Maria Diaz here is one of THE BEST medical professionals I’ve ever been treated by. Over the years I’ve referred at least a half dozen other women to Maria and the Women’s Medical Group; and they tell me they are very, very happy to finally find someone like Diaz and the rest of the staff. I feel very lucky to have found them.
Needed to speak with my doctor last December and the office refused to leave my urgent message with her until she returned from time off. I ended up relying on my Primary instead -- it was a very scary time. 10 months later, my pharmacy cannot even refill my birth control until they hear back from the same doctor. Even before the pandemic, they were impossible to get ahold of. I really loved my doctor but the insecurity and rejection is not worth it.
I am so sad to say that since the retirement of the wonderful Dr. Marki Knox, this office is a shadow of its former self. I had a strange bit of spotting at age 65 and thought it necessary to get in to see someone quickly. They have a doctor, but she was not available, so I saw NP Valerie, who didn’t bother to look at my chart, didn’t examine me. I had to ASK her to look at my chart. After speculating about my hormone levels without even testing them, she sent me for a “pelvic ultrasound” without even describing the procedure. It was not a simple ultrasound! It was a grueling 2 hour process of drinking a very large amount of water, then ultrasound, then an invasive and very uncomfortable “vaginal exam”. I should have been WARNED. I’m so disappointed and I will never trust my gynecological health to these folks ever again.
Doesn’t matter what their business hours are no matter when I call no one answers. No voice mail. No email. No way to contact the doctor. No way to make an appointment. I’ve been calling DURING REGULAR OFFICE HOURS for days on end and they do not answer their phones!! I can at 8:45 am, again at 10:44am and again at 1:38. All I get is an automated message. Why have a business? What lost operating hours? What is the point? This is totally infuriating and unprofessional. If it weren’t for nurse practitioner Maria diaz is would never give them my business. The office manager doesn’t give a hoot.
This clinic has major front office and billing issues. See yelp for the full extent. Wish I would have listened to these women and not wasted my time here. The doctors here are decent but they need to fix their customer service ASAP.
Womens Medical Group has top-notch doctors, nurse practioners and front office staff. Over the course of 37 years, they have again and again gone above and beyond for me.
Not sure why there are negative reviews complaining about the front office. I have been going for years and never had an issue. Always find them helpful & polite both when I call and in person.
