The care I received for my asthma attack was everything I could want from a visit to the Urgent Care! Their response to me was quick and professional , the assessment was fast and best of all, very helpful. They also gave me a Covid check - negative - which added to my relief. How fortunate it is to have this team near by.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Each time I take my daughter there for an illness that has gone on for WEEKS they always just say its viral, sorry we cant do anything. Refuse to give anything to help a child that is sick. We are talked to like we are stupid. They act like they could not care less about patients. Then the front desk was rude to my mother when she simply asked to be billed for the visit. Rude, non compassionate, unhelpful. Would recommend you find somewhere else to take your sick family members!
I was greeted immediately by very kind staff. I was headed to the exam room and the sweet nurse caught me to do a quick test and she was waiting for me when I got back to the exam room. Took my vitals and some info and I dont think the door closed all the way and the doctor came in. He said we have results and you need an antibiotic. Doc explained the meds and asked if I had any questions and I was finished. Said to call if I have any questions. Doctor was kind and thorough. I was 1 of 2 people there (that I could see) and I didnt even know you can check in online until I saw the sign on the way out. I will definitely use again!
Excellent service! Very professional and very clean. I scheduled the appointment on line and they were ready for me when I arrived. The doctor did a great job explaining my condition and was very personable.
It was a great experience from the time we walked in until we left. The staff are kind and caring. Dr Rodriguez was great at explaining everything to us and diagnosed the issue within minutes. They got us in and out within 30 minutes.Hands down, this was the best urgent care experience I’ve had!
We checked the hours and called to make sure this location has an X-ray machine as my wife broke her toe. You can’t get ahold of anyone on the phone so we went on Sunday morning. We get there and they tell us there is no X-ray tech - even though the recording on the phone says those services were available. The receptionist told us to go to the Bryant location across town which has an X-ray machine and tech today. We drive across town to this location and check in. They ask what’s wrong and we tell them broken toe. They said oh we don’t have an xray tech, but the Nichols Hills location has one available. That’s a 30+ min drive two towns over. I’m sorry but I’m finding it hard to trust my medical care to folks who don’t even know what’s going on in their own office. I ASKED if they verified this service was available before we drove…. And it was untrue. Not cool to be lied to.
I think the staff was very nice and helpful. The one thing I would change is that we had a doctor who was quite rough with my child. It may be that theyre not made to see many kids but the service was nice and they really did seem to care about our well-being. Thats why I rate at a 4 star instead of 5.
My husband and I went there today because he was in extreme pain. The two people working in the front were so rude. According to Mercys mission statement ....we bring to life the healing ministry of Jesus through our compassionate care and exceptional service. Those two workers were not compassionate at all. We also asked to got to a different Mercy urgent care because the facility doesnt have an X-ray technician to operate on the X-ray machine. Therefore, theres no exceptional service there either. If I can give it a zero star, I would.
The environment was clean, staff were professional, friendly, and efficient. The physician listened, answered questions, and explained everything thoroughly. Very pleased with this facility.
It is easy to get in quickly when you are sick or injured, conveniently located for North Edmond residents, and has friendly and competent service that accepts my insurance without a copay.
How the doctors and nurses handle an mock their patients they are treating behind thin glass doors is absolutely sickening. I went into this urgent care for a work related injury today. I am EXTREMELY well aware the injury I had wasnt serious. An was EMBARRASSED for having to report it. But there was NO NEED for the nurses an doctors to mock, make fun of, an one up my injury with how they would report injuries while in active duty in the military. No I was NOT trying to get workers comp over my finger injury. I was forced to see someone due to the injury done at work. Just because my finger was slammed into a bathroom stall door does NOT MEAN I deserve to over hear people belittle my reasoning for being at YOUR PRACTICE. An to the nurse who kept snickering an being sarcastic over where I work at, that was uncalled for an not professional for you to do what so ever. I would love to speak to a manager about what was said because the mockery I had to over hear made me NEVER want to return back for any sort of care ever again. An for those doctors an nurses on shift today from 3:30-4:40 today at this place. You should he ASHAMED of yourselves for mocking a patient. Just because you are doctors an nurses wmdoesnt mean you have any RIGHT to throw shade an act like complete prudes cause you would never report that type of injury. An I hope you all lose your licenses. I truly do.
I liked the doctor but we were put in a room that wasn’t cleaned from last patient. Trash from medical materials was on the trey. Didn’t feel clean. They seemed slow so it was confusing to me why the room wasn’t ready for a new patient.
I would love to give this place more stars but I can’t, unfortunately this is not the quickest place to go. We have now been waiting 15 minutes for our 9:00 appointment. The customer service upfront is good. The receptionist is very nice, but she’s talking across the lobby to someone else. There’s now four people waiting in the lobby and the two workers are still talking about hair cuts and how someone can’t blend hair. This is ridiculous for a doctors office that advertises quick and convenient care. I have tried other go locations and this one is quite the show. After 19 minutes we finally arrived in no a room. After 5 more minutes of waiting the “nurse” comes in. “What’s going on” She chooses a napkin to write on, she isn’t very nice at all. Her name is Mandy and she’s honestly one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. She made a sly comment over the mask that my boyfriend was wearing a “face napkin”, to be quite honesty you act like the thin little thin piece of cotton you’re wearing is any better? Just because you’re a “nurse”. She also was talking in the lobby and working at her cubicle WITHOUT the face napkin. Keep your sly comments to yourself. I then mentioned the medication my partner does take and that it’s on their file since he directly uses mercy. I basically had to tell Mandy to look it up in the system because he is allergic to a few things. Mandy seems like she doesn’t have quite much or any regard for how she’s helping. I almost had to make her lookup the medications. She did good thing. She then comes back in to ask a few obvious questions and then said “the doctor will be in shortly”. We are now back to waiting. It’s currently been 10 minutes. To go on and say the doctor was very helpful and very kind.
East to schedule appointment; Dr was very knowledgeable and a good listener. I have been coming to this clinic since it first opened in 2018, when I cant get into to see my Mercy Dr and weekend appointment
Be aware of Dr. Rodriguez!!! Took my daughter to get a rapid test for strep. Dr. Came in glanced real quick at the test and said yup has strep and threw it in the trash. I got a glance of the test before he did so I asked to see the test he pulled it out the trash and we both look at it. I asked where on the test it shows she has strep bc I saw nothing. Mind you the whole time he was acting nervous and seemed irritated. He said there was a very very faint line. I told him there was absolutely nothing there. He insisted it was very very faint. I know what I saw and there was absolutely nothing there. He prescribed her antibiotics. So I called her primary Dr. And made and appointment that same day within a hour or two. Got a rapid test done there and cultures and everything came back negative. Just as I suspected he was blatantly lieing to me about her being positive. Her primary Dr. Told me to not give her those antibiotics. I dont know what his motive was for lying? And am now worried that he has been doing this to other patients. I have never questioned any test before but definitely picked up on his weird behavior so that is why I asked to see the test. This is clearly malpractice and am waiting to get a call back to file an official report. Please be careful with this Dr. Rodriguez As I am reading reviews I see he has had alot of bad reviews. Hopefully Mercy will take this seriously and look into why I was lied too. This is how ppl become immune to antibiotics if they are just out there prescribing them to ppl who dont need them.
I have been to this clinic several times and Im so thankful it is available!! Caring staff and fast service!! Truly appreciate having this convenience!
I had a slight injury and they took care of me fast and with care. We all laughed after it was over but they kept me calm and collected during the visit. Shaunice and Dr. Rodriguez were fantastic. I would 100% recommend to anyone.
My visit was quick and convenient, easy check in that was transferred to my phone and I was able to complete. The doctor spent time with me and answered my questions.
I love Mercy Go Health! The Doctors and staff are so professional and caring to their patients. Clean, friendly atmosphere inside a nice shopping center next to two pharmacies. So convenient. I cant get into my family PC for weeks anymore. Im so thankful for this facility.
I am going to edit this review. I did have a terrible experience with this office at one time, but since then, they have remodeled and reopened, and they have been MUCH better! I am changing my 1 star review to a 5 star. Thank you for making this office a better place for patients. Your compassion shows ❤️Horrible experience. Front desk lady was extremely rude. Pulled back 3 other people to see the doctor before me and they came in AFTER me. I DO NOT recommend this location at all
Easy to make appointment online, I got right in and did not have to wait. Doctor was very attentive and helpful.
My LPN was caring and reassuring and took time to actually thoroughly examine me hands on. Her bedside manner was excellent and she made me feel calm when I usually am very anxious at the doctor and have a bit of white coat syndrome. I felt she really cared about me getting better and learning all that she could about my symptoms. And it was super quick, in and out in about 25 minutes, and some of that was waiting for my covid test to process
Visit fir my 16month old daughter. All the staff was kind and friendly. Didnt have to wait long to see Dr. Rodriguez. He listened to us, made sure we understood the medication he prescribed and answered all of our questions.
We will never go back to this Urgent Care! First, Victoria had a terrible attitude, and was not helpful at all. Second, we had a superintendent who cut his hand open, and Victoria stated that they would not be able to provide treatment until we provided Workers Comp information. Then we asked our employee to provide his personal health insurance while we waited for the Workers Comp information, so he could be seen, and Victoria stated that this was fraud and refused to treat our employee. Our superintendent was in the waiting room for about 30-45 minutes strictly because he could not provide Workers Comp information. We then asked if there was any other way our employee could be seen, and she stated that we could pay immediately. She gave us 2 different amounts at the time of the first phone call. We had to call them back to provide our payment arrangement, and were informed by Chris that they would provide us with the exact amount once the patient has been seen. A few hours after our employee left the Urgent Care, I get a phone call from another Mercy employee, Kacy, who stated that a person CAN be seen with or without Workers Comp insurance AND you do not have to pay anything immediately. Kacy stated that we have the option to be billed. Thank you Kacy for your helpful information. Victoria was very unprofessional, sassy, and rude. We are just happy that this was not a life or death situation and that our employee was treated.
I got an appointment online easily and I saw the doctor, had x-rays, the doctor visit and on our way timely.
Staff was nice, place was clean, 1 star for the policy I guess. We got rear ended pretty badly early this afternoon. Nothing too bad but we wanted to go make sure we didnt have concussions or anything that needed more serious attention. When we checked in they informed us that they dont do car crashes, because it was too complicated and handed us a flyer for a spinal injury clinic. I feel checking for a concussion or a noticeable sprain is elementary school nurse level requests. Obviously we didnt expect them to find internal bleeding without specialized gear, but they didnt even ask us/offer us any service before turning us away. It is clear these small urgent care shops are money grabs for easy fixes like anti-biotic prescriptions or z-pacs. I guess the hippocratic oath can get in the way of convenience
My primary care physician was unable to see me right away for my painful problem and advised that I go to the ER. However, I was able to easily get an appointment just hours later at the Mercy Go Health and decided to try it. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the thorough and attentive care I received. Melinda Kruger is the very knowledgeable and competent nurse practitioner there. She was very thorough in her evaluation of my symptoms and discussed with me her findings and impressions. Her explanations were clear and she made sure I understood and was comfortable with her treatment recommendations. Days later, after the test results were in, she provided a follow up email confirming that I should continue the prescribed course of treatment. I am extremely pleased with the quality of care I received and also with how easily I was able to get an appointment. I will not hesitate to use there services again.
I was seen quickly and professionally but nurse and doctor. Very grateful to be seen with so little hassle.
Quick to see me! Very thorough checkout. Referred me to the emergency room and recommended least busy ER!
All staff very kind, professional helpful. Dr was extremely professional and caring. Answered all my questions.
Explained to Dr Rodriguez that my child had an ear infection but for some reason he didn’t listen. He told us it would clear up and that it was only viral. Wrong Dr Rodriguez. It was viral AND bacterial. Needed antibiotics. We knew this and tried to explain it to him but he was very stubborn and refused to give him any ear meds. He could have cultured it if he had any doubt but didn’t and just sent us home with no meds for it.The last time we were here the docs were great but not this time unfortunately. He barely examined the ear. He actually initially refused to even look in it stating it was just viral and there was no reason to check it. I certainly don’t appreciate seeing a doctor who is so arrogant that he refuses to examine the patient. We won’t be back. There are other great urgent cares in Edmond with doctors that are far more sympathetic towards a sick kid.
Friendly knowledgeable discreet thorough engaging and professional peeps who seemed to enjoy helping their patients.
The doctor (Rodriguez) and staff were very kind, courteous and thorough.
All staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our nurse was extremely accommodating. Our visit was quick and easy. The facility was neat and clean.
Horrible. Greeted by unfriendly people who dont want to be bothered. Tried calling all morning to schedule an appointment but you cant talk to anyone. Then we arrive and are told we will have to wait all day behind people who actually made appointments even though the VM greeting stated that they are taking walk ins. Theres nobody here but were just sitting and waiting for appointments to show?I will definitely not ever come here again. Mercy has a bad reputation for a reason.
The staff is friendly and helpful. It took only 5 minutes after checking in to be escorted to a patient treatment room. The medical staff were thorough with their questions for me about my concerns and symptoms. They were also patient in doing the necessary testing to make sure they had all the information they needed to make a proper diagnosis. It was nice to have my test results right away. When I left Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care Clinic, I already felt better because I was confident with my diagnosis and plan for recovery.
Seth and our PA were both terrific. We were there on Easter Sunday and appreciated their willingness to work on a Holiday and their friendly attitudes.
I brought my son in since he had been prescribed antibiotics the week prior but wasnt feeling any better and we werent able to get in with his primary care doctor. I was shocked at the lack of courtesy shown by the receptionist (shorter blonde lady with a stocky build) who took us into the room and took vitals. When I explained why we had come in, she literally stated that my son didnt have a fever so why are you here? I replied that he had been sick for at least 5 days and would be missing school, and that in addition to a covid test, we wanted a doctors note for school. She stated very condescendingly that I cant do that for you since he doesnt have a fever. I told her I would visit with the provider about medical issues and that shut her down. I dont believe this lady is even a health care professional; she is a receptionist. Im not certain why she felt entitled to voice any health care related opinions. Although the provider was very sweet and addressed our medical questions thoroughly, the visit was less than pleasant overall. Please visit with your receptionist about 1. The propriety of giving medical advice with is reserved for medical providers and 2. Tone. It is quite possible that she isnt s aware of how condescending and impolite she sounds.
BEWARE! They fraudulently signed me up for convenient auto pay and charged me $50 in addition to my co-pay without authorization. I called and an employee admitted they get incentives for signing customers up for auto pay and I shouldn’t have been signed up. I thought it was strange that I received an email thanking me for my payment before we were even done with the X-ray. I asked the tech and she said that’s not right and confronted the front desk employee. The employee then admitted she went ahead and ran my payment. The tech told her that’s not right and she could get in trouble for that! Long story short they charged me $20 for my copay that day and an additional $50 two days later.I have sent numerous emails to Mercy corporate billing and to this day I don’t have a resolution in this matter. This is the second time I have been fraudulently overcharged $50 by Mercy GoHealth. They have absolutely no explanation as to why they overcharged me $50 twice. When they researched my account they cannot find the $50 payments applied to my account. I sent them proof of the credit card charges but they have no explanation as to where the money went. It would be safe to assume an employee is committing fraud at this location or Mercy is committing fraud. I bet I’m not the only one this has happened too!
A great urgent care. Dr Ridriguez is great. Hes thorough. Friendly. Very nice.
Mercy Go-Health is very thorough and helpful with thoughtful questions and answers.
Scheduling an appointment was quick and easy, the nurse and doctor made me very comfortable and they were both easy to talk to. I was in and out within 30 minutes which was nice because I have an extremely busy schedule and work almost 80 hours a week.
Very friendly, professional and caring. Explained everything about my need for testing and treatment to my understanding
Efficient. Friendly. By making an appointment, I didnt have to sit in a waiting room while feeling terrible with other sick patients. I could just arrive, check in, and go back to an exam room. I love Mercy.
Linda is a great nurse every time she works us up for the Dr she is kind and professional. The Dr we last saw (forgot name) was also great he listened and took care if us. It is easy to schedule an appointment online and to check in and out. Clean well ran facility!!! ⭐️
Quickly diagnosed me with Strep Throat. Prescribed appropriate medications and I felt better the next day.
We have been to Mercy-GoHealth on numerous occasions (probably 8-10). Each time we pay cash for our visits and then later get a bill for additional charges. The cost is presented up front, both before and after the appointment. No variables are at play (we’re talking about a simple check up) so there is no reason for the additional charges they apply. Unfortunately, if they aren’t paid, you will be sent to collections. What they are doing is borderline criminal.
Very punctual. Professional and and supportive in addressing my medical issue.
They took me right in without much wait, the facility was clean and comfortable. The staff was efficient and the doctor took time to explain his findings. As nice an urgent care facility as I have seen lately.
Covell Mercy Urgent care is staffed with caring professional folks. And so convenient to North Edmond. We moved here last summer and they have taken care of us many times. Easier and quicker than going to large Mercy Clinic and our primary care Dr. Great Service.
Very kind employees. They did the most to make sure I got what I need even though I came unprepared.
It was so fast and I loved that I was given options on how to feel better with my condition, it wasnt just what the doctor said she let me know what options I had to feel relief and guided me through everything. The doctor and nurses were so helpful and making sure I understood everything and made me feel so comfortable
Very professional and caring staff. Answered all my questions within a timely manner after visit. Staff and doctor Rodriguez defiantly made me feel safe during my visit with all my questions and concerns, and did not pass judgement with anything.
Very smooth checkin and visit. Just wish the attending physician had been more detailed in exam.
Friendly staff; clean facility; speediness of being seen; thorough exam.
It was close to closing when we showed up and we were told that they were booked up until close, but asked what was wrong. I told them what was wrong with my son and the lady at the front desk said OK will see him. They made room for him even though it caused them to have to stay a little bit late and I really appreciated that. I wish I had got the ladys name at the front desk because she was amazing and she kept checking on us and seeing if we needed anything. We ended up being seen and treated quickly by Dr. Hopkins and my son is feeling much better. Dr. Hopkins was professional and patient. He really took care of my son. I really appreciate that they took the extra time to see us and treat my son. Thank you!!!
Was very helpful , and made sure I understood ,want was my problem, and how we can treat it. And if had any problems in future, what I can do and the staff was friendly
I was seen promptly and efficiently. Staff was very friendly.
EVERY staff member from start to finish was top knotch in every way!
Dr. Rodriguez and his team are wonderful. My PCP was on vacation and I was having an issue that I needed seen right away. Im so glad I chose this clinic. Thoughtful, kind, compassionate and thorough. Awesome team of wonderful professionals!
Wonderful nurse staff and great facility. All equipment and tools seemed top notch. The doctor listened closely to all symptoms, asked questions and over all CARED which is hard to find sometimes. He then explained what was going on in detail as well as treatment. On top of that receiving a follow up call is pretty much of unheard of for urgent care in my experience. I Would definitely return and recommend to others. I would just like to express my thanks. Having a sick 11 month old that has been up all night is stressful and they were there to help. Thank you all for what you do.
Fantastic; these ladies and gentlemen know what they are doing.....great service!!
They were great! I had to bring my daughter and she’s 3, but Keegan was the absolute sweetest and included her in taking care of me! Thank you so much for letting her help and making the visit easy! He also gave her tons of stickers and a lollipop at the end! I’d definitely visit this location again. Make an appt you get in quick
Always easy to get appointments, short wait, caring staff
I like having a scheduled appt. Less hectic, less germs and closeness, staff and patients seemed much more relaxed and calm. The entire experience was much more professional, and it appeared that the doctors werent as rushed.
The wait time is horrible- sat in the room waiting for a provider for 1 hour. We scheduled an apt at 10:45 and saw the provider close to noon. And not a full exam. Rushed- didnt check lungs with a deep cough. Disappointing because other locations have been a great experience
Made an appointment online, I was seen at my scheduled time (no wait). The staff was nice, caring and professional. The NP took the time to conduct a thorough examination and go over after care instructions.
The process and appointment were quick as easy. The staff was very friendly and professional.
Excellent care, excellent staff. In and out in no time! Thank you...
Waited 3 hours today (only two ahead of us in line). Painfully slow service and inattentive in moments when you actually saw a doc. This was for a 4 year old’s broken arm , who was extremely restless and in pain ………. not fantastic bedside manner with a toddler. Radiologist was very kind, but overall just inefficient service (we won’t be back) and a doctor who seemed very unaware that a toddler was waiting in his doctoring.
The PA Megan Mitchell was great. This is the second time Ive seen her for my daughter and Ive seen her myself once and shes always been very through. I appreciate her very much and am glad she is at my urgent care. The handful of times I’ve been here the medical assistants have been great.
Guy at the front desk thought he was funny I guess. Talked down to me and my son. Both of us felt terrible and did not appreciate the humor. He kept on and on making appointment setup take longer than it should. Get rid of him and everything was good. Just go to Immediate care 1/2 mile down the road. Theyve always taken good care of me. AND, they dont have a pompous a$$ at the front desk...
I absolutely love Mercy-Go Health North Urgent Care because of the professionalism, the doctors, the staff, the appearance of the clinic and the convenience. Theres nothing not to love.
My Mercy GoHealth Urgent Care was tops in my book. Got right in with no long wait time and “patiently” taken care of like I expected to be. Keep up the great work Mercy!
I was the 1st walk in to sign in and had to wait in my car until they texted me to come in at 9:10. Once in, the staff was very professional and the doctor was especially kind. The facility was clean and appropriate protective gear/measures were taken by the staff. I havent gotten my bill yet and hope i dont have issues as far as insurance etc. Overall so far, i would definitely recommend this facility.
For Dr Rodriguez and the Team at the North Edmond Mercy GoHealth Urgent Care, thank you for excellent care! I have visited several times over the last few years and I have always been treated well. The ease of scheduling, being seen timely, the professionalism of all staff, the courteous and compassionate excellent medical care received keep me and my family coming back. Thank you !
My normal nurse practitioner’s office wasn’t going to be able to see us the day we called or even the next day so they recommended we go here. Everyone was very nice and helpful, we got in and out super quick. I think it only took 30 minutes. We only needed a prescription for an ear infection
Terrible! I did not have appointment because they were booked but they advertised that walk ins are welcome. The person at the front desk was not happy that I did not have an appointment. Upon finding this out they rolled their eyes and said awesome sarcastically. I took a seat and proceeded to watch HIPAA violations over and over by the whole team. Everyone sitting in the lobbying knew what each patient was being treated for and/or their test results as they were discussed loudly among the team.
They were awesome! They were nice, efficient, and patient with my kiddos! I walked in and registered all four of my kids 7 and under (2 of which with ASD, and all four with sensory sensitivity), completed testing, and was seen by their provider, with discharge instructions in about 30 minutes. The provider was awesome. She was playful in getting them to do what she needed them to do, and listened to their cues if they were uncomfortable. Our provider was Katrina Norman.
Team was kind and knowledgeable, will definitely be coming back!
This clinic does not deserve any stars. I visited today by appointment for a covid test. I have no confidence in the results. I was in this clinic for a full hour, 40 minutes of which was after being tested. I believe I was completely forgotten. My ride outside reported staff member making multiple trips to their car for smoking break. I could hear two staff members at desk chatting and when I left they were both just sitting at computer. The staff are negligent, poor communicators, and no one should take this clinic seriously for their healthcare. I think Mercy should consider whether they have any competence employed at this center. I will never go back and plan to suggest same to others.
The clinic was fine, but the Nurse Practioner, Katrina Norman has no business in this field. She lies & is rude! I went for a UTI several times as it was the weekend. She was rude everytime. I noticed on my OU portal that she told lies about what she said to me. I contacted Mercy Go, thats a joke, she had left by the time I saw it. They did nothing. Im thinking about filing a complaint to the Board of Nursing. She has no business practicing. Now its on my record for all to see.
My family had a terrible experience with Dr. Orson Rodriguez at the Covell location. My wife took my son there after he got a pretty bad cut on his lip while playing basketball. When Dr. Rodriguez asked her about insurance, he assumed she had Sooner Care or Medi Care before giving her a chance to answer. My wife is White, and I am African-American, so my son is both. I feel like it is very bigoted and inappropriate to assume that we are poor because I am black. This totally unprofessional doctor took one look at a white woman with a mixed child and made racist assumptions. He also made the assumption that my son was hurt in a fight before being told he was injured playing basketball. We are both college-educated professionals with good careers, and it was very insulting.
Kind and efficient - love the check-in, the screen keeps you up to date where you are in line.
Thank you for the care you my wife and myself. Melinda was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. We will have no problem in recommending and going back.
Everyone was extremely nice and the wait was much shorter than the emergency room! My husband had to get stitches on his face and the doctor did a great job. Very thorough-checked everything to make sure my hubs was okay. I would highly recommend going here if you need stitches over going to the ER.
Me and my daughter enjoy coming to this location in Edmond. The people are very nice and friendly and a couple of them know us by now because we use them all the time. Its not far from our home and we never have any problem getting an appointment.
They are efficient and I like that you are able to schedule an appointment online. With an appointment, it’s quick to get the care you are going there for and with little wait time. Also the doctor and staff are very friendly and thorough to run test and prescribe a cure.
The provider was extremely thorough and I felt like the staff AND provider cared about my well-being. The test also came back so much faster than expected. I will definitely consider returning in the future if needed. I was tested at Immediate Health the day before and they did not examine me or anything. Not a great experience there! Thank you.
Scheduling an appointment is a joke. I completely understand being short staffed but schedule appointments based on your staff for the day. After being told that all six rooms were full, I was shocked to be taken to a room after having sat in the waiting room and witnessing that no one else had left. Then sat patiently for an hour and a half with no check in. I’ll try my luck elsewhere to see if they value customers more.
I went in for a Covid-19 test and they had me sign a form that dictated which test that I wanted. I selected the outside lab test and instead they gave me a rapid test and they are now charging me $75 for something I didn’t want. When I called their billing department to get this fixed they basically told me I’m out of luck and I needed to figure it out with my insurance. Now I’m having to jump through hoops to fix their mistake when they should have fixed it themselves. They should have submitted the claim to my insurance since they went against my wishes and they didn’t. I will never come back here. You should not have someone sign a form, go against it, and then make the patient fix it. Also, you should not expect a patient to pay for the doctors mistake. If I could I would give them a zero star for this. This is unprofessional and there is no excuse for what they did especially since I don’t have the $75 to spend. If I did I would have checked the box for the rapid test.
Positive experience, clean , professional staff and no delay!
I definitely do not recommend going to this urgent care location!!! Never before have I ever felt so belittled by a doctor (Dr. Orson Rodriquez). I brought my 21 year old daughter to this location because it was so close. Turns out she had bronchitis and she was having difficulty breathing. The doctor raised his voice at me saying she needed oxygen right now but withheld it until she took a Covid test. And while having difficulty breathing she had to do it through a mask. Then gave her oxygen, breathing treatment, steroid, and an inhaler. She was fine at this point, she said that she felt so much better. But the doctor is still raising his voice at me telling me she needs to go to the hospital by ambulance and I said no that I would take her. He refused to let her go with me and proceeded to call an ambulance without my consent. At the hospital they were confused why she was brought by ambulance because everything was fine with her! The hospital did a chest X-ray and some blood work and released her. Which they could have done at the urgent care. And I was never asked where to take her and instead of bringing her to Integris which was 10 mins away and in network they took her 30 mins away to out of network. I will never go back to this clinic!!! Worst experience ever!!!!!!
I have been to this clinic a couple of times and have had wonderful experiences both times. Yesterday, I saw Dr. Rodriguez and he fixed me up quickly and today I am so much better. Quick and easy to get in and see a doctor who listens and fixes a problem is great. Thank you to the staff and doctor!
Clinic is efficient and listens well. I was in and out with my 2 year old daughter in less than 20 minutes. Thanks!
The experience was quick and efficient. Operations show they care about my safety and the safety of others. I especially appreciated my nurse that wasnt comfortable drawing my blood as my veins are tiny, and also the Dr that got it first stick! Would definitely recommend!
The PA (Megan Mitchell) was amazing! She took great care of me- was sensitive to my concerns- and even sent me home with a few supplies to help keep my dog bite cleaned and bandaged properly. Truly was great!
* Edit2*It’s now June 2023, nearly 2 YEARS after my original office visit. After talking to no fewer than a dozen people at GoHealth, they finally submitted my covid test bills to insurance and were paid. I thought I was finally done. But no - GoHealth is the gift that keeps on giving! They have recently sent bills for ANOTHER covid test from July 2021 and an $18 office vist bill from the same timeframe, neither of which I’ve been billed for prior to this. Both were promptly thrown in the trash, which is where this business belongs. Now that INTEGRIS has opened an urgent care by quail springs, I can’t imagine any reason to go here.*Edit*Despite the “sincere apology” below, there has been no change to my billing situation. I’ve exchanged countless emails with the billing department and they are just as useless as before I posted this review. They refuse to bill my insurance and I refuse to pay the bill. Where does this end? I can’t stress enough that you should avoid Mercy Go-Health like the plague.Original review:My family received several rapid COVID tests at this location in July 2021. Mercy billed my insurance for an office visit fee, which was promptly paid. However, they refuse to submit for the rapid COVID test fees, despite the fact that they are 100% covered by the same policy. It’s now Dec 2021 and they are billing ME for $225 worth of tests rather than simply billing my insurance in the same way they did for the office visit. I’ve spent multiple hours arguing with these clowns over the phone to no avail. I will NEVER use Mercy again and I’d suggest you do the same! There are plenty of other places where you can receive the same lackluster care, but without the billing headaches!
Scheduled 0930 virtual visit. Logged into call at appropriate time and waited til 11 for provider to join. Provider never joined then I got disconnected. Got new 12:30 visit, told provider I don’t live at old address to send prescription to Edmond Walgreens. Provider Sent to old address anyway and not Edmond so have to wait another hour and a half for prescription. Now 3 pm and have literally not gotten prescription I need from 0930 am appointment. Wouldn’t recommend virtual and good luck getting in for a face to face.
Quality of care varies wildly. Some of the staff are incredible and have helped me and my family with a number of minor illnesses, but I also had Flu B misdiagnosed as a sinus infection and ended up in the emergency room two weeks later. Bedside manner also varies. You might have a great experience here, but be careful.
Being from Florida I contacted the flu while visiting my daughter and family. Being able to make an appointment and getting right in was extremely helpful. The staff were excellent and I would definitely recommend this physicality to anyone needing medical care.
Work on your online system please. We met our obligation to be at the appt at the agreed on time and had to wait 1.5 hrs to be seen, less than urgent response time. I understand minimum staffing and patient volume impacts response time, however, a multimillion dollar company should be able to account for this and inform patients that response times are slower than normal based on the avg of the days events. This would help us and other patients make informed decisions regarding where to seek treatment. At a minimum, the nurse on staff should keep the rooms updated on times.
Great patient care.My appointment was on time.Great listening skills on staff part. Will be going back every time I need Urgent care.
I was unable to see my primary care dr or even his PA so I decided to come here. I made an appointment and was seen quickly. The staff was very professional and helpful. I was very pleased.
Worst medical care I have ever received. If I could give zero stars, I would. In fact, I basically received no care unless a Covid test counts as medical care. They didnt examine me. No vital signs were taken nor was a medical history. They saw I was Covid positive and showed me the door. Then they had the nerve to send me a bill for a doctors visit without first submitting to my insurance. I gave them the information twice. Will never use Mercy Urgent Care again.
I was so very impressed, from the quick sign in at the kiosk, and delicious hot tea while you wait, the warm friendly receptionist and nursing staff, Dr was excellent-thorough, professional and kind, to the caring follow up call the next day. I will definitely be back when an urgent care is needed! Highly recommend.
Really fast once I was in. I scheduled online for rapid COVID-19 test. They were running about 35 minutes behind but other than that it was a good visit. Everyone was very friendly and got me taken care ofThank you for all your hard work
The provider and staff went above and beyond to help me and my son! I came in after work for my son who was having an asthma flare up, the provider knew exactly what to do and got everything taken care for my son. Edmond is a wonderful location
I was able to walk in and be seen quickly and efficiently. If that hadn’t happened I would have had to wait three days to be seen by my family doctor.
Billing issues… the gentleman at the front desk did not submit my insurance correctly then when I had to call my insurance company and they called him, they instructed him on what to put in the system. Still, after doing this my claim was not submitted. I called Mercy GoHealth billing to resolve the issue, and they confirmed my insurance had not been submitted. Not only that, when I walked in for service I had to wait for him to finish his personal phone call. Super unprofessional.
The physician’s assistant, Sam Elder, was fantastic. After testing positive for Covid-19, I asked about Paxlovid. Sam agreed to prescribe it but cautioned against picking it up and using it unless my symptoms worsened. He explained his reasoning at great length, and Im so glad he did.One of his main concerns involves “symptom rebound” once patients end Paxlovid treatment. Sure enough, two days after my visit, Dr. Anthony Fauci announced that he was experiencing Paxlovid rebound, with the symptoms far worse this time than he initially experienced. My symptoms have remained mild, and I am glad I never picked up the Paxlovid prescription.
I did not have to wait very long. The doctor was kind, informed, a great listener, and diagnosed my symptoms and formulated a plan. He was excellent!!
Worst healthcare experience I have ever had. I did the online check in to save my spot yet still had to wait a half hour past my appointment time to be seen, even though there were not any other patients being seen. I am still ill (thanks to incorrectly dosed antibiotics). I was told to follow up with them if it didn’t get better, when I did, I was told that I should contact my PCP since I wasn’t getting better.Oh did I mention they will bill your insurance and you as an ER visit when you go here. #ripoffThis place is awful.
Beware of going here for a COVID test!! The nurse practitioner who saw me was very nice, however, the MA at the front desk directly lied to me about what I would pay for my COVID test. He handed me a form to sign during check-in, and at the bottom, it mentioned there would be a $75 charge for a Rapid COVID test. I asked him about it before signing, and he said it wasn’t true, that since I had insurance, they would bill my insurance for it and just charged me a $20 copay at the time. He also had me sign a form to authorize keeping my credit card on file to charge any additional fees after my insurance was processed. About 2 weeks after my visit, my credit card was charged an additional $55, so I assumed this was the portion I owed after insurance; but then earlier this week I received an email saying my credit card is going to be charged another $50! I also finally received an EOB from my insurance, which said I should have only owed $50 total. So today, I called the billing department and they said the Rapid COVID test is automatically a $75 self-pay fee (not billed to insurance), which directly contradicts what the MA at the check-in desk told me. However, she also said since I paid the $75 for the rapid test, the rest of the visit (basically just the NP coming in to tell me my test was negative) should have been fully covered by my insurance. So she is supposed to be cancelling that additional $50 pending payment. In the end, I am glad I am only having to pay $75 instead of $125, but I am incredibly frustrated about being lied to; I guess it was naive of me to believe the MA’s word instead of the form I was signing. I also am fairly certain that if I would have gone elsewhere for my COVID test, it would have been fully covered by my insurance. I won’t make the same mistake by going to this urgent care again.
I worked in the medical field as a medical assistant for 9 years..EXCELLENT EXCELLENT service from the time I walked in to the time I walked out.. Where is the Service of Excellence award button and how many times can I push it??!!! I will be telling EVERYONE I know about the Mercy-Go Health Urgent Care in Edmond on Covell!! Go there! Go there! Go there! Dr Rodriguez was So attentive, listened to everything I had to say,, went above and beyond what I was expecting, The testing of A and B flu results were FAST! Staff was COVID READY AND PREPARED! They got me on my way to recovery with a no wait in line at my pharmacy with my prescription waiting for me...Thank you so much!!!
I’ve had to visit this facility 5 times for 2 children over the last year. With the online scheduling, I hardly ever wait more than 5 minutes before being taken back to a room. The doctors and nurse practitioners are very friendly and efficient and the facility seems extremely clean!
Everyone is so polite and helpful and Dr. Crowder actually spends time to explain and make sure you understand. Off the chart. Thank you for working me in.
Everyone very kind and helpful from front desk to the Dr. Definitely recommend this Mercy urgent care
Quick service, respectful interactions, clean facilities, provider listened to my concerns without talking over me or talking down to me. Much appreciated, would schedule again there if needed.
We were visiting from out of town during the holiday season and was seen by Katrina Norman. My 2 year old was scared she had bugs and spiders in her ear..... just an ear infection but Katrina double checked for bugs and even let my toddler look in her ears. She was amazing with my daughter and the clinic got us in and out in 15 mins!!!! Best urgent care visit I’ve experienced! They also have a check in online so you can see if there is a wait or not.
Closed on arrival with minimal notice and would not honor my appointment scheduled online. Small sign apologizing for the inconvenience is dwarfed by at least three unobserved signs saying now open. Im sure the staff are excellent and they probably had reason to be Closed so suddenly. Im just upset that the reason has been hidden and minimal effort was taken to notify those with appointments.
I was seen quickly. Staff was super nice, and meds prescribed by Dr. helped THAT DAY:)
The first day I went here the service was good except the dr never gave me a diagnosis he just tested me for covid flu and strep and said all are negative and sent me on my way. Three days later I couldn’t see my PCP so I went back and after waiting 30 mins the receptionist told me there was nothing g they could do to help me….so they wouldn’t see me and they couldn’t treat me! This is not acceptable to me! There are still other illnesses out there besides Covid !
Maybe just waiting and having my son go to a doctor on Monday would’ve been more beneficial. He was told by the doctor at the clinic that he was allergic to something but the doctor wasn’t sure what it was..... he was sent home with a prescription and a referral to an Ophthalmologist. He went to the Ophthalmologist today as suggested and that Doctor was curious why the clinic referred him since the reaction had nothing to do with his actual eye balls.... Maybe allergy medicine, blood work, and/or a referral to an allergy clinic would’ve been better. Just upset that he’s out more money for seeing a specialist and still unsure.
David K Hopkins, DO listened to my health concerns and evaluated me. I also like that when he was going through my health history and past test results, there was another screen on the wall so that patients can view them with the doctor. After my visit, David K. Hopkins wrote a summary that was available for me on mymercy. No other Mercy doctor has done that and I really appreciate that summary because if I go see another provider, I will be able to show them that evaluation so that I dont have to explain everything. David K Hopkins also gave me instructions on who to see and what number to call. Im very appreciative.
The visit went well, it was a few days later when they called me back to see how I was doing. I told them that I was worse, more coughing and now I have no voice. The lady just said I hope you get better??? Why even call if you don’t have a response I can bet the doctor never heard how I am. I have been a registered nurse for many years and I would never call a patient and then just blow them off like that.
If you need to be seen quickly for a health consern this is the place. Quickly seen, clean professional looking place.great staff. Staffed by a doctor.
Did a walk in for general health and was told by the male receptionist that I wouldnt be allowed to see a doctor without telling him out loud in front of other customers in the waiting room why I needed to see a doctor. This was after I explained I wasnt sick nor covid related, he still refused to allow me to write my personal reason on my paperwork and let the doctor read it and speak about it in private. Im currently speaking to lawyers now about the HIPPA violation he forced me to endure in front of others in the waiting area for his own personal pleasure.
This facility lied to my face and over the phone about their rapid covid testing price. They told me they will bill it to my insurance and never did. They even told me my covid testing bill was denied even though they know that they never even sent them the bill. They charged my insurance $145 for the urgent care office visit and also directly bill me $75 for their use of a 3rd party rapid covid test. They did not tell me this in advance and I had get my insurance on a conference call with them to find out they never even tried to bill my insurance for the rapid covid test. These folks are liars and crooks.
Friendly, Welcoming, and Caring.Thank you so much!
Scheduled an urgent care appointment for my daughter. Then I received a notification that they may not have a pediatrician on staff so I should call to confirm. I called and called and called. No one answers the phone or returns voicemails. Dont advertise pediatric services if you dont have them. Ended up going to Immedite Care in Edmond.
Excellent experience from check-In to check out. Even though the clinic was very busy, the Dr was very patient, explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. I did not feel rushed in any way. (Rare)
I went in for a back injury and all they did was did a Adjustment on me. Told me the problem is one leg is longer than the other one. And sent me on my way. Go to a different doctor 4 hours later because pain got worse she said why did they do that? They need to give you a steroid shot and inflammation shot.
Will not visit this place again. Employees don’t wash their hands or wear gloves while performing tests.
My daughter was needing to be urgently seen on Thanksgiving Eve. The staff member at check in and Provider APRN helped us at our visit. Both were Outstanding, Awesome, and Most Compassionate!!! Thank you so much to them both!!!
One lady, name sounds like raina? Was very rude and refused to offer care even with parental consent. The patient could barely breathe. We asked to see a manager and she refused to call her boss. We asked for her name and she also refused to give her name because she was wrong. Do not recommend.
This was my first time here. I felt miserable, which they’re used to, but they were still so caring and compassionate. The place was clean and the checkin was efficient. You don’t want to have to be at an urgent care, but I ever need one again, it will be this one.
The worst experience Ive ever had at an urgent care facility. Staff was rude, the doctor didnt say a word to me. I would give negative stars if possible.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The PA was thorough and answered all my questions. I would definitely use this clinic again.
I give Mercy a 10 plus The intake gentleman was incredible... He was so patient and really helped with my granddaughter so she wouldnt be nervous during hertesting... The red haired African-American gentleman has a special gift espicially with children. I was amazed at his professionalism.
The care and concern of the Provider and staff was remarkable. The follow up call really made me feel good to know the health team cared and not as if they were just doing me a favor or their duty.
The staff was really helpful and nice. I made an appointment online and only waited a few minutes. The whole experience was very pleasant.
Friendly helpful staff. I was too shook up to sign in so the receptionist signed in for me!Amazing and knowledgeable.
If they tell you that you are required to pay an additional $75 for the rapid COVID test because your insurance wont cover it - please double check. I fell for this in December 2020 and found out today that my insurance also paid in full. BCBS contacted them to refund my $75 payment.
I would not recommend seeking a covid test here. Twice they attempted to bill for $75 for covid tests. Despite the fact that our insurance clearly sent an EOB that states nothing is owed the provider. The second time they SENT THE BILL TO COLLECTIONS! Beware of poor billing practices and attempting to collect on free covid testing. Theyll claim the charge is for the visit, not the test, when literally no other care was provided. Save yourself the headache and find another testing location.
My fiance and I went to Mercy Gohealth on Edmond to get covid tests. The whole process from scheduling the appt to getting our tests results was great! Keegan has a great bedside manner!
Horrible from beginning to end. Made an appointment online for 1:00pm. Arrived on time and checked in. Finally called back at 2:47pm. Saw provider at 3:20pm, who then argues with me about a condition Ive been dealing with for a decade. No respect for peoples time or people in general. Worst urgent care experience Ive ever had.
Everyone is always so nice and attentive. Everything is explained thoroughly. And being able to schedule online through Solv is so convenient.
Please make sure the bill is sent to my insurance. The clinic was well organized and staffed with courteous and professional personnel. All personnel wore appropriate protective gear!
Very very kind and attentive, I was in a “state” and they were SO compassionate, highly recommend! So grateful for doctors and nurses, staff as well!
Went in thinking son had ear infection, instead of truly checking him over they said he had dehydration from a stomach bug 3 days before. So I followed instructions went to ER, spent over 5 hrs in ER waiting room to find out all he had was an ear infection and no dehydration. So now, I will have 2 bills.
I was seen quickly, the staff was great and I my provider came back to examine me and gave me her time and attention.
10 out of 10. Great clinic! Sam Elder is a very talented PA. He really listens and can think outside the box. And the staff was very nice!
Personnel were friendly and helpful. Everything flowed smoothly, and in a timely manner. I felt cared for.
Quick movement from door to exam room. Most of the staff were friendly, helpful, and kind.
Very rude unhelpful disrespectful and racist! Wouldn’t recommend this clinic to any black person.
So great to find a facility on a Sunday. The nursing staff was caring and compassionate. The Dr was informative and gave options.
I was able to be seen and diagnosed quickly.
Amazing staff and doctors and nurse practitioner . They took care of my daughter and me . Thank you 🙏🏼
Very thorough and quick!! Love this place! Very thorough!
They were cordial, efficient, and my results were delivered professionally with a smile. Mercy - GoHealth Urgent Care was a smart choice!
Very friendly, professional staff from check-in through seeing provider. Was seen quickly. Diagnosis & treatment clearly explained.
I always find the Dr on staff knowledgeable and helpful. I don’t feel rushed . The staff are friendly and accommodating. Good job everyone !
Had to go to Mercy Go Health urgent care clinic on Covell Rd. in Edmond on Friday. They took good care of me quickly. Would go back again if I ever need to.
Guy working front desk tonight might be the rudest human on the planet. If you’re going to get angry about not having an appointment then remove your sign saying walkins welcome.
No wait, very friendly, helpful, knowledgable medical professionals.
Extremely friendly, quick and thorough.
If I could give you zero stars I would. Worst place ever. Not only are they rude every time I have gone to this place but they also refused to treat me this last time. I will not be in again and will inform every family member and friends not to go to this clinic or any mercy facility except maybe the heart hospital. The rest of the facilities do not care about there patients.
Prompt attention, easy process. I would return
I was taken in a timely manner. The staff was courteous and kind. Satisfied with my care and diagnosis. Everyone is polite. This was my second visit! Completely satisfied
The staff was amazing! super kind, funny and beyond helpful! The facility was clean and comfortable, I would give this place 1 million stars if I could!
Very friendly staff. The wait wasnt very long. Listened to my complaint and fax the prescription to my pharmacy. Would definitely recommend this place!
They offer lots of support. They are very informative and very helpful. I am thankful for their quick and reliable COVID-19 testing. Very sanitary clinic with great staff.
Took an hour and a half to get Covid test and I had an appointment. When I asked if I could pick up meds immediately they said yes and were wrong. Have to come back all the way across town now.
The Nurse Practitioner and Staff were all great. It was an easy process to reserve online and then check in upon arrival. The facility was very clean.
I really like this place! I went in Tuesday morning shortly after they opened. My wait wasn’t long even with people ahead of me. The staff are really friendly and try to make things as comfortable as possible.
The gentleman at the front desk is rude and condescending. This is the second time we’ve been in there and dealt with him. First time I assumed it was just a bad day, but now after dealing with him a second time, I realized he must just hate his job. We will not be going back.
Everyone I encountered was friendly and professional. I really appreciate how the staff wheeled me to and from my car -- I was in a lot of pain. Bravo!
Fantastic service and they were very fast. This is by far my favorite urgent care clinic. The staff was very kind and helpful.
Always fast, knowledgeable and kind!
Got in quicker, the staff was courteous, friendly, and professional. I will be back when its necessary!!
No wait, professional staff, well taken care of during my visit
Doctors and nurses are very kind. Was helped in a prompt manner. They were very careful amidst COVID going on. Would highly recommend.
Short wait time. Medical professionals worked as a team. Very professional service.
Great staff and service, helped me feel better and I’m very grateful to them.
Very efficient care. The staff are very kind and compassionate. I was given very good care.
Very good experience. .Immediste and excellent care by physician and nurses.
Staff was courteous, polite and professional, service was prompt , physician was helpful- overall excellent experience
Knowledgeable and compassionate staff, easy to make appt, pristine facility
The place will bait and switch you. They say they take your insurance, but when you get a covid test they will never bill insurance they make you pay cash!
Nice people, good care and quick help! Great experience!
Appreciated the detailed review of my issue and the approach to help me recover.
Kevin was warm and helpful and the NP who stitched me up was very professional and kind.
Great and very polite staff !! Will definitely come back when I need a doctor and cant get into my primary doctor. You guys rock !!!
Excellent from the staff to the provider. Wish this location was closer to my house. Will absolutely go back.
Very nice, professional, and fast. This is my second time at this facility and have had good experiences both times.
Easy check in website, quickest urgent care visit ever. Nice, friendly staff. Everything was new and clean.
Friendly staff & clean clinic. Always prefer this Edmond urgent care facility.
Caring and efficient. What more can you ask for especially when you arent feeling well?
