quick that once we got to tryouts, my son still had time to warm up! Everything about this process was so easy and enjoyable, I didnt wait long before being seen, the staff was delightfully friendly and the visit was easy on my wallet too (only $25 for a physical). I will definitely come again!
They claim that their appointment scheduling app causes the appointments to be slowed down why would we schedule an appointment when you wont see me at the right time. I feel like my lungs are exploding and you make me wait in my car for a long time after my appointment time. You people dont care about the well being of any of us.
The staff was very nice but the doctor just made us feel stupid and didn’t give us any information on what was wrong with me. I had to literally ask him what it was and he didn’t even tell me that I just had to go pick up my medication, he just assumed I knew what to do. Very confusing do not come here!!!
DONT PAY CASH EVER!!!!!!I booked an appointment back in January paid cash (and it was never put in the books.) I never seen a bill mailed to my house or anything. I got a collects notice in April saying I owed. I drove out to Access to see what the collection notice was about. ( I never been able to be seen without a payment at any urgent care. Plus When booking the appointment the lady on the phone made it very clear they needed payment before I could be seen.) Got to the office the lady behind the desk took my information so a manger could call me about the collections notice, ( NEVER heard from them.) I called the number on the collections, talked to 10 different people telling them I paid and this lady on the paper is who stole my $190 like but everybody was acting clueless. They ask did I get a handwritten receipt like I was suppose to know I was suppose to get one. The lady who took my cash knew what she doing when she didnt give it to me. Disappointed in the way I was talked to, stole from, and treated.
One of our family members who has developmental disabilities and severe sensory challenges was treated with both kindness and gentleness, while the staff and providers were simultaneously efficient and on task. This group is professional and preferred, time and time again.
We brought our daughter here today for an illness while traveling. The staff was very friendly and professional. Clean, comfortable facility. We were in and out quickly. Couldnt ask for anything more from an urgent care.
Super fast so that was nice but I’d like a little more care during the service. The dr gave me a diagnosis as soon as he walked in the door. He did end up looking in my ears, mouth ect. When I requested a specific medicine I’ve used for cold sores in the past he said I’ve never heard of that…and that was that and he was done. He didn’t look it up or anything.
Very caring staff, even when short staffed from staff call outs. Thorough. Personable. I wish I didn’t need them, but so glad they are there when I do need them! I trust them with both my urgent sicknesses and those of my 7 year old daughter. They have always delivered excellent care!
They always very nice, professional and timely! The building is always clean and well kept ✨✨✨
Thank you Access Medical Clinic Urgent Care for easy appointment scheduling. I was seen by a provider with very little wait time and my questions were resolved quickly.
The staff is quick, thorough and caring. I had a massive migraine and they kept the lights off as much as possible and did their very best to make me comfortable and provide treatment. It’s easy to check in and no waiting!
Amazing experienceKnowledgeable and thoroughVery very very kind & empathetic with children
I took my daughter in 30 min before close. Normally I wouldnt do that but shes 6 and complaining of painful urination and I didnt want her to wait until morning if she didnt need to suffer longer. The guy at check in (mid 20s) told me her insurance wasnt valid. I called her dad who gave me the same policy # and Group # as the ones shown on the card and the kid said it still wasnt valid. Now here we are first thing the next morning at a different clinic and had no problems. My first thought was perhaps he didnt enter the information correctly but upon further thought and his rude behavior (he was watching videos on his phone w this headphones in WHILE I was trying to talk to him) I think he simply didnt WANT us there bc he would have to stay longer.
I felt horrible. I was not taken seriously. Dr. Stout misdiagnosed me and this is not the first time that he has done this in my family. He told me I didn’t have strep throat, and he wouldn’t even test for it. He pushed it off like it was nothing. I had strep and I still trying to get over it. He was also insanely rude during my visit and made a snide comment about my nose piercings. If I could give this place and this doctor negative stars I definitely would.
Everyone was friendly and kind. I got in quickly and Jen listened to my concerns and trusted me when I said I needed antibiotics. It was an easy and painless visit.
Amber at the front desk called me to follow up on a question I had about my visit and was SO helpful and knowledgeable. Shes an asset to you guys and youll be lucky to keep her there.
They state they take most insurance, and Ive never had any of my claims anywhere come back out of network until visiting here. Surprise, 4 months later I get to pay it all.Tried to contact their 1-800 #, after 20 minutes on the phone they still couldnt tell me if they accepted my insurance, then transferred me to a black hole that rings forever with nobody picking up. Called back in and went to billing, again ringing forever and nobody picking up (and nobody telling me its closed.)Looks like their corporate doesnt know how to do business either. Never going back here, and dont go here if you have UnitedHealth Care!
Staff, doctors, nurses are all great. Ive always found them to be caring, knowledgeable, and basically nice folks.
Made an appointment and they had me back shortly after arriving. Nurses and Doctors were very polite, helpful, and informative. I enjoyed my visit and will be coming back!
I love this place, always fast and convenient. The staff is friendly and professional. Sometimes you just wake up sick and cant get into your regular doctor. ACCESS is right around the corner from my home and has always provided me and family with awesome medical care.
The care here was good, the PA was knowledgeable and the staff were kind. Although my total visit was a staggering 3 hours with only a handful of patients present, after the wait I was happy with the service.
The staff was so friendly and nice. LOVED THAT!! Had my little 3.5 month old and they were very patient with his squirms. This will be our go-to for urgent care!
This review is for the location at N Penn near 164th. I have been twice in the last two months on unrelated illnesses. Both times I went because I wasnt able to be seen by my primary care doc right away, and both times they exceeded my expectations. I will continue to be a regular customer and have already referred several co-workers and friends. I had the option to check in online which was very cool, however each time Ive visited there was nobody else there. They have a TV in the waiting area that keeps you apprised of where you are in line so Im not sure about one of the other reviews on here that says they had no idea where in line they were when they visited. Anyhow, keep up the good work and thank you!
Very pleasant staff, they even helped me with the paperwork. The NP was very tentative at my concern and also helped me with a. BP medication. The instructions were very specific and easy to understand.I was happy with the care provided.
Nurse that was talking to me and doing my vitals was so rude and disrespectful I walked out. You should not call patents stupid or keep telling them how wrong they are and not offer an apology when you realize you were wrong. I mispronounced my personal Dr name. Who was Asian and I must have offended him as he was Asian also and he treated me horrible and no one would give his name to me
Im sitting in the office as we speak and I have never been so disgusted with the people here. I have came here countless times ever since it has opened and I have never been treated so poorly. The nurse was extremely rude and rushed and honestly didnt really care. She would ask me questions but would interrupt me for the next question even though I was still giving information about the last one. I would rather be sick all weekend and wait for my doctor to open Monday than deal with the poor service here. I will make sure higher employment knows and I will get the names. Its uncalled for and unprofessional.
Website was easy use and I was able to book a Rapid Covid Test for my child with in 24hrs. Appt was at 9:30. Was seen by provider by 945 was out of the building with my negative test by 10 o’clock. A+ Amazing Job!!!
I had an appointment. I waited 45 minutes to be seen. Thats the longest wait that I have had in about 20 years. It doesnt seem like having an appointment helped.
They have the rudest staff, I Waited for 2 hours with my husband, the P.A., Jayci has no bedside manner, she has no calling for being a healthcare provider, just an over paid paper pusher, treated us like cattle. She did not bother to do a thorough examination, explain or listen to my husband. Just a big waste of time and money! Do yourself a favor and go to a real clinic, not these quacks!
What a pleasant visit the Doctor instantly put my mind at ease he took the time to explain the issue and causes and did it with such poise and class. I would definitely recommend Access. Top shelf treatment. 🤌
The wait was a little longer, but the nurses and provider were great. Very professional and kind. I got my COVID test done and read in 10 minutes.
All of the staff here were wonderful, particularly Laci Duguay, PAC. She took the time and listened, was compassionate and proactive. I loved that she told me what to do if my symptoms worsened, and assured me that she would be working the next 2 days, so I could call her with any questions or concerns.
I use to work here and the speed in which they get paitents in and out is terrible now. What use to take me an hour to do takes them 3. I have been waiting 2 1/2 hours with only 5 people in front of me. This is unexceptible. Its urgent care for a reason. To get people on and out quick and efficiently. I will not be coming back.
Not sure why this PA even got into the medical field. She had the worst bedside manners. Wasn’t able to answer medical questions and had a very bad attitude. I work at a hospital myself and we are super big on care and compassion. This PA had neither. She should have went into another field. The worse part is they will bill my insurance for a 5 min visit that we got nothing out of. Now I will have to take my daughter somewhere else to get checked out. I have never asked a PA a question and they shrug there shoulders and say I don’t know. I will never go here again. I would rather wait and get in with our regular PCP.
The young person at the front desk was not knowledgeable at all and was not helpful when entering our insurance information. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere. She was also unable to help the people in front of us because she could not look up their insurance information in the system and turned away another customer.
The wait is ridiculous! Came in early in the morning. You cannot set an appointment once they have closed for the day. I have been waiting over 2 hours. No one has updated me on how much longer. I could have gone to my regular MD much more quickly. This is my second and last visit to Access Medical. Calling my regular MD now to see if they can get me in today.
I got great service when coming here. The staff helped me greatly and quickly! I got in and got my diagnosis. The doctors were very friendly and I could tell really wanted to help. Would highly recommend for quick visit in need of medical attention!
This is my go-to place when I dont feel good. I work 8-5 (which must of the time means I am unavailable 7-6:30) Monday-Friday.... How am I supposed to go to the doctor if they only work 8-4? Well, that is why I like this place. Their hours are convenient, the facilities are clean, they have online check-in (does not work great, but it is a medical facility, not a bakery), and they take my insurance. The front person on my last visit, jennifer, was very helpful with my insurance questions and FSA questions. The nurse, Ronda, was the sweetest thing; great technique for ventrogluteal injections, and she was very nice and talkative. The PA Lonnie, was also very helpful and respectful and caring. They dont get 5 stars because every time I go I see different people, and I would like to be able to establish a relationship.... But this is an urgent care facility after all. I dont know why others have had anything bad to say about this place. I like it! Thank you guys for helping me feel better and for working after hours for those of us who cannot make it there during normal business hours!
I would recommend and come back if I was in the area and needed to be seen. But I had an appointment and had to wait over 30 minutes to get back to see the PA. They have some air freshener that is so strong it’s nauseating. It’s a blessing it doesn’t smell awful in there, but when it’s overwhelming… it’s not fun! It’s STRONG!
A few days ago I booked an appointment as did my husband for a covid vaccine. Today I waited in the parking lot after checking in from the text they sent. Waited awhile when there was no one in line in front me. I finally called just to find out they dont do covid vaccines on any other day but Wednesday during specefic hours. I dont understand why we are specifically allowed to book the one dose vaccine if I we cant get them. The lady that answered the phone was nice so a star for her. People are taking off work to do this and missing out on money and still no vaccine.
My son has autism the physician was wonder with my son. I would highly recommend.Mom
I went after lunch on a Tuesday - didnt have serious symptoms but wanted to get checked out before it got worse and since it was 5 days before Christmas. The wait was short, paperwork minimal so I was in and out pretty quick. All the staff were very nice as well.
Everyone I interacted with was kind, optimistic, and went out of his/her way to try to improve the situation. Every time I have gone to this location it has been a positive experience despite the circumstance of being sick. Keep up the good work.
Did not wait long to see provider. Front desk staff was pleasant as well as nurse. Dr. Stout provided educational information to prevent reoccurrence and listened to my concerns.
The Nurse and FNP were an excellent team. I was quickly seen, diagnosed, and prescribed meds for my condition.
Very rude customer service. I asked if they take apppintments and the call center told me to come at 12:30. I said, oh great, so I have an appointment at 12:30? She said, no thats just the time the computer generated for you. I told her I didnt understand how thats not an appointment. She said I should go at 12:30 but that Id still have to wait and then she hung up on me. I didnt bother going in after that.
Jen, the PA, probably saved me a visit to the ER and a case of pneumonia. Service was quick and efficient, and I feel the medical care was excellent! I highly recommend the location in the 16200 block of N Pennsylvania in OKC/Edmond!
In and out and very thorough. Liked the doctor and I would definitely go there again!
Place was nice, clean n cool. Reception was not very nice. He seemed like he didnt want to be there, just didnt seem to care. The nurse n PAC were okay, polite and quick.
My son took me in for severe back spasms the entire staff except for the PA were rude. I spent 180.00 and was in severe pain and the staff was short, inconsiderate, talking rudely about other patients outside the door and playing rock music where people are sick and are in pain. If they are so unhappy in their job a nursing profession probably wasnt the proper career choice I was a nurse at OU medical center for 10 years and never encountered such unprofessional and unsympathetic nurses and office staff in my life.
Access Medical Center did a very poor job overall with my visit to them. I took my daughter in to be seen. They ran us through like cattle. Did not have answers and likely gave us the wrong diagnosis. I have been here before, they used to have Doctors available. The last few times there has been only a PA. The same PA the last couple times. They wasted my time and money. This last time they wrote a prescription and no one in town had it available. The next morning when I called to see about getting it changed they really gave me the run around. THEY FORGET THEY ARE WORKING FOR ME. THE PATIENT IS THE CUSTOMER! They have no interest in making me happy as a customer.DONT GO HERE!
Profit seems to be the main motive at this clinic. It is like a bad McDonalds of the medical world. I have been to this clinic three times. The first time, my kid had a fever and felt horrible. They did a flu test and a strep test at the same time; both cost $60. There was no good reason to do them simultaneously, and it just cost me more money. But it was close to my house, so I went back. The second time, they started a medical procedure, but they werent able to finish it because they didnt know what they were doing. So I had to pay for it TWICE when I took my kid to the pediatrician the next day. This time, I brought my child in again (last time... I promise). I thought it might be better and it is very close and convenient. The PA did a flu test (wonder how many of those they do) after spending about two minutes looking at him. After about 15 minutes, the assistant (dont think she was a nurse) came back in, told me the flu test was negative, and gave me a prescription. I dont like to give my kids antibiotics and asked if we really needed to give them to him right now or if we could wait and see if it might be viral. The assistant said, If she prescribed them, he needs them. Never mind that it goes against all sorts of recommendations for treatment. I am not trying to be the doctor here, but it is very poor medicine to send a person who is not even a nurse back into a patients room with a diagnosis. There was no opportunity to ask questions, and I basically felt shooed out the door. And this assistant was their employee of the quarter! This clinic obviously throws antibiotics at everyone who walks in the door. In fact, I am willing to bet that most people who go in with a cough, cold, or fever get the flu test and/or a strep test and leave with anti-viral meds if the flu test is positive and antibiotics otherwise. Try another clinic if you are at all concerned with keeping your medical costs low, getting a correct diagnosis, talking to a doctor or P.A., or staying away from unnecessary antibiotics. I will not be back, no matter how convenient. Updated review: They also double charged me for the portion of the total that my insurance did not pay. If I had just paid it, that would have been a $130 mistake. Watch your bill. Or better yet, go somewhere else.
I received excellent customer service at this location. The staff, Chastae, RaShayla, Jen Hubbart and Dr. Thomas were very professional, accommodating and courteous. I knew I was in good hands the minute I walked through the door. This is a excellent, clean facility with an EXTRAORDINARY staff!!!
I had a short window for getting a mask fitting completed for a job, and they went out of their way to help. Super polite and professional. Thank you again!
Dr. Was great. Nurse was great. They were understaffed and the wait was several hours long. Make an online appt if you decide to come in because you get to cut in front of the people who have been sitting and waiting as a walk-in.
I had a great experience, the nurse is amazing as well as the doctor. Thank you for getting me in and out quickly.
I went to Access Medical to get help for an unfortunate situation involving medication. I have been prescribed a medication that my body is dependent on and I can not go without for long periods of time. After checking in with the girl at the front desk, I was brought back and had my vitals taken and gave a brief, but honest explanation for my visit. I was then taken in to another room to wait for the doctor. As I waited, I could hear the nurse and on call physician talking. I couldnt hear much of what the nurse was saying, But i could clearly hear the doctor. They were LOUDLY discussing my vitals/check in details. The doctor IMMEDIATELY placed judgement as soon as she saw that it was a controlled substance I was in need of. Her exact words were, yeah, thats classic seeking behavior... and also some assumptions about me lying about my blood pressure possibly being high due to withdrawing and being in pain.I should also mention that there was another girl present while the doctor and nurse were having this discussion. They seemed to know her, but she was not an employee there. Pretty sure thats illegal...So when she came in the room, in a very patronizing and dismissive tone she said, Im sorry, but we cant do anything for you. No, introduction, no inquiry about my situation. I said, ok and asked if she could recommend any other after hours clinics that might be willing to help. To which she said, I doubt it. I asked a few other questions, which she clearly wasnt interested in addressing. It was evident that she had made up her mind about My kind of people before she ever entered the room. She was in the room, at most, 30 seconds.I was humiliated. I had to walk past the desk with the teenage girl, (who knew more about me than I wanted her to,) and the nurse, who were chatting and giggling, on my way back out to the waiting room. I then approached the girl at the front desk to ask for my co-pay back. She went and asked someone in the back if that was ok and returned to give me my money. I was crying before I even reached the exit door. I then sat in my car, frozen, for 30 minutes, crying. The backstory is this(not that one is needed to recieve respectful, legal treatment :) I missed my scheduled appointment with my normal doctor (due to several factors- some her fault, some mine.) The plan that she and I made, was that I would try to make what medication I had last for 4 extra days until I could see her. But after the second day it became apparent this wasnt in my best interest. So with it being Easter Sunday, MY DOCTOR suggested that i go to an after hours clinic and she would be on standby to speak to the physician there and explain my situation. And see if they could write me an emergency supply to get me through until I saw her that week.I am WELL aware of the stigma surrounding Controlled substances and the abuse of them. Being a patient with long term, chronic pain, Ive been around long enough to get it. HOWEVER, as someone who has been very respectful of and worked VERY HARD to stay within the boundaries of what I am prescribed, I find it unfair and frankly unethical to be treated this way. It saddens me that people like your doctor abuse such jobs of authority. On a side note, You might be interested to know that I went to another after hours clinic and was treated with respect and dignity. They did the expected CS prescription background check on line for me. And as expected, there were no red flags... nothing suspicious. So they were able to help me.
Mediocre to bad here. First visit with my son, he got about 75% of his steroids down on his first sip. The nurse took the cup from him and tossed it. I asked if he needed the full dose, and she said it was good enough. Sure? She had trouble with the xray machine, but we were in and out quick and he was much better.Second visit with my wife, staff was bad to terrible. The nurse couldnt get the xray machine to work. We got all of the radiation with none of the results. That wasnt cool. The PA took his phone out for a full 30 seconds while I was talking. Not sure if he was checking his Facebook or looking something up. Maybe hes having a bad day? Or maybe he didnt know what we were talking about? I dont know. But he was disinterested and aloof, and well, kind of a jerk, and really didnt seem to care about anything we had to say, and didnt offer any real advice. We ended up going to an ER where we saw a real doctor that wanted to listen, and they had the equipment to take care of us.Which, honestly, is where were going next time. Give this place a pass.Edit to respond to Danas comments:When they spit it back out at my nurse. Uhhh, sure. My five year old asthmatic, who takes Zyrtec nightly and has had more doses of steroids and tylenol/motrin than I can count, spat it at your nurse. Suuuuuuure. Im impressed she remembers my son from so many months ago. I know I was an active participant in the alleged care he received, which is why I questioned the partial dose she threw away. But sure. He spat it at her. Suuuuuuuuuure. No response to my other comments. Xray machine still broken, huh?So either Im lying about your nurse, or your nurse is lying to cover her rear end. Ill let your thriving customer base decide which is which. Best of luck guys.
Friendly staff! Clean space! Pretty long weight time even when I came back after I came back but other than that a very pleasant stay. I really appreciate when the staff is friendly and the place is clean!
Husband had a very sore throat and wanted someone to look at it. Unfortunately we chose this place due to proximity. Wasted time and money as the Doc/PA/CRNA whatever they were wouldnt even look in his throat even though severe sore throat was chief complaint. He asked twice for the provider to look at the throat and both times got the brush off. Poor care, obviously not enjoying employment, and unprofessional. Will be reporting the lack of care to insurance carrier to verify the claim is properly coded. No look, hopefully no payment for substandard care. Dont waste your time, money or health. Staff was more concerned with closing on time than treating the patient. No examination done at all.
This place is rude and very limited. Needed blood work due to not feeling well. Was told no by Alana at the front desk. She put me on hold and asked the nurse in the back. I wish I had their name. Was told they wouldnt be able to send out any lab and were limited on the lab they drew at this facility. Follow up with a doctors office!!! Dont waste your time at this joke of a clinic!!!
Access Medical Center made getting a COVID test quick and easy. Their process is extremely safe and efficient – For that reason I will exclusively be using their services for all of my outpatient medical needs in the future.
Awesome and Friendly Place! All the workers there really care about their patients, you can tell they enjoy their job, but most importantly they make your experience fun with their interaction and care for your needs.
I’ve scheduled 2 rapid covid tests with this place. One was at 10 am yesterday, so I show up and they tell me they don’t have any more since they run out during the day. It’s unprofessional to not let me that you’re out of tests before I drive to the location. I scheduled another rapid test for today at 8 AM, so I know I would get one as the office opens at 8. I show up for my test and no one in the office is there even though they are supposed to be open. They also have a sign on the door that says they’re out of rapid tests. This is not the way you should treat people that might have COVID. This is very unprofessional. Do not try to get covid rapid tests here.
Alex (physician) and the nurse (didn’t get his name) was fantastic with my daughter and ran all tests to rule everything out. Very thorough, professional, and talked her and me through everything
I went in with an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. They gave me 2 shots one in each hip for a different antibiotic and benedryl. When I got the shot in one hip I was screaming in pain and crying. She said sometimes the medicine can hurt. Well no it was actually that you hit a nerve! I have spent the last 8-9 weeks not being able to bend my left hip to do things like tie my shoe or sit Indian style. Not going back again!
I was able to schedule an appointment on line, complete the paperwork online, and then watch my place in line - on line. Staff were all very cheerful, friendly and helpful.
Very friendly. The nurse, X-ray tech and pa was wonderful.
Inaccurate hours.I was there at 8:30am on a Thursday and the doors were locked with no one answering their phones. They may open later on some days of the week without posting it.I would call before going in!When I did go in the staff was great!
More than satisfied with the experience that I encountered with Access Medical center! One person that truly stood out to me would have to go to ALEX. Bless you for your promptness, professionalism and understanding!
North Penn location:Came in Saturday afternoon near evening. Ive been to all kinds of urgent cares but I was shocked by the short wait, even though no body else was in the waiting area.I didnt get a MD but she was just as good. I didnt get her name because I was focusing my energy on not passing out from the pain. But I walked (more like used my friend as a cane) to mostly limping out of the clinic by myself with no help. They cant prescribe you pain meds but they prescribed me pain relaxers, did an x-ray, got a steroid injection, got to a diagnosis, got a note for work, and the practitioner told me to establish care with a primary care physician and get a referral to a physical therapist. They even printed out detailed instructions for stretches I needed to do everyday and what my nex steps should be for further care.My copay (Its their copay, because my insurance doesnt do copays) was $45.
Wait time was less than 30 mins and the medical assistant was efficient and attentive. The PA Meredith Dunn was very kind and explained everything very well. I highly recommend this facility!
So unbelievably sick with WORSE UTI of my life! They were so sweet and accommodating. Definitely making this my new general practitioner 💕
1st trip, husband flu. 2nd visit son sports physical. 3rd urgent care after accident for myself. Very well trained caring & competent staff. Clean facility.Well done. They will definitely care for you & your family.
Carol is absolutely amazing! Kind, patient and so understanding. Bedside demeanor is gentle and thorough.
Every Member of the staff was very understanding and Knowledgeable!!! They got us in and out quick and gave us exactly what we needed to help my son feel better.
The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I saw the Doctor quickly and he helped with my issue. I would recommend.
I was very impressed with the care I received here. They are professional and proficient. The PA that I saw was extremely smart and thorough. I recommend them highly!
The staff here is very professional and personal. They make your visit as pleasant as possible and explain the several medical options available for YOU.Would Highly recommend!!
I wouldnt recommend this place at all. Literally had a doctor look at my fianceés throat, say wow that looks bad, say it looks like strep, test for strep (rapid test which is inaccurate), it came back negative, and then after that the doctor simply said I dont know what you have and didnt do anything else. No other tests, said go get Advil and gargle Benadryl. These people dont care at all. Feels like they just Googled it. Really disappointing
I was told the only provider on staff is pregnant, putting her in a high risk category for Covid, and she would not be able to see my kid because he had 1 symptom of Covid. Totally get that, understandable. Perhaps, though, if you’re in the Urgent Care business, don’t put an at-risk provider as the sole provider at the front lines of healthcare in this day and age. Not only are you not taking care of patients, that’s not taking care of your staff member. On another note, I highly recommend Edmond Urgent Care, less than a mile away.
I have used the center off Penn and 164th for a few years now. Staff is always courteous and helpful.
I went in for swelling on my finger. They were able to drain it and releave the pressure. I was seen right away and they were very professional. Easy process and quick everyone was very nice.
Seen for sinus infection and broncitis. They got me right in to see Dr Wilson. He gave me instructions along with prescriptions (although the antibiotic didnt work for me). I called back up and another lady doctor sent another antibiotic to the pharmacy instead of making me be seen again. Very nice people.
I took my son to Access Medical on Penn and 164th in Edmond. Gave them my BCBS insurance card and they said I had a $50 copay, which is what I was expecting. But then they said since they didnt know if Ive met my deductible theyd have to charge me full price as if I didnt have insurance. Clearly there are inept people running these places because thats why you have a copay. It even said copay for urgent care: $50. Why would they charge me non insurance price? The guy just kept saying you have to reach your deductible before you can do the copay. So stupid. I will never go to Access again. Fortunately there was another urgent care down the street that actually knew what they were doing. When I told them about the situation at Access they couldnt believe it. They clearly saw I had a copay and thats all i should be charged for.PS Clarification: The response below is a little inaccurate. I talked to my insurance company and I shouldnt have to pay anything other than my copay for urgent care. But, this Access urgent care isnt technically classified as other urgent cares. Please be careful and make sure you understand there are actual urgent cares that take the copay correctly, like Edmond Urgent Care, which is where I will go from now on. Access tried to tell me that i will get billed later from Edmond Urgent care, but after talking to BCBS they said I wont. So again, the people at Access needs to go through some more training.
Always fast, friendly and informative! I like that you can walk in and get seen right away. Love the staff too. We have never had a bad experience.
So.. yeah. No. Will not be going back. Ever. Went for a sinus infection. Did not listen when being told symptoms. Instead was asked if sad or depressed and if going to any Halloween parties. Tried using big words thought would not be understood. They were understood. Came off creepy. Will be going somewhere else now.
The staff was very knowledgeable and provided helpful information concerning my illness.
The staff was very friendly and understanding and the PA was kind, knowledgeable and thorough. We dont have a need for medical care very often but the next time we do, we will use them.
Very friendly staff. Quick and kind service. I would highly recommend this Access location.
Completely crappy facility, after I already was seen one day, and they failed to send my prescription, they wanted me to pay again to be seen. I had to sit and wait even after pharmacy called. I was in pain for hours and eventually had to go to the regular emergency department. I asked for the number to corporate and the refused to give it to me, then gave me some number to customer service. I wouldn’t take my dog to this place
The staff seemed knowledgeable, helpful and extremely personable. Fairly quick wait times as well. Would recommend.
Such kind staff here. Couldn’t possibly say anything bad about this place or the way they go about their business.
All staff members were super helpful and thorough! Made an appointment online and was assisted quickly. Definitely recommend!
