I’ve had great experiences with the care here and am glad I chose this place over other fertility clinics. I’ve never had any issues with billing, with appointment setting, working with the IVF nurses, discussing treatment plans with either Dr. Albrecht or Dr Ambler. Others have mentioned the same to me. The techs are kind and they get to know you. Personable service from everyone is what I’ve experienced.
After my husband and I consulted with other fertility clinics, we went with Denver Fertility and couldn’t be happier. The nurses were very responsive in the portal and the clinic is working on increasing accessibility for patients with the texting option, which works pretty well. I put my full confidence into Dr. Ambler and her team and now I’m into my second trimester. No clinic is perfect (I’m in healthcare and can attest to that), but I had a smooth journey finally getting pregnant. I am forever grateful to Denver Fertility and will be coming back for my future fertility needs.
I do not recommend Denver Fertility Care. The clinic is extremely disorganized and unresponsive. The billing process has been frustrating, which has created a feeling that they are more interested in collecting money than providing care. They demanded that I pay out of pocket before ever filing claims with my insurance, which I had been asked to provide three different times. I have had to contact them multiple times to correct this, but they do not respond for weeks at a time or at all. Once they finally filed the claims, I can see that insurance has paid, but I still have not received reimbursement. When I brought this to Dr. Ambler’s attention during an appointment, I was met with anger and defensiveness. During the visit she told me to expect to wait one to two weeks for correspondence from the billing department. It’s been over three weeks and still nothing. The rest of my appointment she spoke over me, was abrupt and rude, and rattled off my lab results leaving me very confused. It is nearly impossible to get anyone to respond to me about reimbursement.There are so many additional ways in which I experienced unprofessionalism in the clinic, including lost blood work. The only positive thing I can say about the clinic is that the nurses are responsive and kind. One Star for the Nurses.
I am sure that this place does not have a lower star rating because most people want to keep their fertility journey private but I echo the sentiment of those who have given them a one star rating before.Communication is almost impossible. You call and they don’t answer ever. You leave a message and they don’t call back. I left a message over two weeks ago and never got a call back.You send a message through the portal and get an answer but whatever answer you get, the people at the front desk have a different policy.We were told we could bring a sample, not given any other information and then when we went there with the sample we were told by the front desk we needed an appointment.This whole process is already stressful enough to add having to decipher their information on top of it.I’m sure that if I request my medical records to go to a different clinic, they will tell me what they’ve told others and make me wait months before sending them, I mean, you can’t even see the full records in the portal.I’m saddened, upset, frustrated, and angry at this whole ordeal. It’s almost like they are trying for people to fail with all these practices. This was all wasted money and time. Please don’t go to either of their offices.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Egg retrieval was done twice because first time DR.DANA AND HER STAFF DID IT WORNG! Plus, embryo transfer failed and Dr.Dana said she doesn’t know why it failed. This place have very poor knowledge. Spent my 1 year and a lot of money and still don’t know whats the real reason. Changing my doctor.
This place is awful. After bunch of tests and weeks of waiting, they canceled our regroup appointment without our knowledge because Dr has left for the day which is totally unacceptable. They said they can reschedule. So, wait another few weeks? No, thank you. They were very insensitive to the fact that time is crucial. They didnt even have a decency pick up the phone and tell us that our appointment is canceled. Very very incompetent staff.
