To be deceived and lied to. Is the hardest thing to me. They give me no hope. Just as the one i loved did. I have hoped and work for help from the people that said they are here to help. I have lost limbs and jobs from the Infection that is a cause from my down fall. I am sad lost sick from the people that said they would help me. Words that I believed would make life seem better than just a dream how wrong for me to believe that there was hope for me I will work til the day I leave and finally free sooner then most I do believe but the day I dont breathe will be OK for me that time in life no one can ever lie to me and then I will be free. Thank you Alberto for letting me see that there is no one there for me but me.

Dont waste your time with these people. You may or may not get any response or communication from your case manager for starters. I tried reaching mine for a week finally called a supervisor who also doesnt return her calls either.Once I was finally able to get an appointment I arrived 10 minutes early and waited in the waiting area for 30 minutes after that. They said they thought I was taken care of when I asked why my wait was so long past my appointment time.Do better. Figure it out. Because your communication AND customer service sucks

Ive been going to Colorado Health Network for a little over 2 years now and have always had a great experience. The staff is really friendly and personal. They are extremely discreet, professional and a staple for the LGBTQ community here in Denver. Highly recommend if youre looking for a good, affordable doctor.

DO NOT TRUST OR SUPPORT Colorado Health Network.Extreme caution is warranted when considering Colorado Health Network for medical care, case management, or HIV treatment. The organization has faced challenges ranging from inadequate case management to a lackluster medical clinic and a leadership team that has been perceived as unsatisfactory. Concerns have been raised about the mismanagement of funds allocated through the Ryan White CARE Act Programs, ADAP, Medicaid, and various levels of government funding, all of which are designated to support individuals living with HIV.Given these issues, it is imperative that relevant local, state, and federal authorities conduct thorough audits to assess the organizations actions and policies. I strongly encourage the Ryan White Program to withhold funding until a comprehensive examination of Colorado Health Network is completed. This is a crucial step to initiate corrective measures and potentially restructure the organization from its upper echelons downward. The reported mistreatment, malfeasance, ignorance, and arrogance experienced by the HIV+ community in Denver under the auspices of Colorado Health Network are unacceptable. It is time for decisive action to address these concerns and ensure the well-being of those relying on the organization for support. It is recommended that individuals exercise caution and refrain from supporting this organization until necessary reforms are implemented. Providing accurate information and fostering a transparent and accountable environment are essential to the overall safety and welfare of the HIV community and the broader LGBTQ+ population.

My complaints are that this organization seems understaffed and the case workers/ insurance brokers are too green and un-knowledgeable. They seem to lack training and its too bad that this place cant keep and provide experienced expert social workers because unfortunately this seems to be the only source of HIV related assistance in the area and there arent any other options. Ive never had many issues with the colorado health network until this year. They had a great caseworker at Denver Health back in the day named Ruth M. who always knew how to help me but now she is gone and they have a temp working there. I dont receive medical care here but they usually help me with SDAP and insurance needs. Nowadays Ive been communicating over the phone and email which had been ineffective because its easier for them to put my needs on the back burner. I recommend that you set up an appointment and see your case worker in person at their offices on Colfax to get anything done.Im hoping they can pull it together and get back on track because this is a life- saving necessity for those of us in Denver. If they do better Ill change my rating back to positive in the future.

I had my first visit here the other day and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had going to a doctors office or clinic. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming and helpful. The nurse practitioner was great and very friendly as well as professional. It was also pretty quick for everything. Super happy with the results and the staff.

After my physician left his practice I was looking for a new provider. I am so glad I found Randall McDavid and Colorado Health Network. The front office staff was extremely kind and helpful with getting my medical records transferred. Whenever I’ve called the office, I always get a person and not voicemail. They are very accommodating, friendly, and professional. Randall is an excellent provider who greatly cares about his patients. I feel very at ease and comfortable when voicing any questions or concerns that I have. If you’re looking for a new provider, I highly recommended calling Colorado Health Network and getting in to see Randall McDavid. You won’t be disappointed with the level of care you receive.

This place is truly amazing! Everyone is extremely helpful and wonderful to interact with. I get case management, primary medical care, and dental services all in one place. Randall is my primary care provider and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Everyone in the clinic is awesome and I love that I can see a doctor and dentist in one day, in one place. Essentially this place is great and I had to share!

Have been going here for years and they have went all the way down hill with care providers, facility, methods of talking to patients with concerns for their health. I would have said go here two years ago but today Im just happy they are hiring. Thank god for Maria and Michelle for keeping this place going.

Im soooo sick and tired of clueless social workers who dont KNOW how to do there jobs ive been dealing with this company for years because im dirt poor disabled and live below the poverty line. The level of cluelessness in the admin dept knows no bounds from the top brass to the bottom NOTHINGS CHANGED. the PAPERWORK a client needs to fill out is THE SAME!!! Every year!!! The PAPERWORK proof i need to bring in is THE SAME every YEAR yet when i tell them i need to sing a release form so they can have access to my medical docs they look at me like im from MARS ITS THE SAME!!! Every year!!! Completely CLUELESS. Then i have to REPEATEDLY bring in the SAME paperwork to be copied MORE than once because they must have gremlins because the paperwork is ALWAYS misplaced and disappears its NOT my job to do your job its NOT my responsibility as a client to keep coming back and redo bits and pieces of paperwork because of the 6 social workers ive been DUMPED on over the years because they all QUIT or get fired they are NEVER READY from point A to B when i show up to Re certify paperwork. Oh but you still HAVE to be polite in the face of huge incompetence. Go somewhere else just because this is the biggest company in town in NO way means its the best QUITE THE OPPOSITE. im repulsed by the SHEER level of incompetence lack of proper training YEAR AFTER YEAR.

This clinic is by far the best I’ve had. I see Randall McDavid for all of my primary care needs. He’s very knowledgeable with general care and the particularities of men’s health. It’s much more like a visit with a friend than a mundane chore at the doctors office. Their services are efficient, and Randall is very personable and relatable. I highly recommend him and this staff to anyone looking for thoughtful and stress free medical care!

I cant give it a 1 because they services they provide to the HIV+ community are greatly needed and valued, however its the PEOPLE they have providing these services that leave much to be desired. First its like a revovling door of case managers they just cant seem to hold on to good people. Second, they are HORRIBLE about communicating with clients. Emails will go unreturned, voicemails too. My husband had 3 different case managers within a year and nobody from CHN called to notify him at any time. Its just lax service. More often than not its evident the people they have working there just arent into it. Their hearts arent in it. It honestly feels like they treat their clients as more of an imposition than anything else.

When I moved to Denver I wanted a doctor I could feel comfortable with and I found him. I have been seeing Dr. McDavid for three years now and had to follow him when he opened his own practice. I can’t say enough good things about Colorado Health Network. Dr. McDavid has had extensive training in anything and everything related to HIV prevention and treatment, he actually trains other doctors in the state and is truly passionate about his work. I hate getting my blood drawn and when Mary drew my blood I hardly felt it. She’s so good. I would say that if you are looking for a LGBTQ friendly environment look no further. Randall and his team and the BEST!

Love the folks here! But was saddened today to learn the newsletter is not moving forward. I understand saving costs. But implementing a Newsletter is such a valuable tool. As a person disabled and low income, I found it very informative and utilized it often.. I feel a website would be affective and nobody looses a chance for helpful information. Also maybe flyers at front desk and food bank could avoid any snail mail costs.... Love to all::my positive perspective,, JR

I myself have been greatly helped by DCAP and the wonderful staff that work here. The best, I think, are how my friends, close friends, have come here for, HIV +, No medical insurance, no food, no place to live. Unable to work and in weeks, days, see them again, better, rested, hopeful, food in there systems. I know without DECAP I myself may very well not be here today, thanks Angela, and all you hard working people.
