Dr Marshall and Brandy Bell are literally the best. Not only is Dr Marshall one of the best doctors I know but she is compassionate, smart, and friendly.Brandy Bell is also one of the most hardworking, compassionate souls. She worked so hard for me in a frantic situation. These women are amazing and I couldnt be more thankful to have them on my health care team! Thanks again!!
Unorganized and outdated.Notes during appointments are taken on the back of a Covid questionnaire filled in at check-in. I’ve been asked what my height is multiple times (that hasn’t changed in years). Nurse and doctor got my gestation wrong during a pregnancy check-up. It’s as if there’s no electronic record for a patient. And if there is, it’s not being reviewed before the appointment.Almost all of my appointments have been moved to a different time on a few hours notice or no notice at all. In one instance, I only received an appointment reminder via email with a different time. Another instance, I was called and told I needed to move my 37 week pregnancy appointment just 2 hours beforehand. They have no problem changing appointment times and they also have no problem making you wait 45+ minutes past your scheduled appointment before you see a doctor.Specifically regarding Dr Jennifer Guggenheim… I was told I needed to be induced unexpectedly by a different doctor while she was out of the office. Had my baby that weekend. Dr Guggenheim never once checked in afterwards. I was still in the hospital adjacent to the office when she would’ve been in the following Monday. I understand these doctors are incredibly busy but a 2 min phone call or even message in the patient portal would go a long way.Getting my 6 week postpartum check-up done and then finding a new office and doctor!EDIT: When I was on the phone to schedule my 6 week appointment, I asked to see the doctor that delivered my baby. I was told that was fine. Then to my surprise I still ended up seeing Dr. Guggenheim.
LOVE my doctor, hate the office. I have been a patient here for over 5 years. In the course of those five years, the clinic has been sold or taken over by different management more times than I can remember. In the first year, I had monthly visits where I was constantly asked to re-fill paperwork and provide insurance/ID information multiple times. Yet, this trend has continued to annual visits. “But wait,” you ask. “Did your insurance or address change during this time? Maybe that’s why the asked for so much paperwork.” Reader, no! Not even once. It really makes you wonder about their records management that they just….can’t access that information after each “sale” or “system update.” They’ve also made multiple errors, including once when they allowed another woman to be called back instead of me and also allowed me to wait over an hour (separate incidents). When asked about the latter, staff insisted I never checked in, which was obviously false because I filled out a mountain of paperwork and turned it in. Previously, they used to demand urine samples for ALL patients at every appointment. Thankfully, they have desisted with this. Now, they have you fill out a COVID questionnaire before each appointment, which is fine— it’s a doctor’s office, after all— but it’s just a piece of paper to them and not at all safety related, since I sat in the waiting room for ten minutes today listening to another visitor hack up a lung. At no point was this person asked to wait outside or even wear a mask. I’ve complained about all this multiple times to no avail— in fact, I get nothing but attitude from staff, no matter how kind I am.That said, I LOVE my doctor. She has been an incredible advocate for me, follows up on any concerns promptly, including mental health issues, and makes me feel like she actually cares about me and my life at each appointment I love her and the minute she moves to another practice, I’m gone. I’d follow her into battle and go to the ends of the earth for her— or at least drive across town to see her for my annual. All the providers here are kind and thorough, which is what saves this review from being a 1-star.
I am seriously considering dropping this doctor because of the office’s scheduling practices. Dr. Ferrara is great but I’ve had an appointment booked and canceled on short notice too many times. When they called to cancel me the week of my appointment the next date they could offer me was a month away. I have no idea what the backend of healthcare scheduling is like, but how does a patient get scheduled for a routine physical on the same day that a doctor is on call and can’t take appointments?Other reviews lead me to believe that this is a common issue! Most people have to book doctors appointments around work schedules or on days off, and I can’t trust that this office will make the time for me if I make the time for them.I would only recommend this office if you have a flexible work schedule.
Zero stars if I could. Moved here earlier this year. Made an appointment for my annual and have them refill my birth control in July. It’s now September and I go to refill it for the first time and then never called it in and refuse to do so. The lack of professionalism and accountability here is insane. Go ANYWHERE ELSE.
This practice was recently acquired, and the transition has been infuriating. My wife keeps receiving an invalid invoice from the previous billing platform. They call, email, text, and even send paper mail for an invoice that doesnt actually exist anymore. I called and spoke with the office 2 months ago, and they said, the practice manager is working on it.We are still inundated with the notifications to pay a late bill. We dont want or need the stress of some phantom bill haunting us in perpetuity.*Edit 7/12/24Just called the office to hopefully have my message relayed to the practice manager. This is the second time Ive had to leave a message for this person, so well see if anything actually changes.
Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Mile High. All of the issues I experienced made me switch providers.1. At the first appt multiple doctors were running 1 hr + late2. Dr was super brief during my appt even though I may have required a follow up surgery.3. Required a follow up surgery, tried to schedule with the office and they scheduled for the wrong surgery (in office vs hospital) only to realize it after I called them multiple times asking to speak to a nurse or doctor about the surgery scheduled in 2 days4. Never received a call from the nurse or doctor regarding next steps on the required hospital surgery5. Never received a call as promised to schedule the hospital surgery6. There are only a few hours during the day where you can actually talk with someone on the phone
Erin is an amazing Dr. I felt very comfortable through my entire visit. They are very fast and she gave me a lot of information. She is a great Dr and the staff was very friendly
Ive had 2 appointments there and both were bad experiences. the first visit the aide asked if i would allow a male medical student in the room and i said no. i understand students need to learn as I am one myself but I was not comfortable. he came in anyways and he asked me himself if he could say, i was too nervous to say no to his face. i had a blood draw and the phlebotomy was some of the worst ive experienced, and i used to get blood drawn monthly with no problems at all. i almost passed out this time and had to stay longer to make sure i didnt. the second appt was an ultrasound, the tech was rude right off the bat, and it was an internal ultrasound which i was not made aware of in advance so it was an unwelcome surprise. she also gave me nothing to clean myself up after my appointment so i used the pad on the chair. I will not be going back.
This doctors office was the greatest!! I have had to schedule 2 separate appointments because my so-called doctor didnt see me! One the 22nd at 2:30p.m. and one 31st at 10:15a.m. of May. Both of these appointments were annual checkups. The 22nd appointment I was in the waiting room. Todays 31st appointment I go back into the room to hopefully get seen. WRONG I am in the room for a flipping hour and no doctor. My ride with Medicaid calls and says theyll be there by 11:30a.m. I walk out of the room and tell the lady who took me back to the room that my ride is here and I am finding a new doctor since Dr. Erin Ferrara is too busy sitting in her office and not doing what she is supposed to do.
I had my first appointment today and I felt heard for the first time in a long time with a doctor. I went to see Dr Linhorst and she is beyond fantastic. She listened to all of my recent experiences and came up with a plan of action that made me feel like she really got what I was going through. I cannot recommend her enough and I will keep this review updated for sure.Update April 4, 2024Removed a star and will continue to do so each month until the staff returns my call and schedules my hysterectomy - or I run out of stars. I cancelled a trip for my moms 70th birthday to do this surgery ASAP and now I cant get the surgery scheduled. Might have to miss a work trip as well because of this delay. I love the doctor so much but I am so frustrated at my inability to get this surgery scheduled.TimelineMarch 12 - Doctor said someone would call to scheduleMarch 20 - Called the office and was put on hold for 20 mins, no one answered.March 21 - Left a message with my doctor through the portal, not answeredMarch 28 - Called the office to ask again, got the person who does the scheduling and rather than scheduling was told I will call you next week and that they are understaffedApril 3 - Called the office, got the answering service and left a messageApril 4 - Called the office, got the answering service and left a message
Loved the medical assistants. They were the only ones in the office with professional. The provider I saw Dr Kayla I believe her name was. Very non personable and very stand offish m questions were not answered nor acknowledged. Not to mention the front desk receptionist has no comprehension of respect no professionalism. Hopefully this will change as I do believe they have potential to be great since they have great medical assistants.
I recently needed to receive care and have a surgery. That also included visits to the infusion center. Every person I have come in contact with at Mile High OBGYN has been wonderful to me. Im so grateful for Dr. Lindhorst and her team. She really showed how much she cares about her patients. I always felt that I could trust her. Side note, I also delivered my baby at Rose 15 years ago. The team at Mile High OBGYN was wonderful then and still are.
I’m re-writing my review because I got the review for the wrong office mixed up with the OBX office across the street! This place is actually amazing and very clean. All the ladies I spoke with and interacted with were very kind & wonderful. I love this office! I’ve had a great experience here so far and I recommend to new patients or anyone looking for a new OB office. Thank you ladies I greatly appreciate you all. 💖
Always have wonderful appointments!! Amazing experience everytime with the staff and the OB. Dr Jennifer Linhorst is one of the absolute best!! Always attentive, understanding, compassionate and caring. Love this office and absolutely recommend to people of all ages. Wonderful practice and location
Had to switch doctors due to us moving. I have some health problems that cause me to be so uncomfortable at times and just wanted to be heard and have a second opinion. I found that here with Dr. Erin Ferrara. Only seen her twice in 2 weeks and shes listened to me and is helping me get the results I ultimately want and need to continue a healthy life. Not to mention her MA Natalie is freaking amazing as well. Always asking how Im feeling and really just listening as well. This is an amazing place and I look forward to using Dr. Erin for as long as I can.
Getting medical records from them is impossible. Its tough to deal with their support staff. Switched providers. I had to really dig and ask questions to get any information. Appointments were rushed. They misspelled my name differently in several places.
I googled womens doctors since I am fairly new to the Denver area.Mile High OBGYN Associates popped up. Since I dont live very far away from their Englewood office, I called and scheduled an appointment. When I was there I had to take a urine test. They informed me that the results would take anywhere from 7-10 business days to get back. I waited about a week and a half and didnt hear anything from them.I finally decided to call the office to see if my results were in and what the hold-up was.I was told that the results werent in yet. But the office would still give me a call by the end of that business day.I never received a phone call by the end of that same day.I decided to call back a few days later to see if the results were in.Altogether the experience was not a good one, nor professional.I would not recommend friend(s) to go there. The office really needs to have better follow-up with their patients.
I have been attending Mile High OBGYN since 2020 - and I will never go back. I have watched it go downhill over the last few years and during this pregnancy I switched at 16 weeks - they havent even noticed. They were fine when I was just going for preventative care. But once we got pregnant, it changed. I have never felt more like a number. We got pregnant in March of 2023. However, in June we miscarried right at the end of our first trimester. We were shocked and heartbroken. When I was scheduled for the procedure to handle the miscarriage, they didn’t even run it by my insurance so we got a $21,000 BILL, not claim. Thankfully we caught it and I called our insurance, went to the Mile High Billing department, and had them submit it correctly.Anyway, we got pregnant again later in the summer and went in for our 8 week appointment in September. Dr. Linhorst came in and asked if I had ever been there before. Had she not looked at the chart? Im sorry I dont expect them to remember a patient, but at least pretend to remember me. Look at the chart before coming in, see the miscarriage, and at least pretend to remember us and what we went through.Anyway, we found out with this pregnancy that I have a subchorionic hemorrhage - so I will bleed a lot if I lift or do anything too strenuous. This wasnt great for anyone, let alone someone who recently miscarried. My anxiety was through the roof. I tried to not bother the office and only call if necessary. They said if Im bleeding more than usual to call. One day I was - I called and called and called. No answer. This was in the morning. Finally I get through and I beg them to let me come in just to do a fetal heartbeat or a quick sonogram just to check. They refused and said I had to go to the ER. With this condition I can’t go to the ER every time they don’t want to fit me in.At my 12 week appointment they had me listed at 20 weeks - they never changed it. It still says 20 weeks on my online portal. They needed to draw blood, and they took me back to this little room and handed me off to the lab tech. She didnt verify my name, ask me any questions - there were blood samples in vials that could easily get mixed up, but she still didnt ask any questions. She drew my blood, and put the sample in a bin with another vial from someone else. I had to ask her arent you going to ask my name to put the correct label on? She said it was fine and then walked out of the room. I got out of there as quickly as possible.Another appointment they mixed up me and another patient up - our vitals and everything were confused and they were inputting my vitals to the other patients chart and vice versa.Scheduling was a whole other ordeal. The receptionist was so rude constantly and told us we couldn’t schedule our appointments more than a month in advance. She actually said to us she couldn’t pull up the next month on her calendar. Our sonograms were rescheduled many times, and they just seemed to not have a handle on it.I recently have switched practices - and let me tell you - it is AMAZING. Anytime I’m bleeding more than usual, or even have a bad feeling of anxiety, they fit me in so easily and check to make sure everything is okay. They also scheduled my appointments out all the way until my due date - they remember me every time and they remember my husband. I don’t feel like number here I feel like an actual patient that they care about. I never felt that way at Mile High OBGYN.Lastly, Mile High didn’t know I switched practices at 16 weeks - and they still haven’t called to check in to see how I’m doing or schedule my next appointment during my pregnancy. They don’t care about their patients anymore, they are unorganized, and we are just a number to them. I highly recommend you go somewhere else. It has been constantly something, and as a first time mom - we deserve to feel like our doctors care, we shouldn’t feel like an inconvenience to their staff and a burden. It is scary becoming a mom, and we deserve the best care. Mile High is not that.
I have been going to Mile High OBGYN for 4 years. Honestly, I have not been particularly impressed or happy with the care I have received, but because they know my medical history I have continued going. Until now. I’ve called 3 times and left 3 messages over the last 3 weeks to schedule my annual appointment. Not a single call back to schedule. I guess it’s not that critical or important to them since I’m not pregnant? Good riddance Mile High OBGYN. Not sad about saying goodbye to a mediocre practice with horrendous management.
I established care with Mile High prior to getting pregnant via IVF. My experience in January 2023 was fine. They had easy online scheduling, the appointment was on time, the doctor spent time talking with me and answering questions. After graduating from my fertility clinic in April, I made a 10 week appointment with Mile High in May 2023. At this point, they had gotten rid of online scheduling and it took me approximately 30 minutes to make an appointment via phone. I first had an ultrasound appointment then an appointment with the doctor. Both appointments were on time but my appointment with the doctor was less than ideal.Dr. Marshall was fine but the staff were completely inadequate. Two medical assistants attempted to draw my blood for over 10 minutes. I eventually asked them to stop their attempts as it was making me incredibly uncomfortable. I have had my blood drawn weekly for IVF for almost a year and never once had an issue. Additionally, one medical assistant badgered me for not finding out the gender of our baby. They had me give a urine sample and when I opened the door, there were 6 urine samples already in the holding area. It was a hot day outside that day but the office still had its heat on which added to the stress of this situation.I was so upset at the end of my appointment that I left without scheduling another one. I messaged Dr. Marshall about my experience. She responded quickly and was apologetic. I decided to give Mile High one more chance and called to make an appointment. After being on hold for almost 30 minutes, I was told they could not see me for 7 weeks, which was unacceptable to me for prenatal care. I made the appointment and asked to be put on a cancellation list. I followed up a few days later and was informed management hasnt decided to open up additional appointments which indicates to me that appointments were available but being held. I was eventually called that the appointments had been opened up but I had already established care elsewhere. At my new office, they answer the phones right away and there isnt a pile of urine samples left in the bathrooms for patients to interact. This office is in significant need of hiring new, competent office and medical staff and upgrading their space to fit patient needs. I am glad I established alternate care because I dont think I could have dealt with their incompetency and inefficiency for my pregnancy.
I was a prenatal patient before switching out due to the impersonal staff, difficulty getting in touch with the practice, and inability to get timely information. As Ive been switching care to another provider, it has been extremely difficult to get a call back or speak to anyone at Mile High in regards to billing or medical records. I also chose Mile High as they promote the fact that midwives are available but I quickly learned that they are only on-call during business hours, Monday through Friday.Additionally, you do not get the opportunity to develop a personal connection with a provider as they switch your doctor for each appointment. The practice is unfortunately not well-run and when going through a pregnancy, you want to be able to reach a staff member quickly.
Laura Sweeney is the absolute best! I transferred care to Rose midwifery at 30 weeks and she made a stressful situation very easy and comfortable! Always spent time answering my questions and addressing concerns! All the medical assistants that check you in and the receptionist, Sunny, were all so sweet and nice! I would recommend anyone see Laura and deliver at Rose! I ended up having a c section and Laura was right there with my husband and I in the room talking us through everything. The labor and delivery unit was great too! All the nurses were beyond nice and everyone went above and beyond to make me comfortable!
I cannot say enough great things about Laura Sweeney, CNM at Mile High OB/GYN. She took care of me throughout my pregnancy and delivered my second baby with the utmost compassion and kindness. It was very clear to me that she has been delivering babies for a long time. She actually listened to my wants and needs throughout pregnancy and delivery, stayed late to deliver my baby herself, and I was in incredibly capable hands throughout the entire process. If you’re looking for a wonderful midwife who is truly great at her job, look no further!
They are the best. I’ve had all of my babies through them. Rose hospital and mile high are the best care around.
My experience with Mile High OBGYN as always been pleasant. I delivered two of my babies with this practice. Dr.Guggenheim and Laura Sweeney are really amazing providers. They allow access through the patient portal that allows me to be able to get in contact with my providers and medical assistant. And I always get a response in a timely manner through the patient portal. Their staff is polite and caring. I highly recommend this clinic.
This place has great providers, but they now seem to have more patients then they have the capacity to handle. Every time we call now, we have to wait in a queue behind 8+ other people, a change from 5 years ago when we we had our first child.During the birth of our 2nd child, the provider never even made it for the delivery. In fact, we didn’t see the provider until almost 2 days after the birth yet they still billed our insurance for the full delivery. Seems almost fraudulent.ADDENDUM: Third birth went well and I think most their providers are great. However, their business side of things is abysmal. Scheduling is terrible and communication is painful. We were scheduled with a midwife at one point because no OB was available. The midwife ended up being out of network and cost more than an OB and we had to foot the bill. Worst of all, we weren’t sent a bill for this until nine months later in the next calendar year so we couldn’t even use our FSA.Save yourself the pain and find a new practice.
This was the worst experience I’ve had at a women’s clinic. The front desk woman was EXTREMELY rude, disrespectful and dismissive. My husband and I waited around an hour total to be seen by a OB/GYN. The nurse or “medical assistant” assigned to me was not warm at all. She did not make me feel comfortable and was extremely condescending. I did not feel taken care of. This clinic is also extremely disorganized. They had canceled my original appointment the night prior due to short staffing, and changed the day/time of the second appointment again. Please avoid this clinic if you can. Im unsure how they have other positive reviews. There is no way that I will be coming back and allowing the individuals at this clinic to handle me and my baby’s care. If I could give zero stars I would.
I tried to get an appointment here, as a new patient. When I needed to reschedule, they had to move it 2 months out and were not helpful at all. The woman on the call told me I should go back to my old doctor. I asked if she thought that was best, and she said yes. Will not try again with these people. Also, their phone system is crazy difficult to work with, and you cant actually reach anyone. Also, if you look at the most recent reviews, it sounds like there are a bunch of issues youll want to read about. Does not sound like a very safe place, or that theyre easy to work with.Update: Its been a month. Their phone system still doesnt work, and the text message will not respond.
My review is regarding the billing department and not the physician themselves. As you are expected to prepay the deliver, we did so. The billing was sent to insurance after the hospital and my out of pocket max was met prior to mile high sending their billing. Its now been almost 4 months since deliver and get my prepayment refunded has been near impossible. Multiple calls and verifications with insurance and my refund has still not occured. The fact that a client is to expect 5 to 10 business days for a billing manager to return a call, is unacceptable.
Id typically rate Mile High ob as four or five stars, because most of the providers are kind and helpful. They were great throughout my first pregnancy and childbirth. However, wait times are really long for appointments and it takes forever getting through on the phone for assistance, to schedule, ask a question, or even get help during an emergency. When my water broke and I requested urgent assistance, I was even put on hold for 45 minutes before a provider answered! I also had issues with billing. I think theyre working on improving an online portal and text scheduling, but that has yet to work for me. I strongly recommend they get a new system for scheduling and getting messages to providers, because Im considering switching providers.
I went to several different offices, trying to find the right care team and Mile High OB/Gyn midwives were the first to make me feel cared for as a person and patient, and not just a number. I’m so grateful that I had such wonderful care through my pregnancy and birth and I couldn’t recommend Mallory more!
I am disappointed by my recent experience with Mile High OBGyn. I have been a patient at this clinic for several years, and was planning on using them for care throughout my pregnancy. I scheduled my first prenatal appointment right when I found out I was pregnant, and I could not get in for 8 weeks. Exactly 24 hours before my appointment, the clinic called me and stated they were canceling my appointment noting, “we don’t have it in a correct spot for your first OB visit and… your gestational age is just a little early to bring you in for an ultrasound.” I have received no prenatal care at this point, and am nearly 13 weeks pregnant, so was entirely confused by being too early for an ultrasound, and being in the incorrect spot (whatever that means). This was a clinic error that should have been resolved much earlier, and instead felt abandoning and negligent 24 hours prior to my appointment. I called the clinic right after receiving this message, and was on hold for over 30 minutes. When I finally spoke to someone, she informed me she would have someone get back to me as soon as possible. However, no one returned my call. Thus, I was left without an appointment and scrambling to find care less than a day before the appointment that I had scheduled for two months. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer be using their services. I truly hope this never happens to someone else.
Terrible experience as a new patient. Very unimpressed with front desk assistance and support. It took 21 minutes to get through to a receptionist and then an absolute nightmare to figure out how I could book with them and work with my insurance.I was able to find much better care looking at Rose Medical Center and finding a provider at another practice through them.
I have been a regular patient at Mile High OBGYN for a while now. I have recently decided to switch because of how terribly the office is now run. It is almost impossible to get a hold of any one at the office and they moved my appointment several times due to their own scheduling conflicts. I used to have such a pleasant experience here, but it is just not worth this headache anymore.
First off Dr. Linhorst is absolutely incredible. I have been bounced around to 3 different OBGYNs in the past 6 months (1 retired and 1 is changing practices) and I couldnt be happier to have finally found one (Dr. Linhorst) who I would like to stay with long term and deliver my children. My husband came with me to the appointment and he also had nothing but positive to say about our visit with her. She is attentive, very thorough and explains things in details, answers all the crazy questions you may have and absolutely knows her stuff. She also took the time to write down medications and things for me to look into/research on my own also which I really appreciated. My only complaint and reason for 4 stars is that when trying to get ahold of this office you can expect to be on hold anywhere from 20-40 minutes until you get to even speak to the receptionist. Once you finally do get to speak to the receptionist, theyve personally been helpful for me its just frustrating being on hold that long. Maybe look into hiring another receptionist so the wait times arent so long.
Horrible Horrible experience for my daughter. Dr Parks was so uncompassionate, and had no Empathy. Was very rude. To make a long story short My daughter was told she had a molar pregnancy, then had to have surgery, my daughter was crying and trying to process all this. Dr keep asking her what she wanted to do surgery or pill to get rid of pregnancy. Didnt care she was crying. acted like it was a problem to do the surgery on surgery day. Dr never came came back to talk to me or my daughter after the surgery, like all doctors do. At post appointment doctor never came back to the room when nurse went to get her to answer more questions. left us very confused because we were told it wasnt a molor pregnancy after being told it was. She made us feel like we were wasting her time. Is horrible horrible experience. I would not recommend this doctor I dont know how the other doctors are but not this one.
The office staff was nice, but the Doctor was horrible. My daughter was at the beginning of her pregnancy. Her 1st ultrasound, dr said it looks like to soon to see baby. Must of got dates wrong. Come back in 2 weeks. Also did blood work. Blood work came back she was 5 weeks. Then the 2nd ultrasound after waiting 2 noweeks, came back and Doctor said she had a molar pregnancy. She was very uncompassionate. My daughter was crying and she said, so I can give you a pill to get rid of it or do surgery so we can see what went wrong. My daughter did the surgery. Day of the surgery dr comes in very short with her. Asked if she had any questions. She acted as if it was a bother to do the surgery. After the surgery, my daughter or me never saw the doctor again. She never came out to tell how the surgery went or anything. Post check up. She then told my daughter it wasnt a molor pregnancy, the baby just died. Then she went to write a prescription for my daughter. We set there waiting, and then the nurse came in and said the dr called it in to the pharmacy. My daughter said she had more questions for the dr , so the nurse went to go get dr . The nurse came back and said Doctor was in another room. We could call her. But at this office you cant talk to a doctor it is all through texts on the portal. The dr was very rude uncompassionate and had no Empathy, I dont know how the other Doctors are but Dr parks was the worst. Horrible experience 😪
I see Dr. Ferrara at Mile High. I have endometriosis and I feel so seen by her and the rest of the staff. They are quick to respond to outreach and trust I know what is going on with my body.
If I could rate this practice a 0, I would. If you have a choice, do not come here. I am 19 weeks pregnant and I am changing doctors. Scheduling is a nightmare. They will cancel/reschedule your appointment or change your doctor without notifying you. You cannot get through to them on the phone- I have had to drive there in order to speak to someone. Every doctor I met with was very unpersonable and rushed me through my appointment. For a first time mom, this is not the experience I was looking for with my doctor. I have talked to multiple other patients in the waiting room who have had the same disappointing experience. Steer clear of this place.Edit. After your review below, I tried to call again the last two days. No response. No answer.
I’ve been going to this practice for over a decade but sadly I will be seeking out a new OBGYN elsewhere. When my original OB left the practice I started seeing Dr. Goodman and had been his patient for many years. When he finally decided to retire, the office made no attempt to inform me of this prior to or when I scheduled the appointment. Instead I was informed when I arrived to the new office for my appointment and they just transferred me over to a new provider, Jennifer Linhorst. I really didn’t like her very forward and what felt like a pushy approach compared to the care I had always received from Dr. Goodman.
Awful!!!!!! my favorite OB/GYN, unfortunately retired so I had to find a new provider. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with an OB/GYN. The provider I saw seemed, rushed frazzled, and truly did not care about my situation and told me to just go ahead and schedule whatever procedure I felt was good. Not only was I felt lost trying to decide which procedure would be better. I can’t even get through to the scheduling line or have anyone call me back to get a procedure scheduled, and I cannot get through the phone lines to get lab results that I had taken three weeks ago. Hopefully if you are pregnant, there is a secret number or way that you can contact people to get scheduled when you need something because apparently, if you’re not pregnant, you can’t talk to anyone or get any of your results.
Had such an amazing experience with everyone at Mile High. The ultrasound tech, Andy and Dr. Ferrara made all of my visits so comfortable and helped me to understand what is going on with my body! 10/10 recommend
I have had a previous child with Rose Midwifery. The experience was phenomenal. Prompt service and sincerity. I am currently a patient with my second child, and lets just say I wouldnt be back for a third! Service and sincerity has completely left the building! If its an emergency go into the hospital. Youll have a better experience and get the answers you seek! Dont bother calling. They dont answer the phone in under 20 minutes. It has let me down as a mother and returning patient! No recommendation here!
Ive seen Dr.Goodman and was so happy to find him wished I would have found him years ago! He referred me to Dr. Long for surgery I just new if he referred me to her, she would be great I feltconfident in his decision. They are very nice and easy to talk with .They take their time explaining things In a way that you can understand what theyre talking about , making sure all your questions are answered. something important to me is not feeling rushed they do a great job of taking their time with each person. Also a pleasant atmosphere. So happy my Dr. Referred me there.
Dr. Erin Ferrara is the best doctor! I adore her, she makes me feel so comfortable!! Ive seen so many Doc and I will be sticking with her!!
My last appointment I waited 45min past my appointment time for a physician before I left. They cancelled my 20 week ultrasound and physician appointment the night before. That means I have seen a Dr, my baby or a heartbeat in 8 weeks. This also means no gender or anatomy scan. Unprofessional and I feel as though my health and my baby’s means nothing. Highly disappointed and will be looking for a new OBGYN office.
Went in to meet Dr. Reid Goodman and he scheduled me immediately for a LEEP a week later. Was so thankful he was able to take me so soon since I had another place cancel on me day of my appointment that I waited a month for. He explained everything thoroughly and was very professional. The procedure itself took about 5-10 minutes, and they made me feel very comfortable during. Everyone was quick. professional, organized and friendly.
Terrible communication, dont answer the phone, dont call you back, they missed a video dr with no acknowledgment or reason why. Apparently they are to not concerned with high risk pregnancy issues. They offered no solutions. Seems they ran when things start hard. An ER doctor couldnt even get in touch with them.
Im already feeling defeated on trying to find this place. I called , the front desk girl had no idea how to tell me how to get there. I walk in 6 mins late going from floor to floor. I walk in and the front desk girl tells me she was just about to call me to tell me they dont take my insurance. My appointment was at 10 and it was 10:06. They couldnt of called me before my appointment to tell me this. Im obviously frustrated and as Im walking out the lady yells at me to have a good day in a very rude way. That was unnecessary to me to have done that when Im already feeling down about all what I just went through to get there. I would strongly suggest them to get a better front desk employee. Someone that is more understanding not rude and maybe dressed a little better. She appeared to be hungover and or not very put together. Not trying to be mean just wasnt the best feeling even walking in. Really feeling down from this experience.
LONG POST BUT WORTH IT IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THEM FOR CARE:My experience was an ABSOLUTE nightmare! The office is horrible with paperwork and do not listen to your needs. I asked for them to test my progesterone levels because my intuition was telling me something was not right after I experienced some bleeding. When they called me to give me results for the tests they requested I asked about my progesterone test I requested and they told me they didn’t see it and would have to call me back. When they called me back the technician just said it was within normal limits and that was it. At my next appointment I mentioned the test to the midwife I was seeing for that appointment and she had no record of the test happening. Fast forward a month later my water broke and I went to their ER. They said I was not allowed to go to the baby side because I was only 18 weeks. After waiting hours to be seen they insisted on doing a vaginal exam to see if that was my water that broke or not. The technician or whoever she was swabbed me at least 5 different times and two of those times she did not use a sterile swab, I saw her just pull it from a box. To add to that her bedside manner was horrible as well as the nurse assisting her they were just having casual conversation like what I was experiencing was not important. After losing my baby they tested my placenta and it was infected. Once your water breaks infections are easy to get. Because of the negligence I experienced during my prenatal appointments and the lack of care to make sure to use sterile swabs at the ER I’ll never know if that was why I lost my baby the next day. Due to my experience and the experience of others I know who are black with Medicaid to include them coercing you while in labor for unnecessary tests I can only assume those variables had something to do with my care and my outcome. This hospital is probably staying afloat due to the money they get from Medicaid that they do not deserve if they are going to treat those patients as less than. 6 months after losing my baby with her due date approaching I received a call from Rose to confirm my upcoming postpartum appointment I was extremely confused as to how there could be a disconnect when I lost my baby at their ER. Had I not been in a peaceful space about what had happened to me that could’ve sent me over the edge. You would think for such a sensitive subject more care would be taken into not making that type of mistake which speaks to the lack of care and attention to detail that office has. There are better places to receive care PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH and not be fooled by the fancy rooms, you’ll more than likely not get, and this image they put up that they care.I am not sharing this information to bash the hospital only sharing my experience and I want my story to be known so that maybe I can save someone the heartache I experienced
Worst experience with any doctor ever. The rooms are dirty, cluttered, broken ceiling tiles, and have piles of used equipment everywhere. There was even blood on the cabinets. I should have just walked out.
I had an appointment with Dr. Erin Dressel. She was kind and listened to my concerns. No issues with her - she’s a gem. However, several days after my visit, I received a call from a staff member to go over my lab results. The staff member told me I could access my results on the patient portal and that I would need to set up follow up appointments with my PCP. Great. I logged into my patient portal and nothing was there. This was 5 days ago. Every day since I have been calling the office for someone to help me. I’ve been on hold for as long as 35 minutes. No answer. Most of the time the call drops. Finally yesterday I got to speak to a human. She said she thinks there is a problem with my patient portal and that I can only view the billing section. But she would have to speak to her supervisor about it. Really? Just give me access to my own records. As of today, still no update. I keep receiving robo calls telling me my test results are ready. Yet no change on my patient portal. This means that I’m going to end up spending probably an hour on hold again until someone answers and will tell me that my supervisor will have to look at the issue. I don’t think this office cares for its patients - I’m just a number with an issue that they can’t seem to manage for some reason. I’m beyond frustrated. Again, Dr. Dressel is a great OB/GYN but the operations at Mile High OB/GYN are severely lacking when you cannot contact the office or speak to a person.
Both physicians I have seen at this practice have been great, and the things treated were a much better experience than other OBGYNs in the area. However, after contracting a bacterial infection in June, I have now returned twice for a test of cure and both samples have been incorrectly submitted to Labcorp, which will now cause me to return for a third time to provide a new sample. In addition to the frustration of multiple visits and being billed for the two samples that were refused by Labcorp, I have now been on hold for 45 minutes on 8/19 and am now at one hour and 29 minutes trying to reach someone today on 8/22. This is beyond frustrating as a patient, and has taken significant time out of my work schedule.Although I really like Dr. Marshall and Laura Sweeney, the time it takes to reach someone at this practice is laughable. I really wish their management team would make the much needed improvements, (shorter hold times, no mix ups with lab submissions, etc.), and I would gladly continue care with them.Working in healthcare, I can understand longer hold times and mix ups happening, but to bill me for tests that were never completed by Labcorp due to their mistake, and sitting on hold for two hours within two days, I think I need to find a new provider.
I delivered my children at Rose. I chose Rose again because of last experience with Laura. She helped me go through difficult situation at delivery a few years ago. Not only deliver my baby but also took care of me emotionally. So I have decided to come back Rose if I get pregnant again. This year, I came back to Rose because of her even though I live far than before. I trust her professional work. I loved how she really care and support patient. If I ask questions, she answer honestly and explain very well.
Fantastic care and service! I had a 1st trimester miscarriage and needed a D&C unfortunately. They fit me in within just 3 days of confirming the news. The staff was lovely and totally on time for my appointment. Dr. Linhorst explained everything thoroughly and gave me a generous amount of pain and anxiety medication to make my procedure the most comfortable as it could be. She was swift and skilled and exceeded my expectations on how easy the procedure would go. I am barely bleeding today (the next day) and barely feel anything at all. I might take a couple ibuprofen but barely need it! I’m a medical doctor and am very particular about where I get my medical care. I recommend this practice for sure!
I love love this location!! I am a first time expecting mama and due in 8 weeks! The entire team from start to finish is so supportive and happy to see their clients. It makes me feel very welcome and supported!Cricket is my all time favorite encounter as she has been with me with my ultrasounds for the last 30 weeks! I love having our conversations and completely informative during each ultrasound. I personally request for her every time I got an ultrasound because she’s that amazing.I just got my 3D ultrasound and let me tell you! It was worth every dollar! ($100) I got to see my little panda and she captured amazing images of him in my womb.Love love this team and I am so excited to welcome my babe into this world and introduce him to the entire team
They’re great when you’re there but they’re disorganized and don’t do a good job at returning your phone calls they also forget to schedule appointments you literally make at the front desk and put the wrong days in when you do. Being on the journey of becoming a first time parent this has made me feel really uneasy in trusting me and my baby in their care during this experience. Maybe go somewhere more reliable.
Such amazing and prompt healthcare providers. I feel I am in great hands with this team and well listened to. I am about to have my first baby and I have had so many questions, concerns, and worries as a first time mom- and I always leave feeling more confident and calm after my appointments. The supporting staff is friendly and great as well.
Laura Sweeney should not be part of the practice anymore.Bed side manor is completely horrible. Questioned all my decisions when I was in labor and argued with me about everything I was choosing. She was so incredibly rude. She was asking me things like Do you even want to be a mother? Are you depressed? Do you want to die? All because I am a DNR. When I said I have been in enough codes as a CNA she LAUGHED at me and said I did not know what I was talking about. So rude that my mother had to step out of the room because she was so offended. I would rather never seek healthcare than have to deal with this woman ever again. She should not be employed as a midwife and she should not care for pregnant patients. Completely horrible. I hope she leaves the practice. Mile High OBGYN would be much better off with out her. I hope to God I am the only one that has experienced this because if she does this with other people it is completely unacceptable.
I had a OBGYN related problem and Dr. Linhorst and her staff were incredible! I went in and they were able to complete all needed tests while I was in the office. I really appreciate everyone’s kindness and professionalism.
(Im revising my previous review, which was actually a response to an office person person handling an appointment reschedule poorly. The office has apologized and took extra steps to correct the situation) Dr. Guggenheim is fabulous. Shes personable, knowledgeable, and began diagnosing and addressing my issue in the first appointment. Since I will be dealing with an ongoing issue, I am so happy I found her.
Staff is always friendly and the place always feels clean and welcoming! We also love all of the doctors here! In my five years as a patient I have had zero complaints with how things are run. Their promptness in responding to calls and after hours messages is a bonus too! Highly recommend this facility!
I went for Dr. Cindy Long and she was very nice, professional, warm and looked trustworthy. She explained what why and how questions I have without making me feel terrible because I don’t know those. (My previous doctor used a condescending way that I used feel almost guilty not knowing medical stuff) her bedside manners were so kind and assuring and her hands very very light that I didn’t even feel anything. Overall it was a very pleasant and I will continue to see her because I felt safe and understood. Also everything was very clean.
Dr Guggenheim was great. I felt safe & heard and everything was done in an efficient manner. No long wait time in the waiting room or waiting for the doc.
Welcoming and clean practice, everybody I spoke with from check-in through provider visit was kind and efficient. Easy to find/park. Dr. Marshall was professional and empathetic, taking the time to make sure I felt comfortable and all of my questions were answered. Thanks for creating such a patient friendly atmosphere!
Been to this office quite a few times so far and each time had its own issue. From losing test results & having to come back in to the dr being short and acting like my issues aren’t an issue.. all the way to the front desk lady having a stuck up attitude because she consistently doesn’t know how to do her job. If you don’t know how to be a secretary you should at least be kind to the patients. You gotta have either brains or heart, this lady has neither. I would avoid this place at all costs, go anywhere else
Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Laura Sweeney, CNM and the entire team at Midwifery at Rose. Laura offered me the perfect combination of clinical expertise, compassionate care and joint decision making for my entire pregnancy, labor & delivery and postpartum course. I am blessed to have been cared for by her!The rest of the support staff at the office always knew my name, remembered little details about me and made me feel so loved at a vulnerable time in my life. I would recommend anyone choose this practice to have their baby, what a great experience.
I had my first baby with Rose a week ago. I have loved every minute of my experience with them. I was told from early on that I would get one of their many midwives at delivery, so Im not sure why everyone is complaining about that. I lived by the Highlands office and had all of my prenatal visits there. Mostly I saw Jenny because she really clicked well with my boyfriend and I, but over the course of my pregnancy I probably saw a total of 5 midwives, each of which was caring, informative, gracious, kind and answered all of my first time mom questions with respect. During delivery I was taken care of by two different midwives (neither of which I had met before) as we were in labor through shift change. They were both wonderful. They were helpful, cautious with me, and encouraging. Sylvia was the midwife who actually delivered my daughter. She was incredible! I pushed for 2.5 hours and she was always upbeat, encouraging, and cheering me on. The support staff was amazing too, labor and delivery nurses, post pardon nurses, pediatricians, lactation consultant, even the staff delivering food! Sorry for the lengthy review, but I wanted to be specific about my experience since there are some not so nice reviews on here. If Im still in the area for my next child, I will definitely be going to Rose again!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I have left a message on June 5th, June 7th and then again today on June 13th for a follow up appointment with Dr Park for a medication I was put on and am having some side effects that need addressed immediately and nothing... No call back at all. Wait on hold for 10 mins just for the overflow answering service to answer due to high call volumes? So neglectful. Seriously contemplating turning them in for patient neglect and abandonment.
The worst customer service of any medical office in Denver. The doctors are great but its such a shame that youll never be able to see one because the practice is run terribly. Youll often find the phone off the hook for hours, youll spend your entire life on hold and you wont be able to get in for an appointment for 2+ months. Run away from this place!
Dr. Reid Goodman was wonderful! He was personable and kind. He has amazing bedside manor and he made the appointment feel like I was a long time client. I always get nervous going to a new Doctor however with him I was more relaxed than is typical for me.
I could not say that there is a better Doctors office then the one that I ended up at. During my pregnancy I have seen 2 doctors that I did not have the best experience with and and got to the point where Im 8 months pregnant and I could not get into any doctors offices because they said that it wasnt enough enough time. I just so happened to call midwifery at rose and they got me in right away right away. I was blown away by how nice they were to me and it and in fact I got to meet 3 of the midwives because because they just wanted to introduce themselves so I felt more comfortable.i could not be happier with my decision and Im scheduled to have my c section on Feb 3rd and I completely trust in my doctors 100%.. they are all amazing women! Im so grateful..
I’ve come here three times in the past few years. The first time I had a physical and it was the most painful experience. The other two times I came she talked to me like I was stupid about my preferences for birth control. Like I don’t know the consequences of my own actions (as an adult). I came in for help with my PCOS and was offered nothing. They didn’t offer to do an ultrasound, they didn’t offer advice, when I asked for advice the doctor looked at me like I was crazy. I was left to deal with my PCOS by myself in pain and confused on what to do. I’ve never felt more disrespected by a doctors office. Even my spouse agreed the doctor was rude.
My partner and I Came in trying to establish care. We waited a month to be able to see a provider. We were both excited and nervous. As soon as we arrived we were told I was going to need to give a urine sample. I asked for a cup of water , they called us in to a room and the nurse took vitals and asked a few questions. The doctor came in which was the most awkward experience that I have experienced with an OB. Provider was not personable and seemed like she could NOT get out of the room quick enough. I am usually not one to go out of my way to provide feedback but this was an exception because the experience was so awful and lack of empathy was not there and could care less about my needs as a patient. Being a part of LGBTQ+ community makes it very important for us to find a provider that will make us feel comfortable with our care and we picked this office because they were all about “inclusivity” on their website advertising, which we didn’t experience any of that level of care once we were at their office. Waste of time and money.
Prior to being acquired, Rose Midwifery was incredible. Loving, compassionate care. I delivered two babies with the midwives. Since being acquired everything has gone downhill. Unfriendly reception staff, terrible wait time, messy records. I recently waited so long for a scheduled appointment that I ended up having to leave unseen. It makes me really sad but I definitely don’t recommend this place.
I have worked with Dr. Goodman for a few years now, and he is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with! He is very kind and caring about what he does. He is really easy to talk to, and he always gets back to me quickly with any questions I may have. He has gone out of his way to help me with difficulties I have encountered, and has always helped me to get the issues resolved. His office staff is friendly and its easy to schedule with them. I would definitely recommend Dr. Goodman to anyone looking for a high quality doctor.
I have tried to hold off on writing a review and give time for things to be figured out, but after 12 days of the complete run around I am frustrated. I am a self pay patient and when I called and scheduled the initial prenatal appointment they told me my cost would be about $376 and would include meeting with a provider and an ultrasound to confirm the dating and viability of the pregnancy. When we met the provider she said she was not able to do the ultrasound (which my husband had taken the day off work to be there to see). We were super frustrated, but they were able to get us an afternoon appointment at another Rose office to have the ultrasound. Even though it ended up taking up almost the whole day (initial appointment at 9:30, ultrasound at 3:30, that didnt actually happen until 5:00) we were so excited to see our baby that we were trying to just stay positive. I still assumed the $376 included the ultrasound fee (why would I pay almost $400 to talk to a doctor for 20 minutes and have my blood pressure taken and weighed, which is ALL they did). When I arrived for the ultrasound they said that charge would be $715, which I refused to pay. After pulling up the list of charges online and presenting it to the billing department they reduced the charge to $286, which is still more than they have listed online. Since we had already wasted an entire day waiting around we did more forward with it. The ultrasound tech could not tell me much of what she saw, so I called the next morning to get our results. Of course, since the ultrasound was done in another office the nurse just read the report and could only give me vague information but requested I have another follow up ultrasound in 5 days. Of course I was freaking out, and did not want to go through this process again. A day after all this I decided to just go pick up my medical records and go elsewhere. When I picked up my records I spoke with the office manager who said the ultrasound was absolutely supposed to be included, and she also didnt understand why I was given the run around, and she said she would speak to her boss and refund some of the $376 charge. Here we are 10 days after that conversation and I have left her several messages and she is always out of the office or her boss is out of the office. Unless you just love people wasting your time, and being double charged for services, I highly recommend going ANYWHERE else. I moved to Bella, and I could have literally cried at how fantastic my experience was with them vs. Rose. The one positive in all the run around at Rose was Jim at the front desk at Radiology. When we told him what happened he was so understanding and did everything he could to make things right for us, but the same cant be said for the Midwife department at all.
Update: I’ve been seen at this office since I was 8 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I was told at 32 weeks pregnant that I would not be able to be seen at this office anymore because of a bill. No one called to inform me of this or even told me this when I made my appointment. I had to drive 30 minutes out of my way just to be told that I would not be seen at 32 weeks! I feel that it is very unethical for them to do this! Knowing that it is extremely hard to find another office to take me when I’m so far along in pregnancy! If this bill has been here since I was 8 weeks pregnant why would they wait till I’m 32 week pregnant to stop seeing me?? Luckily I found a office that has accepted me and I do not have to go back to this unethical place! The doctors are fine here I have no complaints about them but the woman in the office have no idea what they are doing! I would not recommend this place at all! We are in the middle of a pandemic and this office tried to put me in a very bad spot while I’m 32 weeks pregnant! When I asked about my records being given to me I was told “it’s a long wait time and depending on how many pages you may need to pay for them”. Very unacceptable! Stay away from this unethical place! My first appointment was great! I was very nervous about it but everyone was nice, friendly and was able to answer all the questions I had.
If you’re a new patient and you have medicaid, don’t even waste your time with these people. I’ve tried to get into this office for over a year now and they play dumb every time you try to call and set up a new appointment. I’ve sent my referral over more than 5 times, through TWO different offices and directly from me, and they just refuse to do their job to even LOOK for the referral. Extremely discouraging and infuriating that they are so helpless. It’s horrid how medicaid patients are treated. Thanks for showing me over and over again that I shouldn’t even trust you with my body. Do better.
I want to start by saying the two doctors I have worked with here are AMAZING! Dr. Vanlandingham (not there anymore) and Dr. Ring. They explained my diagnosis in a way I could understand and quickly got me on a treatment plan. What I think could use improvements on is the communication between office staff and the medical assistants. I was referred by my primary care doctor and Mile High OB/GYN did not receive any paperwork about a referral, they just thought I had come in for a annual check up even though when I called I said it was a referral. Also every time I went in for a follow-up they asked why I was there and when I called they always seemed confused as to why I was calling. I felt that there should be more documentation from phone calls and doctor visits so everyone I will be talking to can be on the same page.
I was a little nervous to go here after reading some not so nice reviews. I agree it is hard to get my messages returned and the person who answered the phone sounded less-than-thrilled to make an appointment for me. But once I arrived, the receptionist was very kind and welcoming. The medical assistant who did my vitals and got me all set to see the midwife was incredibly nice and took a genuine interest in the lives of my husband and I. And then we saw Adrienne, the midwife. She was so warm and approachable and really helped put our minds at ease about some worries we had regarding my pregnancy. I am looking forward to going back to see them next month for my well-woman exam!
I am a patient of Dr Goodman, he was referred to me as the best Doctor to help figure out my hormones. As he has been a doctor for over 30 years, he has really seen everything. After spending thousands in private practice and only having a few supplements I went to meet Dr Goodman. His front desk staff is sweet, helpful and worked diligently to make sure I could get an appointment, be prepared and ensure any and all questions are answered.Dr Goodman met me in his office and went through my years of history, thyroid issues, miscarriages and made sure to talk through any concern I had. He didnt rush me and he knew exactly what was wrong. He suggested we take some labs, continue my thyroid meds but for the first time in years I knew someone would help me. My labs came back and indicated a severe testosterone deficiency and he had a plan to help me. I cant tell you how relieved I was to not only have answers but a Doctor that wanted to help me find them.I have wasted so much money, time and energy on other Doctors and he really is far above the rest. When I have questions he takes time to call me and not send me to a staffer.I am so incredibly thankful to be at this practice, with Dr Goodman and in the care of his office staff. THEY ARE AMAZING.
I was well pleased with the experience I received at this office. I didnt have to wait very long for my appointment to begin. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. Dr Linhorst was very professional, listened to my concerns and friendly. I highly recommend Dr Linhorst if youre looking for a doctor that cares.
BEWARE! DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTORS OFFICE!!! Find someone else! I saw Dr. Linhorst, who was a great doctor, on 1/27/20 at Mile High OBGYN. However, that is the only positive thing I can say about this office. The receptionists are rude, uninformed, and not helpful to say the lease and their billing office in Longmont is a total joke.Oscar Insurance provided me this doctor/office as in-network and told that Women’s Wellness is covered 100%. Oscar provided me with a checklist of what is covered under Women’s Wellness, which I gave to the doctor and she made sure only to do what was on the list. I verified with the Mile High when I made the appointment, again when I came in for my appointment, and again with the doctor that they take Oscar and that they can use the right lab or it wouldn’t be covered. I was told by all, no problem. Once it was filed with Oscar, Mile High said oh no sorry we dont take Oscar and it is considered out of network so claim denied. I now have two bills one for $344 for doctor and $453 for labs which were received in late March after COVID hit. Mile High sent my tests to the wrong lab even thought I mentioned it to everyone prior to my appointment and was assured it would be no problem. AFTER I ALREADY USED THEM it was denied and out of network. I appealed the denial with Oscar because Dr. Linhorst was in network and was still listed in the system as in-network as of a week ago. Mile High or Womens Health Group (their billing) lied to Oscar claiming I said I would self-pay so my appeal was denied. Now I have a bill for $100 doctor and still $453 lab for an appointment that should have been totally covered. I never said I would self-pay and in fact said over and over that I owed nothing because it is covered by insurance. One time when I was talking with billing I said, no I do not owe you anything and I refuse to pay this, she hung up on me. Ironically, I got the self-pay invoice shortly after I was hung up on. Why would I decide to pay out of pocket after fighting it for months? Well, I didnt. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE OR ANY THAT WOMEN’S HEALTH GROUP bills for! Horrible customer service and a terribly stressful situation I have been in for 6 months and going. I will not stop fighting this because I did everything right! Now I have had to appeal it with Colorado Division of Insurance.
I have been a patient at this practice for many years - two pregnancies and my gynecological needs. I have only experienced excellent service from their staff, and appreciate how organized and efficient they are - I never wait more than five minutes to see the doctor. My doctor has always been Reid Goodman. His bedside manner cant be beat - I feel extremely comfortable with him and appreciate his pleasant and positive demeanor. I also am incredibly impressed by his many years of experience and professionalism - I trust his judgement 100%. He was even gracious enough to visit with my sister who lives in Costa Rica and had some sensitive issues to speak with him about. He took the time to help her and I will never forget that. It is also convenient that they have two locations. I just hope Reid doesnt retire too soon - hes the very best.
I would not recommend switching providers to Mile High OBGYN if you are in the middle of your pregnancy. I wanted to deliver at Rose hospital because of all the great things Ive heard so I tried to switch providers to Mile High OBGYN for my 24 week appointment. I called 2 months in advance of this appt while I saw my old provider. Mile High rescheduled me 3 times at the last minute, pushing the date several weeks out where I would have gone 7 weeks without an appointment. It is also impossible to get ahold of anyone at the front desk. I have been placed on hold with them for up to 30 minutes at a time after they call me to reschedule an appointment because one of the techs called out. I also specifically requested that I wanted to see a doctor and they scheduled me with a midwife instead. It is very difficult to get ahold of anyone here. I am sticking with my previous provider, who I like, and will deliver at a different hospital. They are also merging locations and seem to have an influx of new patients. This seems to be distracting from customer service and getting women seen in a timely manner. I would also recommend not switching to them mid pregnancy if you are high risk, as it might be a while until you are seen.
I Love ALL the doctors at Mile High OBGYN, but i have an especially good connection with Dr. Guggenheim. This is my second pregnancy, and I’m so happy to be doing it with this team, all over again. I always feel heard, supported, and not judged for the things I am going through in my personal life, and things i’m going through in regards to my pregnancy! It really truly feels like a big support system. Highly recommend!
After having to travel from Texas due to an unfortunate diagnosis, we met with Dr. Dressel. She was very informative and empathic to our situation. We found it was a blessing to have been led to her for our daughters care. Everyone in the office was very cordial and kind. Dr. Dressel has by far been the best Dr I have ever dealt with. She called in the evening to check on my daughter which is absolutely unheard of these days. I wish that we lived in the area so that we could continue care with her. She was definitely a blessing during a sad part of our lives!! I can not give her enough praise!
Love this practice! So friendly, caring and passionate. Dr. Guggenheim is my provider and I look forward to my annual visits.
I’ve been using Mile High for almost two years now after I became pregnant and have had my final poor experience that is causing me to move on. I called to schedule an appointment to get the copper IUD to be responsible and ensure I don’t have another surprise pregnancy. They told me they needed to get it cleared with my insurance first, totally understandable. They called me back the following day to let me know that my insurance was covering the IUD. However, there was going to be a $160 charge for an ultrasound after it was placed. I was super confused and said I would have to schedule later. I got off the phone and spoke to friends and coworkers that all had IUD’s as well as my insurance wondering why they weren’t covering it. Turns out not a single woman I asked ever had to have an ultrasound with their IUD insertion and insurance said it was not medically necessary. I called them back and let them know and asked if I could refuse the ultrasound as I am a single mother and $160 is out of the picture for me right now. They said, “well if you can’t afford it then you can pay it when you come for your 6 weeks IUD checkup.” They put me on SPEAKER, no telling where they were when they were talking to me…not sure if they know what HIPPA is? What if someone walked by and heard our conversation and my medical history was just out there for anyone to hear? Two women start speaking to me letting me know it is “recommended” by the OB to have an ultrasound. I said, “you’re saying it’s recommended, so can I refuse it?” “No, it’s policy.” They told me if I had reached my deductible then it would be covered. I expressed that mine is $6000 and there was no way I was going to hit it. Just fyi they make you input a card to have on file, but their website says you can ask the office staff to take it off if you don’t want it…so you ask them and they say they can’t because it’s “policy”? Anyway they told me to go somewhere else where I would have to create a new relationship with an OB and be charged a new patient fee. Luckily, my friend suggested Planned Parenthood. I called them and they scheduled me an appointment. I asked if I would need to get an ultrasound and they asked why I would need one? I told them my OB said I needed one after the IUD was inserted and they were extremely confused and told me there was no need for one. Mile High seems money hungry and feels the need to add unnecessary procedures to something simple in order to rack up your bill. Even after expressing that money is extremely tight for me. Things are only getting more expensive every day . I was just trying to make the appropriate steps in my life to ensure I don’t have another surprise pregnancy and was refused that service and told to go elsewhere. It saddens me because Dr. Dressel is such a lovely doctor, but now I will be going to planned parenthood where I guess I can “afford” their services.
Rose Midwifery is such a wonderful place to be supported while pregnant. The midwives do a great job of monitoring our health and keeping me informed. They were amazing during my last pregnancy and delivery, and I’m happy to be there again with my second. I recommend Rose Midwifery to anyone who wants quality, professional care without the unnecessary interventions that sometimes occur when going the OB medical route. Love them!
Most of the staff is friendly enough, however I had a bad experience with one of the midwives that left me feeling judged and like I was already a bad mother. This is my first pregnancy, and I had a lot of questions, which were mostly ignored or rushed through without proper explanations that a person who has never experienced this before would expect. Every appointment felt rushed and to me it seemed like I was just another number to them, they didnt really care about me as a patient. The last straw for me was when I was given false information about my CF test results. I was first told I was not a carrier, only to be told two weeks later that I was. It was pretty alarming that they could mess something like that up. I no longer felt I could trust these providers, so I switched immediately to a different practice. Overall, a very disappointing experience for a first time mom.
*Horrible* experience at this office. Read the many negative reviews for this office. Cant get through when you call. The staff confirmed, TWICE, that they accept my insurance, Bright Health. I went to my appt and met with Dr. Jennifer Linhorst. Terrible experience. Not a good listener. Very insistent, and took little time to understand my issue. When I received my bill, they did not accept my insurance. Because I was now showing as out of network, Mile High Women’s Health is charging me $563. I called to express my concerns and a month later, my bill increased by over $150 for lab tests. Dr. Jennifer Linhorst also tried to tell me that what I was experiencing was just me aging; unlikely considering all the symptoms of a yeast infection and Im in my 40’s with no menopause. I am crushed to have almost $600 in expenses for a yeast infection. Especially, *when I have insurance*. The staff should have said they didn’t take my insurance. This office did not even figure out or resolve my issue. I went to CHPG Womens Health the following week. They ran a microscope test while I was in the office. Found the issue! Easy! They had a script for me in less than an hour and my issue resolved. I highly recommend CHPG; so great and new updated technology in patient rooms. Don’t go to Mile High OB/GYN; terrible service, LONNNG hold times, billing fraud, insurance errors. Find the right place that will stand behind what they say, won’t overcharge their patients, and will answer their phone calls. :( UPDATE: Erroneous charges are still outstanding as businesses cannot be allowed to charge erroneous fees. I spoke with billing manager long ago. She seemed interested in what happened and then never followed up. Also, Rude staff, etc. This includes in the morning when you’re trying to schedule an appointment. Filed complaints with BBB and the Colorado Attorney General office regarding fraudulent fees charged. It is gross that consumers have no other options to fight this negligence.
I really want to like this place because the staff is actually really sweet and caring. The truth is they are very bad with time and scheduling. During my entire pregnancy I waited 30-40 minutes after my appointment time to be called back into the patient room. Then in the patient room I waited another 30 minutes to be seen. Once I even sat there for 1hr before the mid wife came in. Rose midwifery has no regard for your time or personal schedule so do not have any plans within a couple hours of your appointment or you WILL be late!! I hope they can find a solution. Thanks for reading
I want to give this office 5 stars - I really do. The midwives were all fantastic and seriously heartfelt in the care they provided. Reason for 3 stars is: they need to work through scheduling issues. EVERY SINGLE appointment I was on time and spent a minimum of 30 minutes waiting to go back and then another 30 minutes sometimes for the midwife. Also, the first ultrasound I got was so quick and the tech was...I would say just insensitive to the fact that was the first time seeing baby and the heartbeat, just whipping through the procedure and the images werent great quality. The other two U/S techs were fantastic though...just the younger one with the long black hair needs to work on her manner and images. So scheduling and the one U/S tech are the biggest snags - I am stuck at this point on finding another midwifery practice or sticking to this one, hoping this feedback helps the Office Manager.
Ive been waiting over 2 weeks for a manager, to call me back because one of their medical assistants injured my arm with a needle, and VERY intentionally. Which is why no one is calling me back. So Im filing a complaint with the hospital. Nurses/MAs should not be allowed to touch patients if theyre having a bad day, and think its ok to hurt people. I think Ill call a lawyer and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Do not accept genetic testing options. The doctor did not explain to us how the billing for the third party works. The office sends generic testing through Natera, which is a fraudulent company that appears to offer a lower self pay rate but is not transparent about how to self pay, refuses to send bills, and will bill insurance regardless of your request to self pay. This has created a billing nightmare for us that we have to navigate on top of dealing with pregnancy and doctor appointments. I am incredibly disappointed that this office partners with Natera and acts like it’s a great option for patients, when really, it is a nightmare of a company that scams patients and does not honour the self pay options our doctor promised us.
Laura and her MA Keira were awesome. It was my first visit for prenatal care and they treated me with respect and understanding. She heard my concerns and was ok with what I wanted to do regarding my care. You dont fine many doctors that will listen and force what they want on you. Thank you for the care.
I have been going to this office for many years. They used to be incredible! Unfortunately, they merged with another office and my experience continues to go downhill. Bedside maner with the midwives is hit and miss and I often feel that my concerns are not being listened to. Procedures have been recommended that are not widely used in the medical community (unnecessary additional ultrasounds). When asked to provide information on why additional procedures are necessary the question is avoided, from the midwives to reception to billing. It seems that they care more about money than the patient. I tried to give this office several more chances but I continue to be frustrated and disappointed. I would not recommend this office and highly recommend that women seek care elsewhere. The billing department is another issue. They are not willing to follow EOB contracts set in place with insurance companies and pass additional charges to the patient. They are difficult to speak with due to the argumentative nature of many in the office. Save yourself the hassle and find another place for your medical care.
I was billed incorrectly through my insurance company. I called Lisa and she was so caring and took care to call the lab; she worked it all out and I couldnt feel more grateful. I was incredibly happy with my experience with my doctor so when I received this bill, it was hard. Within a few days, Lisa had worked hard to figure it out! I will definitely be back and I would recommend any woman going here because they really do care!
Erin was amazing! My first time here and she was so gentle, listened to me intently and answered all my questions. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
Dr. Goodman and his staff were so friendly and compassionate. I went in for a procedure that was extremely emotional for me and his entire office was caring, understanding, professional, and made our visit as comfortable as possible. His prices are very affordable in comparison to all other offices and he does his best to work with your insurance as well. I highly recommend Dr. Goodman and his office staff!
The docs are STELLAR at Mile High. They helped me through an extremely scary high risk first pregnancy. I’m pregnant again and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr. Vanlandingham and Dr Ring really go that extra mile to be caring and helpful and sensitive to the needs of us crazy pregnant ladies! The only complaint I would have is regarding a rude ultrasound tech who performed my NT scan. But she isn’t the lady I normally see. Sandy and Missy are both awesome and reassuring in the ultrasound room. These guys work with Rose Medical Center, which is one of the best birthing hospitals in the country. You guys have all made such beautiful miracles a reality in my life. Thank you so very much!
This is a great place. The office staff is really nice and efficient. The place is clean and Dr. Berenbaum was very nice and took the time to get to know me. Plus she was gentle during the exam. I just moved to Colorado a few months ago and Im so glad that I found a good gynecologist!
Our experiences with this office were unprofessional and cold until seeing Dr. Goodman and the nurse. First time I was in with my girlfriend we were five minutes early (they ask you to come in 30 min prior to appointment) and had to wait an extra thirty minutes because the appointment was scheduled during a lunch break. So we waited an hour total before being taken in. When the front desk woman returned (after us waiting 30 minutes) she didnt apologize for the inconvenience or recognize our wait time. Still smelled of whatever lunch she had just eaten though so made us question if her hands were even washed. The woman who then took my girlfriends ultrasound was also cold. The room was of bigger concern than the lack of interaction though, as it looked as if it were being packed up to move and in disuse as well. It did not make for a comfortable environment. We were shuffled between rooms often as well which felt odd. The front desk assistant told me the office would not submit the claim to our insurance (as is advertised on website) and that We were responsible for that, but upon asking the doctor the same question he negated her answer and confirmed they do send to insurance. The second visit we were greeted by the friendly nurse and the same front desk assistant wasn’t to be seen, but you can hear about her personal life in detail from the lobby area. Again the interaction with doctor and nurse were OK although more clarity in communication from the doctor would have been a great deal of help. Upon leaving the same front desk assistant’s overall tone was just that she could care less about our experience. Ive never experienced something quite like this and normally wouldnt even say anything until my girlfriend just got off the phone with the very same woman. Once again cold and uncaring, had to call back a second time while my girlfriend was at work to get her details the second time because her inability to do her job correctly the first time. I would put less stars but Dr. Goodman saved the experience at the end as he was helpful friendly and professional. Front desk/lobby needs work. As a man I would assume this place should be comfortable and accommodating experiences for woman, and thats not what I witnessed first hand.
Love the team at Mile High OBGYN. Every visit is so professional and caring which I always appreciate. They always show great care for my needs!
The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the office is clean and every doctor there makes things as comfortable as possible. I do wish that modern medicine got more up to speed with how painful some of the procedures women endure are and offered pain medication. Other than that this is an amazing facility!
I recently moved to the Colorado area, and was looking for a good Gynocologist. Dr. Dressel and her staff were very friendly and helpful! Dr. Dressel talked with me about any concerns I had. She put me at ease. I would recommend becoming a patient with her! She is wonderful! The whole experience was very pleasant!
Always a great experience! They are so informative, always quick to get an appointment and very caring no matter the situation! Highly recommend Mile High OBGYN
One of THE WORSTE experiences I have had for pregnancy care. I am on my 3rd pregnancy and am considered high risk.In my first appointment I was dismissed when I asked what care would look like for me as a high risk mother. I was told that after the test results come back confirming my diagnosis that then they would discuss that with me.A few weeks later I woke up with food poisoning at 1AM. I was unable to hold anything down including water, so I called the office as soon as they opened to see at what point I would need to get an IV for fluids. I received a call back 4 hours later. They did not answer my question, but instead inquired as to if I wanted to try meds first (mind you I had been throwing up for 11 hours at this point). I said sure and was told they would call in the script. I got a call 26 hours later saying they had no pharmacy on file (though this was one of the things I filled out as a new patient). Thankfully I had NOT been throwing up for 37 hours by then as I definitely would have gone to the hospital before then....Overall sooo unprofessional and they DO NOT seem to have your best interest on their minds.
This is my 3rd year going to this OBGYN office. The previous 2 years I had a different Dr who has since moved out of state. She was wonderful!! So this week I saw a different Dr.- Dr Eule. Although she was very nice and seemed to listen to me, she did not know my history when she came in. She clearly had not looked over my chart other than a cursory glance. She didn’t know I had a history of cervical cancer. She didn’t know what kind of surgery/treatment I’d had for it. And she didn’t know how long I’d been on hormone replacement for peri menopause. She thought it was a year but I was pretty sure it had been 2 years, so I looked it up in my phone and it was 2 years. I found all of this very disappointing, since I’d expect the Dr taking care of me would know I’d had cancer. I’m sure she’s an excellent Dr, but this experience did not instill much confidence in me. She should have treated me as a new patient since, technically, I WAS a new patient for her. I realize Doctors are rushed to get through patients, especially in trying to catch up from Covid-19, but I think she should have been better prepared when she walked in the room. The staff at the front desk were nice but not too detail oriented. I asked if she needed my ID and she said they already had it. I had to explain to her that my ID was renewed this past year and they may have the expired one on file. I had also filled out my new insurance online prior to arriving. And although she said they received it, no one had updated it in their system and she referred to my old insurance when checking me in - so I’m not sure what the point was in ‘checking in’ online as they required. And finally, they didn’t have a way to give me a script for an ultrasound. I wanted to get it done at the hospital where I work and they didn’t know how to give me a written script - only electronically sent. When they did give me something it didn’t have their phone number or fax number or the Dr’s name written on it (just an illegible signature) so how would the results be sent to them.....hmmm.Overall, this experience has me considering looking for another GYN office.
OK, I about gave myself a panic attack after reading these reviews. I was even debating cancelling my appointment and going somewhere else. But Im glad I didnt. I just had my first appointment today. Upon entering the office, I noticed that it was nice and clean. I came up to the front desk and signed in, gave them my paperwork, and took a seat. The women at the front desk seemed nice. I was then called back by a nurse who was very polite. After getting my info and vitals, she left and Doctor Kauval came in. She was also very polite. She answered all of my questions I had. At no point in time did I feel uncomfortable, or sense a cold personality from anyone. Im glad I decided to go and see for myself.
Today I had my annual women’s exam and met with Katie who is one of the very wonderful midwives here. She was so caring and gentle and put my comfort first. She covered all of my concerns and has endless knowledge and advice to share which was all great. Definitely pleased with my experience today!!
Ive recently moved to Denver and its always not easy to find doctors you would trust again and feel comfortable with. But Mile High OB/GYN staff and Dr.Goodman has treated me with respect and warmth since the very first visit. I have felt a sincere care and regular follow up with the results. So I couldnt wish for better professionals and treatment.
Dr. Goodman is an excellent physician. From the very first visit he went out of his way to give me the care that I needed. I have never forgotten his kindness. Due to this, I have been a loyal patient for more than 8 years now. I would recommend him and Mile High OB/GYN to any woman.
I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Mile High OB/GYN. The staff and Dr. Goodman (whom is the provider I see) are professional, timely and treat you with utmost respect. To begin, I had been in a difficult situation when I came across his practice online while doing some research. Finding Dr. Goodman was a blessing, as he is a professional and experienced physician who also has a wonderful bedside manner. I have been to two different appointments and had a good experience each time. What prompted me to do this review today, is I reached out to them a short time ago to schedule an appointment. I was prompted to leave a voicemail due to all of the staff attending to other calls. To my surprise, I received a call a minute or two after I had hung up the phone!I can’t say how rare this is, for staff to be so timely and responsive in this industry (and I used to work in it).I can honestly say I trust this practice and Dr. Goodman for any and all oh/gyn needs!...and I highly recommend his practice :) TUpdate: I went to Mile High yesterday for the appt I had scheduled last week and felt like he addressed all my needs and the physician was warm and approachable.
Incredible place with great doctors. Dr Ferrara is one of my favorite people I have ever worked with, I have had 2 surgeries here and great experiences with both.
It was 30 minutes after my appointment time that the I was actually called in to the back. It took even longer for the Dr to see me. My consult was rushed. It took an extended period of time for the Dr to come back. My exam did not start until an hour and 15 minutes AFTER my appointment time. The Dr rushed, did not inform me on what she was doing. Let go of the speculum abruptly while it was in me and stabbed my cervix when doing the pap smear. To add to this she did not see a health condition I had listed and did not tell me she was going to grab a part of my body before she did so abruptly and hurt me. It has been 19 hours and my cervix still hurts.
I love Doctor Reid Goodman. I was blown away by his kindness and professionalism.. I highly recommend him! He treats every patient as if they were his relative and advises them accordingly so. He never rushed my questions or concerns and took time to reassure me I was in the best care.
I have been going to Mile High OB/GYN for over 20 years. They delivered my daughter and Dr. Goodman delivered my son and also did my Hysterectomy. I have seen others in this office over the years as well and have nothing but great things to say about everyone in this office. Dr. Goodman is outstanding and really cares about his patients. Even when there was a hiccup with one of the medical assistants billing department, they helped me make it right.
The midwives at Mile High OBGYN are amazing. Mallory Otto was so incredibly helpful and supportive through my pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum.
Dr Linhorst is phenomenal!!! I am so grateful to have her as my dr. She has taken care of me for many years, as well as delivered 2 of my children. Shes always so pleasant and converses with me and doesnt make me feel crazy when I ask her questions.
On the 10th of monday my wife and I visited this mile high. This was absolutely the worse services we have ever had at an office. After an okay first time visit my wife gave the office clerks her insurance information. My wife gave them her insurance card and everything. On the 13th of wensday however mile high charged my wife 500 dollars for her visit even though we have proper insurance, we have checked multiple times that our insurance is good. My wife calls and speakes to DANIEL. From the start DANIEL had some sort of attitude problem towards this issue we where having which is not our fault. Im sure she dosent have 500 dollars just lying around to be having attitude like that. She had us send her an email with the insurance information on it, and said we needed to call back for refund since she didint want to deal with it. Now its tuesday the 25th and we have no refund and we call again. This time AMANADA answers, now shes much more helpful but still does not do anything. We had to send an email again with our insurance info and she explained to use our refund will take 30 days they literally have all the right insurance information but are trying to keep our 500 dallrs, this should be illegal i dont know where they think we just got this money from to be spending and than for them to be holding on to it. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company and office, the doctor was amazing from my understanding but this whole money situation is absolutely disrespectful and uncalled for.
At Mile High OBGYN I have found doctors who are not only competent in their medical skills, but they are also kind people. Dr. Goodman and his staff have always taken my concerns seriously and talked to me like a human being. They have provided me details on scary issues Ive faced and helped me understand all facts so that I can make the best decision for myself. The office staff is friendly. The one time I had an issue with office policies, the office manager handled it in a way that made me feel heard as a customer.Dr. Goodmans philosophy on womens health is top notch. He cares about womens health and operates a practice staffed by strong female doctors who in turn provide wonderful care to their patients.
Dr Goodman is the best lady doc I’ve ever been to. He is very nice and personable also was the first doctor to explain what was going on with my body and what all treatment options are. I highly recommend him, the staff is also very nice and thorough, I even got my flu shot at the same visit for a regular exam
I just had a baby about three months ago with the help of these wonderful woman. I am one of those woman that freak out over everything and constantly went in and they never batted an eye. They always made me feel comfortable and safe. I was offered security and anonymity during my hospital stay. I even was able to see a free therapist durring my appointments which was a God send! When it came time to give birth they respected all of my needs and wishes. It turned into an emergency c-section and I am SO greatful that they worked quickly and efficiently to safely deliver my son. It was wonderful to be in their care!
Best practice I’ve ever been one bulb work I’ve seen Dr. Goodman many times and he’s help with many many friends with my family. I have never gotten better advice or better treatment for my family in all aspects. I would recommend his practice to anyone who wants to have a great care and someone who cares about the needs and expectations. Thank you so much
Today- I experienced the most painfully devastating event that any parent (of a teen) could ever have to endure. However, I do have to say that I really lucked out when I found Dr.Goodman and his practice. The entire staff was absolutely amazing. They were kind...compassionate...respectful...and thoroughly devoted to taking care of their patients. They are focused on ensuring that all women have access to a safe, clean, and supportive environment, regardless of their situation. In fact, I think anyone who has to go through this- should (if feasible) go through this guy- even if it means driving for a couple of hours...seriously.
I went to Mile High OB/GYN for my entire pregnancy and my son was delivered by Dr. Linhorst. She is a truly wonderful, informative OB. In addition, I received care from Dr. Goodman for a procedure following my previous pregnancy and he made a difficult situation so much lighter for me. He was so kind and I have so much respect for that. Thank you to the office and team in Cherry Creek.
First of all, ANYTIME you call this clinic be prepared to sit on hold for at LEAST 10 min if not up to 20. I had an abnormal pap, with precancerous cells. My husband is active duty Army and it is difficult to find an in-network tricare doctor. Dr. Reid Goodman is listed as tricare in network. I have been trying to schedule a colposcopy with them since September (OVER 7 WEEKS). My PCP faxed over my path results and my tricare pre authorization for this appointment for 4 weeks in a row. Every time I called to schedule my colposcopy they said they never received anything. After weeks of going back and forth and them cancelling my appointments due to no paperwork I decided to take matters into my own hand, requested the documents from my PCP, with ALL of the fax confirmation sheets that this clinic swears they never got. When I called them and told them what I had in hand and was headed over to deliver they miraculously found all my information. After being placed on hold for 10 minutes, the front desk lady got back on to tell me they needed authorization from the insurance to schedule EVEN THOUGH I have the preauthorization in hand AND they are tricare in-network AND they’ve had this paperwork for weeks and couldn’t get it done then? I asked her how long it would be to hear back from them, she said soon. Well it’s been 5 days and I’ve now gone 2 months with a bad pap with no progress and she said they are booking 3-4 weeks out once they get the approval i already got for them. So i decided to go to someone out of network and pay extra OUT OF POCKET because this clinic couldn’t care less about its patients. And the crazy part? It took me 1 min to schedule the appointment with someone else, AND they didn’t require me to jump through hoops AND I got the procedure done in 3 days. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time with this office staff. I can’t say anything about the doctors because i never got past the lady at the front desk who will ALWAYS place you on hold for 10-15 minutes before speaking with you, or the lady in the back who “swears” she’s in contact with your insurance. I’ve never experienced anything like this. If I could give it zero stars I would. What a disgrace.
My first two visits would have resulted in a 5 star rating; however now I would rate them a one due to the lack of follow-up. Indeed to adjust my prescription from a patch to oral because the patch doesn’t stay on my skin. I’ve made 7 calls, my pharmacy has faxed a request and still no return call or resolution! The receptionists have bee understand and attentive. The last one told me that Brandy, Dr. VanLandingham’s assistant is notorious for not returning calls so she elevetaed my request to the head MA who also did not return my call. I’m stuck trying to resolve this with them because my only other option is to go to another doctor AT MT EXPENSE and to start over! What will it take to get 5 minutes of their time?
Not only is Dr. Goodman an absolutely amazing doctor, he’s caring, informative, and always gives you time to ask questions. I really could go on and on! Between Dr. Goodman and his father they have delivered 3 generations of my family. I drive almost 40 minutes each way to go to this practice because I know with them I’m getting the best care possible.
My experiences at Mile High OB-GYN have always been wonderful. The admin and medical staff are always prepared and organized. I am greeted with kindness, full attention, and understanding on every visit. I see Dr. Reid Goodman. He is everything a doctor should be. He is an expert in his field, honest, and has an amazing bedside manner. I always feel totally comfortable with him and his staff. Dr. Goodman is not only the very best ob/gyn I have ever had (I have seen many and various specialists.), he is my absolute favorite doctor, period. There is no doubt that the folks at Mile High OB-GYN truly care about womens health.
Switched late in my pregnancy (29 weeks) and wish I would’ve switched sooner. Was with an OB office beforehand and the appts felt very impersonal and almost like an inconvenience. The Drs at the midwifery at Rose have been very welcoming and the appointments have felt so much more personal.
Both times I’ve went in I have been unsatisfied with my experience there. The first time I went in the doctor made me feel very uncomfortable with the rude and unprofessional comments she made to myself and my boyfriend. The second time, I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes and informed the front desk that no changes were made to my insurance or my contact information. Once I was back there THEN they decided to inform me that my insurance didn’t cover my visit(when it was covered the previous visit) I just feel like this practice needs a lot of work. I will NEVER be returning or will never recommend this practice to anyone.
Ive been going to Mile High for nearly 8 years and I recommend it to all my friends. Thanks to Dr. Goodman Im writing this with my seven week old son on my lap.The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgable. My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for a year, we got pregnant but miscarried. Dr. Goodman could not have been more empathetic and helpful during some of the most painful moments of my life.Eight months later and we are pregnant again. I loved my frequent visits to see Dr. Goodman and his staff. They answered all my stupid questions, responded to my late night, first-time-mom, questions and freak outs. Each of the doctors made me and my husband feel comfortable and smiled with us each time we heard our sons heartbeat.Dr. Goodman and Dr. Kauvar settled all my fears and helped me get through labor. There isnt another person in the world Id rather have had deliver my son than Dr. Goodman. I cant recommend them highly enough.
The entire staff was so welcoming. I was running late and after I arrived I realized I left my insurance card in the car, they were super understanding. My doctor walked me through every step of my procedure and really listened to my concerns. Felt like a spa.
My actual appointment was ok, in the sense that everyone was nice and helpful. But i literally feel robbed with how they handled the money aspect.I had called ahead of time and asked how much it would cost. I paid that when I arrived, but have gotten MULTIPLE bills after the fact. I was told on the phone the cost would be $144 and by the end of it had received bills totaling over $900! I was never told during the visit that anything they did would cost extra and only found out when the bill arrived weeks later. Most of the additional charges were things that were presented as, “while you’re here you might as well” and “since you’ve paid for your appointment I want to feel like you’re getting your money’s worth”And I am self pay, so that extra money comes out of my pocket....which is why I made a point of asking ahead of time about the cost.
I attempted to reach someone multiple times today to reschedule or cancel my appointment. I was unable to reach anyone all day and never got a call back. I am extremely upset with this outcome, and will probably unfortunately have to end up paying for their screw up. I don’t recommend anyone go here. You will most likely end up paying for an appointment you made even though you tried to cancel or reschedule. They have no respect or care for their patients. (In case you’d like to try to find me in your computer my name is Nowell Jackson, I just go by Dayle) also how dare the owner respond to patients In the way that they have! Revealing sensitive information about a patients happenings! Very unprofessional and probably illegal. Maybe the other mommas here who have had real issues should band together and sue this horrendous place. They obviously have no care for anyone. No one should go here.
A few comments about Mile High Ob/Gyn that are noteworthy. One, upon entering either office locations you are immediately at ease thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and amazing staff. Secondly, I used to fear going to any Ob/Gyn because of past bad experiences. Please let me inform you that Dr. Reid Goodman is superior to any physician I have ever had. He truly cared for me as a patient, as still does to this day. My appointments with him: perpetually greeted with a smile, he always seems to remember so much about me, the examination is to the point and well performed, and his incredible medical staff truly makes for a remarkable appointment. I have recommended Dr. Goodman to so many of my friends and they all feel the same way! There are two office locations that can accommodate a visit, which is nice and convenient! Thank you and all of your office staff, Dr. Goodman, for being professional, amiable, and warm hearted. I think these are exceedingly superior traits for any physician...you just seem to be the very definition of them!
All of my annual and follow up appts have been very thorough and professional. I’m so happy to have Dr. Linhorst and I really appreciate her and her staff. I highly recommend her as a gynecologist and a provider that cares. It’s been hard getting appts right now during the pandemic…hey do their best to fit you in!J. Garcia
Amazing people, clean and officiant. They schedule your next appointment before you leave. The doctors and nurses make you feel good and excited about the baby. Dr. Ring is my favorite she is so happy and positive. A great place to go.
Theyre really hard to get ahold of. Ive now called SIX times (different days) to get my medical records but nobody will answer the phone although it says Im number one in the que. Last time I called I was on hold for 43 minutes before I finally hung up. Do yourself a favor and use a different provider that you can actually get ahold of. I cant imagine how stressed Id be if I needed to talk to a doctor or nurse for a medical issue, much less make an appointment.
***Due to a recent story that I heard about, I can no longer stand behind a positive review of this location. There has likely been a change in leadership and culture, and as a Black woman, I understand the importance of making sure that we stay aware and alert of those spaces that are safe for our community . I no longer see this as a safe space and would caution others to do their research.** Black Women and Black Babies Matter! I challenge the staff and leadership of Mike High OB/GYN to do the necessary work to ensure that your services stay safe and relevant to all communities that you are honored to serve.
My experience at the new Mile High offices was great. Very friendly team at the check-in/check-out desk, nurses super friendly and kind, and Dr Marshall was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Great team!
We have been with this associate for year from the day my wife conceived. The Doctors (Lindy,Ring and Linhorst ) are awesome and treated very well. I can rate them 5*****.But coming to Front desk, I can give them 0*. The are rude and they wont have patience to listen what we are telling.I called couple of times today(11/28) around 1:50 to 2:00 as i need to pick my wifes records and summary as she is travelling to India. They are answering call and disconnecting immediately without saying anything.
I do not recommend them at all, they have terrible communication. Have been asking for a release of information and they refused until I was to far in the pregnancy to be transferred anywhere. They will not sign a release for any dental work, they state that they have sent it with a fax to the dental office . Yet when I’m sitting g in the dental office they do t get anything . They give me a run around “well usually we need a couple days “ okay it’s been weeks . Or “with the office changing from one location to another we fall behind “ ,” since trump took office “ .I DO NOT RECOMMEND, They take blood and when you ask for the results they say “ no reply means there’s nothing wrong with your blood “ but I should still have the right to have my blood results .I see a different midwife every time I go in and they’re not very personable .
I really enjoyed the overall experience from the front desk to the medical assistant and the doctor. Everyone was very friend and knowledgeable. I would recommend this Doctors Office .
I went to this practice and was initially happy but that took a turn for the worst pretty quickly. The doctors never returned my calls or got back to me when I had a serious problem that needed taken care of. I’m sorry if I annoyed you all with my messages and concerns but I ended up having an 8mm kidney stone so it was a pretty big deal that should’ve been taken seriously. It just baffles me that no one would return any of my calls. I will be seeking out another provider.
Dr. Goodman is the kindest, warmest, most wonderful doctor I have ever had. He’s thorough and takes the time to really listen. He was by my side from the moment my husband and I decided we wanted to get pregnant until the very moment he brought my little guy into this world. He’s still a very big part of our lives.
After having to call 2 days in a row because I was placed on hold for 10 mins the first time, I finally got through to make an appointment. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful. I couldn’t remember who I had seen at my last appointment so I asked her to look me up. Granted I hadn’t been there in 2 yrs but my pcp has been doing my annuals and I only needed an obgyn while pregnant. The receptionist said I would have to go in as a new patient because it had been so long. When I asked if there was anyway to find out what doctor I had seen she said not without pulling my chart. I guess she didn’t want to get up from her chair to pull my chart, instead she rattled off a list of names and asked if they sounded familiar. When I said no is there anyway to look it up she again said not without going to get my chart. At that point it was obvious she didn’t want to be helpful and didn’t care that I needed to see someone so I politely responded that I would just find another doctors office if they didn’t want to help me and she politely responded “ok no problem”. I am deeply disappointed that a obgyn’s office couldn’t even be bothered to help a former patient. I won’t use them again.
Now that Im home and settled in after delivering my second baby Ive finally had a chance to reflect on my pregnancy experience with baby number two. Having gone to two separate OB/GYN practices for my two pregnancies I know first hand the enormous benefit of what it means to go to a great practice like Mile High OBGYN and be treated by Dr. Goodman.Dr. Goodman and his staff go out of their way to make you feel like youre the most important patient of their day. The front desk staff were more than accommodating with scheduling (they have two convenient offices), being flexible with me if I was running late, keeping me up to date on invoices and reminding me of what type of appointments I had coming up so I could plan accordingly. The nurses and medical assistants were very knowledgeable and had calming demeanors, which goes a long way during the nine month pregnancy experience. Finally, Dr. Goodman became more than just my OB/GYN as we navigated the intricacies and unique experience of my pregnancy - he became a friend. He was always there on short notice to answer any question that I had, he made me feel more than comfortable with every passing appointment and put me at ease with his lively demeanor and absolute professionalism, and as a result he was someone who I trusted wholeheartedly with delivering my baby. I couldnt say these things about the previous OB/GYN office I used for my first pregnancy.I would highly recommend Mile High OB/GYN to anyone that asks, and I tell all of my girlfriends to use their services and specifically Dr. Goodman. I feel very lucky to have gone through the experience of delivering my second baby in the care of their team.
At first I was skeptical because my first appointment talked a lot about my weight when I was there for fertility help. BUT, Im 25, 54 and had gotten to a crazy weight...I needed to hear it! I was there for issues I had been dealing with for years, other doctors prescribed me to birth control and called it good! Dr. Linhorst came in, mentioned a bunch of craziness I had never heard of and she was RIGHT, we found the problem! I have since then lost weight, been focusing on my health and have a great doctor that knows her stuff! Dr. Linhorst is amazing! I love that your doctor will actually call you, not just communicate through their medical assistant. The personal touch is the reason I will always come here for my womanly needs, and hopefully I can get a positive pregnancy test soon and come see you again! Thank you guys! :)
Have gone to this clinic for routine wellness exams. Office is quite busy with many patients. Staff is nice and there are many doctors to choose from. They just moved to Rose hospital and plan to renovate the facilities.
I have been going to Mile High since I found out I was pregnant for the first time back in December of 2017. They have been great since day one. All of the staff is friendly and the doctors I met with (you meet them all during your pregnancy) were nice and professional, especially Dr. Vanlandingham, who delivered our baby girl. She caught my preeclampsia and monitored me closely up until I had to have an emergency C-Section, which she performed. The whole process was scary, but I fully trusted Dr. Vanlandingham and she was outstanding. From the moment I met her she made me feel safe in her hands and very comfortable throughout the entire experience; before and after having my baby. I still see her postpartum and will be so sad to have to find a new OB when I relocate to Europe this winter. I HIGHLY recommend this practice, especially Dr. Vanlandingham. She’s AMAZING!
I am 28 weeks pregnant, and my blood type is type o negative, so I had to get my RhoGAM shot yesterday. It is my third pregnancy, and thus, my third time getting it. The past two at other hospitals have been so awfully painful, so I was really nervous!Kim was so kind and comforting, and the way she gave me the shot, it didn’t hurt at all! I’m not even sore today! She deserves a raise 🙌🏼 Thanks Kim!
If I have any questions or concerns I honestly dont even call anymore I just try to deal with it myself . Wish my experience was better , my blood pressure is still a concern but I just try to manage it with garlic and by checking it from home . I was never given a follow up on the preclampsia or any medicine .Im updating my review because Im just very annoyed . I called this morning but couldnt get through and called after hours because I was having shortness of breath at 555pm and jts now 718pm and I never recieved a call back
I was referred to Mile High OB-GYN because I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis. From start to end, everything has been unorganized. It took a long time to even schedule my surgery. I tried calling Kelly numerous times and she never answered. I left a voice message and she didnt even call me back. After weeks of waiting, I was relieved to get my 3 appointments scheduled, 5 minutes later I received a call from Kelly again stating that they had to reschedule because the doctor was going to be on vacation. Im not sure why she didnt communicate with the Doctor prior to calling me the first time.I went in for my Pre op appointment and was told that they didnt accept American Express, so I rescheduled. On the day of my Pre Op appointment, I received a voicemail stating that Medicaid would not cover my co-pay because I had Denver Health Medicaid. I returned their call and was told, I did not call you, so do you know who left the voice message. The tone of her voice was so rude, so I hung up on her. The customer service is horrible! What a waste of time and I will not refer anyone to them. I cant even imagine what the surgery experience would be like. My sister referred me to an excellent OB Doctor Julie Mahoney, MD with Colorado Womens Health Center for anyone who is seeking a professional Womens Health Practice. The only good experience I had was with the OB Doctor. She prescribed me a higher dose of ibuprofen for the pain. I told her I wanted a hysterectomy done and she was very supportive. She did everything that she needed to do on her end in a timely manner. She completed the Medicaid paperwork to get my surgery approved and had me sign it asap. Unfortunately I do not know her name. I dont think the issues are with the doctors, I think a lot of the problems come from the front desk staff.
If youre expecting or just looking for womens health practice, I would 100% recommend Midwifery at Rose. Ive been at this practice since 2017 and with each of my pregnancies Ive felt incredibly empowered during my labor and delivery. The nurses here are also amazing and it just makes this practice that much better, book your appointments with Midwifery at Rose!
Do not use the new group now run by Womens Health since the beginning of 2019. I was treated horribly by these women who are supposed to be patient centered and advocate for care. Through a miscommunication, they denied me as a patient after a midwife spent all of 30 seconds reviewing my file (they thought I wanted a water birth, for which the cutoff is 40) and when I escalated the issue through the hospital and asked for a second review, they STILL denied me but couldnt give a single risk factor. They just didnt like that I advocated for myself. There are other midwifery groups in the city. Hopefully Rose fires this practice and goes back to having an in-house practice. Terrible, lacking in compassion!
I am surprised by the negative feedback. I had my daughter here in 2013. I moved up to Northglenn and went to another practice but found it wasnt the same and switched back to Mile High today at 16 weeks pregnant and Im so happy that I did. Dr. Kauvar is so friendly and both front desk staff were very friendly this morning! I am so happy I made the switch!
Dr. Ring is amazing. Really. One of the beat Drs Ive ever had...But..... plan on waiting 1 hour MINIMUM for your appointment. Thats in addition to the 15 min they tell you to show up early. Awesome team but thats my biggest complaint. I think they must overbook appointments..... the waiting is terrible. Like, almost enough to make me want to go somewhere else.
The Mile High locations are always a pleasure! I cant recall a time when they have been delayed or late... the staff is always courteous and smiling .... and of course, Dr. Goodman is the best. You never feel rushed and he takes the time to connect with you. I would highly recommend their office!
Everyone was very kind! I never wondered what to do. From the instant I arrived there was someone to guide me and help me with check-in. My only complaint would be the ultrasound. I wish she wouldve taken it slower and just showed us a good picture of what our baby was up to. Wasnt quite as magical as we wouldve hoped. But, we had an amazing experience overall.
I had my first OB/GYN appointment with Dr. Ring and couldnt have had a better experience. As this was my first visit, I was obviously a little apprehensive and Dr. Ring explained everything she was going to do, what I needed during the exam, and her recommendations clearly and with compassion. One thing I noticed specifically was her ability to remain objective in her recommendations as well. I could tell she wasnt recommending me something based on her personal preference, but asked me questions about what is most important to me and worked to a solution that way.The facility is also very nice and in a great location-- though parking can be a bit of a bear in the garage. Would highly, highly recommend Dr. Ring and Mile High OB/GYN!
Honestly, Im astonished to see any negative reviews. Remember. There are two sides to every negative story.I am very pleased that my husband and I decided to come to Mile High OB/GYN.My husband and I came in to see Dr. Goodman. We had never met him before, let alone stepped foot in the office, so we werent sure what to expect. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly, and the waiting area was clean and quiet. The lady who called us back was warm and friendly.Dr. Goodman is a kind man. He is warm and welcoming, and listening to my husband and Is concerns and questions wasnt forced. He came in, shook mine and my husbands hand, then took us to his office to ask questions and to make some decisions. He was focused on what we had to say, and was extremely professional with his answers and statements. He took time to get to know, and relate to us on a personal level. He treated us with much kindness and respect, rather than just a number on a piece of paper. He made it a point to try to keep the atmosphere light, as it wasnt a good day for my husband and I. He was very thorough with explaining what he was going to do, and whats to come. He kept a smile on his face, and managed to keep one on mine. Never once, did he male us feel rushed, or like a burden.Though it wasnt a day we wanted, we know who we will be choosing as a primary OB/GYN. Dr. Goodman is the doctor to see. Hes got a good heart, and has your best intentions set as his number one priority.
We were at the cherry st office but its the same practice. This practice is a joke. Multiple issues causing us to leave.1. Docs that whiz through appointments and seem to just want to go home. No compassion.2. Doc prescribed a class D medication (proven harm to human fetus) when class B (no harm in animal studies) is available and just as effective.3. Doc promised that we would not get a bill for lab work. $800 bill contradicts that statement.4. Scheduling issue today was the last straw. Came in for anatomy scan but lo and behold they had scheduled us for a day when the ultrasound tech isnt in the office.Disappointing experience for our first kiddo. Luckily I work in the medical field and can see right through their pushy fear tactics. They did not even try to attempt service recovery. Patients must leave so often that they dont even try to keep you as a patient.Based on others previous poor reviews I look forward to a snarky response from the owner.
This was the best place I could have gone for a tough procedure. Everyone was very supportive and talked me through the whole process. I was able to set my boundaries as well as get answers on anything I was confused on. It was very difficult for me but my doctor and nurses tried to make it as easy for me as possible.
Whenever I have a question or a concern Dr. Eule would brush it off and give me a generic one sentence answer such as “it’s normal” or “don’t worry about that” instead of explaining anything to me or giving me an actual answer to ease my mind. When I would try to contact my doctor to ask about a concern I had (which only happened twice) the receptionists would be rude and short as well as unhelpful. Then it would take hours and hours and multiple phone calls just to get a simple answer from the doctor. If I ever had a concern the answer that I received almost every single time was “go to the ER” without even receiving an explanation about the possible complications or even just the reason why I need to go to the ER. My experience with Dr. Eule was that this practice is run by people that are extremely unprofessional, rude, dismissive, lazy, and not suited to aid someone through their pregnancy. I have heard good things about the other doctors at the clinic but do NOT use Dr. Eule.
Great patient care. Dr goodman is compassionate and takes his time to make sure youre relaxed and well informed. Sandy, the ultrasound technician is bat far the best technician I have dealt with both professionally and personally.
Amazing place that cares deeply about me and my baby. I can call anytime it does not matter if its on a Saturday at 1am someone always calls me back and they are always pleasant when they do so. the front desk staff is polite and always patient with me. I always have lots of questions and concerns everyone in that buildings always puts me at ease.
I had a bilateral salpingectomy, and everyone was SO sweet the entire way through so i felt very comfortable and excited! Dr Ring held my hand and rubbed my shoulder in the OR when i was starting to get anxious which helped a lot! All the employees made it feel like home and it made my experience super fun and exciting!! I live in Longmont but will definitely make the drive for all other medical needs in ghe future. 😊👍
Moving from across the country is stressful enough and finding incredible doctors like Reid Goodman made the transition much better. Its been many years and still to this day. My wife and I trust this doctor with not only her health but now the health of my 2 daughters. Thank you Dr. Goodman for your caring manner.
When we first realized we were pregnant, I researched the best OBGYNs in Denver. I had recently moved from Los Angeles at the time and didnt know many people in order to trust their referrals. Mile High OBGYN was highly rated, in a great area, and within network. I was also impressed by the instant response I received from the head doctor in the office, Dr. Goodman. I interviewed doctors and I knew right away Dr. Goodman would be our doctor. He took over his practice from his father and had been practicing medicine for many years. I could relate to his father being his mentor and how much he learned from him before his passing. Dr. Goodman showed me more than he was able of delivering our baby safely, but that he was personable with an excellent bedside manner. The duration of my pregnancy was really a dream medically. I never had to wait during my appointment times and if I had any questions, I would just email him and I would get a response within 24 hours. Most times, within minutes! I had a hard pregnancy with complications, but this office made me feel that there was nothing to worry about. I saw other doctors during my monthly visits in the office and they were all lovely and would explain everything. They gave great dietary advice and had more information available for those academics who want to read and internalize the information for themselves.Due to those complications, I had to deliver 32 weeks early by C-section. This is my first child and I was scared. Dr. Goodman eased my mind and she was delivered safely. My baby girl is in the NICU and he came to visit us in her room at Rose. One of the NICU nurses said that it is rare to see OBs visit their patients in the NICU. I wasnt surprised to see Dr. Goodman because that is just the kind of doctor he has been to me my entire pregnancy. Dr. G is family to us.If you seek the best care for you and your baby, Mile High OBGYNs would be your best choice!
Do NOT go here if you are trying to look into sterilization options. At least do not book an appointment with Kristine Eule. She is very outdated in sterilization procedures. I wasted good time and money to just be told a bunch of misinformed nonsense.I have a primary care who Ive been talking to about this, and she referenced me to this other place that seemed promising. I was trying to check all my options by trying out this place, and clearly it is not one.Edit In Response: She did not refer me to another doctor. In fact she just kept telling me that I probably wouldnt be able to find a doctor that would do the procedure at my age. And kept referencing my age and how young I am to be making this decision for my own body. Very unprofessional
Honest, genuine compassion. Laura went the extra mile to assist me. She didn’t treat me like a number or name to check off her schedule even though the practice was really busy during my appointment time.
I love coming to rose midwifery during my 3 pregnancy I have choosen this hospital and care from rose midwifery to help me with my pregnancy care. The ladys who work there are excellent. I have requested accommodations where I only see 1 midwife has been the same since I have become pregnant with my 3rd child. I am single mother who is on medicade but am treated like am part of their group. All the women including Dr wall make me feel welcomed and cared for they are truly an amazing team
Im not a patient but was looking for a provider online. I wouldnt ever write a review under these circumstances but I am so deeply concerned about the owners responses to patient complaints that I felt compelled to speak up. I am gravely concerned that the owner is walking a razor thin line of divulging PHI in their responses. Private health information, of course, is protected under both state and federal laws. I, for one, would never go to a medical office that threatens to release details of my treatment for the entire world to see online.
I called to reschedule my appointment and no one answered or called me back. I was there because I know something is wrong and I needed specific help however the doctor barely checked me out, ran no tests, and made me feel like I was wasting her time. Nothing was resolved with my visit and I don’t feel like they cared. Overall I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with my visit. STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I thought this would be a more down to earth , traditional midwifery practice… it was anything but. I actually had to go through a couple years of therapeutics to recover from my traumatic delivery. There was a midwife, Jen who worked there when I was pregnant, who was downright mean and frankly unintelligent when it came to accurate knowledge and statistics about dtap … And then for the birth - because of the midwives failed attendance at my birth, I “needed” an attending physician Dr Linhorst (who was absolutely dreadful, rude and disrespectful ) to perform a vacuum delivery. Definitely not the place to go to if you want real midwives.. these ones are fake and disguised pharma reps. Writing this review is part of my healing process. 💜
They are simply the best. Their bed side manner is is wonderful. I started going there when I was pregnant and had the best experience throughout that I decided to continue to go just for yearly check ups.I’m going on 8 years now!
The front office staff are totally RUDE!! They seem like they are forced to be their. They never have a smile on their face they put you on hold forever on the phone & when they finally answer if they answer they do not know what is going on! The worst thing about the front office staff is not getting messages to the Doctors. Also when calling to leave a message for the doctor the medical assistant calls back which they have no clue on how to answer medical questions so then they have to ask the doctor & the doctor never calls back the medical assistant does with an answer from the doctor so much time wasted. Also all these good reviews about Dr.Goodman I dont really believe. I saw Dr. Goodman when my doctor was not available. He told me im in menapause when i am still haveing periods, lol..He did not check me or anything even though I had pain. He smells like terrible terrible incense! He is also creepy! See Dr. Brandi Ring she is the best!
Ive been waiting over 2 weeks for a manager, to call me back because one of their medical assistants injured my arm with a needle, and VERY intentionally. Which is why no one is calling me back.UPDATE: I finally spoke to a manager after a month. Just a lot of victim blaming. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!
I loved my experience with them. They are always so friendly and helped me so much threw out my pregnancy. Then when it came time for birth they respected all my wishes helped me with a natural birth and I still get to see the midwife who delivered my baby so she gets to see him grow wich I think is amazing
This place is quite awful. Im not sure how they can get away with calling themselves professionals. They dont answer the phone or have the front desk staffed so getting a hold of them is difficult. I was actually hung up on when trying to make an appointment and called every day for 3 more days before someone would even answer the phone. I show up for my appointment and there is no one at the front. I wait over 45 minutes. Meanwhile I can hear people back in the office who are clearly ignoring the fact that I am standing here. I had to yell 3 times before someone came to acknowledge me, I was then told that everyone was at lunch DURING MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME!! SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. Obviously no regard for other peoples time. I dont recommend this place to my worst enemy.
I have been going to Mike High OBGYN for over25 years, specifically Dr. Reid Goodman. Dr. Goodman has gotten me through my twenties, my 2 pregnancies, delivered both my children birth, all while putting up me and my somewhat high maintenance husband People think I’m crazy when I talk about Mile High OBGYN, who likes going to see their OBGYN…. I do. From the time you walk through the front door and check in with receptionist, and seeing everyone in between to check out, you are treated like family, whether it’s your first visit, or you’ve been going there for 25 years, a lot of their staff has been there longer then I have been going, their. To say that Dr. Goodman goes above and beyond is frankly putting it mildly. When I go into a regular check up with Dr. Goodman, he takes the time to talk with me, not chit chat, he talks with me. How’s my family, work, any good vacations, at first I was like yay a, let’s go, but after getting to know him, I found that it’s important for him to get to know you the person, not just the patient. Getting to know you personally is just one part of what Dr. Goodman does to make you feel more comfortable. After each exam he has you get dressed and join him in his office, so he can discuss you visit in more detail, answer any questions talk through his diagnosis and what medicine he is proscribing and why.I always thought how he takes care of you during and after your office visit was above and beyond, but that’s just Dr. Goodman, the real example of above and beyond was after my first child was born, I was home alone and I had a complication, to put it mildly I was freaking out. It was after hours and the service got ahold of Dr. Goodman, he called me, calmed me down and told me to meet him at Rose Medical Center. What I didn’t know is that he was at the opening day of Coors Field and opening day of the Rockies. Most doctors would have examined me as quickly as they could and handed me off to the ER doctor so they could get back to the game. Not him, Dr. Goodman stayed, he was extremely patient with my high maintenance husband and talked him off the ledge , he made sure I was not only medically ok, but mentally ok (especially since I was a new mom), all the while playing with my daughter and helping us keep her calm.I’ve told him a million times I stay in Colorado because of him….. I can’t leave the one person that knows me and my medical history inside and out….. I love Colorado for many reasons, but Dr. Goodman is one of the top two…. Oh that’s right my wonderful husband lives here too. Needless to say I highly recommend Dr. Goodman and the entire Mile High OBGYN Practice.
As a new patient my wife and I can’t say anything horrible about the clinic. We did notice that the check in is longer than most for new patients (filling out paperwork electronically) out doc seems to care about my wife’s well being so we will definitely be back.
Dr. Goodman has been my OB/GYN for 8 years now and I appreciate his awesome bedside manner. He is always upbeat and cordial when I meet with him for my annual exams. Mile High OB/GYN is an awesome clinic! I highly recommend it.
Cant say enough wonderful things about Dr. Goodman and his assistant Leanna. They are always responsive to my needs, and I trust them without question when it comes to my health care. I highly recommend them If you are looking for an excellent gynecological medical team!
Ive had an issue that was going on for quite sometime, it took a few er visits and different ultrasounds. I finally found a place where I feel comfortable to talk to anyone about whats going on, and I was able to finally get an answer to jt problems and they will be resolved soon which puts alot of stress St ease for me.
Dr. Goodman and team are absolutely the best! Dr. Goodman recently delivered our first child - the entire pregnancy and delivery process were made more enjoyable and easier with the help and compassion of everyone at Mile High OB GYN. We truly appreciate their professionalism and expertise.
I have been going to Dr. Goodman for close to 30 years. I love that the they 2-offices that you can go to. Dr. Goodman always takes his time to explain everything to you and answers all of your questions. His staff is always pleasant and many of his staff have been with Dr. Goodman for 20 plus years. That in it self says a lot about this practice.
Love Dr. Goodman. Always on time. Glad for follow up.Initial paperwork for sign in to new system is ridiculously long. Info requests are irrelevant to my visit and feel my info is for other reasons.Otherwise, I am completely pleased with Dr. Goodman’s care.
Went in for pap smear for the first time. My doctor was very business and matter of fact type of person so she kept telling me to relax which is hard to do when it hurts. Lets just say my experience left me freaked out and crying and I dont consider myself a very sensitive person.... Im not really sure why I cried, but the experience was apparently very stressful with her. I got a Mirena IUD from a womens health center five years ago and it was uncomfortable and I gritted mt teeth through it, but it didnt leave me crying.... My recommendation to my doctor would be to calm down and take your time, you may be use to it, but the rest of us arent. I havent been to a doctor in 5 years and shes a prime example of why I dont like going to the doctor.
Super friendly staff, was able to make it in and out within an hour! My midwife talked me through everything and answered all of my questions and helped me feel comfortable throughout my appointment.
I really enjoy Dr. Linhorst and the team but the new office is really Grimy and not a great experience. I am hoping to get pregnant soon, but contemplating switches doctors since I do not want have to come to this office every few weeks.
I went here for a routine exam and saw Dr. Brandi Ring. It had not been an easy day and I had a few health questions to discuss - she was so compassionate, patient, and informative! I hadnt expected it, but this appointment ended up being the best part of my day and I left feeling much better than when I arrived. I cant imaging going anywhere else.
